The scene opens up to Dan Stein, beating a punching bag. The bag swings back and forth as he pounds his fists into it. The chains creaks and moans as his fists thud faster. Thump... thump... thump... THUMP... Stein steps back from the bag, dropping his hands and shaking them.

Dan Stein: "The O.P.W. Light Heavyweight Champion doesn't know who I am? The woman that's holding the one belt that all the Light Heavyweights in our circle dream about, doesn't even know who Dan 'The Lights' Stein is. She doesn't know where I'm from. Shit, she doesn't even respect the fact that I beat every... single... Light Heavyweight in the second season of Sky High, held by one Ed Raymond in cooperation with True Talent Wrestling. She doesn't realize that I was tutored, I honed my skills under the tutelage of one Cade Sydal, the O.P.W.'s former Technical Messiah. This all leads me to believe that, while she is the Light Heavyweight Champion, Ms. Ida May doesn't even know who made the Light Heavyweight Title worth anything. That man being the Atlantic Coast Champion, your friend and mine... Cade Sydal. While she was busy wrestling pigs and hillbillies in the south, Dan Stein was busy wrestling, and beating, the likes of the famed Cade Sydal."

Stein rolls his head on his neck.

Dan Stein: "So, while Ms. Ida May may not be in our little tag tournament after this battle royal, she will be the prize at the end of the tunnel. Excuse me, her title will be. But I'm starting to wonder what I'm going to enjoy more, winning that belt or educating Ms. Clampette about O.P.W.'s history in the pure wrestling scene. But I'm just dropping names, right? Ed Raymond, Cade Sydal, I'm just using these guys to make you feel alarmed. Aelous Wrath... Loco Martinez... Herbert J. Moxley. The list goes on, sweet heart. And after this battle royal, after the tag tournament, after OUR match, Ida May, your name will be added to that list."

Stein grins.

Dan Stein: "But you're not the only female in the match this thing. 'O Noes!' Eric Dillinger's protege is popping up out of nowhere, claiming to be the next big thing to O.P.W. Boasting about how she is one of the first kids to start their wrestling career in O.P.W. Little did you know, even Dan Stein debuted in O.P.W. as Prototype-X. My first EVER match, in any federation, was in O.P.W. So thank you for making my point. I'm not just a technical master, I. Am. HARDCORE. I am the man you aspire to be, I DEFINE WRESTLING..."

Stein sighs.

Dan Stein: "Boasting about how she was in London, boasting about this and that and how she plans to suplex all of us out of our boots and onto the floor."

Stein rolls his eyes.

Dan Stein: "Daddy's little girl. Daddy's little 'wrestling prodigy'. Rookie phenom? I bet you're killer in the bed. Too bad it looks like you enjoy muff as much as I do, Audrie."

Stein shrugs.

Dan Stein: "Lets just hope you're more than half the man your trainer was, Audrie. You walk into the ring with that attitude, you wont be suplexed out of the ring. You'll be carted off of the mat after I kick those ovaries of yours clean out your backside. You wont be showing the world anything except just how violent my legs are. They don't call me 'The Kicker' for nothing, toots. And those scars, darling? Those scars mean squat to me. Once you go a year and a half, having men twenty to fifty pounds heavier than you, two to six inches taller than you trying to get your Heavyweight title from you in the most extreme underground fighting company in all of New York, then you can boast about scars. I've ended more men before the first bell than you've fantasized over, loose britches. And remember, Audrie. Dillinger was nothing to this federation, DeathSun was nothing, and you, Ms. McLaughlin, will. be. nothing. Nothing more than just a whiz kid. Whiz on in, make us watch your tape, then whiz on right back out the door, back to Paris... or... Berlin or whatever it was you said you were from. Because you're not wrestling O.P.W.'s little guys."

Stein again grins.

Dan Stein: "You're wrestling the best Light Heavyweights in the world. Including me, the only one that wrestles from when the lights turn on... until the lights turn out. Your night? It'll end a little earlier than that. Back Alley, my re-debut in the O.P.W.? It's my night. And there's nothing you, Ida May, Conor McClellan, Chivalric, Marc Stanton or Elliot Landry can do about it."

Stein's grin fades away.

Dan Stein: "That's... The Kicker."
