Dan Stein: "The fact of the matter, people, is that Dan Stein IS American Pro Wrestling."

Dan Stein smirks.

Dan Stein: "People watch me wrestle, they see me go out there and perform in front of the crowds... They hear the reactions the crowd gives me, and the eat it up. They want it. They CRAVE what I get. Whether or not the fans like me, they have the same reactions, week in and week out. I am the most entertaining superstar in Outlaw Pro Wrestling, LEGACY, and now... NAFW. I. am. Pro. Wrestling."

Dan Stein: "Everyone in the stands knows my name. Everyone at home knows my name. I have companies recruiting me, trying to sign me to contracts simply to use my name to attract people. But I stay in OPW. Why? Because OPW is the toughest place in the nation. The fans are hard-asses and the wrestlers are top notch."

Stein grins.

Dan Stein: "But they will never. Ever. Be better than Dan Stein. Hate me or love me, you come to watch me. And because of that, OPW. You will never release me."

Stein walked through the doors from the inside Hybrid Gym. The woman behind the desk looks up from her papers, obviously acknowledging something is wrong. As Stein walks towards the entrance, the woman speaks and catches Stein's attention.

Woman: "Dan? What's wrong?"

Dan Stein: "Yeah, I'm fine. Flaherty and Bishop, however... tell them to be on the lookout."

Woman: "For what?"

Stein smirks, sliding on his sunglasses.

Dan Stein: "The Lights."

Stein turns back to the door and walks out of the building, leaving the woman wondering what in the hell happened.

I'm not going to lie to anyone. That's not what I'm about. I'm not a liar, I'm not a thief. I tell it like it is. I am Daniel Stein, and I am the best PURE wrestler on this roster. Put me up against anyone, and I will prove that. Night in and night out, champion after champion. Set me up with pure wrestling rules, I will dominate this federation.

You can bitch and moan, you can whine and cry about anything you want to whine and cry about, but Outlaw Pro-Wrestling was FOUNDED on PURE wrestling. That's what EVERYONE wanted to watch OPW for. That's what everyone tuned in to watch. Then, the business took a different front and became 'hardcore'. It lost the PURE wrestling fans, it lost it's T.V. time and starting being broadcasted on the internet. THE FUCKING INTERNET. Who the FUCK watches broadcasts on the internet? Half of our fan base that can't be there live doesn't have an internet connection fast enough to WATCH the broadcast, let alone understand what the fuck is going on with their crappy video cards.

OPW was great... it's where I started my wrestling career, and I will always owe that to OPW; but this isn't OPW. This isn't the OPW I know. This is Craig Carson's OPW. Dave Dymond has to be sick at what Carson did to his company. This isn't Outlaw Pro-Wrestling. This Devious... International... Wrestling.... Federation. This is DIWF-lite. OPW? It's something different. Something that I will work for night in and night out to bring back.

Carson wanted to nix the Light Heavyweight Championship. He wanted to do away with everything Dave Dymond believed in. OPW isn't about big, beef heads throwing each other around; it's about every wrestler that ever felt rejected, or wasn't accepted in any other federation, or had different opinions then their boss, or just wanted to fucking wrestle being able to do that. Eliminating the Light Heavyweight title? Eliminates everything that myself, Ida May, and the rest of the Light Heavyweight roster believes in. Marc Stanton couldn't keep the title afloat, Ida May can't do it. It's up to the rest of us to do it... it's up to me.

During the tag tournament, every. single. person. my tag partner and I face will be staring up at the same.

DAMN

THING.

...

The Lights. And they've never been brighter...

Dan Stein, your next and BEST Outlaw Pro-Wrestling Light Heavyweight Champion.
