"See-kawh and Ice"

The scene opens in Brooklyn, New York, at the CCWA&ICE. We see Sara and Kotomi walking in, and Sara is obviously looking somewhat tired. Yesterday she wrestled her way up the East coast, starting with a RWA House Show in North Carolina, and up to a SFT PPV in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Earlier in the morning she got a text message from her Uncle Nate to meet her here this morning. With another two matches tomorrow, the battle royal, and the Devil's Dance qualifier, working out isn't really what Sara has in mind. The building is empty, which is unusual for this time of day, as many of the new recruits start their training early, and often times go the entire day. Sara seems a bit puzzled by this, as she a Kotomi walk towards Nathan's office. She knocks on the door, and hears him call him in. As she opens the door, she greeted by the sight of her uncle, sitting behind his desk, and three other pupils of his currently under contract with RWA, Chase Hollywood, JoAnna Sparks, and Rampage.

"Good morning Sara. How are you feeling today?" Nathan asks.

"I'm feeling alright, all things considered." Sara tells him, "If you guys are planning a work out session or something this morning, I'm going to be honest, I think I better sit it out today, I need to be fresh for tomorrow."

"Thats not what this is." Joanna says, "We want to talk about everything thats going on."

Sara and Kotomi look at each other confused. Sara looks at Nate who just shrugs his shoulders.

"The movie deal, Lethal Lottery, Devil's Dance, AND the tag team battle royal? All while being RWA T.V. Champion. Sara, how the hell is anyone else supposed to get an opportunity if you're taking them all?" Chase asks.

"Guys, Sara is getting these opportunities because..." Nate starts to say, until Sara cuts him off.

"Hold up Nate. What are you guys saying? I'm just trying to be the best at what I do." Sara tells them, "Its not my fault things are going my way."

"Well, why are you in this battle royal?" Joanna asks, "Sara, you should be focusing on the main event. You don't need a shot at the RWA Tag titles. You're already the T.V. Champ. And you're getting a chance to go for the Universal Title."

"Thats my fault guys. I asked her to take part in it. They needed someone else to make the field an even twenty." Nate tells them.

"The movie deal, Lethal Lottery, Devil's Dance, AND the tag team battle royal? All while being RWA T.V. Champion. Sara, how the hell is anyone else supposed to get an opportunity if you're taking them all?" Chase asks.

"Come on Nate. She didn't have to say yes to it." Joanna begins, "I mean, what kind of workaholic nut job are ya?"

Sara doesn't respond. Instead, Nate gets up from his chair behind the desk.

"Listen. Leave her alone. She's doing this as a favor too me, alright. So just back off."

"Aren't we good enough to represent See-Kwah&Ice? You had to bring you're superstar niece to make sure we won Nate?" Chase asks.

"No Chase. But I have two teams in this battle royal. Thats at least two sets of people I know are going to out number me if I make it too the end. I wanted to make sure I had a alliance of some kind, not linked to you guys, or Strike Force Team. Thats all."

Everyone just keeps looking at each other. Except Sara and Rampage, who's eyes are looked on each other.

"How about you? Feel like saying anything?" Sara asks.

"*grunt noise*" is the only response she gets.

"Thought so. Well guys, I'd be lying if I said this was my most pleasant visit. But I don't care. I know you're all anxious for the match, so I'm not upset," Sara tells them as she and Kotomi stand up from their chairs, "Good luck tomorrow night."

Why am I focusing on this match, when I have a Devil's Dance qualifier to worry about. Because I want to win. I've wanted to win the RWA United Titles for awhile, ever since Starr and I lost to Kamikaze and Nirvana in the semi-finals of the tournament in June. I'll b honest, my plan for this point in my career was to be teaming with Uncle Nate. I figured if we were partners, it'd be easier for him to help teach me, and help me learn new skills in the ring. So far, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't squeaking by on a minimal arsenal of moves. My solo career has sky rocketed based on reasons I don't know. And learning new things has taken to the back burner.

In this match, I have a few friends. Including my mentor, five people I go to school with, a former tag partner, and a few others I've meet and talked too backstage at shows. Only the thought of having to pair with Dameon makes me uneasy as I sit here and think about it. Other then him, there really isn't anyone I have a problem with.

Of course, I'm hoping to be the last one standing with my Uncle Nate. That way, my plan can come to fruition, and if things don't work out on the singles side, I have something to fall back on. It might sound crazy that I'd be this willing to let the Devil's Dance slide by because of this. And it is. I'm not going to let the Devil's Dance slide by for anything. But that doesn't mean I'm not going to give it my all to make sure I'm one of the last two standing tomorrow. And then, with my energy about on empty, I'll take what I can into the main event. I told myself I was going to go four of four this week....and I'm already half way there.

End...
