Vancouver, BC
We hear "Into the Void" by Nine Inch Nails as we see Hector Braun making his way into GM Place in anticipation of the second GWO pay per view, one which Hector has been planning for weeks in advance. He rounds the corner and enters his office only to find it empty. He looks both ways down the hall, then spots a janitor.
Hector Braun - Hey you! What happened to all of my office stuff?
Janitor - *shrugs* I didn't see anything man.
Hector storms off while the camera shows a smile on the janitor's face. We can tell now that it's Dan Jalldoff. We then head to the opening credits which feature images of The Parish, Leech and Moose, Slim Pickens, Hellfire Jack, Garth Rivers and T-Rex before we head to ringside where Henry Lesher and Ricky Simms are set to call the action.
Ricky Simms - Hector's office is cleaned out, but why?
Henry Lesher - I don't like the looks of this.
"Come With Me" by Puff Daddy plays as we see Tony Parizi, Cordelia Parizi, Shannon Skanes, Myst and Sal Clemenzo on their way to the ring. The crowd gets to their feet and cheers as they slowly make their way to the ring, then men dressed in suits and the women in glamorous gowns. Tony enters the ring with Sal close behind. Shannon then jumps up onto the apron and smiles as he looks around at the people who have cheered him on for over two decades. Tony Parizi grabs a microphone and starts talking.
Tony Parizi - Dear, dear friends, tonight I come to you with tidings of great joy. You see, there is a cancer in wrestling today, and I am quite the cure for cancer. Hector Braun built this little place into a big place, but he did it by taking the CWA and destroying it. My good friend Shannon came to me and.... we just took it back. Hector Braun, you are fired, my friend. You have five minutes to leave the building.
Backstage we see security ushering an enraged Hector Braun out of the building. He swears revenge and swears a lot of things as he is shoved out the door and some of the security guards are smiling at what they just did. The crowd in the sold out arena cheers.
Tony Parizi - Now, bring me the girls.
"Money" by Pink Floyd plays as Crystal and Casey Braun are brought to the ring by Jessica and Jamie Parizi. They look scared, preferring to be anywhere but here. They enter the ring as the fans start different chants, all of which question the character and virtue of the Braun girls.
Tony Parizi - Now, what to do with you two winners... See, I watched what you have been up to and the wheelchair games being played with Dizz and, for a short time, Max Cameron. That will not be happening on my watch. You see, we bought Dizz out. He no longer has any power here. Your days of dressing up and playing nurse or house or whatever the hell you two play are over. I am here to put an end to all of that. Now, firing you two would be easy. I don't intend to let you two off easy. Besides, what fun is it to throw your father out without making him suffer? You two work for me now. I am giving you tonight off, but I'll be seeing you next week at Overdrive. Now, get out.
Again "Money" by Pink Floyd plays as the Braun sisters leave the ring without a word said, Crystal wiping a tear from her cheek. They head back with Jessica and Jamie Parizi again accompanying them.
Tony Parizi - I guess there is one more piece of business. Tonight we crown a world champion, our first ever. Tonight we also have a lot of matches scheduled featuring old CWA stars, a couple of which still think they are something special and can ruin matches or entire events simply because you're so bloody special. That's over, guys. I run the damned show and no one ruins it, no one.
"Come With Me" by Puff Daddy plays as this new mafia-like bunch leaves the ring. The crowd cheers them louder on the way out than they did when they were on their way in. Shannon and Myst relax enough to sign a couple of autographs as they head to the back. We then look backstage where we see Max Cameron deep in thought as Ray Dees enters the picture.
Ray Dees - Max, a moment of your time?
Max Cameron - What do you want?
Ray Dees - Tonight you have a chance to become the GWO champion. How does that opportunity make you feel?
Max Cameron - I really don't have time for this. I would humor you, Ray, with a clever answer, but not tonight. I have a lot on my mind. I cannot fail.
Max leaves Ray by himself. Ray looks around and whistles to himself before we head to ringside where the matches are set to begin.
Youngblood vs Crusader vs Zack McCracken
"My Own Savior" by Iced Earth plays as Youngblood comes out to a mixed reaction from the capacity crowd. He high fives one fan who is holding up a sign praising his arrival in the GWO before he steps onto the apron and then through the ropes and into the ring. He then speaks to the ref as we hear "Beautiful Stranger" and Zack McCracken comes out to a strong pop from the crowd with Felicity leading the way to the catcalls of many. Zack stands at ringside, looks up at his opponent this week and raises one eyebrow and then steps onto the apron and into the ring. "One Man Army" by Sepultura plays as Crusader makes his way to the ring. The fans give him the same mixed reaction any new wrestler in the GWO gets. As he steps into the ring soon after, we hear the opening bell.
Ricky Simms - As we try to digest all that has just happened here, we start this major GWO event off with a triple threat match I have been looking forward to.
Henry Lesher - You have a very boring life. I personally find it amazingly wrong that the Brauns have been humiliated like this after all they have done.
Ricky Simms - Yes, after the abuse of their power and their overall disgust shown towards anyone with any heart or mercy, you're right. They should be rewarded. I put Tony Parizi in charge of handing that reward out.
Henry Lesher - That's not even remotely funny.
Youngblood lands a right hook to the jaw of Zack which sends him reeling to the corner. Crusader charges at Youngblood who ducks, scoops Crusader up and gives him a fisherman's suplex to the mat. Youngblood then stands over Crusader and drives a knee to his skull and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Crusader. Youngblood stands Crusader up, whips him off the ropes and ducks his head for a backdrop. Crusader stops his forward motion and knee lifts Youngblood in the face, then clotheslines him to the mat. Zack catches Crusader off guard with a spinning heel kick to the chest. Zack then stands with a smile on his face after showing the crowd what he had learnt. While patting himself on the back, Youngblood rolls him up from behind for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Zack McCracken who then rolls himself out of the ring to collect his thoughts.
Ricky Simms - Great showing thus far for all three men, no telling who might get the advantage here.
Henry Lesher - Well, come on now, Rick. We know jobber boy isn't going anywhere but down. Zack is not a match winner and never will be.
Crusader gets to his feet, sees that Youngblood has his back to him and charges, landing a knee to the spine of Youngblood and then giving him a bulldog to the mat before rolling him over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Youngblood as Zack rolls himself into the ring. Zack dropkicks Crusader in the back, driving him into the corner, then gives him a chop block to the mat. Zack again smiles and appears to be quite proud of his work as Youngblood rolls him up from behind for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Zack who again rolls out of the ring. This time, Youngblood follows him out. Youngblood knees Zack in the back, turns him around, punches him in the face and then gives him a vertical suplex on the floor to the delight of those in the front row. Youngblood then stands Zack up and rolls him into the ring as Crusader rolls himself out of the ring. Crusader rushes at Youngblood, but misses with a clothesline when Youngblood ducks it and Crusader's shoulder hits the steel corner post hard as Youngblood rolls himself into the ring.
Ricky Simms - That hurt Crusader bad.
Henry Lesher - He'll be on a crusade for a new arm soon, I guess.
Youngblood leg drops Zack McCracken and then pulls him towards a corner as he makes his way to the top rope. He looks to the cheering crowd, poses and then leaps off, landing the Bloodbath on Zack before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Youngblood gets the win and the crowd appears to be warming up to him now that they have seen him in action.
Ricky Simms - It impresses me how much new talent there is to be seen in the GWO and this guy is no exception. I see great things in his future.
Henry Lesher - That's because you have a distorted vision of reality.
Backstage we see Shannon Skanes with Dan Jalldoff.
Dan Jalldoff - So, what are you telling me?
Shannon Skanes - I am telling you I need a new staff around here and I have you on it.
Dan Jalldoff - You haven't told me with whom I'll be working.
Shelia Lavin enters the shot and we hear a loud pop from the fans.
Shannon Skanes - You're the acting commissioner, but Shelia here gets to decide stipulations if they are needed. This place is growing and I need you two to keep everything in order. I am bringing Wyatt Gibson back as well as my assistant. I'll teach him how to run things from the very top.
Dan Jalldoff - What about Myst or Noah?
Shannon Skanes - *smiles* Tonight Myst becomes the world champ. She doesn't qualify for staff as a result. Noah... I have big plans for Noah. It's not your concern to know what those plans are.
Shelia Lavin - It's good to see you back. Five more minutes with Barbie and Skipper and someone wasn't going to make it out alive.
Shannon Skanes - They'll get what they have coming to them. Trust me on that.
Cordelia Parizi vs Rod Gordon vs Mordecai Darius
"American Jesus" by Bad Religion plays as Mordecai Darius makes his way to the ring to a very strong chorus of boos from the crowd. He curses a few of them, but his walk to the ring is stopped when Rod Gordon attacks him from behind. The crowd cheers as Gordon tosses Darius over the guard railing into the aisle between seats of fans. Gordon steps onto the guard railing, but is shoved off by a charging Cordelia Parizi who then puts the boots to Gordon in the aisle before she heads into the ring and waits for Gordon there.
Henry Lesher - Parizi magic right there. I may not like their choice of friends, but that family is very smart and proved Rod Gordon isn't.
Gordon gets to his feet and looks quite disgusted as he heads into the ring. He steps through the ropes and takes a series of knee lifts to the chest before Cordelia whips him off the ropes and tries for a clothesline only to have Rod Gordon shoulder block her to the mat. Gordon then leg drops Cordelia and goes for the pin only to have the ref remind him that this match does not officially start until Darius is inside the ring. Gordon curses and heads out of the ring as we see Darius now on his feet as he starts over the railing. Gordon grabs Darius by the arm. Darius uses his free hand to poke Gordon in the eye before Darius hip tosses Gordon over the railing and into the same aisle he just stepped out of. Darius then climbs onto the railing and lands a scissor kick to the back of Gordon's neck from there. Darius smiles as he then takes Rod Gordon by the hair and slams his face into the guard railing five times before dumping him over the railing back into the aisle that heads to the ring. Darius casually climbs over the railing and drags Gordon by the hair to the ring where he rolls him inside. Darius then steps up onto the apron and Cordelia charges at him. She misses with a shoulder block and Darius grabs her by the hair and pulls her out of the ring and to the floor.
Ricky Simms - This match quite testy considering these three never fought each other before.
Henry Lesher - That's what happens when you piss off the priest.
Darius steps into the ring and two handed chokes Gordon while telling him that he going straight to hell for this. Darius then stands Gordon up, releasing the chokes and whips him into the corner buckle and gives him an inverted atomic drop to the mat. Darius then heads to the ropes, appearing to be quite happy with himself as he reaches the top. His happiness is ruined when Cordelia shoves him off the top and to the mat. Cordelia then makes her way to the top and leaps off, landing a frog splash on a fallen Darius as the bell finally sounds to get this match started. Cordelia then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Cordelia gains the win here and immediately we see Boomshalkalaka racing into the ring. He rolls under the bottom rope and starts putting the boots to Cordelia as Rod Gordon gets to his feet with a smile on his face. Boomshalkalaka then stands Cordelia up and whips her straight into a big boot to the face from Rod Gordon. We then see Zack McCracken charging into the ring with a chair in hand and Tony Parizi close behind. Boom and Rod exit through the crowd.
Ricky Simms - This Boom character has had a lot of people talking because of his enthusiasm for this game.
Henry Lesher - Is that another word for idiot? I mean, that's clearly what he is. He's picking a fight with the mafia? Why the hell is Zack with Tony Parizi anyways? That's very wrong.
Ricky Simms - Maybe Zack hasn't been as deluded as people think he is. Maybe there's some truth to his claims of involvement in spy operations.
Henry Lesher - Yeah, like there is a chance of that.
Backstage we see Austin Fierro with Kelly Buchanan.
Kelly Buchanan - Austin, it is good to have you back in the GWO. People are wondering what happened to you.
Austin Fierro - Good question. It's a shame you won't get your answer here. No, I have some business to attend to. I see Devo has the Canadian title now and that doesn't impress me in the least. I also see he has a shot at becoming a double belt holder tonight and that doesn't impress me. The Dying Breed is back and we are going to make damned certain that everyone knows it by the end of the night.
Kelly Buchanan - Other than Devo, anyone catch your eye at this point?
Austin Fierro - I have seen lots of new faces in the dressing room. I'm still pretty new myself. Time will tell who I wind up mixing it up with. It could be anybody, so the guys in the back had better be listening and listening good.
Kelly Buchanan - Thanks for your time, Austin.
He leaves without acknowledging her gratitude and we head back to the ring.
Boomshalkalaka vs The Dawg
"Hooch" by Sum 41 plays as Boomshalkalaka comes out to mostly boos from the crowd as he struts his way towards the ring. His strut is interrupted when The Dawg attacks him from behind. He tells Boom to learn some respect as he slams his face repeatedly into the guard railing. Dawg then picks Boom up and body slams him on the floor which appears to delight the capacity crowd.
Ricky Simms - GM Place solidly in support of The Dawg.
Henry Lesher - That doesn't impress me. Of course, they might be sheering because of who he is laying the beating to, you know.
Dawg stands Boomshalkalaka up and pulls him to the ring before rolling him inside. Dawg rolls himself into the ring and the bell sounds to get this match started. Dawg stands Boom up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat. Boom shows signs of motion first, using the ropes to get to his feet before Dawg is up past his hand and knees. Boomshalkalaka then starts putting the boots to The Dawg, then stands him up and gives him a German suplex that took a lot of strength to do. He stands Dawg up for another, but Dawg elbows Boom in the head repeatedly to break the hold and then Dawg headbutts Boom into the ropes where he knees him in the gut, then whips him off the ropes and shoulder blocks him to the mat.
Ricky Simms - Dawg has a lower center of gravity and that gives him a bit of an advantage.
Henry Lesher - You mean he's fat? Yes he is, he's a tubbo.
Ricky Simms - That's not what I meant.
Henry Lesher - Lower? Oh I get it. You mean short and fat.
Dawg leg drops Boom across the throat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Boomshalkalaka. Dawg stands Boom up, whips him off the ropes and Boom drops and spears Dawg into the corner buckle. He then gives Dawg a snap mare to the mat where he places Dawg into a sleeperhold. The crowd starts a chant for The Dawg and we see Cordelia Parizi making her way out from the back with a chair in hand.
Ricky Simms - I don't think Cordelia is happy.
Henry Lesher - Well, she's not smart. Dawg hates women and Boom is bigger than she is. A chair isn't going to help her much.
Dawg battles the sleeper as the ref picks his hand up once and it falls. He picks his hand up a second time and it falls. He picks his hand up a third time, but Dawg manages to keep his hand raised to avoid being defeated here. Dawg then starts elbowing Boom in the side, battling to get to his feet. He frees himself from the hold with another elbow to the gut and then gives Boom a stunner to the mat before trying for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Boomshalkalaka. Cordelia is seen pacing at ringside. Dawg stands Boom up, whips him off the ropes and then backdrops him to the mat. Dawg then plants a knee in the chest of Boom and follows that with a boot choke in the ropes.
Ricky Simms - Dawg battling hard as Cordelia still waits to play her hand here.
Henry Lesher - Yeah it's a bunch of Einsteins out there right now.
Dawg releases the boot choke, stands Boom up and whips him into the corner buckle. Dawg charges in for an avalanche that misses when Boom slides himself out of the way. He then gives Dawg a side Russian leg sweep to the mat and Boom goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by The Dawg. Boom stands The Dawg up, whips him off the ropes and clotheslines him to the mat. Boomshalkalaka then notices Cordelia at ringside and has a few words for her. She motions Boom out of the ring to discuss it. Boom steps halfway through the ropes, but rethinks it and wags a finger at her as he steps back into the ring. He starts telling her he is too smart for that when Dawg rolls him up from behind for the pin. 1...2...3! The Dawg gains a win over a distracted Boomshalkalaka.
Ricky Simms - Rough way to make an in ring debut as Cordelia distracted Boomshalkalaka from his task at hand this week.
Henry Lesher - I am just thankful it is over. It needed to be over.
The Dawg leaves the ring as Cordelia leaves through the crowd, dropping the chair at ringside as Rod Gordon comes to the ring and checks on Boomshalkalaka.
Henry Lesher - Great partner, shows up after you already lost the damned match.
Ricky Simms - Regardless, I believe this feud has just begun.
Backstage we see Leech and Moose entering the arena when they are headed off by Slim Pickens.
Slim Pickens - Shame you two have to wear belts that no one recognizes anymore.
Moose - Shame you have to go through life looking like that and having so little talent.
Slim Pickens - It's also a shame you two are going to suffer a loss as a tag team tonight. No way in hell you two are going to be tag team champions.
Moose - *laughs* We'll see there, Slim. I really like that title belt you have.
Slim heads off shaking his head as Leech and Moose laugh, their CWA belts over their shoulders. They then resume their walk to their dressing room.
Henry Lesher - Next tag team champions and it will be a great wonder to see!
Garth Rivers vs Steve Stryker
"Down With the Sickness" by Disturbed plays as Garth Rivers comes out to a decent pop from the crowd. Garth high fives a few who seem to especially appreciate his work. He then steps onto the apron and into the ring before turning to face the aisle in anticipation of the arrival of Steve Stryker. "Destroy All" by Static X plays as Steve Stryker is seen emerging from the back. He comes to the ring shaking his head and tells the camera that this is going to be the end for Garth Rivers tonight.
Ricky Simms - This should be an interesting match between two relative newcomers in the GWO.
Henry Lesher - That's how you see it. I don't see Leech, Dante or Q, so I am already tuned out of this one.
Steve steps through the ropes and the bell sounds. The two men circle each other, then go in for a lock up. Steve raises a knee to the gut of Garth Rivers, then eye gouges him and follows that up with a series of knife edge chops that drive Rivers into the corner. Steve then headbutts Rivers, then hip tosses him back to the center of the ring. Steve Stryker then climbs to the second rope and leaps off, giving Garth Rivers a double axe handle across the back. Stryker smiles and nods as he stands over Rivers, then tells the crowd this is what he is made of and no one will stop him.
Ricky Simms - Stryker certainly has been dominant thus far in this match.
Henry Lesher - Maybe Rivers finally ran out of gas.
Steve stands Garth up, whips him into the corner and then charges into that corner and straight into a boot to the head. It's then Rivers' turn to climb to the second rope and deliver a double axe handle. He follows that up with a leg drop across the back of Stryker's neck before rolling him over for the attempted pinfall. 1...2... kick out by Steve Stryker. Rivers then stands Stryker up, whips him off the ropes and spears him to the mat. Rivers then heads to the rope, climbs again to the second rope and tries for a knee drop from there only to have Stryker roll out of the way just in time to avoid the impact. Stryker then uses the ropes to pull to his feet quickly. He then starts putting the boots to Garth who is on his hands and knees. Stryker then stands Garth up, whips him off the ropes and then backdrops him right onto the referee!
Ricky Simms - The ref wasn't fast enough to get out of the way of that move.
Henry Lesher - Well, great, now this bloody thing will never end.
Steve Stryker heads outside the ring and then reaches under the apron and draws out a crow bar and smiles at it. He then rolls himself back inside the ring as the crowd screams at Garth Rivers to turn around and watch out. Garth turns, faces Steve and takes a crow bar between the eyes. Steve then drills the crow bar into the ribs of Stryker before he goes to the ref and helps him up. Steve then goes for the pin as the arena erupts in boos. 1...2...3! Steve Stryker with a highly questionable victory here this week and the fans know it. Steve smiles as he stands over the bloodied and broken Garth Rivers, then knee drops him in the side of the head before he again smiles and poses for the crowd.
Henry Lesher - Nice way to finish that Rivers idiot off. I might have to keep my eye on Stryker after all.
Ricky Simms - There is little doubt that this guy has started to make quite the name for himself here in the GWO. He's working his way into a title shot for sure.
Backstage we see Kelly Buchanan with Joe Davidson, signalling the official return of the CWA's most used and abused interviewer.
Kelly Buchanan - Joe, it is really great to have you back to help myself and Ray out with the job of interviewing the GWO.
Joe Davidson - Well, I had been holding out for more money, but then I found out how little leverage I had and so I signed anyway.
Kelly Buchanan - You took a lot of physical abuse in the old CWA. How have you prepared for that in your return?
Joe Davidson - I have learnt a lot of meditation techniques. I will start imagining my happy place if anyone even threatens me with any type of violence from here on. Barring that, I will return to the ring.
Kelly Buchanan - To wrestle?
Joe Davidson - Of course.
Kelly is speechless and leaves Joe there as we head back to ringside.
Moose/Leech vs The Two Jacks
"H" by Tool plays as The Moose and Leech come to the ring, both signalling to the camera that they are the next tag team champions. They are booed loudly by the crowd as they hold their CWA belts high. Moose and Leech step up onto the apron, look to the crowd and hold their CWA titles high for everyone to see. They then step into the ring. "Back In Black" by AC/DC blasts throughout the arena as Hellfire Jack and Halloween Jack make their way to the ring apart. There's been nothing said by them this week and we wonder how they will function as a tag team here at the biggest GWO event to date. Hellfire Jack steps onto the apron and has a few words for Moose who simply nods his head and beckons Hellfire into the ring. Leech steps out onto the apron and takes his place in his corner as the bell sounds and Hellfire and Moose lock up. Moose breaks the lock up and places Hellfire in a standing side headlock. Moose then attempts a bulldog only to have Hellfire shove him into the corner and then give him an atomic drop as he staggers out of it. Hellfire then picks Moose up and body slams him to the mat and then boot chokes him in the ropes. Hellfire releases the choke before the referee can reach a five count.
Ricky Simms - Domination early here by Hellfire Jack as the winning team is going to get tag team title shots.
Henry Lesher - Moose and Leech are toying with them. There's no way they blow this one at all.
We then see Shannon Skanes coming out from the back with a smile on his face. The crowd cheers as Jack stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a tilt a whirl backbreaker before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Jack stands Moose up, then takes a series of right hands from Moose before Moose eye gouges Jack, then shoves him into his corner where Leech holds him open for a series of kicks to the chest from Moose who then tags in Leech as Shannon takes his place at ringside with a grin on his face.
Henry Lesher - He has no business being out here.
Ricky Simms - He is the new GWO owner, so he has every right to be out here according to your Braun rules.
Henry Lesher - The Braun family was on the right side. Shannon isn't.
Leech whips Hellfire Jack into the corner buckle, then dropkicks him while he's there before monkey flipping him to the middle of the ring. Leech then places Hellfire into a crossface chicken wing. The crowd starts a chant for Hellfire Jack as Halloween Jack screams for the tag from the apron. Hellfire grabs for the ropes with his free arm, but he can tell he's too far away. Instead, he opts to swing his leg around and snag the bottom rope with that. The ref forces the break and Leech starts putting the boots to Hellfire as Jack scrambles towards his corner and tags in Halloween Jack. Halloween springboards onto the top rope and delivers a dropkick to the chin of Leech from there and goes for the pin. 1...2... Moose breaks it up. The ref walks Moose out as Halloween stands Leech up, then whips him into the corner. Halloween then steps up onto the second rope and rains down punches to the forehead of Leech as the fans count them off. He reaches ten, then drops to the mat and hip tosses Leech to the center of the ring.
Ricky Simms - Are they still toying with The Two Jacks?
Henry Lesher - Oh shut up. Moose and Leech are winners and Halloween isn't. It might be his month this month, but it's Moose and Leech's year.
Halloween Jack arm drags Leech to his corner where Hellfire Jack lands a boot to the jaw of Leech. Leech gets to his feet and staggers into a spinebuster by Halloween Jack who goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Leech as we see Shannon applauding from ringside. Moose has a few words for Shannon outside the ring and Shannon beckons Moose to come closer and say that. However, Hellfire Jack also wants the new GWO owner to exit the scene and Shannon shakes his head at him as well. Halloween stands Leech up and whips him off the ropes. Leech ducks a clothesline and then whips Halloween Jack through the ropes to the floor where he collides with Shannon and the two crumple in a heap on the floor. Leech smiles and tags in Moose. Hellfire Jack drops off the apron and helps Halloween Jack up, then starts putting the boots to Shannon Skanes as Leech grabs Halloween by the hair and pulls him into the ring. Halloween Jack drops to his knees, giving Leech a jawbreaker. Moose then grabs Halloween Jack, delivers a series of kicks to the chest of Halloween Jack and then picks him up and gives him the Moosedriver! Moose goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Moose and Leech grab the win as Hellfire Jack stops stomping on the owner and notices his team lost the match. Hellfire rolls into the ring and attends to Halloween Jack as Moose and Leech leave in celebration.
Ricky Simms - I am pretty sure that didn't end the way Shannon wanted it to.
Henry Lesher - Yeah, he screwed The Two Jacks out of a title shot.
Hellfire Jack helps Halloween Jack from the ring still shaking his head. Hellfire spits on the fallen Shannon Skanes as they pass him by and head towards the back. We then look backstage and see Tony Parizi shaking his head watching this action from his office as Max Cameron appears in the office himself. Tony laughs.
Tony Parizi - Well look what the cat dragged in.
Max Cameron - When I heard we had new ownership, I was happy. That was before I found out who it was. Look, I am owed the world title in the GWO. I am going to have it tonight.
Tony Parizi - Of course you are.
Max Cameron - I'm serious. No crap that gets Myst the win over me.
Tony Parizi - Max, you're quite the star, aren't you? You reunited a group no one gives a damn about and now you walk in here like you own the place. It is gonna be something to see you in that main event tonight. I assure you we will have the right champion when the dust clears.
Max Cameron - That would be me.
Tony Parizi - Well, you made good time in making it here after your BLPW appearance against that whiny bitch Simon. I must commend you for that. However, this is my company. I call the shots, not you.
Max laughs as he leaves the office and we head back to the ring.
Stevie James vs T-Rex
"Mo' Money Mo' Problems" by Puff Daddy, Mase & Notorious BIG plays as Stevie James comes out to a loud ovation from the crowd. He is seen on the four screens hanging above the ring on a boat with an attractive female with that same smile on his face. Stevie then struts to ringside, plants a kiss on the cheek of one young female fan and then steps onto the apron and looks out at the crowd again before leaping over the top rope into the ring, never losing his smile.
Henry Lesher - What is that?
Ricky Simms - That's Stevie James, newest GWO superstar and his reputation apparently precedes him.
Henry Lesher - These people are sad and pathetic.
As Stevie test the ropes, we hear "Can't Get the Best of Me" by Cypress Hill and T-Rex makes his way to the ring led by Mercedes and Lexus. Stevie smiles at the girls and calls them over as T-Rex slides into the ring. As Stevie readies to ask the girls for their numbers, T-Rex attacks him with a vicious series of forearms to the back of Stevie's neck as the bell sounds to get things started her. T-Rex places the neck of Stevie James over the middle rope and chokes him with it as the crowd boos. The girls at ringside applaud the efforts of their man T-Rex here as he releases the choke before the ref has a chance to disqualify him. T-Rex then stands Stevie James up, whips him hard into the corner and then clotheslines him to the mat as he staggers out of it. T-Rex then heads to the ropes and makes his way to the top. T-Rex then leaps and misses with an elbowsmash from there as Stevie rolls out of the way.
Ricky Simms - Seemed kind of early for that move.
Henry Lesher - So says you. It's a shame you're always wrong.
Stevie rolls out of the ring and makes his way around to where Mercedes and Lexus are and pulls a business card from his knee pad and hands it to Mercedes who looks at it, then at Stevie. T-Rex rolls out of the ring and slams Stevie's head into the apron before the girls have a chance to respond to Stevie giving them his card. T-Rex then grabs the card from Mercedes and tears it to pieces before her. He then slams Stevie's head into the steel ring steps and then rolls him into the ring before entering the ring himself. T-Rex stands over Stevie and yells at him for advancing towards his women during their match, saying he has no respect for Rex. T-Rex then stands Stevie up, whips him off the ropes and both men then clothesline each other to the mat. The ref starts counting both men out here as the crowd starts a chant for Stevie James.
Henry Lesher - Now they're chanting for the new guy? Idiots.
Ricky Simms - Stevie is an accomplished star and acquaintance of Lethal Weapon who was making quite a name for himself in the CWA before the takeover.
Henry Lesher - I didn't lose any tears over not having that guy around.
At the three count, we see Stevie showing signs of life here as he grabs the ropes and starts pulling himself to his feet. Stevie then kicks away at T-Rex before he's even fully standing himself. Stevie then rolls himself out of the ring and again approaches the girls. Mercedes and Lexus smile, but we can't tell if it is genuine or if they are baiting him. T-Rex rolls out of the ring again, this time grabbing a chair. He wields it at Stevie, but Stevie ducks it. The chair bounces off of the steel corner post and slams right back into T-Rex's face before Stevie spears him into the guard railing. Stevie then rolls him into the ring and then heads to the ropes and makes his way to the top as the crowd cheers. Stevie lands the Stevie Splash from there and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Stevie James with a win here heavily aided by T-Rex's self inflicted chair shot.
Henry Lesher - Moron wins. My will to live drops by the moment.
Ricky Simms - Moron? It was T-Rex that slammed the chair into his own head there.
Stevie rolls out of the ring and again approaches Mercedes and Lexus. Lexus and Mercedes smile and then they plant their heels into the knees of James before they throw him head first into the guard railing. They then enter the ring and tend to T-Rex. Outside the ring, Stevie gets to his feet with a smile on his face and vows this isn't over. He heads to the back as T-Rex comes to and then we head backstage where we see Devo with Vesuvius in the dressing room.
Vesuvius - Tonight you become the champ. You avenge the Parish.
Devo - You know, I am getting tired of being the one doing all the work. I hear all this talk about Parish this and that, but you're not wrestling tonight. Celia is a no show and Darius screwed up again. This isn't inspiring me to do it for the team.
Vesuvius - We have issues, but we'll get to the top.
Devo - *smiles* No, I am getting to the top. You're my waterboy.
Devo leaves Vesuvius to stew on that for a few moments before we head back to the ring.
Slim Pickens vs Gerard Angelo
"Hell Song" by Sum 41 plays as Gerard Angelo comes out with his TV title belt over his shoulder and a smile on his face. Angelo is booed as he shows the camera his Youthful Aggression T-shirt and Pyro is walking behind him to the ring. Gerard then jumps up onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. He hands his belt to Pyro and then steps onto the second rope and poses once for the crowd. He then jumps back down and has a few words with a fan in the front row. We then hear "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N Roses and Slim Pickens starts making his way to the ring which brings the crowd to their feet.
Henry Lesher - It's really wall to wall idiots today, isn't it?
Ricky Simms - Regardless of your opinion, this is the highest profile event for the GWO to date.
Henry Lesher - People are paying to watch this garbage?
Ricky Simms - I believe they mute it when you speak.
Slim Pickens has a few words for Pyro at ringside and tells him to keep the belt warm for him. He then steps into the ring and motions to Gerard that he's going down. The bell sounds and the two men lock up. Slim immediately shoves Gerard into the corner buckle, then gives him a spinebuster back to the middle of the ring. Slim then picks Gerard up and power slams him to the mat. Slim covers Gerard for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gerard Angelo. Slim stands Gerard up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline back to the mat. Slim then heads to the ropes and appears to be attempting the Slim Proposition early here. He dives, but Gerard moves out of the way and Slim hits the mat hard. Gerard then quickly gets to his feet and puts the boots to Slim before rolling him out of the ring. Gerard then follows Slim out, grabs him by the hair and slams his head on the guard rail. He then grabs an audio cable and starts choking Slim with it as the ref shouts at him that he is about to be disqualified.
Henry Lesher - Why would anyone disqualify Gerard for being resourceful?
Ricky Simms - Because he is breaking the rules.
Henry Lesher - Bleeding hearts rule the wrestling industry.
Gerard releases the choke, then whips Slim with the audio cable before discarding it and then rolling Slim back inside the ring. Gerard goes for the pin on Slim. 1...2... Slim Pickens rolls a shoulder out in time to avoid the loss. Gerard stands Slim up and whips him out of the ring again. Gerard smiles as he steps through the ropes and again grabs Slim by the hair. This time, however, Slim lands a series of punches to the gut of the TV champ, then throws him over the guard railing into the crowd. Slim then steps over the guard railing and lays down a pounding on Gerard out there even as the ref counts.
Ricky Simms - Slim had better be careful or this will wind up a double count out.
Henry Lesher - I could see him doing that since he cannot match up fairly with Angelo.
Slim slams Gerard's head into the guard railing, then steps over it and rolls himself into the ring. The ref starts the count fresh on Gerard whose forehead is bleeding outside the ring. Gerard stumbles over the guard railing as Pyro helps him over, handing him brass knuckles as well. Gerard holds the brass knuckles close to his chest as he rolls himself into the ring. Slim stands Gerard up and takes a shot to the chin from Gerard and the knuckles. The ref spots them and calls for the bell, DQing the champ who then works Slim over with a series of rights and lefts with the brass knuckles. Pyro takes the TV title belt and shoves it in Slim's face, telling him that's as close as he is going to get to it. Pyro and Gerard then leave a bloodied and out cold Slim in the middle of the ring, both men smiling as the crowd boos.
Henry Lesher - Slim won the match there, but it was Gerard that sent the message.
Ricky Simms - This fight isn't anywhere near over here.
Henry Lesher - If Slim is smart, he'll skulk away and retire.
Backstage we see Shelia Lavin with Ray Dees.
Ray Dees - Okay, so I can't have your number, but can I see your.... *spots the camera* Oh hey! We're on. Now, Miss Lavin, we want your opinion on what we just saw in the ring.
Shelia Lavin - There is no shortage of wrestlers who live above the law in the GWO. That has to change. Gerard Angelo and Pyro might think they're smart, but next week they'll wonder how smart they really are when they tag together to face Slim Pickens and Hellfire Jack in a steel cage.
Ray Dees - That's quite the announcement. Now, back to my other question...
Shelia lands a right hook that Ray never sees coming and she steps over the fallen Ray on her way into her office. We then head back to the ring.
Rated R vs Radd Matthews
As Slim Pickens is helped up by EMTs, we see Rated R making his way to the ring minus the entrance music. He hasn't been announced either. Rated R watches as they pull Slim from the ring, then clubs Slim in the head with his Pacific title belt. He then picks Slim up and drops him face first on the steel steps much the same as he did to Kosmic Kitty last week. He shudders as he smiles and rolls himself into the ring.
Ricky Simms - This man is sick.
Henry Lesher - This man was always sick. You people were just too stupid to see the truth.
As Rated R stands in the ring and smiles at Slim being pulled to the back, Radd Matthews enters the ring behind him and gives him a clothesline to the back of the neck before laying the boots to him as the bell sounds to start the match. Radd Matthews stands Rated R up and headbutts him into the ropes. He then places Rated R's throat over the top rope and chokes him with it while kicks him in the gut and screaming at him. Radd then hip tosses Rated R over the top rope to the floor and Rated R starts looking to make a getaway here from this match. Radd heads out after him and chops blocks him to the floor. He then picks Rated R up over his shoulder and runs him head first into the steel corner post.
Ricky Simms - Brutality on the part of Radd Matthews here as he appears to be set to come through on his vow against Rated R.
Henry Lesher - If injuring his girlfriend helps him fight like this, someone should go and pay her a visit in the hospital.
Ricky Simms - You're sicker than he is.
Radd Matthews rolls the bloodied Rated R into the ring and then reaches under the apron and pulls out a table. He rolls into the ring to break up the count and then rolls back out to starts setting up the table. The crowd cheers as Radd sets it just right and then rolls himself into the ring. He lands a series of punches to the bloodied forehead of Rated R before whipping him off the ropes and backdropping Rated R over the top rope and then through the table as the crowd cheers. Radd Matthews then heads out of the ring and grabs Rated R by the hair and pulls him to his feet. Rated R thumbs Radd in the eye, then whips him towards the steel ring steps that Radd hits hard with his right shoulder. Rated R then hammerlocks Radd and slams his shoulder into the steel corner post. Rated R then picks Radd up over the steel ring steps, but Radd battles out of that and DDTs Rated R on the floor as the crowd again cheers.
Ricky Simms - This match is the most brutal of the night so far.
Henry Lesher - And so it should be. Hatred is a beautiful thing.
Radd Matthews rolls Rated R into the ring before pulling himself into the ring. Radd then stands rated R up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him to the mat. Radd then looks to the crowd and lets out a scream. He then pulls Rated R to his feet, whips him hard into the corner buckle and charges in for a shoulder block only to find no one home and Radd's right shoulder hits the steel corner post yet again. Rated R then headlocks Radd and bulldogs him to the mat. Rated R then two handed chokes Radd while telling him to get ready to join his girlfriend. Rated R then releases the choke, stands Radd up and whips him hard into the corner buckle and tells the crowd to get ready for the Restricted. Radd turns, thumbs Rated R in the eye and then clotheslines him over the top rope to the floor. Radd then climbs the ropes to the top and dives off, landing a flying cross body on Rated R from there and onto the floor. Radd then pulls Rated R to his feet and rolls him into the ring. Radd then reaches under the ring and pulls out a two by four. Radd then rolls into the ring with the weapon in hand.
Ricky Simms - Don't do it, Radd!
Henry Lesher - Do it! Prove you're a man!
Radd slams the two by four across the back of Rated R and it breaks as the ref calls for the bell. Radd then takes the broken pieces and clubs Rated R across the back with them. The ref tries to pull Radd off and takes a shot to the head with a piece of two by four. We then see security coming out from the back as Radd continues to beat down Rated R, not concerned at all with the title he just cost himself.
Ricky Simms - Radd has snapped.
Henry Lesher - This is fun to watch.
Security guards pull Radd Matthews off of Rated R, Radd clubbing a few of them in the face for good measure. He is pulled from his feet and then out of the ring as Rated R is attended to in the middle of the ring, this war far from over here. Radd retreats to the back and holds his hands high and screams as the fans cheer him on.
Henry Lesher - The idiots cheer when he does it, but when Ryan does it it's a crime.
Ricky Simms - This war is not over, not by a long shot.
Backstage we see Leech and Moose leaving the arena with the same smiles on their faces now that they were wearing when they entered the arena tonight. They area headed off by Shannon Skanes and Wyatt Gibson.
Shannon Skanes - You guys look like the cats that ate the damned canaries.
Leech - Piss off, boss.
Shannon Skanes - Yeah, love you too. You know, I took pride in ending you, Leech. I really did. Now you're screwing around and back in the title picture? Not on my watch.
The Moose - What the hell are you going to do about it?
Shannon Skanes - Looks to me that the tag title match needs a ref and I qualify for that job.
Leech - No way. We get title shots, no questions asked.
Shannon Skanes - Yeah you guys get title shots, but next week you two face myself and Wyatt here. Your title shots are in two weeks and next week will be hell for you two in order to get to them.
The Moose - Nothing is going to stop us. *holds the Commonwealth title in Shannon's face* You may have bought the company, but we still own these belts.
Shannon Skanes - Yeah for what they're worth.
As Shannon walks away and Moose and Leech exit the arena, we see a very upset looking Hellfire Jack watching all of this. He pauses for a few moments before he exits as well.
Myst vs Devo vs Max Cameron
Air raid sirens blast as Suende walks out in front of Devo on his way to the ring. Devo steps onto the apron and into the ring and grabs the microphone from ring announcer Shelley Morris.
Devo - Tonight I am resigning from the Parish. They have done nothing for me, therefore I no longer do anything for them.
Devo tosses the microphone aside as "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays and out comes Max Cameron with Maxine leading the way. She tells the camera that she is here to watch her man finally become the GWO champion. Max is given a reception no warmer than that which Devo got when he stepped into the ring. Max makes his way up the ring steps and tells the ref to make Devo back off before he steps through the ropes into the ring. Devo and Max stand nose to nose as we hear "Enemy" by Sevendust and Myst comes out to a huge ovation from the crowd. Myst makes her way to the ring with a look of pure hatred in her eyes. She slides into the ring and the bell sounds as all three wrestlers finally let loose on each other. Myst pulls the feet out from under Max and Devo puts the boots to Max as Myst places him in a figure four leglock. Devo then boots Myst in the head and rolls her out of the ring before standing Max Cameron up and whipping him into the corner buckle where he delivers a spear in the corner. Devo then gives Max a German suplex to the center of the ring and holds his shoulders down for the pin. 1...2... Max Cameron kicks out.
Ricky Simms - Devo announces he has left The Parish. Myst and Max meet for the first time since she tried to end his career. This should be brutal.
Henry Lesher - How can they have a world title when they have never been outside two provinces and one state? That hardly makes anyone worthy of being a world champion.
Ricky Simms - There are plenty of top notch wrestlers here and the world title shall go to the best of them tonight, barring any interference.
Devo stands Max up as Myst pulls herself back inside the ring. Devo places Max into a full Nelson. Myst gets up behind Devo, then dropkicks him in the back. Max does a faceplant on the mat with Devo landing on top of him. Myst then rolls Devo out of the ring and puts the boots to Max, telling him he was better off staying out of the ring. Devo gets to his feet outside the ring and then pulls himself back inside the ring. Devo then kicks Myst in the back of the knee and then gives her a reverse DDT to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Myst gets a foot on the bottom rope to keep herself in the match. Devo stands Myst up as Max rolls himself out of the ring to gather his strength. Devo whips Myst off the ropes and gives her a clothesline to the mat. He then grabs her by the hair, shaking his head and telling her that she should have left it well enough alone. Devo then picks her up and power slams her to the mat. He then comes off the ropes and lands a knee drop to the forehead of Myst as Max grabs the ropes and pulls himself back inside the ring. Max kicks Devo in the chin, then shoves him to the mat. He then knee drops Myst in the forehead and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Myst. Max stands Myst up, whips her off the ropes and drops his head for a backdrop. Myst kicks Max in the face, then headbutts him to the mat. Devo gets to his feet and lands a knee to the kidney of Myst and gives her a DDT to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Max breaks up the count.
Henry Lesher - Stupid Max. Let Devo have the title! Just no Myst! I cannot stand Myst!
Ricky Simms - Always impartial to the very end.
Max stands Devo up, the two start exchanging rights and lefts to the head and then headbutt each other backwards a few steps. They then boot each other in the gut and are both doubled over as Myst gets to her feet. She does a standing somersault and her legs catch each of them across the back of the neck and they both fall face first to the match which brings the crowd to its feet. Myst chooses to go for the pin on Max. 1...2... Devo breaks it up. Devo then pulls Myst to her feet and whips her off the ropes and then backdrops her over the top rope to the floor. Devo smiles as he heads outside the ring after her. He grabs her by the hair again and slams her face into the announce table. He lays her out on the announce table and two handed chokes her there. He then heads onto the apron and dives off for a flying headbutt that misses when Myst rolls herself off the table. Devo lies in the middle of what's left of the announce table.
Henry Lesher - We really need a Spanish version of that table.
Myst then rolls herself into the ring where she meets with a double axe handle across the back from Max Cameron. Max then stands her up and gives her a snap suplex to the mat. He follows that up by standing her up and then giving her a fallaway slam to the mat and Max goes for the pin. 1...2.... Myst gets her foot on the bottom rope, again showing good ring sense here in this match. Max slams his fists on the mat as he stands her up, then whips her off the ropes. Myst holds the ropes and watches Max dropkick air. She then starts for Max, but she is stopped as Devo grabs her feet and pulls her down hard to the mat and drags her out of the ring. Devo whips Myst into the steel corner post shoulder first. Devo rolls himself into the ring and gets into an exchange of punches with Max Cameron as Myst struggles to pull herself into the ring.
Ricky Simms - A lot of high impact moves here as no one leaves this match to chance.
Henry Lesher - Well they are battling to prove themselves the world best in two states and two provinces. That's high praise indeed.
Devo and Max trade knife edge chops. Devo thumbs Max in the eye and whips him over the top rope. Myst then chop blocks Devo to the mat and slaps on the Mystifyer. The crowd cheers as Myst struggles to hold Devo and force the submission. Max rolls himself into the ring and pulls Myst by the hair off of Devo to prevent her from becoming the champion. Max then stands Myst up and delivers a Rock Bottom on her and goes for the pin. 1...2... Devo pulls Max off of Myst and then sends him through the ropes to the floor. Devo stands Myst up, sets her for and delivers a pedigree and rolls her over for the pin. 1...2... Myst rolls a shoulder out as Devo argues with the ref that should have been a three count. Max gets to his feet and starts into the ring, but Devo baseball slides under the bottom rope, drilling a kick into the jaw of Max Cameron. Devo then heads out of the ring and scissor kicks the fallen Max to the back of the neck. Devo then rolls Max into the ring and pulls himself part way in only to have Myst guillotine Devo off the middle rope to the floor outside the ring. Myst then turns to Max, stands him up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him to the mat. Myst then heads to the ropes and lionsaults onto Max and then stands and does a standing somersault into a body press on Max and then tries for the pin. 1...2... Devo pulls Myst off of Max as the crowd groans, certain that was going to spell the end of the match.
Ricky Simms - I'm with the fans on that one. That should have been the end and Devo spoiled it.
Henry Lesher - Devo is the only man in the match. He should win it against these two idiots.
Devo headbutts Myst, then rolls himself into the ring and goes for the pin on Max. 1...2... Max reverses the pin into a small package. 1...2... Devo kicks out. Max heads out of the ring with Devo close behind. Myst rolls herself into the ring as the crowd starts a chant for her. Devo grabs Max by the hair and headbutts him. Max responds with an eye gouge on Devo. Myst then springboards onto the top rope and leaps off, landing a flying body press on both Devo and Max at ringside. Myst then rolls Devo back into the ring and puts the boots to max a few times before she enters the ring. She finds Devo on his feet and he knee lifts Myst in the gut a few times and then gives her a gutwrench suplex to the mat. Devo then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Myst.
Henry Lesher - Now that was supposed to end the match right there.
Devo stands Myst up, lands a series of knife edge chops to the throat on her, then monkey flips her into the corner where her head slams into the corner buckle. Max pulls himself into the ring and elbows Devo in the back, then gives him a spinning neckbreaker to the mat. Max tries for the pin. 1...2... Myst breaks it up with a kick to the head of Max. Myst stands Max up, whips him into the corner and backdrops him onto Devo. Myst then does a standing somersault onto Max which has an impact on Devo at the bottom as well. Myst then stands Max up, snap mares him to the mat and then comes off the ropes and dropkicks him in the back of the neck. Myst then stands Max up and whips him over the top rope with a hip toss. Myst then slaps Devo into the Mystifyer again. The crowd is on their feet as Myst locks it in and the ref checks for a submission. Max gets to his feet and slides into the ring as Devo battles to try and reach the ropes. Max goes for a leg drop and Myst rolls out of the way, the leg drop landing on Devo instead of Myst. Myst then tosses Max out of the ring again and then rolls Devo over for the pin. 1...2...3! Myst is the world champ and the crowd is on their feet!
Henry Lesher - No justice! No justice!
Ricky Simms - The crowd has exploded here as Myst has become the GWO champion!
From the back we see Ronald McDonald and Grimace on their way to the ring with the GWO World championship belt, sponsored by McDonald's. The crowd cheers Ronald and Grimace as they high five fans on their way into the ring.
Henry Lesher - This proves what a joke this title is.
Ricky Simms - I think it's cute.
Henry Lesher - Cute has no place in wrestling.
Ronald hands the title belt to Myst and the crowd cheers as she holds the belt high. Ronald then turns to Grimace and nods and the two of them attack the new champion from behind, throwing her through the ropes to the floor. The Grimace head comes off to reveal Moose under there and a Ronald mask is removed to reveal Leech under there, Leech with a microphone.
Leech - There's your champ and bitch of a wife, boss! This is what happens when you challenge us!
Leech throws the microphone down and heads outside the ring with Moose. Moose picks up a chair and crowns Myst with it as Leech puts the boots to her. We then see Shannon Skanes and Wyatt Gibson charging out to make the save as Leech and Moose leaves through the crowd, the damage already having been done. Shannon attends to Myst as Wyatt considers going after them.
Henry Lesher - Leave it to that wonderful man to put a smile on my face.
Ricky Simms - As we close our show, Myst is the champ, but she paid a terrible price for that victory. It appears business between Leech and Shannon is far from finished.
Henry Lesher - This history goes back many, many months Rick. I love it.
Ricky Simms - You would. Well, we'll be looking forward to seeing next week's Overdrive to see how this mess plays out. Tune in then! Thanks for watching Security Breach!
Myst finally gets to her feet and the crowd cheers her on as she holds her new belt high. Wyatt and Shannon help her to the back as the crowd chants her name and we fade to the GWO logo.
