(The scene opens inside of a nice, fancy restaurant with candle lights at every table and the people inside so beautiful that the average person can't help but hate them. A soft sound of a violin plays sweetly in the background as the camera zooms in on Dan Stein and his date, Jamie.

The two sit across from each other, their hands up on the table, her's in his. Stein looks sharp, to say the least, with a nice suit complete with a baby blue tie. His date wears the same color dress, definitely a planned occurance. The two are smiling so big, the reflection of the light off their teeth all but creates a glare on the camera lense.)

Dan Stein: "I still can't get over how incredible you look."

(She blushes gently, Stein grins just a little.)

Dan Stein: "I mean it. Your hair is perfect, your skin looks impeccable and you're glowing like an angel. Are you sure you're real?"

(She nods as he begins to rub her hand with his thumb.)

Jamie: "Yes, Danny. I'm sure. You're not the one blushing so much your cheeks are on fire."

(Stein looks over his shoulder as a waiter brings water to their table. Stein politely thanks the man, and turns back to Jamie.)

Dan Stein: "But you're the one that looks imaculate."

Jamie: "Oh, please. I'm sitting across the table from the most handsome blonde haired, blue eyed boy with the most amazing body any girl could ever hope for. Not only that but you're a great guy to talk to, and you're a tiger in the sack."

(Stein smirks.)

Dan Stein: "Haha, it takes two to tango, Jamie."

(Jamie laughs.)

Jamie: "Oh, goodness. You're the one that wrestles for a living."

(Stein sighs, jokingly.)

Dan Stein: "There's better wrestlers out there."

Jamie: "Oh, really? Well Eric told me that you've been training with Jun Kenshin and other veterans. Eric says you're one of the best he's ever seen."

Dan Stein: "Well, Eric is full of bologna."

(She squeezed his hand gently.)

Jamie: "No, Danny. He's not."

(He looked at her, the look in his eye hid the fact that he knew he was one of the best, and that he honestly thought he was a great wrestler... but he didn't want her to know it.)

Jamie: "So, when are you going to ask me out, Mr. Stein?"

(He looked around himself, then back at her.)

Dan Stein: "We are out, Jamie?"

Jamie: "Oh, you know what I mean. When are we going to be 'official'?"

(Stein's smile faded. In the back of his mind, Ledge was telling him to get up and walk away. But at the same time, his mother was right there, telling him to ask her out right there.)

Dan Stein: "In time, ma'am. I can't ask you to be my girl now, that's too much perfect for one night."

(He was grabbing for straws, and she knew it. But she also knew why he couldn't do it.)

Dan Stein: "Alright. Lets get out of here, I want to show you something."

(He held onto her hand as he stood up. He let it go as he walked behind her and slid her chair out from under her. The camera faded as she stood up, his hand sliding back down to hers.)

***

(The Lights stood in front of the camera, a pair of black Oakleys over his eyes. He was wearing a nice white button up dress shirt with a black undershirt peaking out from under it. On his neck was a fresh tattoo that not many had seen before; 'MOM' written in script on the side of his neck. He was in the gym, though it was just he and the cameraman who were occupying it. The sun was just peaking into the windows with the early morning sunrise, The Lights' smile was glowing brighter than the room.)

THE LIGHTS: "There we go, Devastation. There we go. Now you're starting to kick back. Now you're starting to show the fire I know and love. There's just one problem. You're going about it all wrong."

(He smirked under the glasses.)

THE LIGHTS: "See, you open your schpeel about going in thinking you're tough shit and ending up getting wiped up and tossed out like a Swiffer pad. And then you go and think you're tough shit all over again. You're walking down the same path you tred last week. Are you absolutely sure you want to seal this and lock it away in your mind?"

(Stein pauses for a second, still smirking.)

THE LIGHTS: "THEN, you go and call me your friend, and talk about how you 'respect my ability' but don't give me the respect to believe that I could beat you in that ring. You're sure, you're fucking huge. You're sure you outweigh me by almost 75 pounds. You're sure you're more seasoned. You're sure you're older. You're sure you're slower. You're sure you're not as innovative. You're sure you're not as agile. Oh, wait... did you happen to forget those things? Sure, you can throw me around the ring like a Raggedy Andy doll. But, Devy, you got to be able to catch me, first. Not just catch me, but catch up with me. Stay at my speed. Keep your stamina kickin'."

(Stein chuckles.)

THE LIGHTS: "Oh, so now you're not so sure you can beat me, are you, Devy? Of course not, it's so implanted in your dense skull that you're going to beat me, you're already donating your gloves to the OPW Hall of Fame as the first gloves you wore on your way to the top, aren't you? Just like last week... just like when you lost.

Myself, on the other hand, I understand that this is a wrestling match. Understand that I'm going into this match with the mindset that I'm going to win, understand that I want to win this match. But know that I'm not cocky enough to seal it up before I get in the ring with you. You could very well catch me of guard. You could be 'that guy' and completely obliterate me. The monster. You could wrestle me out of my pants and embarrass me in front of all of our fans. But me understand these things just leaves me better prepared for what's to come."

(Stein smirks.)

THE LIGHTS: "Yeah, you're more experienced than me. How can you prove to be better than me? Have we wrestled before? Have we experienced the same people? I wrestle guys half your size, and you're fighting Optimus Prime and Megatron. Yeah, we worked together. Never have we wrestled each other. While you're writing me off and booking your escort out to the clubs, I'm in here. This gym, training with guys your size, with your credentials and abilities, preparing for what could be the turning point match in both of our OPW careers.

Oh, wait... I'm just a low-life you're going to run through. This match doesn't bar on your career, does it?"

(Stein takes off his sunglasses, and continues to smirk at the camera.)

THE LIGHTS: "Just like you could catch me off guard, I could do the same to you. You want me to believe you respect me, you want everyone to believe you respect me... but your words, mannerisms, everything about you prove to me that you don't want to THINK about losing to me. So me catching YOU off guard is possible. And in the blink of an eye?"

Lights Out.
