[BEHIND THE MAKE-UP:]

So, I never really liked the other layout. I worked really hard on the image though so I wanted to use it, but really It wasn't great. I am hoping this one fights my character better. Let me know how this style works for you guys, the readers (however many that may be). This RP is really short. Probably the shortest RP I have written. But this fed lets you write as many RPs as you want so I am going to go a different route with my style. Enjoy. Oh and I know the links don't work... Im working on it.

[SET UP:]

Jonny Payne has just won a prestigious trophy. The JWF Xtreme Championship. A title that Jonny Payne is no stranger to, having won the equivalent in multiple different companies. In fact, there have been some that have gone as far as to proclaim him a "Hardcore Icon". But, Jonny has been trying to shed his past and go on to bigger and (what some might say) better things. In the short time he has been here he has made it clear that his sights are on the Heavyweight Championship. Now on his second match in the company he gets to go for just that opportunity.

[PUNCH LINE:]

"Can you help me with this?" Payne asks while holding up his newly acquired Xtreme championship.

"Sure, hon." Page grabs the belt and straps it to his boyfriends waist.

"Thanks. You ready to do this?"

"I'm nervous. I've never walked out on stage with you before."

"Listen, there's no difference than this and what you do every day at the club... Except you won't be making any tips. " He laughs.

"Oh Ha. Ha. Let's just do this."

The lights in the arena go dim. A fog of smoke begins to emerge. The Mix of Metal and Electronica begins as Smashing Pumpkins' "The Beginning is the End is the Beginning starts to play. The stage area lights up and surrounding it are multiple strobe lights that flicker on and off in every direction of the arena. Page Turner walks out in her usual attire and walks over to a conveniently placed pole set up on stage that wasn't noticed earlier on. She does a simple "Step Up" and "Hair Toss" and then casually dances near the pole until Jonny Payne appears. Payne extends his elbow and Page clasps on. Little lights surround the ramp and the two walk down it.

When they finally get down to the ring Page enters first doing a slight provocative pose on her way in, and Payne enters in next. He begins to look around the audience and hears mixed reactions. He removes his belt and grasps it on one end of the strap and slowly raises is arm high up in the air and the crowd begins to cheer a little more. Payne smiles, a face that is difficult to avoid with his physical appearance. He motions for a microphone and raises it to his mouth to begin to speak. Page rests against one of the turnbuckles cheering on her man sporadically throughout his speech.

"I am not one to make long boring speeches so, I am going to make this quick. I set out to prove that managements was mistaken by placing me at the beginning of the card. That, by opening the show they had very little hope for me. And What happened? Not only did I win the Xtreme Championship, I went on to give the best performance of the night! Out of four matches with two men each that means out of eight contenders I was on the top of the list!"

The crowd quietly boos. Payne's words may be true to a degree, but he is definitely over exaggerating.

"And my opponent, Joey Sativa, didn't disappoint either. He brought out parts of me that I haven't been able to let out in over a year. You see, it has come to my attention that there are certain people out there that thought that maybe *I* was trash talking the Hardcore division. Let me make it perfectly clear that I love the Hardcore Division. I have made a name for myself fighting in matches where I have lost more blood and sweat than medically acceptable. I love this title and I am going to do everything I can to keep this with me for my entire run here."

The crowds reaction pretty much stays the same. Some want to see Payne succeed, some want to see him leave, still others could care less.

"But my reasoning for coming out here is for something else. And that is my match next week. The match that shows that I proved myself last week and I am now taken seriously. In the main event I go against a so called "god". A supposed Rock and Roll God. Now I am not going to pretend like I know what that is. Or how it could possibly pertain to my opponent but I do know that this man barely put on a show last week and now he is the one thing that stands in my way of the coveted Heavyweight Championship. That makes him a target. A target that is going to get hit. You all have to realize that this is a long time goal of mine and that makes me a very dangerous person to be around."

To much shock to both Payne and Page the crowd begins to slightly cheer for the disfigured clown. While Payne may not be the favorite contender in this company The Rock and Roll God is probably the most hated man in the JWF.

Payne looks straight into the camera and starts pointing his finger at it as if he was talking face to face with his opponent.

"I don't know your story and I don't know what you did to get here. You are some big hotshot in this other company so you somehow heard of this company and now here you are. They say ignorance is bliss and for the time being I am going to ignore everything I know about you. You don't threaten me and you don't scare me. I am the Ace of Knaves. Embrace the Payne."

Payne drops the microphone to the canvas and makes his way back out of the ring. He stops and turns around as Page jumps into Payne's arms. She spreads out her body and both laugh hysterically until the camera fades to black.
