Tuscon, AZ
Backstage we see Max Cameron entering the building with the world title over his shoulder. He is quickly headed off by Leech who has a chair in his hand, but doesn't swing it just yet.
Max Cameron - Well look what we have here.
Leech - You think I've been running from you?
Max Cameron - I know you have been running from me.
Leech - *laughs* You're in for a long night, Max Cameron.
Leech then turns and walks away without incident as Max looks on confused. He fully expected to be attacked before the show. With that near incident passed, we see the opening credits of the show, complete with images of Youthful Aggression, The Dying Breed, GoBoom, Myst, Sal Clemenzo and Lethal Weapon before we head to ringside where Ricky Simms is back at the side of Henry Lesher.
Henry Lesher - I knew you would be back.
Ricky Simms - There's a reason and it's going to be dealt with.
The Dawg vs Shengee Shmelky
"Blue" by Eiffel 65 plays as Shengee Shmelky comes out with Adam West leading the way. He high fives fans on his way to the ring while showing off some new gold chains he got off Ebay. Shengee then steps onto the apron and poses for the crowd. It would, of course, be more impressive if he had muscles to show off. As Shengee enters the ring, we hear "Who Let the Dawgs Out?" by Baha Men and The Dawg makes his way to the ring. He gets a more mixed reaction as the crowd has chosen to side with underdog Shengee here tonight. Dawg shakes his head as he comes down to the ring. He steps up onto the apron and then into the ring. The bell sounds and Dawg clotheslines the rapping Shengee off his feet.
Henry Lesher - Our first match together in awhile and it has to be the same crap that sent you away from me. Are you going to defend the helpless Shengee?
Ricky Simms - Look, I am not in the mood tonight. Drop it.
Henry Lesher - But we are all so very interested in why you are down here and word has it that Joe Davidson is out of action as well.
Ricky Simms - If Tony Parizi has a problem with the CWA legends in there, he could have gone another route!
Henry Lesher - So it's true he pulled your insurance for tonight?
Ricky Simms - He said that the GWO's insurance company would not cover the four of us. Are ya happy?
Henry Lesher - I am, yeah. That's a good call by Parizi. Now let's watch the fat guy and the albino freak that they did insure.
The Dawg picks Shengee up, then gives him a sidewalk slam to the mat. Dawg then heads to the ropes and climbs onto the second rope and leaps off, landing a leg drop across the throat of the fallen Shmelky from there. He then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! The Dawg gets the win and then immediately grabs the microphone from ring announcer Shelley Morris.
The Dawg - I have earned a test! This was no test tonight! I am going to beat down every damned idiot jobber I have to twice as bad now because that dressing room fears me!
Dawg throws the mic aside and grabs Shengee by the hair. As he does, Rod Gordon hits the ring with a chair in hand and smashes Dawg across the back of the head with it. Gordon then slams the chair over the back of The Dawg before he slips back out of the ring, shaking his head. Adam West moves to thank Rod, but Rod hauls off as if he is going to drill Adam in the head as well so Adam backs off.
Henry Lesher - Why did he save that idiot?
Ricky Simms - Sometimes a person is just ready for a fight and looking for a reason to enter one.
The scene opens backstage in the parking lot, a black porsche 911 pulls up into a parking spot and stepping out is Stevie James in a black leather jacket and Heartbreaker merchandise, he grabs his back from the passenger seat and takes a deep breath before looking into the arena area, the fans watching in the arena are going mad as he nods and heads in the arena area whispering the words, "Come on Stevie!"
Holmes vs Cordelia Parizi
"Black Number One" by Tupe O Negative plays as Holmes comes out for his debut tonight. He gets a mixed reaction as most unknowns do when they start their GWO careers, though he sure doesn't appear friendly or upbeat tonight and views a few people in the crowd seemingly with deep hatred. He steps up onto the apron and surveys the packed house before entering the ring. Once inside the ring, we hear "Come With Me" by Puff Daddy and out comes Cordelia Parizi to a warm reaction as Big Guido leads the way for her. Cordelia steps onto the apron and immediately Holmes grabs her by the hair and pulls her over the top rope into the ring as the bell sounds to make this match official. He then grabs her by the throat, stands her up and whips her off the ropes before clotheslining her to the mat. He then picks her up and gives her a sidewalk slam and goes for an early pin. 1...2... kick out by Cordelia.
Henry Lesher - I always like it when they try to end the match right away, like they have somewhere to be.
Ricky Simms - According to his resume, Holmes has been inside the ring a few times and been successful in his attempts previous.
Henry Lesher - He should be a God here seeing as we have so many wanna bes on board.
Holmes stands Cordelia up, whips her off the ropes and Cordelia ducks a clothesline and then comes back with a dropkick on Holmes that staggers him and sends him into the ropes. She then gives him a monkey flip to the center of the ring Cordelia then comes off the ropes and tries for a rolling thunder only to have Holmes move out of the way in time to avoid it and she lands hard on her back on the mat. Holmes then quickly gets to his feet, puts the boots to Cordelia and then grabs her by the hair, stands her up, gives her a headbutt and then picks her up and delivers a power slam on her. He goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by Cordelia. Holmes then stands her up, whips her into the corner and charges straight into raised knees from Parizi who then jumps to the second rope and clotheslines Holmes to the mat from there before she tries for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Holmes.
Ricky Simms - Back and forth action here and a few near pins.
Henry Lesher - Spoken like a man meant to not wrestle.
Ricky Simms - Keep it up, Doc.
Cordelia stands Holmes up, whips him off the ropes and Holmes ducks a clothesline, then spears Cordelia to the mat and applies a Holmes Death Lock which sends Cordelia into unimaginable pain as she reaches for the rope with her free hand. She sees she is too far away and feels herself fading in the hold and she then taps out.
Ricky Simms - Holmes with the win as Cordelia Parizi taps out.
Henry Lesher - This Holmes guy has potential.
Holmes rolls out of the ring and heads towards the back with a smile on his face. We then head to commercial.
We see Shannon Skanes in a studio in front of a white screen. He shrugs. "Frank Merritt is here tonight as a special guest referee, so we are without our opening commercial, a touching tale of an old lady being led across the street by Frank before he power bombs her to the concrete. Oh man, the censors were gonna love that. Oh well, it's been as close to thirty damned seconds as I'll get you, so let's go back to the show.
Steve Stryker vs Rod Gordon
"Destroy All" by Static X plays as Steve Stryker comes to the ring in his heavily anticipated GWO return. He is booed on his way to the ring as he has a few words with one fan in the front row before continuing on his way to the ring. He steps through the ropes and then stands on the second rope in the corner and poses once before jumping down into the middle of the ring again and awaiting the arrival of his opponent tonight. "Diamonds and Guns" by The Transplants plays as Rod Gordon comes out to a rare positice reaction. He even high fives that same fan who had been arguing with Steve Stryker moments earlier. Rod then mnakes his way to ringside and has a few words with Steve who motions Rod into the ring. Rod steps up onto the apron, into the ring and the bell sounds.
Henry Lesher - Yet another pointless GWO match. I guess we are trying to rob people of their will to live tonight.
Ricky Simms - I had hoped your sense of humor would have improved while I was gone.
Henry Lesher - I had hoped a few knocks in the head would make you entertaining, too.
Rod and Steve lock up. Steve Stryker quickly shoves Rod Gordon into the corner and then gives him a backdrop to the center of the ring. Rod kips up to his feet only to take a roundhouse kick to the side of the head from Stryker who then boot chokes Gordon in the ropes. Steve Stryker doesn't release the choke until the ref reaches a four count on it, one away from the fatal disqualification. Stryker then stands Gordon up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a clothesline to the mat. Stryker then takes to the ropes, heading to the second rope as Rod reaches his hands and knees. Steve comes off the ropes looking for a double axe handle smash across the back of Rod Gordon only to have Rod then sucker punch Steve in the breadbasket. Rod then headbutts Stryker backwards into the ropes and then gives him a snap suplex to the middle of the ring. Gordon then quickly gets to his feet and does a standing somersault onto the fallen Stryker and then hooks the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Steve Stryker. Rod asks the ref if he knows how to count to three, then stands Steve Stryker up, whips him off the ropes and then backdrops him to the mat.
Henry Lesher - Why is this still going on? We have better matches on hold like Leech's and.... well, that's pretty much it. Let's get Leech out here.
Ricky Simms - Leech will be most welcome in the ring tonight.
Henry Lesher - What? Why are you smiling like that? What's going on?
Ricky Simms - Just shut up and watch the match.
Rod picks Steve Stryker up and races towards the corner. Steve slides down the back of Rod Gordon, slams him head first into the corner buckle and then rolls him up for the pin. 1...2... Rod manages to roll out and rolls himself right out of the ring. Steve Stryker then follows Rod out, grabs him by the hair and slams his head into the guard railing. Rod then eye gouges Steve Stryker, then tries to whip him into the ring steps only to have Steve Stryker reverse it and send Rod into the steel ring steps shoulder first instead. Steve Stryker then grabs Rod by the hair again and slams his head off of the steel steps before tossing him over the guard railing into the aisle between rows of fans as security holds the fans back. The ref reaches a ten count and calls for the bell here.
Ricky Simms - Both men counted out here.
Henry Lesher - Works for me since they are both losers.
Steve heads over the guard railing and starts brawling with Rod in the aisle as security tries to both holds the fans back and pry these two off of each other. The scene once more opens in the back and Kosmic Kitty is seen entering the arena. She isn’t looking very happy and has her bag over her shoulder she heads down a lobby before seeing the canteen door open, Weapon walks out a coffee in hand and Kitty suddenly smiles wide and leaps at him nearly making him jump.
Lethal Weaponm - Oh Kitty, he shocked me, you ok?
Kosmic Kitty - Yep, Yep! You ok?
Lethal Weapon - I am fine, thank you for asking how are you after last week, I can’t say I’d heard from you this week?
Kosmic Kitty - No, I needed some time to myself…Erm…How’s Stevie?
Lethal Weapon - He is very good, he arrived earlier, maybe you should go and see him.
Kosmic Kitty - Oh, well I er…erm…Better not, I mean, I got a lot to do.
Lethal Weapon - Ah I see…Ok, well if you need me you know where I’m going to be.
Kitty just nods as Lethal walks off, more and more he was becoming like a farther to her, supportive, understanding and experienced, this was not the man she had come to know him as from the tails and rumours, Lethal was…Humane. She shrugs and skips away a little happier now.
Radd Matthews vs Leech
"Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional plays as Radd Matthews comes out to the loudest boos of the night. Radd grabs at a Kosmic Kitty poster someone has in the crowd, but he is unsuccessful at grabbing it. Radd then makes his way to ringside and smiles as he looks out at the booing throngs of fans. He steps up onto the apron, into the ring and tests the ropes as "Enemies of Reality" by Nevermore plays and Leech starts making his way to the ring. Leech gets booed just as loud as Radd and shakes his head as he makes his way to the ring. Leech then starts to run the rest of the way to the ring and slides undfer the bottom rope and then trips the legs out from under an unprepared Radd. Leech then lands a series of rights and lefts to the head of Radd Matthews before standing him up and then hip tossing him back down to the mat.
Henry Lesher - Now we have a perfect match here with Leech in it, showing us how wrestling is really done.
Ricky Simms - A match that Joe Davidson was supposed to be in.
Henry Lesher - No more senior citizens in the ring.
Leech applies an arm bar on Radd. Radd gets up to one knee and Leech kicks him in the face, then twists the arm again. Leech then stands Radd up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a knee to the gut that sends him through the air and somersaulting to the mat where he lands on his tailbone. Leech then applies a sleeperhold. The ref checks for a submission, but Radd refuses to give even as he starts to look very drowsy. The ref raises the arm of Radd once and it drops. He raises the arm of Radd a second time and again it drops. The ref raises Radd's arm a third time and this time Radd keeps it in the air to prevent a loss here. Radd then starts elbowing Leech in the ribs, then snap mares him to the mat thus breaking the hold. Radd then rolls himself out of the ring to regroup and rests his hands on the announce table. Ricky stands up and lands an upper cut on Radd, then slams his head into the table while the ref is having words with Leech.
Henry Lesher - What the hell was that?
Ricky Simms - Hey, I'm not wrestling.
Leech rolls himself out of the ring and goes to whip Radd into the steel corner post only to have Radd reverse it and Leech slams head first into the corner post. Radd rolls himself into the ring and has a few words with the ref as Ricky gets up from his chair, folds it and heads over to Leech, then slams the chair over his head. He then heads back to his seat, sits the chair out and sits back down as the fans cheer him on.
Henry Lesher - There's something wrong with your brain! That is Leech, a God among men!
Ricky Simms - Both men are slime. Leech attacks kids and Radd has talked enough about Kosmic Kitty being a whore and whatever other lies he's spewing. I've seen enough of both of them.
Leech rolls himself into the ring where Radd grabs him by the hair. Radd headbutts Leech into the corner where he then lands a series of kicks to the gut on Leech. Radd then hip tosses Leech to the center of the ring and then goes for a springboard moonsault which misses when Leech rolls out of the way and then hooks the tights on Radd for the pin attempt. 1...2...3! Leech gains the win here tonight.
Henry Lesher - Despite your stupidity, Leech wins and furthers his legend.
Leech grabs the microphone from Shelley Morris.
Leech - Hey, Simms, asshole! You wanna go? You wanna do this? Get in here!
Ricky Simms gets up from his position at the table and takes off his sport coat and unbuttons the cuffs on his shirt. He takes off his headset as the fans start a chant for him. Ricky steps up onto the bottom step of the ring steps and we then hear "Come With Me" by Puff Daddy and Tony Parizi comes out with Big Guido close behind.
Tony Parizi - Whoa there chief! Ricky, I gave you a directive this week! I told you to stay at your desk and stay out of it. Insurance companies being what they are, they will not insure your group. You're not insured, so you stay as an announcer. Leech, you did what you had to by beating Radd Matthews and you've earned yourself a world title shot next week in the fatal four way. Ricky, if you want to deal with Leech, do it on your own damned time not mine!
Ricky backs down as Leech gives him the finger and then turns back to say something to Parizi who is already gone. Leech then takes a spear from Radd who has been listening to and watching all of this. Radd then grabs the microphone and he decides it's his turn.
Radd Matthews - Next week I will take that Stevie James bastard down! Next week I will show you all what a whore Kitty was to me and why she deserved everything she got when she lost the tag titles and why she'll wish she never met me when I am done with her new boy!
Before Radd can say anything more, we see Myst on the four screens hanging above the ring which brings the crowd to their feet.
Myst - Oh look, it's Radd Matthews, the pathetic and feminine man who thinks he is winning back the Pacific title. I have been listening to everyone calling myself and Kosmic Kitty slut, whore, slut, whore, to the point where I expect Jerry Springer to host the damned show! See you next Monday, Radd.
Myst's image turns to snow before it goes back to showing us Radd inside the ring as he screams and yells. Radd then races out of the ring towards the back, not appearing to be very impressed with this turn of events as we then go to commercial.
We see an old man feeding the birds next to a quiet pond as the sun shines down on him. He smiles at the camera. "Hi there. Xtasy was supposed to be here, but he's wrestling. Then Frank was gonna be here, but he's reffing." He frowns. "So they sent Ingee Shmelky." The camera turns and we see Ingee down on the ground being attacked by geese and screaming "My eyes! My eyes! Dear Lord, it hurts!" The camera then turns back to the old man. "This was going to be a life insurance commercial, but nothing is worth this crap." He gets up and storms off as the camera settles back on Ingee before we see the Aflac logo. Mercifully, we return to the show.
Xtasy vs Kosmic Kitty
"X Gonna Give It To Ya" by DMX plays as Xtasy makes his way to the ring. The crowd explodes as if he's a big star or legend or something as he high fives hyper fans all the way to the ring. He then poses once for the camera before he continues on his way into the ring. He rolls in under the bottom rope and then poses once in the middle of the ring as flashbulbs go off. We then hear "Rumors" by Lindsay Lohan as Kosmic Kitty comes out tossing Twinkies to her right and left from her newest basket. The basket is quickly emptied before she hands her basket to a lucky little boy in the front row with a giant foam finger with Kitty's name on it. She then gives the little boy a kiss on the cheek and then looks into the ring. "Hate Me Now" by Nas plays as we see Frank Merritt coming out with a referee's shirt on. He gets a more mixed reaction, though many fans want autographs of the man who is both an NLCW champion and a commercial star in the GWO. Kosmic Kitty steps into the ring as Frank steps up onto the apron and takes another look out at the crowd. He then looks into the ring at Xtasy and points a finger at him.
Ricky Simms - Looks like Frank has a few things to say to Xtasy.
Henry Lesher - They have been in every bloody commercial together for months. Makes sense to me they might really have some hate towards each other. At least Frank Merritt is a man and a champion.
Frank steps into the ring and calls for the bell. Kitty and Xtasy lock up in the middle of the ring. Xtasy then breaks that and shoves Kitty into the ropes, then dropkicks her to the mat when she comes back to the center of the ring. Xtasy then heads to the ropes only to have Frank head him off. He explains to Xtasy that Kitty is far too attractive to chance an idiot landing on her like this. Xtasy takes offense to that and shoves Frank. Kitty grabs Xtasy from behind and rolls him up for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Xtasy. Kitty then quickly gets to her feet and grabs Xtasy by the hair and sets him for a DDT. Xtasy punches Kitty in the gut, then picks her up and delivers a spinebuster on her and goes for the pin. Frank refuses to count it, stating he is not ready to do that yet. He then looks up for a few mommenta and makes a remark about how bright the lights are and then starts to count the pin. 1... Kitty rolls a shoulder out.
Henry Lesher - What the hell kind of refereeing job is this?
Ricky Simms - No worse than what your buddy Leech might do.
Xtasy has a few words with Frank as he gets to his feet. Xtasy pokes Frank in the chest. Frank looks down and shakes his head and takes a swing at Xtasy which Xtasy ducks. Kitty then grabs the ducking Xtasy and DDTs him to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Xtasy kicks out as a fast count occurs. Kosmic Kitty then gets to her feet quickly and places Xtasy into a standing side headlock. Xtasy elbows Kitty in the ribs and then gives her a fallaway slam and then goes for the pin again. Frank refuses to count the pin as he deems it to be sloppy. Xtasy stands face to face with Frank and they again jaw at each other. Xtasy shakes his head and rolls out of the ring. He then grabs a steel folding chair and slides back into the ring and Frank then starts putting the boots to Xtasy before he has a chance to swing the chair. Frank grabs the chair and slams it over the head of the fallen Xtasy, rolls him over and orders Kitty to pin him. 1...2...3! Kosmic Kitty with a heavily aided win here tonight.
Henry Lesher - This is a joke.
Ricky Simms - I'm a big Kitty fan, but yeah Frank didn't do his job right tonight.
Kosmic Kitty leaves the ring as Frank stands over Xtasy with an evil smile on his face. Frank grabs Xtasy by the hair, pulls him to his feet and appears set to choke slam him through the mat when we see Tony Parizi on the four screens from the back, sitting at his desk.
Tony Parizi - What the hell is going on tonight? Frank, you were paid tonight to refere a match and you suck at it! Next week, you and Xtasy wrestle at Bloodshed. Until then, you touch him and I impose a lifetime suspension against you.
Tony's image fades and Frank drops Xtasy to the mat again. He shakes his head and spits on the mat before he starts to head towards the back. Kosmic Kitty leaves the area as well, glad to be out of that situation as she makes her way to the back. Backstage we see Stevie James waiting for Kosmic Kitty with flowers in his hands. Myst rounds the corner instead and sighs.
Myst - When did this show become The Young and the Restless?
Stevie James - I am waiting for Kitty.
Myst - She isn't gonna come this way. Everyone goes this way. She's started taking different routes backstage, poor thing.
Stevie James - How do you know?
Myst - Kitty and I understand each other. We get the same insults hurled at us.
Stevie James - Is that why you're in my match next week now?
Myst - Yes it is. *looks at her watch* Would love to stay and chat, loberboy, but I have a match to get ready for tonight.
She heads off as Stevie decides to go hunting for Kitty in the darkened corners of the building.
Blake Young vs Sal Clemenzo
"Zeromancer" by Dr. Online plays as Blake Young comes out and makes his way to the ring. He receives a decent pop from the capacity Tuscon crowd. He then steps up onto the apron and into the ring. We then hear Tommyguns firing and out comes Sal Clemenzo to a very mixed reaction from this crowd.
Ricky Simms - Sal hasn't showed himself as much of a team player this week in his promos.
Henry Lesher - Team players aren't always winners. In fact, they are hardly ever winners.
Sal stops at ringside and looks in at Blake Young and actually laughs to himself and looks around at the crowd as if he doesn't see this as a serious match at all. Sal then steps up onto the apron and orders Blake to back off. Blake steps back and Sal enters the ring very deliberately. That leaves him open for an attack from Blake before the bell. Blake rains down axe handle smashes across the back of Sal, then snap mares him into the middle of the ring. Blake then places Sal into a crucifix submission hold. The ref checks for a submission as Sal tries not to scream in pain. Sal then uses a free foot to kick the knee of Blake Young which weakens the hold enough for Sal to break it and then he arm drags Blake into the corner. Sal then gets to his feet slowly as he collects himself, clearly not ready for the onslaught that Blake brought to start this match. Blake moves towards Sal and takes an upper cut followed by an eye gouge from Sal. Sal then places Blake's throat over the top rope and chokes him with it before releasing the choke and then pulling hard on the rope to the throat of Blake and sending him hard to the mat. Sal Clemenzo then heads to the top rope and leaps off and lands an elbow smash to the throat of Blake and goes for the pin. 1...2... Blake Young manages to roll a shoulder out.
Henry Lesher - That was a three count.
Ricky Simms - No it wasn't.
Henry Lesher - Awfully opinionated after losing a few matches, aren't you?
Ricky Simms - Haven't seen you in the ring yet.
Sal stands Blake up, whips him off the ropes and then ducks his head to backdrop Blake only to have Blake kick him in the face and then gives him a spinebuster to the mat before trying for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Sal Clemenzo. Blake then stands Sal up, whips him into the corner and then steps up to the second rope and rains punches down on Sal as the fans count them. He reaches ten and then Sal grabs Blake around the waist, pulls him out of the corner and then gives him an inverted atomic drop before headbutting him down to the mat. Sal then leg drops Blake and goes for the pin. 1...2... Blake manages to kick out. Sal then stands Blake Young up, whips him off the ropes and then both men clothesline each other to the mat. They lay there motionless for a few moments as the ref starts to count them both down. On the four count, Sal reaches the bottom rope and starts to pull himself up. On the five count, Blake manages to hook the bottom rope as well and start pulling himself up. Sal reaches his feet first at an eight count and then charges at Blake. Blake ducks down and backdrops Sal over the top rope to the floor as the fans cheer him on. Blake then steps out onto the apron and then scissor kicks Sal across the back of the neck from there. Blake then rolls himself into the ring and the ref has a few words with him about it.
Henry Lesher - Well at least Blake isn't shy about going outside the ring.
Ricky Simms - Quite impressive debut here for this new GWO star.
Sal gets to his feet and pulls something from his tights. He then rolls himself into the ring, concealing that hand from the ref. Blake grabs Sal by the hair, pulls him to his feet and then takes a punch to the head from Sal, one where his fist is covered in brass knuckles, a popular tool for GWO stars these days. Sal then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Sal Clemenzo gains a win over Blake Young.
Ricky Simms - Considering we're supposed to be against the same people. I just don't like his tactics.
Henry Lesher - Yeah, he has testicles when he talks. You hate that.
Stevie James rounds the corner and comes face to face with Kitty.
Stevie James - Hi...
Kosmic Kitty - Hi...
Stevie clumsily hands her the flowers.
Stevie James - These are for you...
Kosmic Kitty - Wow, roses! Thank you!
Stevie James - Uh.... yeah, well I have a match coming up. Gotta go.
Kosmic Kitty - Good luck.
Stevie James - Yeah, you too.
He mumbles to himself as he walks away about how badly he handled that and how he has to get his nerves under control. We then head to commercial.
We see Charley MacAdam in the GWO studio with his trademark smile. "Hello boys and girls and welcome to another GWO update. I am Charley Mac, your hook up for all the GWO 411! Next week is Bloodshed! Next week will be the big event where we crown champions and see some great feuds come to big climaxes and endings! Leech is in for the four corners title match with Max Cameron, Lethal Weapon and Shannon Skanes! Radd Matthews and Stevie James have been joined by Myst to make that match triple threat for the Pacific title! Of course, Stevie has to defeat Jake Evans tonight to preserve that as a title match. We also have an open tag team challenge for next Monday which is open to everyone! Boy I cannot wait to see what the rest of the card shapes up like as Frank Merritt and Xtasy square off in a match more about airtime and less about titles or anything like that. It should be great. Be there or see it live on pay per view! Call and order now! The GWO is truly the home of the very best!
Stevie James vs Jake Evans
"Open Road" by Bryan Adams plays as Stevie James comes out from the back with the Pacific title held high above his head. The crowd cheers him on as he makes his way to the ring and then jumps up onto the apron and then steps through the ropes. No sooner has Stevie entered the ring than we hear "Just Lose It" by Eminem and Jake Evans races to the ring by himself for the first time in a long time and the two start brawling as the bell sounds to make this title match official.
Ricky Simms - There's heat between these two.
Henry Lesher - It's a shame I don't give a damn. This Stevie kid should be on a soap opera, not out here imitating a wrestler.
Stevie lands a series of knife edge chops on Jake Evans to gain the upper hand and drive him into the corner. Stevie then tries for an Irish whip to the opposite corner, but Jake plants his feet and reverses it, whipping Stevie into the other corner and then giving him a German suplex to the mat where he then tries for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Stevie James. Jake Evans then stands Stevie up, whips him off the ropes and then dropkicks him to the mat. Jake then heads to the ropes, makes his way to the top and leaps off for a moonsault that misses when Stevie James rolls out of the way. Stevie then uses the ropes to get to his feet. He then applies a headlock on Jake Evans and gives him a bulldog to the mat and then rolls him over for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Jake Evans. Stevie then stands Jake up, whips him into the corner and then gives him a fisherman's suplex and then tries for the cradle pin. 1...2... kick out by Jake Evans again as he shows a lot of determination and heart here.
Henry Lesher - So we have a tag team wrestler against a drama queen.
Ricky Simms - Man you piss me off.
Stevie stands Jake up and takes a thumb to the eye from Evans. Jake Evans then lands a series of forearm smashes to the jaw of Stevie James, driving him into the corner buckle. Jake then snap mares Stevie into the middle of the ring and then places him in a front face lock. Stevie then stands up and backs Jake Evans into the corner. Stevie then picks Jake up and body slams him to the mat, then knee drops him to the forehead. Jake then looks to the crowd who appear torn between whether they want to see a new champion here or not. Jake then heads to the ropes and makes his way to the top. As he readies himself to fly, Thunder appears at ringside and slams Jake in the back with a chair right in front of the referee who immediately calls for the bell.
Henry Lesher - Nice shot.
Ricky Simms - Thunder gets Stevie DQed, but the title doesn't change hands on a disqulification.
Henry Lesher - Like I said, nice shot.
Stevie gets to his feet as Jake Evans is helped from the ring by Matt Classic who just now got her. Stevie has the title belt over his shoulder as he takes the microphone from Shelley Morris.
Stevie James - Can Kosmic Kitty please come out?
There is silence for a few moments and then we hear "Rumors" by Lindsay Lohan and out comes Kosmic Kitty which brings the fans to their feet for the second time tonight. She shyly smiles towards the floor as she makes her way to the ring. The crowd starts a chant for Kitty as she steps up onto the apron and then into the ring.
Henry Lesher - Why must I sit through this drivel?
Ricky Simms - Because everyone hates you. Now shut up.
Stevie James - Kitty, I have been doing a lot of thinking lately and I realized I think about you a lot and... I believe I.... love you.
He hands the microphone to Kosmic Kitty who is blushing quite noticeably as the crowd cheers.
Kosmic Kitty - I had no idea. Radd hurt me bad and I didn't know... but I can't. You seem really nice Stevie, but he hurt me and... I can't.
We hear "Youth of the Nation" by POD and Max Cameron leads the way as Gerard Angelo, Slim Pickens and Rated R follow him to the ring. Max has a microphone in his hand.
Max Cameron - Oh poor Stevie got turned down by the sleazy little chicky. Now we have been watching from the back and we are sick of the damned soap opera.
Ricky Simms stands at his table and looks into the ring as Youthful Aggression all slip in through the ropes and smile at Stevie and Kitty who are badly outnumbered.
Max Cameron - Yeah, Rick, you haven't had enough beatings yet. Come in here and play hero now. See what happens.
Ricky smiles and shakes his head. We then hear "Just Like You" by Three Days Grace and Noah Skanes comes out into the aisle with a smile on his face.
Noah Skanes - Silly Max, you see I know you played a part in getting the CWA Legends banned from the ring. The only one still allowed inside that ring is my father and word has it you're trying to screw him over too. I have news for you. You can play this game with us all you like. G2 is going to answer you all.
Max Cameron - G2? What, did you learn to play a new video game or something?
As Max laughs with the other members of Youthful Aggression, Carl Simms and Dan Jalldoff enter the ring and flank Kitty and Stevie. Noah then points for them to turn around and it's four on four as the eight combatants brawl and it ends up with Simms, Jalldoff, Kitty and Stevie James throwing the four of them out of the ring.
Noah Skanes - Yeah, it's a video game Max. It's all about kicking the living hell out of Youthful Aggression. I am going to get the high score.
Henry Lesher - That was wrong.
We see Tony Parizi in his office with Big Guido watching the carnage from moments ago when Kumquat Kid comes into the room and clears his throat.
Tony Parizi - May I help you?
Kumquat Kid - Yeah, I was just wondering about next week....
Tony Parizi - You haven't had your match for this week yet.
Kumquat Kid - Yeah, well, I want to dicsuss next week after I beat Austin.
Tony Parizi - Confident fella, aren't ya?
Kumquat Kid - I want next week's match to be for something.
Tony Parizi - *chuckles* Kid, I like your moxy. What I will do for you, then is make you an offer. Next week you will face off against Gerard Angelo because he pisses me off. If you win, you get a shot at the title of your choice the week after.
Kumquat Kid - I knew you would be reasonable. People said you were psycho.
Tony and Guido look at each other baffled. They must wonder if the Kid even knows who or what he is dealing with.
Gerard Angelo vs Jack Spade
"Hell Song" by Sum 41 plays as Gerard Angelo comes out to the boos of the crowd. He has little to say to anyone as he turns to the camera and has a few words about fighting kumquats before he finishes his walk to the ring. He steps through the ropes and shakes his head as he paces in the middle of the ring and then we hear "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne and out comes Jack Spade to a similar negative reaction from the crowd, not the first match we have had tonight involving two people who are not particularly popular. Jack Spade steps onto the apron and has a few words for Angelo. He then steps through the ropes and the bell sounds as gerard Angelo attacks with a series of punches to the head on Jack Spade before he hip tosses him to the center of the ring and then gives him a series of kicks in the back. Jack Spade turns and grabs the leg of Gerard Angelo and then pulls him to the mat before landing a series of punches to the head of Angelo on the mat. Jack then stands Gerard up and gives him a whip off the ropes and then clotheslines him to the mat. Gerard then poses once for the screaming female fans before giving the finger to a group of fans who are being particularly vocal against him right now.
Ricky Simms - Gerard seems to have recovered well from the assault at the hands of the soap opera and the kids.
Henry Lesher - That was paethetic. That entire exchange reeks of crappiness.
Ricky Simms - Reeks of crappiness? Who the hell have you been hanging out with?
Henry Lesher - Dear Lord, Casey Braun is rubbing off on me. *starts banging his head on the table*
Gerard stands Jack Spade up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Gerard then sets for and places Jack in a Boston Crab as the crowd appears to be cheering for a submission to end the match quick here. Jack reaches for the ropes as Gerard fights to strengthen the hold. Jack lunges a second time and then a third and on the third try manages to snag the bottom rope. The ref forces the break as Gerard appears to chastize himself for not being able to finish the match right there. Gerard then grabs Jack by the hair, pulls him to his feet and Jack drops him with a jawbreaker. jack Spade then quickly slaps on a camel clutch as the fans again cheer for a submission.
Ricky Simms - Fans playing the odd card of booing and cheering both sides.
Henry Lesher - That doesn't make sense. The election was weeks ago.
Gerard manages to puch himself up from the mat to weaken the hold as the ref checks for a submission that is not going to come. Gerard then snags the bottom rope and forces the break, so both men have failed to make the other tap on their first attempts. Gerard pulls himself to his feet and then Jack lands a series of kicks to the back of Gerard and then pulls him to the middle of the ring and sets him for a suplex. Gerard blocks it. Gerard then delivers a vertical suplex on Jack Spade and then turns it into a cradle pin attempt. 1...2... Jack manages to kick out. Gerard then quickly gets to his feet and shakes his head as he waits for Jack to get up. He superkicks Jack in the jaw and then heads to the ropes. He climbs to the second rope and delivers a double axe handle across the back of Jack Spade. He then picks Jack up and delivers the Past Tense and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Gerard Angelo snags the win tonight over Jack Spade. From the back we see Slim Pickens coming down with a bag of what appears to be garbage over his shoulder. He laughs as he steps through the ropes and Gerard backs off. Slim then dumps the trash on the fallen Jack Spade. Slim and Gerard then leave together and head for the back, Gerard careful to keep his distance from the smell Slim has going on.
Henry Lesher - What the hell is wrong with Slim's brain?
We then head to commercial as Jack starts to stir in the ring and the area needs to be sanitized.
We see Myst looking at her nails. She then smiles at the screen and blinks for us. "Hi, you know me as beautiful and successful. What's my secret?" Myst picks up a jar of beauty cream. "This is it right here, Mystilicious by Loreal. Mystilicious will make you beautiful or prove you are beyond hope. I could tell you I am worth it, but you already knew that. If you want to be anywhere near as pretty as me, you're gonna need lots so buy often and buy in bulk. Mystilicious, not just a dream anymore. Look for my face on the bottle or enjoy being ugly." She smiles for us and holds the product for us all to see, quite proud of herself and her deal.
Thunder vs Hellfire Jack
The Theme from Magnificent Seven plays as TV champion Hellfire Jack makes his way to the ring. He gets a loud ovation from a crowd that has been waiting for someone to cheer for out here. Jack holds his belt high as he steps up onto the apron and looks out at the hordes of people. He then steps into the ring, hands his title to the ref and then starts stretching a bot as he readies for this match. "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC plays as Thunder is led to the ring by Marla Storme. Marla tells the camera Slim Pickens is in for a long night tonight as she leads the way. Thunder doesn't look sideways and keeps his face pointed towards the floor most of the way to the ring. At ringside, he looks up into the ring and his eyes lock with Hellfire Jack. Thunder then makes his way up the ringsteps and then steps over the top rope into the ring. The bell sounds and Thunder and Jack circle each other and then lock up. Thunder breaks it with a headbutt on Jack, then chokes him with both hands and lifts him in the air. Jack fights back with a kick to the knee cap on Thunder, the eye rakes him before he comes off the ropes and tries a clothesline which fails to take Thunder down. He then comes off the ropes for another clothesline that again fails when Thunder doesn't go down, so Jack resorts to a dropkick and that finally takes the big guy down.
Ricky Simms - Jack fighting hard here against the bigger Thunder.
Henry Lesher - Jake Evans failed earlier, but Thunder is bigger and stronger and such, so I imagine he'll win this fight.
Hellfire Jack slaps a sleeperhold on Thunder before he has a chance to get back to his feet. The ref checks on Thunder who starts getting up despite the hold. Thunder picks Hellfire Jack up and gives him a side suplex to break the hold. Thunder then grabs Hellfire in a reverse headlock and then gives him a DDT and rolls him over for the pin attempt. 1...2... kick out by Hellfire Jack. Thunder has a few words for the ref on the speed of that count as he pulls Jack to his feet. Jack kicks the knee cap of Thunder as he did before and then shoulder blocks him into the corner. He takes the leg of Thunder, wraps it around the middle rope and starts kicking away at the vulnerable knee. Hellfore then takes a headbutt from Thunder that knocks him backwards. Thunder then tries for a clothesline that misses when Jack ducks it and then Jack grabs the foot of Thunder, pulls him to the mat and places him in an ankle lock submission hold.
Ricky Simms - Hellfire wrestling a very smart match here, taking the big man off his feet.
Henry Lesher - I guess not all of the fans favorites can be idiots.
Hellfire twists the ankle as Marla Storme is seen cheering Thunder on and slapping the apron. The crowd is, of course, cheering for the end here and a win for Jack. From the back, we see Halloween Jack on his way to the ring. Inside the ring, Thunder rolls himself over and kicks Hellfire Jack off of him to break the hold. Thunder then uses the ropes to get to his feet as he tries to shake off the effects of Hellfire's focussed attack on the knee. Hellfire then charges straight into a raised knee from the good leg of Thunder. Outside the ring, Marla retreats when she sees Halloween Jack coming. However, no sooner has this happened than we spot Austin Fierro on his way down with Deacon Raymore close behind. Marla keeps backing away as Halloween Jack has a few words for her.
Henry Lesher - If you weren't so damned old, he would have a match with you tonight.
Ricky Simms - Shut it, Lesher.
Hellfire Jack is set for a power bomb by Thunder when he spots Halloween Jack outside the ring and has a few words to shout towards Halloween. Austin Fierro then drills Halloween Jack from behind with a clothesline to the floor and Thunder smiles as he picks Hellfire Jack up for a power bomb only to have Matt Classic appear with a chair and he smashes it over the back of Thunder's head before he retreats from the ring. Hellfire Jack then wraps Thunder up for the pin. 1...2...3! Hellfire Jack gets the win thanks to Matt Classic.
Ricky Simms - They screwed each other out of titles!
Henry Lesher - And next week they will both be after the tag team titles, for sure.
Backstage we see Max Cameron in the dressing room with Shawna Miller. He doesn't appear to be in a very good mood.
Shawna Miller - Max, tonight's been a rough night for your little group here.
Max Cameron - Tonight is a banner night for my group, Shawna. Gerard won. Slim, Rated R and myself are all set to win. If Noah Skanes thinks he got one over on us, he's dead wrong. I intend to squash him when the time comes. His whole damned family is going to suffer.
Shawna Miller - And tonight you face Lethal Weapon one week before facing off against three men for the world title.
Max Cameron - Two more wins for me, Shawna. It's that simple.
Shawna Miller - You sound confident.
Max Cameron - That's why I am the world champion.
Myst vs Rated R vs Boomshalkalaka
"Points of Authority" by Linkin Park plays as Boomshalkalaka makes his way to the ring to a mostly positive response from the fans. Boom high fives fans on his way to the ring. He then steps up onto the apron and poses once for the fans there before he steps into the ring. Once he is inside the ring, we hear "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace and Rated R comes out to loud boos from the crowd. Rated R tells the camera tonight marks the beginning of the rise to the top for Rated R. He steps onto the apron and looks into the ring at Boom and shakes his head.
Henry Lesher - Rated R the class of this match.
Ricky Simms - That's a matter of opinion.
Henry Lesher - Actually, it's the opinion that matters.
Rated R has a few words with Boom as we then hear "A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park and out comes Myst who is moving fast and is apprently on a mission as Boom and Rated R starts trading rights and lefts inside the ring. Myst then slides into the ring and heads straight for Rated R, chop blocking him to the mat. Myst then applies a side headlock as Boom puts the boots to Rated R. Rated R squirms out of the headlock and then rolls his way out of the ring. Myst then quickly gets to her feet and stands face to face with Boom and they start to have words. Rated R is seen pacing outside the ring as Boom shoves Myst. Myst then slaps Boom across the face and then ducks a clothesline attampt before she dropkicks Boom backwards into the ropes. Rated R then punches Boom in the kidney from the floor and then rolls himself into the ring where Myst starts putting the boots to him. The ref finally remembers to call for the bell to start this match.
Ricky Simms - Well, this match is in the record books.
Henry Lesher - Probably as the worst match of the night?
Ricky Simms - I thought Leech had already been out here.
Henry Lesher - You'll pay for that comment.
Rated R fights his way through the kicking by Myst and picks her up and gives her an inverted atomic drop before eye gouging her. Rated R then turns to Boom and takes a clothesline from him. Boom then leg drops Rated R across the throat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Myst kicks Boom in the head to break up the pin. Myst then grabs Boom into a headlock and then gives him a springboard bulldog to the mat and rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... Boom manages to roll a shoulder out. Rated R, meanwhile, has rolled himself back out of the ring. Myst rolls out of the ring after him and shoves Rated R in the back, driving him shoulder first into the steel corner post. Myst then gives Rated R a German suplex on the floor as Boomshalkalaka gets to his feet and looks outside the ring at the carnage going on there. Boom then baseball slides into a kick to the chin on Myst, driving her into the guard railing. Boom then grabs Myst by the hair and rolls her into the ring. He then turns to Rated R who thinks quick and gives Boom a drop toe into the steel steps face first.
Ricky Simms - Nasty shot to the face there.
Henry Lesher - If he didn't need the mask before, he does now.
Rated R then slips into the ring and then tries for a sharpshooter on Myst who kicks him into the corner, then gives him a mule kick to the gut and follows that up with a back elbow in the corner. Myst goes for a snap mare on Rated R that he fights out of by shoving her away and then spearing her in the back to the opposite corner. Rated R then smiles in the center of the ring as Myst staggers back towards him and Boomshalkalaka rolls him up for the pin from behind. 1...2.. Myst breaks it up with a kick to the head on Boom. Rated R then kicks her through the ropes to the floor. Rated R then rolls Boom up for the pin again, his hand on the rope for leverage. 1...2...3! Rated R wins the match as Myst quickly gets to her feet and looks unimpressed. Rated R leaves the ring and takes a superkick to the chin from Myst. Myst then starts for the back when Slim appears at the entrance and he is carrying a container. He opens it and floods the floor with marbles. She turns and spots them a moment too late and lands on her behind as Slim laughs and then heads to the back.
Henry Lesher - That guy has serious mental problems.
Ricky Simms - So does the guy sitting next to me.
We then head to commercial.
We see Kumquat Kid in a grocery store with a smile on his face. "Hey, I'm that superhero from the GWO! You all know me well! You all love me and I love most of you. Well, I never cared for that guy," he says, pointing off to the right. "Anyways, thank you for supporting your local kumquats. Last week we saw a 1.5% increase in opverall kumquat sales, so this is sweet. Kumquats... the fruit that bite you back."
Slim Pickens vs Shannon Skanes
"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N Roses plays as Slim Pickens comes out with the hardcore title over his shoulder. He hears the boos from the crowd and pretends he is about to fall down. As he laughs, we see Shannon Skanes coming out of the back with a baseball bat in hand. He clubs Slim across the back with it, shattering the wodden bat into two pieces, the larger piece flying off into the crowd. Shannon then takes the piece in his hand and chokes Slim with it as the ref calls for the bell, this match officialy underway.
Henry Lesher - That's the kind of killer instinct he should show all the time instead of the wuss owner we usually see.
Ricky Simms - Shannon is not impressed with Slim or anyone these days. It seems the trend is towards slams against his wife and he is set on making people pay for it.
Shannon releases the choke on Slim, then throws him down to ringside, kicking him in the ribs around the ring with a sadistic smile on his face. Shannon then picks up an audio cord and starts whipping Slim across the back with it as the nearby fans cheer him on. Shannon then rolls Slim into the ring and reaches under the ring for a weapon of some sort. He grabs a fire extinguisher and rolls into the ring. Slim staggers to his feet and Shannon sprays him in the face with the fire extinguisher. As he does so and then goes for the pin, we see Gerard Angelo and Rated R charging into the ring.
Ricky Simms - It was a damned set up!
Henry Lesher - Shannon just isn't very bright.
Gerard and Rated R charge into the ring and start putting the boots to Shannon Skanes. Rated R stands him up, whips him off the ropes and Angelo smokes him in the face with the fire extinguisher. Slim then rolls onto Shannon for the pin. 1...2...3! Youthful Aggression afain make certain their man keeps the hardcore title!
Ricky Simms - This is crap!
As Gerard and Rated R both head outside the ring to grab chairs, we see Noah Skanes, Boomshalkalaka and Rod Gordon racing into the ring. From the crowd come Dan Jalldoff and Carl Simms emerge and the three members of Youthful Aggression bid a hasty retreat. The members of G2 stand together as GoBoom stand in the ring and the five of them nod towards each other with respect.
Ricky Simms - Uneasy alliance being born?
Henry Lesher - We'll see. Oh wait, I don't care.
We see Rated R and Gerard Angelo bursting into Tony Parizi's office where Sal Clemenzo and Big Guido don't look impressed to see them.
Tony Parizi - What the hell is going on here?
Rated R - I have had enough of this crap! Who the hell attacks us and gets away with it?
Gerard Angelo - And why am I facing this Kumquat idiot next week?
Tony Parizi - The Kid amuses me. You don't.
Rated R - I expect a shot at a title next week.
Tony Parizi - Then get ready for a triple threat test when you face Austin Fierro and Halloween Jack this coming week.
Rated R - Youthful Aggression is going to rule the GWO, no matter what you and your buddies want.
Austin Fierro vs Kumquat Kid
"Happy Together" by Simple Plan plays as Kumquat Kid makes his way to the ring to the cheers of the crowd and led by his managers, Jenny Retsyn and Dunk. Kumquat bows once for the crowd after rolling into the ring, then shows them he has three kumquats and he starts juggling them. As he tries to entertain the crowd, "Duality" by Slipknot plays and Deacon Raymore leads the way as Austin Fierro makes his way to the ring with the Canadian title over his head. The crowd isn't impressed with him or his manager. Deacon takes his place at ringside and Austin steps through the ropes and shows the belt to Kumquat Kid. He then mocks the Kid. Kid responds by beaning Austin in the face with a kumquat. The two of them then start trading punches as the fans cheer on Kumquat here. Kumquat eye rakes Austin, then whips him into the corner where he then lands a series of kicks to the chest of Austin, dropping him from his feet. Austin sits in the corner and Kumquat looks to the fans and gets them to cheer. He then charges into the corner and knees Austin in the face. Kumquat Kid then stands Austin up and hip tosses the Canadain champ to the center of the ring.
Ricky Simms - Good showing thus far by the challenger.
Henry Lesher - Yeah it doesn't mean he isn't an idiot.
Kumquat picks Austin up and body slams him to the mat, then heads to the ropes and climbs to the top rope. Austin gets to his feet and turns, sees Kumquat launching himself off the ropes and Austin dropkicks the divebombing Kumquat in the chest, sending him straight into the ropes. Austin then gives Kumquat a vertical suplex and then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kumquat Kid. Austin then stands Kumquat Kid up, whips him off the ropes and then backdrops him to the mat and poses once there. Outside the ring, Dunk and Jenny Retsyn have a few words with Deacon Raymore. Austin stands Kumquat up, then whips him through the ropes at his managers only to have them move out of the way and instead Kumquat lands on Deacon Raymore who falls hard at ringside. Austin then heads out of the ring, stands Kumquat Kid up and Kumquat fights back with an eye gouge on the champ and then shoves him hard into the guard railing. Kumquat Kid then rolls into the ring and steps back waiting for Austin to re-enter the ring. The lights then go out. We hear a thud. The lights come on and we see Rated R and Gerard Angelo in the aisle with smile on their faces as Kumquat is out cold in the middle of the ring. Austin rolls into the ring and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Austin Fierro retains the title. He then rolls out of the ring to check on the still fallen Deacon Raymore.
Ricky Simms - Rated R committed that attack to ensure next week's match is for the Canadian title and Gerard dod that to show Kumquat Kid what he's up against. Typical Youthful Aggression attack.
Henry Lesher - Rated R and Gerard are growing on me.
Ricky Simms - Somehow that doesn't surprise me.
Rated R and Gerard back off as Austin takes his title belt and EMTs come to ringside to attend to Deacon who appears to have hurt his neck this week. We then head to commercial.
We see Hellfire Jack pulling into a parking lot. He steps out of his black sports car and leans against the hood and smiles. "It's not easy being the fiery hand of righteousness. The GWO has treated me well and, as such, I have become the first to purchase the Dodge Righteous Viper, a sports car destined to show the world what is truly right. With the most proper headlights and perfect handling and acceleration, the new breed of Viper has been created with the Hellfire in mind. Drive one and you'll wonder why you ever believed in anyone else. Watch for the newest 2005 model, the Jack World Champ model, certain to win everyone over very soon. I am Hellfire Jack and I am very thankful for being so very right." He walks away from his black car, one that appears to be very correct and impressive.
Lethal Weapon vs Max Cameron
"Rock Superstar" by Cypress Hill plays as Lethal Weapon makes his way to the ring with his head held high and he quickly tells us all he is about to become the GWO world champion tonight. He steps into the ring, not taking time to high five fans or waste any time getting to the ring to enjoy his pyro or music. Tonight is all about becoming the world champion, nothing more. We then hear "Hell's Bells" by AC/DC and Max Cameron starts making his way to the ring to quite the opposite reaction to that which Lethal Weapon got. He is booed and things are thrown at him. He resists the NBA-like urge to go Artest on them, realizing only hockey players could be such brutes. Oh hey, did that make sense? It doesn't have to make sense because he is the world champion. Max hands his world title belt to the timekeeper who then takes it with him to his seat. Max then looks into the ring and has a few words for Lethal and Lethal just smiles and nods and waits for Max inside the ring. Max steps up onto the apron and looks out at the crowd, then into the ring at Lethal Weapon. Max leaps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes and the bell sounds to get this match underway.
Ricky Simms - World title on the line.
Henry Lesher - In a match between Harry and Lloyd.
Ricky Simms - Okay, that's enough.
Henry Lesher - That's the name of the guys from Dumb and Dumber.
Ricky Simms - I know that.
Lethal Weapon and Max Cameron lock up in the center of the ring. Lethal quickle whips Max into the corner and then lands a big boot to the chin on the champ. He follows that up with a Rock Bottom towards the center of the ring and then goes for the pin. 1...2... Max manages to roll a shoulder out. The fans groan as they had been certain that was going to be the end of this match up tonight. Lethal stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and then ducks his head for a backdrop. Max then elbows Lethal across the back and then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Max follows that up with an attempt at the crippler crossface, but Lethal Weapon manages to grab onto the ropes. Max is forced to let Weapon go and backs off to the center of the ring. Lethal quickly gets to his feet and nods towards Max and then the two lock up. Max raises a knee to the gut of Weapon. Weapon responds with a forearm to the jaw. Max then thumbs Weapon in the eye and then gives him a power slam to the mat.
Henry Lesher - Max needs to thumb people in the eye more.
Ricky Simms - Is that your mark of a true champion?
Max Cameron pulls Lethal Weapon into the corner and then climbs to the top rope and dives for a leg drop from there that misses by mere inches when Weapon rolls out of the way. Weapon then rolls Max up for the pin. 1...2... Max manages to kick out. Weapon then stands Max up, whips him off the ropes and lands a big boot to the chest on the champ and again goes for the pin. 1...2... Max rolls a shoulder out. Weapon stands and Max rolls himself out of the ring. Max then starts heading for the back as the fans boo him.
Ricky Simms - Where the hell does he think he is going?
Henry Lesher - He's the world champ. He can leave when he wants to, great way to keep the title.
Ricky Simms - When did you become a Max fan?
Henry Lesher - When I looked at the alternatives.
Lethal Weapon jumps out of the ring to the floor and chases Max towards the back. He grabs Max into a headlock and starts bringing him back to the ring when we see Slim Pickens coming out from the back with a chair in hand. He smashes it across the back of Weapon and the ref calls for the bell. Because is it a DQ, the belt stays around Max's waist tonight.
Ricky Simms - This was a set up.
Henry Lesher - Maybe you're not as dumb as you look.
Slim and Max pull Weapon to ringside as Rated R and Gerard Angelo come out to join in a four on one beatdown in the middle of the ring. Rated R holds Weapon up in the ring for Max to land a few shots on him and then Rated R combines with Gerard to deliver a 3-D on Weapon as we see Stevie James and Kumquat Kid coming out from the back, Kosmic Kitty close behind carrying a bat! As we try to fathom Kitty with a bat, Youthful Aggression scatters out of the ring and head in four directions from it as the camera focusses on an injured Lethal Weapon as Kumquat and Stevie stand over him and discuss the garbage they have seen here tonight.
Henry Lesher - Last laugh goes to Youthful Aggression.
Ricky Simms - But can Max snow over three guys next Monday to keep that title? Which of the three contenders has what it takes to be the next world champion? We'll find out next week!
Henry Lesher - Till then, I will enjoy six days of not seeing really bad wrestling.
We then fade to black with the good guys united inside the ring for a change, setting up what should be dynamite matches for Bloodshed next week.
