Atlanta, GA
It's a capacity crowd as we get set for another exciting edition of Insurgence. We hear "Gold Dust Woman" by Hole and see Kelly Buchanan making her way towards the ring.
Ricky Simms - This is odd. We were supposed to start the show with a segment and yet here comes Kelly.
Henry Lesher - This doesn't bode well for this show.
Kelly is half way to the ring when Pyro attacks her from behind with a chop block to take the feet out from under her. He then pulls her by her hair to ringside and then rolls her into the ring. Pyro rolls himself into the ring and smiles as the bell sounds to get things started.
Pyro vs Kelly Buchanan
Pyro stands Kelly up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a big boot to the face and then a knee to the forehead. Pyro goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kelly Buchanan. Pyro slaps the mat and shows three fingers to referee Steve Blake. Blake shakes his head and holds up two. Pyro mumbles to himself as he stands Kelly up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a clothesline down to the mat. Pyro then goes to the nearest corner and climbs to the second rope. He waits for Kelly to stand and face him and then lands a clothesline on her from there. Pyro then stands over her and smiles while the crowd starts a chant for her.
Henry Lesher - You have to feel sorry for fans at moments like this. Kelly has zero chance and they are still trying to believe in her.
Ricky Simms - It has been proven anyone on this roster can score an upset on any given week.
Henry Lesher - Not a former Glamour Girl. That was the worst stable in history and I saw the New Blood.
Pyro stands Kelly up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a clothesline in the corner. He follows that up with a knee to the chest on Kelly and again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kelly Buchanan. Pyro shakes his head as he again pulls her to her feet. He whips her into the corner buckle and goes for a shoulder block from there, but Kelly steps out of the way and then gives Pyro a series of knife edge chops to the chest that send him reeling to the center of the ring. Kelly then grabs his feet, pulls him down to the mat and goes for a sharpshooter, but she is unable to turn Pyro over. Pyro then rolls onto his back and violently kicks her into the corner.
Henry Lesher - That five seconds of offence means she is done for the night.
Ricky Simms - Good to see the objectivity is alive and well from the good doc.
Pyro gets to his feet and grabs Kelly by the hair. She drops and lands a jawbreaker on Pyro. He falls back into the corner buckle. Kelly then lands a handspring back elbow to the jaw on Pyro before headlocking him and then she gives him a DDT to the mat before she goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Kelly then goes to the ropes and makes her way quickly to the top. She poses once there for the fans and then leaps off for a flying elbow only to find no one home as Pyro sits up and moves out of the way. Pyro then grabs Kelly around the throat and pulls her to her feet. Kelly knows the choke slam is coming, so she thumbs Pyro in the eye and then dives out of the ring to the floor. Pyro shakes this off and looks enraged, rolling out of the ring after his prey. He grabs an audio cable and starts strangling her with it. Inside the ring, Steve Blake warns Pyro to release her or risk a disqualification. Pyro refuses to release her and the referee is forced to call for the bell.
Ricky Simms - Pyro got himself disqualified.
Henry Lesher - Yes, but he appears to be killing Buchanan, so that makes up for it.
Pyro maintains his choke on Kelly while the bell rings repeatedly. The crowd then cheers as we see a group of four women rushing to ringside. Kathy Smith is leading the way with a chair in hand and clubs Pyro across the skull with it while the other girls pull Kelly from his grasp. They then all enter the ring and surround Kelly.
Henry Lesher - Oh no....
Ricky Simms - Let's see now. That's Corina, Kathy, Ophelia, Chastity and Kelly Buchanan.
Henry Lesher - GWO's original Spirit Squad...
Ricky Simms - It appears they may have reunited.
Henry Lesher - There's not enough liquor to make this pain go away. It's a black day in wrestling.
The crowd cheers the reunited
Glamour Girls as we head backstage and see
Tommy Purr slipping on his
wrestling boots in his
dressing room when Reverend Darius walks in.
Tommy Purr: Uh, thanks for knocking, Padre.
Darius: Thomas, have you thought about my offer? Have you thought about reaching
out for the guidance and help your eternal soul so desperately desires?
Tommy Purr: You know what, Darius … as far as I’m concerned, you can take your
offer and shove it up your ass.
Tommy finishes tightening his boots.
Tommy Purr: Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a match to attend to …
Tommy goes to walk off, but Darius grabs his arm.
Darius: I’m warning you, Thomas … LET me help you, allow me to try and make this
easier for you.
Tommy rudely pushes Darius back.
Tommy Purr: It’s going to be pretty hard for you to make things easier for
anyone when I break your legs for touching me ever again … I don’t want
your help, nor do I need any kind of help, so just mind your own business
and stay out of my face.
Tommy storms out of his dressing room, more annoyed than anything, as Darius
sneers.
Darius: You’ll be so sorry …

"Southtown" by POD plays as 6Pac makes his way towards the ring. The crowd gives him a warm response as he makes his way down the aisle. 6Pac then stops at ringside and looks around for a few moments before he then makes his way up the ring steps and then steps into the ring. He tests the ropes and waits while his music fades out. We then hear "The Enemy" by Godsmack and Wren SilverPhoenix comes out to a less warm reaction, though it is rather mixed. Wren races to the ring, slips in under the bottom rope and the bell sounds while 6Pac puts the boots to Wren. Wren stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him to the mat. Wren then quickly stands 6Pac up, whips him into the corner and then backdrops him back to the middle of the ring.
Ricky Simms - Fast pace to start this one.
Henry Lesher - Good, get it over with.
Wren applies a full Nelson on 6Pac who then quickly hooks the bottom rope with his right foot. Referee Joe Davidson then forces the break. Wren stands 6Pac releases the hold and gives 6Pac a knee to the spine. Wren then stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and 6Pac ducks a clothesline and then gives her a reverse neck breaker to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Wren. 6Pac then quickly gets to his feet and boot chokes Wren, using the ropes for added leverage. 6Pac then releases it before the referee can reach the five count, then stands Wren up, whips her into the corner buckle and gives her a fireman's carry into a slam from there before he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Wren.
Ricky Simms - The action is really going back and forth here.
Henry Lesher - Yeah, I'm not sure which one of them is worse either.
6Pac then stands Wren up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a dropkick to the mat as we see FUBAR making his way down the aisle. The crowd boos him, but he pays them no mind. 6Pac stands Wren up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a backdrop to the mat. He then notices FUBAR at ringside and has a few words for him. He leans through the ropes and spits in FUBAR'S face. 6Pac then turns back to Wren, take an eye gouge from her and then delivers the SilverSpike before going for the pin. 1...2...3! Wren SilverPhoenix gets the win this week.
Ricky Simms - FUBAR cost 6Pac that one.
Henry Lesher - No, the fact 6Pac sucks cost him that one.
Wren exits the ring and starts for the back while FUBAR slips into the ring with a chair in hand. He gives 6Pac a series of shots across the back with the chair and then tosses it down onto the mat and smiles before he then slinks out of the ring towards the back. We then look backstage where we see Rated R entering the arena. He is headed off by Ray Dees.
Ray Dees - Rated R, world champion of AW.
Rated R - What do you want?
Ray Dees - Well, since you're Ryan and that makes you Rated R, I was wondering if I could manage you and we could be R Squared. I have some T-shirts in my van and...
Rated R - That's not going to happen. What else did you want to ask me about?
Ray Dees - Tonight you are in a handicap match against the former tag team champions, a move that seems intent on wearing you down going into the double pay per view weekend.
Rated R - Ray, they have been trying to wear me down every week. I still have the title. Tonight I will come through this match and, as I always do, pass the test. June 4th, I will retain the title against Gerard and it will all start over again.
Ray Dees - Well, best of luck.
Rated R - Don't need it.
Ryan then moves on and we head back to the ring.
Max Cameron vs Bombshell
"Hell's Bells" by AC/DC plays as Max Cameron makes his way towards the ring. He gets the standard mixed reaction and high fives a few appreciative fans at ringside before he makes his way up the ring steps and stands on the apron. He then steps through the ropes and into the ring. He then has a few words with referee Francis Clarke while his music fades out and we hear "I Am the Body Beautiful" by Salt N Pepa which marks the entrance of Bombshell. She hears boos and a few catcalls from the crowd. She tells the camera she is here to strip Max of his self confidence before she'll strip Hoshi of her dignity in two weeks.
Ricky Simms - Things are really heating up between Hoshi and Bombshell leading into a fight between them at BiTCHSLAP.
Henry Lesher - I plan to kill myself before watching that match.
Bombshell steps up onto the apron and has a few words for Max. Max then clotheslines her right off the apron and down to the floor. He then steps out onto the apron and gives her a scissor kick across the back of the neck from there, sending her face first to the thin mats covering the concrete floor. Max then picks Bombshell up and gives her a power slam onto the floor. He then picks her up and slides her under the bottom rope into the ring. Max then rolls himself into the ring while a very upset looking Gerard Angelo storms out from the back just as the bell sounds to make this match official.
Ricky Simms - Looks like Gerry is taking exception to the way Max is treating his fiancé.
Henry Lesher - I would take exception to being her fiancé myself.
Max stands Bombshell up, whips her into the corner and then gives her a series of kicks to the ribs. He then gives her a snap mare back to the middle of the ring. Max then applies a sleeper hold and then spots Gerard at ringside. Max shouts something at Gerard who shouts something back towards Max. Referee Francis Clarke checks on the fading Bombshell. He raises her arm once and it drops. He raises it a second time and it drops. He raises it a third time, but she manages to keep her arm raised and the match continues. Bombshell starts trying to get to her feet and then lunges and manages to grab the bottom rope to force the break. Max shouts something towards Gerard as he then whips Bombshell off the ropes and gives her a knee to the gut, sending her through the air and crashing to the mat, landing on her tailbone. Max then stands her up, picks her up and delivers an atomic drop on Bombshell. Max then whips her into the corner and charges in only to take raised knees to the chest. Bombshell then quickly jumps to the second rope and lands a dropkick to the chest on Max that sends him down to the mat.
Ricky Simms - Bombshell fighting back here.
Henry Lesher - That's because Max can't keep a woman down. He does a fine job keeping himself down, though.
Bombshell stands Max up, whips him into the corner and then gives him a round house kick to the chest before she gives him a monkey flip back to the middle of the ring. Gerard is seen applauding at ringside as Bombshell then climbs the ropes in the corner. Bombshell dives from the top and Max rolls out of the way of a knee drop. Max then uses the ropes to quickly get to his feet and then pulls himself onto the ropes. Bombshell gets to her feet and turns and takes a dropkick to the chest from Max. Gerard jumps onto the apron as Max stands Bombshell up. Max whips Bombshell off the ropes and she ducks a clothesline, but then she collides with Gerard who is then knocked off the apron. Max then gives Bombshell a knee to the gut and then picks her up and gives her a power bomb to the mat before he goes for the pin.. 1...2...3! Max scores the win over Bombshell.
Ricky Simms - Well, that backfired on Gerry.
Henry Lesher - No one cares, you know.
Max exits the ring and starts for the back only to be attacked by Gerard. Security then rushes out to break things up as we head backstage. We see Shannon Skanes with his arm around Myst's shoulder when Ingee Shmelky makes his way into the scene.
Ingee Shmelky - Am I in the Terror in the Aisles show?
Shannon Skanes - Ummm, seems an odd time to ask me, Ingee. Shouldn't you be interviewing me?
Ingee Shmelky - Okay, well, what's going to happen June third?
Shannon Skanes - My guess is that the sun will come up, people will be born and die and it will be the same as any other day. Well, the exception being the return of the CWA.
Ingee Shmelky - What a night that will be!
Myst - Of course, the moment Shannon became half owner here AW became part CWA, but people tend to forget that.
Ingee Shmelky - I liked wrestling in the CWA.
Shannon Skanes - I thought you blacked most of that out from a concussion.
Ingee Shmelky - Yeah, that's why I liked it. If I don't remember, I don't feel pain.
Shannon Skanes - Are you okay?
Ingee Shmelky - I wanted to be a gardener once.
Myst - Are you losing it?
Ingee Shmelky - I remember when I was in space, eating chips near the ant colony.
Shannon Skanes - That was Homer Simpson.
Ingee goes into a daze and doesn't respond. Shannon snaps his fingers and waves his hand in front of Ingee and then then leave him there, a prisoner to his thoughts.
Darren Romeo vs D.I.C.K.
"Tear In My Beer" by Hank Williams Sr. starts to play as Dwayne Kingston comes out from the back, this time by himself as opposed to having the lawyer with him. He tips his hat towards the camera and we see the Kingston fact of the week. "DICK's presence has been known to enrich uranium." Kingston reaches ringside and then jumps up onto the apron. He steps into the ring and throws his cowboy hat into the air before almost throwing a punch at referee Steve Blake. He tells Steve he could have killed him and then Kingston takes a seat in the corner on the top rope.
Ricky Simms - No lack of ego where Kingston's involved.
Henry Lesher - He is the greatest force in this business today.
"Vicarious" by Tool starts to play as Darren Romeo comes out to a mixed response. He makes his way to the ring quickly and wastes no time in pulling himself onto the apron where Kingston takes a swing at him. Darren ducks that, shoulder blocks Kingston through the ropes and then gives him a vertical suplex from the ring out to the floor, both men crashing onto it and lying there motionless for a few moments while the crowd cheers.
Ricky Simms - Romeo showing the AW faithful how tough he is with that one.
Henry Lesher - Or how stupid he is. It's one or the other.
Darren Romeo gets to his feet and starts putting the boots to Kingston. He then stands Dwayne Kingston up, goes for the whip into the steel ring steps and Kingston manages to reverse it, sending Romeo shoulder first into the steps. Kingston then gives Romeo a German suplex onto the floor. Kingston then gets to his feet and rolls himself into the ring while Romeo slowly gets to his feet. Romeo then grabs the bottom rope and pulls himself into the ring as well. The bell finally sounds to put this match into the books with Kingston landing a series of shots to the skull on Romeo. Romeo fights back with an elbow to the throat on Kingston and then rakes his eyes along the top rope. Romeo then gives Kingston a side suplex to the mat and then goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Dwayne Kingston. Romeo then stands him up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as Kingston ducks it and then gives Romeo a reverse neck breaker. Kingston then stands Romeo up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him to the mat.
Ricky Simms - Very good action so far here.
Henry Lesher - Kingston always makes action best.
Kingston then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. He then poses there for the crowd and then dives off for a leg drop across the chest of Darren Romeo and it hits its mark before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Romeo and Kingston shakes his head. Kingston then stands Romeo up, whips him into the corner buckle and then goes for a shoulder block there only to have Darren steps out of the way. Romeo then drops and rolls out of the ring to the floor with Kingston close behind. Romeo picks up a folding chair, dumping the timekeeper to the floor in the process. He folds the chair, turns and drills Kingston in the forehead with it, causing the referee to call for the bell.
Ricky Simms - Darren Romeo gets disqualified here.
Henry Lesher - He should be allowed to do that, you know. Rules are for idiots.
Romep hears the decision and throws the chair in the direction of the ring in frustration. He then starts for the backstage area and we follow him. Leech is waiting on the other side.
Leech - What the hell happened?
Darren Romeo - Damned if I know. I hit the guy with a chair and they call for the bell.
Leech - Wow, some kind of company they run here. It's no wonder so many people keep leaving.
Darren Romeo - I mean, it's not like I killed him or anything.
They then walk off debating tonight's events while we head back to the ring.
Rated R vs Total Darkness
"I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace plays as Rated R comes out to the loudest ovation of the night. He then starts for the ring only to be attacked from behind by both Black Lightning and FUBAR who pick the champ up and drop him across the railing, catching his throat on the steel. They then take a leg each and pull Rated R to ringside. FUBAR then stands Rated R up and Black Lightning gives him a super kick to the chin that sends him back down to the floor. They then pull themselves onto the apron and bow before the booing crowd.
Ricky Simms - That's pretty typical of them.
Henry Lesher - True, but they still suck.
The former AW tag team champions step through the ropes into the ring. Rated R slowly pulls himself to his feet with referee Bruce Miller rolling out to the floor to check on him. Rated R says he's fine and then pulls himself onto the apron. He steps through the ropes and Bruce Miller calls for the bell to get the action started. FUBAR greets Rated R with a series of knife edge chops to the chest while Black Lightning takes his place on the apron in their corner. FUBAR whips Rated R off the ropes and leap frogs him, then gives him an arm drag to the mat. FUBAR then applies an arm bar on the AW champion while the crowd starts a chant for him.
Ricky Simms - Ryan's got the deck stacked against him tonight.
Henry Lesher - It doesn't matter. It's not like he's fighting a great tag team like Reality, or SLHK, or Full House. It's Total Darkness.
Rated R gets to his feet and reverses the arm bar, then gives FUBAR a clothesline to the mat. Rated R then falls into the ropes and tries to gather his strength while the crowd continues to chant his name. Rated R then stands FUBAR up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a head butt that drops him to the mat before giving him an elbow smash across the throat. Rated R then goes for an STF on FUBAR, but Black Lightning charges into the ring and kicks Rated R in the head to break that up. Referee Bruce Miller then tells Lightning to get out of the ring and Lightning has a few words for him.
Ricky Simms - Lightning had better be careful here. Bruce is a CWA legend.
Henry Lesher - Yes and then he became a BLPW jobber. That shows what CWA legends are worth.
Lightning shoves Bruce Miller. Miller wags a finger at him and then turns his back. Lightning clotheslines Bruce Miller face first to the mat while we see 6Pac Dudley racing towards the ring. He slides into the ring and DDTs FUBAR to the mat and then clotheslines Lightning over the top rope and out to the floor. Rated R then goes for the pin on FUBAR while 6Pac rolls himself out of the ring. Bruce Miller counts the pin. 1...2...3! Rated R wins the match.
Ricky Simms - 6Pac sending a message to Total Darkness in reply to what FUBAR did earlier tonight.
Henry Lesher - Ryan needs help beating these guys? How the mighty have fallen. This is a sad day indeed.
Backstage we see Frank Merritt entering the arena only to be headed off by Noah Skanes.
Noah Skanes - I don't remember you being invited to the show.
Frank Merritt - Kid, I don't need an invitation. I am here because you need me. I am here because AW is a dying company.
Noah Skanes - Backdraft was the best buy rate this place has seen.
Frank Merritt - Doesn't mean this company is any good.
Noah Skanes - Then why come here?
Frank Merritt - That's my business. You just watch when I take this place to new heights.
Frank pushes his way passed Noah who just shakes his head and sighs.
The Freak, Himself vs Yakamoto Takashi

Takashi backs off a step and then gives Freak a thunderous karate chop to the chest and then head butts him right through the ropes and out to the floor.
Ricky Simms - Takashi showing off his power here tonight.
Henry Lesher - Well, Freak is pretty small in comparison with this guy.
Takashi watches as Freak gets to his feet and then pulls a table out from under the ring. He starts to set it up, stops and looks at the crowd and then leaves the table half set up and then pulls himself onto the apron where Takashi goes for a clothesline that Freak ducks. Freak then leaps over the top rope and starts landing rights and lefts to the chin on Takashi. Freak then whips Takashi into the corner and then lands an avalanche on the sumo wrestler in the corner. Freak then rolls himself out of the ring and picks up a chair left on the floor from an earlier fight. He looks at it, looks at Takashi and then tosses the chair aside.
Ricky Simms - Freak seems to be battling himself this week.
Henry Lesher - Maybe that's the only way he'll get a win.
Freak then rolls himself back into the ring where Takashi gives him a series of kicks to the head. Takashi then stands Freak up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a shoulder block to the mat. Takashi then lands a splash onto Freak and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Freak. Ray Dees - Thibor, we haven't see you in a long time. Why are you here?
Thibor Dragosani - I came to this company a number of months back as a student of both Scavenger and Vesuvius before injuring myself to the point of needing surgery. Well folks….I’m back and better than ever! That’s right you redneck, gap-toothed bumpkins should feel honored to be in the presence of the future Xtreme Champion! Pyro! I know you’re watching! Unless Management deems otherwise, I want you in that ring next week!
Ray Dees - So you want that next week?
Thibor Dragosani - Ray, next week I remind AW why I was on my way to the top. Next week, Pyro's title reign will come to an end.
Ray Dees - You know he has a match scheduled for BiTCHSLAP with Max Cameron and Wren, right?
Thibor Dragosani - The event is called that? I'm out of it for awhile and this place turns to shit.
Thibor heads off and we see Zek waiting for him down the hallway. Ray shrugs towards the camera.
Ray Dees - There you have it. Thibor wants Pyro next week.

Bullrush then climbs over the railing and starts landing double axe handle smashes across the back of Maybon. He then dumps Maybon back to ringside.
Ricky Simms - This isn't looking like a strong technical match.

Maybon then quickly gets to his feet and nods his head. We then see Trinity Holmes making her way down the aisle. The crowd greets her with a standard nasty reaction. As she reaches ringside, Maybon spots her. He lunges at her. Trinity steps back and avoids a punch from Maybon.
Ricky Simms - You never face one member of the SEX team.
Henry Lesher - SEX team? I can't believe you said that.

Ricky Simms - I'm sure they'll be glad to hear that.
As Bullrush exits the ring and shares an embrace with Trinity before they head towards the back, we look backstage where Vesuvius is with Xandra, a smile on his face.
Vesuvius - Xandra, with your husband gone, you're vulnerable to me.
Xandra - Screw you.
Vesuvius - Oh we already played that game, X. You lost.
Xandra - Funny, I could have sworn you were the loser.
Vesuvius - Maybe you and I need to finish this?
Xandra - Go to hell.
Vesuvius - No, see you signed an AW contract. You belong to me. Next week, you square off against me in that ring.
Xandra - *pauses* The only way that works.... is if I name the referee.
Vesuvius - *laughs* You're on. No referee in the world will save you from me.
He turns and walks away and Sybal enters the picture.
Sybal - That was as easy as you said it would be.
Xandra - Vesuvius is nothing if not predictable.
The two then walk off, arm in arm and we head back to the ring.
Tommy Purr vs The Moose

The Moose comes out and the crowd gives him an even louder ovation, Moose wearing a T-shirt which proudly proclaims "I bleed CWA" in red writing on a black canvas.
Ricky Simms - The ever popular Moose on his way to the ring.
Henry Lesher - Moose is overrated. I see that now. It's so obvious.
Ricky Simms - Only to you. The guy is a legend in the CWA ranks.
Henry Lesher - I already explained how little weight that carries with me.
Moose steps up onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. The bell sounds and Moose locks up with Tommy. On the four count, Tommy kips up to his feet. On the five count, Moose wheels his legs around and trips the feet out from under Tommy before he then quickly applies a figure four leg lock from the mat. Referee Bruce Miller checks for a submission, but Tommy refuses to give up here. Tommy reaches for the ropes as the crowd starts a chant that is split between Moose and Purr. Henry Lesher - If you're a Moose fan...
Moose heads for the back while
Bruce Miller helps Tommy come to. Tommy leans on the ropes to regain his energy.
The
crowd is confused as a hooded individual, resembling a monk of sorts, rushes
over the ring barricade and slides into the ring. Tommy notices the monk, ducks
a punch, and nails the monk with a Oh La La Kick to the face as the crowd
cheers. Suddenly, another monk appears and slides into the ring, followed by two
more as they surround Tommy. Tommy tells them to bring it on and the crowd
cheers as the monks fall one by one. Tommy is on fire as the crowd goes wild …
but the cheers turn to jeers as Darius slides into the ring with a steel chair
and snaps it across Tommy’s back! Tommy falls down as the monks approach and
begin kicking him while he’s down. The crowd is booing immensely.
Ricky Simms - This is insane.
Henry Lesher - Tommy needs to get
it together and fast.
Darius barks out an order at the monks and they vacate the ring as Tommy tries
to get to his feet. The monks go backstage as Darius picks up the chair and
nails Tommy on the back again. The crowd chants “asshole, asshole” as Darius
picks up his foot and kicks Tommy in the ribs. Tommy rolls over onto his back
and Darius drives the steel chair into his gut. Tommy coughs up some blood as
Darius takes the chair and holds it against Tommy’s throat, choking him. Tommy
kicks and squirms as Darius puts the chair down finally, grabbing Tommy by the
hair and then flooring him with a DDT on the steel chair! Tommy’s forehead
is busted wide open as Darius grins sadistically. Darius motions backstage and
the monks return, carrying a large wooden cross much to the crowd’s dismay and
horror.
Ricky Simms - This is surreal.
Henry Lesher - I love Tommy and yet
this is pretty cool.
Darius grabs Tommy by the hair again and drags the bloodied cover boy out of the
ring by his scalp. The crowd is responding negatively as the monks lay the cross
down. Darius looks over to the corner of the ring, where Tommy’s whip lies.
Darius smiles to himself as he collects Tommy’s whip. Darius yells something,
causing the monks to turn Tommy over onto his back and lift up his shirt. Darius
screams “YOU DID THIS TO YOURSELF!” and snaps the whip across Tommy’s back. The
crowd is in shock as Darius whips Tommy three more times, leaving welts and
small open cuts. Tommy is then laid down on the cross, his face dripping with
blood from the DDT to the chair. The monks raise Tommy up after tying his hands
and feet to the cross and begin carrying him to the back as Darius looks on in
approval. The “clergy” takes a near-unconscious Tommy backstage.
Henry Lesher - Maybe this will get Tommy on track.
Ricky Simms - To the morgue maybe. I thought you were a Tommy a fan.
Henry Lesher - Oh I am, but I love
violence just as much. I am so torn.
Backstage Tommy, still attached to the cross, is carried out to the parking lot.
No one seems to be rushing to Tommy’s aid as he’s taken to the parking lot,
where a large white van awaits the “clergy.” Darius opens the back of the white
van and the monks place Tommy and the cross inside. Darius moves toward the
driver’s side of the van and gets in as the monks file into the back of the van.
Ricky Simms - Where the hell is he going?
Henry Lesher - I don't know if I
want to know myself.
Darius: Next week, the world sees the new and improved Thomas Purr … this is for
his own good … this is a mission to save this young man’s soul!
The van starts up and Darius peels out of the parking garage … kidnapping an
unconscious Tommy!
Ricky Simms - Tommy Purr has been kidnapped.
Henry Lesher - That was pretty cool. I hate to admit that.
Gerard Angelo vs Leech
"Ink" by Finch plays as Gerard Angelo comes out and starts for the ring. Gerard gets the usual negative reaction while Bombshell walks close behind him, a smile on her face. She waves to the camera and says she hopes Tommy has a nice ride in the van. Gerard then pulls himself onto the apron and takes a quick look around the crowd. He then steps through the ropes into the ring and his music fades. "As I Am" by Dream Theater then plays and we see Leech coming out to a loud response from the crowd, divided deeply between love and hate for this veteran superstar. Leech reaches ringside and looks into the ring at Gerard and smiles. Gerard motions him into the ring and Leech jumps onto the apron, then jumps over the top rope into the ring.
Ricky Simms - A match up we have seen before, though Gerard must be seen as the one with the upper hand here.
Henry Lesher - You think so? Gerard can hold a candle to Leech you think? That shows how little you know.
The bell sounds and Leech moves in for a lock up with Gerard only to knee him in the ribs and then he whips Leech off the ropes and follows that up with a knee to the gut and then a swinging neck breaker before Leech goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gerard Angelo. Leech stands Gerard up, whips him into the corner buckle and then charges in shoulder first only to have Gerard side step him. Gerard then gives Leech a pump handle slam to the mat and then boot chokes him, using the ropes for added leverage. Gerard smiles at the camera and tells us he is the champion now and Leech is the nobody. Gerard then stands Leech up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a series of forearm smashes to the chin, then eye gouges him before dumping him through the ropes to the floor.
Ricky Simms - Gerard taking control of the match here. I mean, he wants to send a message to Rated R about how tough he is.
Henry Lesher - If he beats Leech, he could become a God in some books. That is a big if though.
Gerard drops and rolls out of the ring to the floor. He grabs Leech by the hair and slams his head into the steel railing. He then whips Leech over the railing and into the front row of the crowd. Leech grabs two chairs from underneath fans, dumping them down to the floor. Leech, without hesitation, then slams a chair to each side of Gerard's head and the referee calls for the bell. A second member of the same stable has been disqualified tonight.
Henry Lesher - That's not a real loss.
Ricky Simms - Same as Darren Romeo earlier, Leech has been disqualified for not playing by the rules, I think Freak would have made it a hat trick, but Freak didn't have the heart to use the table or the chair.
Henry Lesher - He's less of a man then.
Leech protests the call and shakes his head before he then disappears into the crowd. We then look backstage where BasketKase is seen with Shengee Shmelky.
Shengee Shmelky - Yo yo yo! At Terror in the Aisles, this man has been challenged by Sal Clemenzo as well as Diablo! How do you answer the challenge?
BasketKase - MEAT!!!
Shengee Shmelky - Yo, check dis out. What my homey means is dat he's gonna be all over that in two weeks.
BasketKase - MEAT!!!
Shengee Shmelky - And he ain't scared of no Mob and no Satan because he has true power, yo!
BasketKase - MEAT!!!
Shengee Shmelky - And he be da true playa in da CWA. Two weeks, he shows you all. Peace out!
BasketKase - MEAT!!!
Krayne vs Trinity Holmes
"Stand Up" by Trapt plays as Trinity Holmes is walked towards the ring by both her manager Samara and Bullrush tonight. Bullrush tells the camera that revenge is sweet. He then wraps his arm around Trinity as they reach ringside. Samara takes her place at ringside and Trinity leaps onto the apron and then leaps over the top rope into the ring. She tests the ropes while her music fades and then we hear "Vinegar Stroke" by Sunk Loto and Krayne makes his way out to the cheers of the crowd. Krayne high fives fans along his way to the ring before coming face to face with Bullrush. Krayne and Bullrush have a few words and then Bullrush takes a step back. Krayne climbs the ring steps onto the apron and then steps into the ring. The bell sounds and Krayne looks at Trinity and then out at Bullrush.
Ricky Simms - You get the feeling he's fighting the numbers game this week.
Henry Lesher - You're a genius to figure that out.
Trinity moves in for the lock up with Krayne only to take a knee to the gut from Krayne followed by a head butt. Krayne then whips Trinity to the corner buckle and gives her a double under hook suplex to the middle of the ring. Krayne then gives Trinity a German suplex to the mat, stands her up and gives her a second German suplex before holding her shoulders down for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Trinity. Krayne then stands Trinity up, whips her off the ropes and clotheslines her down to the mat.Krayne then climbs the ropes in the corner and lands a flying head butt to the neck on Trinity before he again gfoes for the pin. 1...2... Trinity gets a foot on the bottom rope and the match continues.
Ricky Simms - Trinity is showing week in and week out that she is one of the toughest women seen in these parts.
Henry Lesher - That's not saying much.
Krayne stands Trinity up, whips her off the ropes and she ducks a clothesline and then gives Krayne a thumb to the eye before she then whips him shoulder first into the corner. Trinity then dropkicks Krayne in the back and sends him through the ropes and out to the floor. Bullrush moves towards Krayne, but referee Casey Braun warns him off and he backs away. Samara then tosses a hammer into the ring to Trinity and she hides it from the referee. Krayne rolls himself into the ring and Trinity catches him on the forehead with the hammer before she tosses it aside. She then shoves Krayne down to the mat and then leaps to the top rope and poses once there before she lands the Revelations on Krayne. She then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Trinity Holmes moves on to the finals!
Ricky Simms - An amazing run continues and you have to wonder if Sal or Nameless can stop her and Bullrush. Tonight her manager Samara gets involved and helps assure her the win.
Henry Lesher - Anarchy recruited Bullrush and Trinity to become champions and that is exactly what they are doing
Trinity exits the ring and starts for the back. We then look backstage where Ingee Shmelky is set to interview the returning Slim Pickens.
Ingee Shmelky - Slim, welcome back.
Slim Pickens - I have to say, it's been too damned long.
Ingee Shmelky - You've been watching tonight's show from backstage. Has anything jumped out at you?
Slim Pickens - No one can beat me, little man! Everyone knows what Slim Pickens can do and who Slim Pickens is.
Dwayne Kingston steps into the picture and looks Slim up and down.
Slim Pickens - What do you want?
Dwayne Kingston - Y'know, this is gettin' kinda rough. Every week there's a new somebody here to try an' unseat my spot and I keep movin' down. I don't move down, friend.
Slim Pickens - I'm not your friend.
Dwayne Kingston - *nods* Right, see I don't make friends. I didn't get no satisfaction from my match tonight. I got none last week, too. Now.... it's time for the wooly bully to take it to you all... startin' with you.
Kingston lands a hard right to the jaw on Slim and the fight is on. The two start brawling in the hallway while Ingee Shmelky runs for the hills. Security rushes out to break the two men up and we head back to the ring for the main event.
The Nameless vs Sal Clemenzo
"Pain Redefined" by Disturbed starts to play as The Nameless makes his way towards the ring. He gets a loud and negative reaction while Adam Lewis and Emily lead the monster towards the ring. Nameless doesn't slow his progress towards the ring, pulling himself onto the apron and then he steps over the top rope into the ring. Nameless then stands motionless in the middle of the ring as "Hall of Fear" by Nino Rota starts to play and the crowd erupts for Sal Clemenzo, led by Guido and Serena Marcelli. Guido makes his way over to Adam Lewis and they starts arguing while Sal pulls himself up onto the apron and then steps into the ring.
Ricky Simms - This should be really interesting.
Henry Lesher - I will agree with you this one time on this one match.
Sal locks up with Nameless after the bell sounds and then the two wrestle into the ropes, fighting for the early advantage. Once in the ropes, referee Steve Blake tries to break them up, but they both shove him away. Nameless then head butts Sal down to the mat and then Nameless gives Sal an eye gouge along the top rope into the corner. Nameless slams Sal's head into the corner buckle as Guido and Adam Lewis finally back away from each other to pay close attention to this match. Nameless grabs Sal Clemenzo around the throat and goes for a choke slam, but Sal eye gouges Nameless and then gives him a series of knee lifts to the ribs that break the hold. Sal then gives Nameless a drop toe hold that sends the monster face first into the corner buckle.
Ricky Simms - Nice counter there by Sal.
Henry Lesher - This is one of those matches you ruin by speaking you know.
Ricky Simms - Deal with it.
Sal then gives Nameless a Rock Bottom to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Nameless. Sal slaps the mat and has a few unkind words for the official and then stands the monster up. He whips Nameless into the corner buckle and then gives him a shoulder block in the corner. Sal then gives Nameless an inverted atomic drop that Nameless answers with a thunderous clothesline to the mat. Nameless then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal Clemenzo. Nameless stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a big boot to the chest that sends him down to the mat and then lands a leg drop across the throat of Sal. Nameless then looks outside the ring to Adam Lewis who barks orders at the monster.
Ricky Simms - It's bizarre watching a much smaller man like Adam giving Nameless orders.
Henry Lesher - I envy him so much.
Nameless stands Sal up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a drop toe hold to the mat and then he proceeds to place Sal into a camel clutch. Referee Steve Blake checks for a submission, but Sal refuses to give up. Sal starts reaching for the ropes with his feet. Outside the ring, Adam Lewis continues screaming at Nameless inside the ring. We then see Dante emerging through the crowd. He turns Adam around and Adam clocks Dante. Dante falls back and looks shocked at Adam's attack. Dante then gets to his feet quickly and regains his composure. He tells Adam they need to talk and then thumbs Adam in the eye.
Ricky Simms - Same old Dante.
Henry Lesher - I am very thankful for that.
Inside the ring, Sal manages to pull himself up to his hands and knees. Nameless releases the hold and stands Sal up. He whips Sal off the ropes and Sal ducks a clothesline and then gives The Nameless a series of punches to the mask. Sal then gives Nameless a jawbreaker while Dante steps over the guard railing and starts slapping the apron. Sal wastes no time in turning and giving Dante a kick to the face. Adam Lewis then gives Dante a fall away slam onto the floor and Sal turns and walks into a knee to the gut from Nameless that is followed by the Reaperdemption before Nameless goes for the pin. 1...2...3! The Nameless moves on to the finals!
Ricky Simms - That's a surprise to me.
Henry Lesher - The monster will be champion again. All is well in my world.
Ricky Simms - He actually thinks his world matters folks. Well, that ends another edition of Insurgence. We'll see you next week when we crown a CWA Alpha Champion as Trinity Holmes will square off against The Nameless!
Henry Lesher - That match will actually be worth watching.
We fade to black with Adam Lewis standing over Dante outside the ring and Nameless again standing motionless in the center of the ring as he did before this match began. Guido pulls Sal from the ring, shaking his head and not looking impressed. We get the feeling these two will meet again.
