November 23 Edition
"Just a Girl" by No Doubt plays as Tanja Michaels makes her way onto the stage, the crowd giving her a warm reception. She slowly makes her way down the ramp, seemingly very focused on the match at hand. She then pulls herself onto the ring apron and then jumps over the top rope into the ring. She tests the ropes while her music fades and then we hear "Naked Cousin" by PJ Harvey as Chastity makes her way onto the stage with the Diva title raised high over her head. Corina follows closely behind as Chastity makes her way down the ramp and Chastity hands her fellow Glamour Girl the title belt before she makes her way up the ring steps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Referee Mary Sanderson then calls for the bell and the match is officially started. Chastity moves in and locks up with Tanja, then whips her off the ropes and gives her a back drop to the mat before giving her an elbow smash to the chest and then goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Tanja. Ricky Simms - Good match up here to start things off this week. Henry Lesher - You have quite the sense of humor. Chastity stands Tanja up, whips her into the corner and then goes for a monkey flip from there, but Tanja uses the momentum of the move to land on her feet and then she puts the boots to Chastity. The diva champ then rolls herself out of the ring to the floor with Tanja close behind. Tanja turns Chastity around and takes a vicious upper cut from Chastity, but Tanja answers with a knee to the gut and then gives Chastity a spear to the floor. Tanja then stands Chastity up and slams her face into the steel ring steps and then rolls her into the ring before rolling herself back into the ring. Tanja then places Chastity in a sleeper hold and the referee checks for a submission only to have Chastity refuse to do so as she reaches for the ropes. Ricky Simms - Good comeback here by Tanja Michaels who is standing her ground with Chastity. Henry Lesher - I don't know why anyone watches this garbage. Chastity lunges a second time and manages to grab the bottom rope to force the break. She then pulls herself out to the floor with Tanja again close behind her. Chastity turns and gives Tanja a straight kick to the gut and then picks her up before giving her a power bomb to the floor. Chastity then stands Tanja up and rolls her into the ring before she climbs onto the apron and then delivers a springboard splash onto Tanja before hooking the leg for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tanja. Chastity shakes her head as she stands Tanja up, whips her off the ropes and then gives her a backdrop to the mat. Chastity then stands Tanja up onto to take a jawbreaker from Tanja who then whips Chastity off the ropes and gives her a dropkick to the mat. Tanja then goes to the corner and makes her way to the top rope. Chastity gets to her feet and takes a flying body press to the mat by Tanja who then tries to pin Chastity. 1...2... kick out by Chastity. Ricky Simms - I really thought Tanja had it won there. Henry Lesher - No one cares. This match is terrible. Tanja stands Chastity up, whips her into the corner buckle and then gives her a hip toss back to the middle of the ring and then she stands Chastity up, whips her off the ropes and misses with a clothesline as Chastity ducks it and then she picks Tanja up and gives her a power bomb to the mat. Chastity then places Tanja on the top rope and then Chastity makes her way to the top rope and places Tanja in a headlock. Chastity leaps off the top and gives Tanja a top rope bulldog to the mat. Chastity then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Chastity gets the win over Tanja this week. Ricky Simms - Hard fought win for Chastity here. Henry Lesher - Just be glad it's over. Chastity stands over Tanja for a few moments
and then she helps the young diva to her feet. She then shakes hands
with Tanja and then she exits the ring while nodding her head. She
and Corina then start to make their way up the ramp towards their
locker room. Bruce Miller - This can't be good. Wyatt Gibson - There is no sign of your opponents tonight. Shannon Skanes - That's disappointing. Wyatt Gibson - So you two have the night off. Bruce Miller - Okay, that's good to know. Wyatt Gibson - Myst wants you to leave the building. Shannon Skanes - I'm glad to hear that. We'll take that under advisement. Bruce Miller - Out of the way, Gibson. Wyatt Gibson - I wouldn't go against Myst's suggestion to leave. Bruce Miller - Yeah, we noticed you're quite the ass kisser. Shannon and Bruce chuckle as they shove past
the GM and head off, not making their way towards the exit as of
yet. We then look to another area backstage. EMTs are seen loading
6Pac Dudley up on a gurney, placing a neck brace on the fallen
Superstar who is lying in a pool of blood in the locker room ... a
steel chair lying nearby. The camera pulls back and we see Bombshell
leaning against the entryway, filing her nails. Ray Dees arrives on
the scene and takes in the gruesome sight. "It's a Fight" by Three 6 Mafia plays as Lone Star comes out to a warm response from the crowd. He quickly makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, sliding under the bottom rope into the ring and then he gets to his feet and has a few words with referee Mark Davis. His music then fades and we hear "End of the Line" by Devildriver and Joe Jones comes out to a solid pop from the crowd. He looks down into the ring at Lone Star and then takes a moment on stage to soak in the crowd's energy before he starts to make his way down the ramp. Jones stops at ringside and has a few words for Lone Star before he pulls himself onto the ramp and then steps through the ropes into the ring. The referee calls for the bell as the two combatants glare at one another. Ricky Simms - This is a huge meeting between two major wrestling legends on Overdrive. Henry Lesher - Joe Jones is a legend. Lone Star is the name of the bumbling hero from Spaceballs. Jones moves in and locks up with Lone Star. Jones backs Lone Star into the ropes where the referee asks for a clean break. Lone Star gives Jones an eye gouge as he backs off and then gives Jones a knee to the gut before whipping him through the ropes and out to the floor. Lone Star then goes to the ropes in the corner and makes his way to the top. Jones gets to his feet on the floor and takes a flying clothesline to the floor from Lone Star. Lone Star then stands Jones up, rolls him into the ring and then he goes to the corner buckle and makes his way to the top rope. Lone Star goes for a frog splash off the top, but Jones brings his knees up and catches Lone Star in the gut, knocking the wind out of him. Jones then uses the ropes to quickly get to his feet. Ricky Simms - The tide is turning in Jones' favor here. Henry Lesher - Jones is such a handsome man. Ricky Simms - Oh, here we go. Jones stands Lone Star up, whips him into the corner buckle and then he gives Lone Star a shoulder block in the corner followed by a drop toe hold and then he places Lone Star in a cross face chicken wing. The referee checks for a submission, but Lone Star refuses to give up. Jones tries to strengthen his hold on Lone Star while being unable to get the early submission in this match. Lone Star uses his foot to snag the bottom rope which forces the break. Jones breaks the hold, then stands Lone Star up, whips him off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat. The referee starts counting them both down as we start to hear a chant for Joe Jones. Ricky Simms - A lot of former BLPW fans are here supporting Jones in this one. Henry Lesher - And a lot of BLPW fans realizing Lone Star is a pointless waste of space. On the four count, Joe Jones kips up to his feet only a moment before Lone Star does the same. They then start trading punches in the middle of the ring, then Lone Star knees Jones in the gut and then gives him a gut wrench suplex to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... Jones kicks out. Lone Star then stands Jones up, whips him into the corner and goes for a shoulder block, but Jones steps out of the way and then gives Lone Star a clothesline to the mat. He then stands Lone Star up, whips him off the ropes and kicks him in the gut, doubling him over before delivering the Double Vision which then leads to a pin attempt. 1...2...3! Joe Jones wins his debut match in the CWA. Ricky Simms - Tremendous ability shown by Joe Jones here in his debut, a winning one at that. Henry Lesher - I like this guy. Oh maybe he hates the EVC which is a bad choice, but it's all about money. I can respect that. If he sticks around past the King of Philadelphia, he'll win gold around here. Jones leaves the ring and makes his way back up
the ramp while the fans cheer his win. "Last Resort" by Papa Roach plays as Black Lightning and Donovan Blake emerge onto the stage, the crowd giving them a loud chorus of boos. They tell the camera that someone is about to pay for what happened to 6Pac tonight as they make their way down the ramp towards the ring. Lightning pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring while Blake takes his spot in their corner. Their music then fades and we hear "Crazy Bitch" by Buckcherry as Tommy Purr and Bombshell make their way onto the ramp, the crowd giving them a solid ovation as they do so. Tommy makes his way down the ramp to ringside and is greeted by Donovan Blake on the floor, Blake having opted to leave his corner to confront Tommy. Blake slaps Tommy across the face and they start brawling while Black Lightning climbs the ropes in the corner. He leaps at Tommy, but he takes a kick to the face from Bombshell on his way down. Bombshell then stands Lightning up and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps and then rolls him into the ring before she does the same herself which allows referee Rob Rai to call for the bell and get the match officially started while Bombshell places Lightning's throat across the bottom rope and chokes him with it. Ricky Simms - This one should be a brawl after the attack on 6Pac earlier tonight. Henry Lesher - I certainly hope so, to make up for the garbage we have been fed so far. Bombshell breaks the choke, stands Black Lightning up, and whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick back down to the mat before she tags in Tommy Purr, who has reached their corner. Black Lightning gets to his feet. Tommy swings his leg for a Bitch Kick, but Black Lightning catches his foot and flips it up in the air. Tommy hits a back flip and Lightning goes for a clothesline. Tommy hits a Tommy Tuck backbend evasion and follows through with a handstand head scissors, bringing Lightning crashing to the ground. Ricky Simms - Good move there by Tommy. Henry Lesher - Tommy is the greatest star in this company with Merritt on the shelf. Tommy stands Black Lightning up and takes a thumb to the eye from Lightning who then pulls Tommy to his corner and tags in Donovan Blake. Blake and Lightning then gives Tommy a double vertical suplex to the mat. Blake then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Tommy Purr. Blake then stands Tommy up, whips him off the ropes and Tommy ducks a clothesline before giving Blake a swinging neck breaker to the mat and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... Donovan Blake kicks out. Tommy pulls Donovan to his corner and tags in Bombshell. She leaps over the top rope and starts landing punches to the head on Donovan Blake and then gives him a head butt that sends him down to the mat. Bombshell climbs the turnbuckle. Donovan runs up and meets her, and they begin trading punches on the turnbuckle. Tommy runs over and puts Donovan on his shoulders in the Electric Chair Drop position. Tommy slowly backs away from the turnbuckle as Bombshell grabs Donovan's head from her perched position. Tommy then pushes Donovan forward and follows through into a seated position on the mat as Bombshell jumps from the turnbuckle and they drive Donovan face and chest-first into the mat! Ricky Simms - Fine teamwork shown there by Tommy and Bombshell. Henry Lesher - Stop sounding surprised. Tommy is a God of the ring. Bombshell goes for the pin on Donovan Blake. 1...2... kick out by Blake. Bombshell stands Blake up, whips him off the ropes and he ducks a clothesline and then gives Bombshell a DDT to the mat before he goes for the quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Bombshell. Blake then stands Bombshell up, Bombshell kicks Donovan in the groin and sets him up for Droppin' Da' Bombs. Donovan struggles out of it and lifts up for a Backdrop, but Bombshell won't let go and is stuck in an Alabama Slam position. As Donovan is standing, Tommy hits the ring and nails Donovan in the face with a Dropsault, causing Donovan to fall back and get rolled up in a sunset flip by Bombshell! Bombshell goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Donovan Blake. Ricky Simms - Blake really needs to tag here. Henry Lesher - Like he has a decent partner to make a tag to. Ghost rushes down to the ring and tries to trip Bombshell from outside the ring. Bombshell gets made and hits a Slingshot Dropkick from between the ropes that knocks Ghost on his back. Bombshell hits the arena floor and starts pummeling the mysterious Ghost. Ghost rolls Bombshell over onto her back and takes control, grabbing her by the hair and standing her up before whipping her into the stairs! Ghost goes to do more damage as Bombshell cringes with pain and the crowd explodes with cheers as Jack Spade rushes out from the back for the save. Ghost sees him and tries to run off, jumping the barricade, but Spade catches him by the neck and tries to rip of Ghost's mask! Ghost squirms and manages to wriggle free, knocking Spade back before disappearing through the crowd. Ricky Simms - What the heck was Ghost doing out here? Henry Lesher - Getting beat up. Bombshell rolls herself back into the ring as the referee finally calls for the bell. He declares that Tommy and Bombshell win by disqualification due to interference by Ghost tonight. Black Lightning climbs the ropes in the corner and gives the referee a flying body press to the mat while the fans then boo. Lightning and Blake exit the ring and say that this isn't over. Ricky Simms - Tommy and Bombshell win by DQ, but this isn't over and Total Darkness will not be impressed with Ghost here. Henry Lesher - No one is impressed by or with
Ghost. Neriah Sweet - Vertigo, may I have a minute of your time? Vertigo - *looks her up and down* Yeah, sounds good. What do you want? Neriah Sweet - Well, last week you made an explosive entrance into the CWA with an attack on your former employer and you took his title. Vertigo - Look, JC and I have some unfinished business with his finished business. I need to get paid. Neriah Sweet - Well, word has it you have received a good contract with this company. Vertigo - Yeah, I have. That doesn't change the fact that JC owes me and this belt means he has to pay attention to me. This belt, his title, is mine. Neriah Sweet - But you would give it back if he paid you what he owes you. Vertigo - He would still have to ask me nicely. Now, I have a match tonight, so I am going to have to agree to continue this later. Vertigo gets up and leaves, the TV title over
his shoulder as he does so. "X Gonna Give It To Ya" by DMX plays as Xtasy is walked onto the stage by his Sean Bean cut out. He smiles for the cheering crowd as he makes his way down the ramp, the cut out at his side. Xtasy stops at ringside and has a few words for the cut out before he pulls himself onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. His music then fades and we hear "Ladies and Gentlemen" by Saliva and the crowd gets to their feet again for Vertigo as he receives a loud ovation as well, coming out with the TV title over his shoulder. He shows the title to the camera and tells JC he can come and get it when he has his money. Vertigo then rushes down the ramp to ringside, places the title belt on the timekeeper's table and then pulls himself onto the ring apron where he looks over at the Sean Bean cut out and shakes his head before stepping into the ring. Referee Steve Blake calls for the bell and the match has started. Ricky Simms - This is a double CWA debut, though we have seen Xtasy before. He wasn't exactly welcomed back by Frank Merritt last week. Henry Lesher - Frank isn't here tonight because of X. He knew X would be here, so he's not here. Vertigo locks up with Xtasy. Vertigo backs Xtasy into the corner buckle and the referee asks for a clean break. They back off and then Xtasy knees Vertigo in the gut and then rakes his eyes along the top rope, then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Vertigo. Xtasy then stands Vertigo up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a shoulder block that sends him back down to the mat where Xtasy goes for a knee drop, but Vertigo rolls out of the way and then he quickly gets to his feet. Vertigo kicks Xtasy in the gut twice, then picks him up and slams him back down to the mat. Vertigo then gives Xtasy a leg drop across the throat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Xtasy. Ricky Simms - Great early start here as both men get near pin falls. Henry Lesher - They are kings of the almost. Vertigo stands Xtasy up, whips him off the ropes and both men dropkick each other to the mat. The referee starts counting both men down as the crowd starts a chant for Xtasy. On the three count, Vertigo grabs the bottom rope and starts to get to his feet. Xtasy slowly gets to his feet after Vertigo and takes a clothesline right over the top rope and out to the floor. Vertigo then waits for Xtasy to get to his feet before he dives through the ropes, landing a suicide dive onto Xtasy that brings him down to the floor again. Vertigo then stands Xtasy up, then sets for and delivers a snap suplex to the floor. Vertigo then gets to his feet and puts the boots to Xtasy, then rolls himself into the ring and then back out, breaking up the count. Vertigo stands Xtasy up and takes a jawbreaker from Xtasy who then whips Vertigo shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Xtasy then picks Vertigo up and slams him to the floor before he rolls himself into the ring and back out, again breaking up the count. Ricky Simms - Both men are choosing to fight this match on the floor. Henry Lesher - They are having a fight and I am glad to see it. Xtasy stands Vertigo up and whips him into the steel guard railing and then rolls him back into the ring before rolling himself in and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Vertigo and Xtasy shakes his head in disbelief. Xtasy then stands Vertigo up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. Xtasy then goes to the corner and climbs to the top rope. Vertigo gets to his feet and takes a missile dropkick off the top rope from Xtasy who again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Vertigo. Xtasy then pulls Vertigo to the middle of the ring and then he proceeds to apply a sharpshooter on the former BLPW champ. Ricky Simms - Xtasy in complete control at this point. Henry Lesher - Nice of him to wear Vertigo down for JC tonight. Vertigo refuses to submit when asked by the referee. He then starts to pull himself towards the ropes while a section of fans start a chant for him. Xtasy struggles to maintain his hold on Vertigo and then Vertigo manages to grab the bottom rope which forces the break. Vertigo rolls himself out to the floor and Xtasy drops and rolls himself out after him. Xtasy then takes a kick to the gut from Vertigo who then gives Xtasy a clothesline to the floor. Vertigo then stands Xtasy up and slams his face into the ring apron and then rolls him into the ring before doing the same himself. Vertigo then stands Xtasy up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a hip toss to the mat and then stands Xtasy up, picks him up and gives him the Vertigo Drop to the mat and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Vertigo wins in his debut match tonight. Ricky Simms - Wow, both men showed up tonight and put on one helluva match. Henry Lesher - I am impressed that two seemingly talentless foes could have a good match, so I begrudgingly agree with you. Vertigo leaves the ring and looks in at Xtasy
and then he pats the Sean Bean cut out on the back, allowing himself
to smirk. He then grabs his TV title belt and slings it over his
shoulder before he starts to make his way back up the ramp. Wyatt Gibson - You're just getting here now? Moose - You worried about me? Wyatt Gibson - You could have missed your match. Moose - I am fighting the champ. I knew I could stop and have a beer with Vig before the show. Wyatt Gibson - You're under the influence? Moose - Easy there, chicky. I said a beer, not a keg. I am good to go. Wyatt Gibson - You have better be. Moose - I will continue being the best kept secret in the CWA, the legend no one remembers. Wyatt Gibson - That's not true. Moose - Hey, I fly alone and I don't whine or bitch. I get forgotten and that's fine. Just remember after I beat Eli tonight, you can't ignore me anymore. Moose then pushes his way past Wyatt and to his
dressing room. "Voices" by Rev Theory plays as Malk makes his way onto the stage, JC Michaels still inside the ring. Malk looks down towards the floor, ignoring the loud ovation from the fans. He shakes his head as he reaches ringside and looks up at JC. Malk paces at ringside and the crowd starts a chant for him. Ricky Simms - Malk is a conflicted man and his promo this week showed the internal torment this man has been through. It's tough to watch right now. Henry Lesher - Well, he is against a better man and he knows it. He said he wasn't ready for JC Michaels. Malk pulls himself onto the apron and looks at a confused JC who tells him to get into the ring. Malk slowly steps through the ropes which allows referee Steve Blake to call for the bell and officially start this match. Malk moves in and locks up with JC, then whips him off the ropes and gives him a knee to the gut that sends him through the air before he crashes to the mat. Malk then starts pacing again and appears to be arguing with himself. Ricky Simms - What is wrong with Malk? Henry Lesher - Reality is crushing him. Malk turns away from JC Michaels, then drops and rolls himself out to the floor which draws boos from the crowd as a baffled JC gets to his feet inside the ring. JC shakes his head as the referee starts to count Malk out. Malk doesn't look back or even look up from the floor as the referee does reach the ten count and declares JC Michaels to be the winner of this match. JC doesn't allow his arm to be raised and can be seen cursing Malk from the ring, though this doesn't draw a reaction from Malk either. Ricky Simms - Something is wrong with Malk. Henry Lesher - Something was always wrong with
Malk. Moose - What are you doing here? Shannon Skanes - Bruce and I were waiting for you tonight. Moose - I don't know that I like the sound of that, has a Deliverance sort of feel to it. Shannon Skanes - Moose, you're a lone man against the world. Moose - I am used to that. Shannon Skanes - Maybe it's time to get ourselves together. Moose - Ourselves? Shannon Skanes - Well, we were both EOS members. Moose - You were an EOS member for a week, Shannon, then you bitched your way out of it. Don't try to rewrite history. If EOS were the Horsemen, you were Paul Roma. Moose storms off and Shannon can be heard to
sigh heavily before we return to the ring. "We Kill Everything" by GWAR plays as The Nameless makes his way onto the stage, the crowd giving him a mixed reaction. He marches his way down the ramp, his face hidden behind a shapeless mask. He stops at ringside and looks around at the fans before he pulls himself onto the apron and then steps over the top rope into the ring. He then stands in the very center of the ring while his music fades and then we hear "Stem" by Crossbreed and Shadow comes out wearing an EVC T-shirt which draws boos from the crowd. Shadow marches down the ramp towards the ring with a smirk on his face. Ricky Simms - The confident new member of EVC is here and makes his in ring debut against Nameless who it took multiple shots with a baseball bat to finally take a pin from Sal last week. Henry Lesher - And Sal isn't here this week. Nameless just takes it out of people. Shadow pulls himself up onto the ring apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Referee Rob Rai calls for the bell and the match starts with Shadow walking towards Nameless only to take a big boot to the chest followed by a shoulder block to the mat where Nameless then crouches over Shadow and lands punches to the head on the debuting star. Nameless then two handed chokes the downed Shadow while the referee threatens to disqualify the masked aggressor. Nameless stands Shadow up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a series of shoulder blocks from there. Nameless then gives Shadow a snap mare to the middle of the ring and applies a headlock on him. Ricky Simms - Nameless is in complete control now. Henry Lesher - This is the first real match we have had between real wrestlers. Shadow gets to his feet and backs Nameless to the ropes, then whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick when he comes back to the middle of the ring. Shadow then quickly gets to his feet and then starts landing kicks and punches on Nameless before shoving him through the ropes and out to the floor. Shadow then drops and rolls himself out to the floor and then he slams Nameless' head into the steel guard railing. Shadow then gives Nameless a bulldog to the floor before standing over the former AW champ and smiling. Ricky Simms - Shadow is gaining confidence here as the match moves along. Henry Lesher - Hey, it would feel good surviving an attack from Nameless. Shadows stands Nameless up and rolls him into the ring before he rolls himself in and then he pulls Nameless to the middle of the ring and then applies a figure four on the big man. The referee checks for a submission, but Nameless shows no signs of being willing to give up here. Nameless then starts trying to turn the hold over while Shadow tries to hold it as is. Nameless tries turning both ways to roll the hold over and then he is finally able to reverse it. Shadow screams in pain, but has the presence of mind to grab the bottom rope to force the break before being forced to submit. Shadow then gets to his feet and kicks Nameless in the head before he has a chance to stand. Shadow then applies an arm bar on Nameless who then gets to his feet and then gives Shadow a series of knife edge chops that back him into the corner buckle. Nameless gives Shadow a knee lift and then gives him a spinning power slam to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... Shadow rolls a shoulder out. Ricky Simms - This is turning into quite the battle. Henry Lesher - Rare that I agree with you as much as I have tonight, but yeah, this is actually a decent fight. Nameless stands Shadow up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a shoulder block, but Shadow doesn't go down. Shadow then thumbs Nameless in the eye and then gives him a knee to the gut and then gives him a stunner before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Nameless and Shadow slaps the mat. He tells the referee that was a three count and then he stands Nameless up, whips him off the ropes and Nameless ducks a clothesline and then gives Shadow a head butt and then whips him over the top rope and out to the floor. Nameless then drops and rolls himself out to the floor after Shadow. He stands Shadow up and takes another thumb to the eye from Shadows who then spears Nameless to the floor. Shadows then reaches over the guard railing and shoves a fan aside before picking up his chair, folding it and then he drives it into the skull of Nameless. The referee calls for the bell and Shadow has been disqualified. Shadow drills Nameless over the head with the chair twice more and then gives him a running smack to the face with it, bringing the big man down before Shadow throws the chair down on the fallen Nameless. Ricky Simms - Shadow got tired of trying to win the match, so he tried to cripple Nameless here. Henry Lesher - I must say that's a great strategy. He is the one walking out of here and Nameless again shows just how tough he is. No one can pin his shoulders down on their own merits. Ricky Simms - Nameless is a monster and a dangerous one at that. Shadow is seen making his way up the ramp with
his arms raised and telling the camera that he is the last man
standing. The crowd boos and we look backstage. Kosmic Kitty - You wanted to see me? Myst - Yes, I did actually. Kosmic Kitty - I should get back out there, because I have to announce the next match. Myst - Yeah, about that... I need to re-evaluate your talent. Kosmic Kitty - Meaning what? Myst - We have been making cut backs and we don't think paying a ring announcer what you make it good business sense. Kosmic Kitty - You're firing me? Myst - No, I am putting you inside the ring as a wrestler. If you want to keep your job, you have to wrestle, and you had better win. You only get paid when you win. Kosmic Kitty - That's not fair. Myst - Life isn't fair. I can go with the firing thing, Samantha. It's really your call. Kosmic Kitty - I haven't wrestled in a long time. Myst - Then you had better leave my office and get into shape. Off you go now. Myst waves her off and Kitty storms out, Jordan shaking her head. Jordan Gibson - She isn't impressed. Myst - It should make for great TV. That's what this is all about. Jordan then leaves the we return to the ring. "Eagles Dare" by The Misfits plays as Moose makes his way onto the stage where the crowd gives him a warm response. He then starts to make his way down the ramp towards the ring and high fives some fans in the crowd before he rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring, then he stands in the middle of the ring waiting for his opponent. "For You" by Paperback Hero then plays and the crowd gives its loudest ovation of the night to Eli Ryder. He has the CWA title over his shoulder as he makes his way down the ramp, also giving fans high fives as he reaches ringside. He then hands the title belt off to the timekeeper before he makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron and then pulls himself through the ropes into the ring. Ricky Simms - Moose believes he can and will defeat Eli here tonight. Henry Lesher - Moose also thinks that drinking beer before a match is a good idea. Referee Mark Davis calls for the bell to get the match officially started. Eli locks up with Moose, backs him into the corner buckle and then Eli gives Moose a knee lift to the gut followed by a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. Moose then responds with a knee to the gut of his own and then gives Eli a series of forearm smashes that back him up to the center of the ring before Moose then whips him back into the corner and gives him a splash there for good measure before giving Eli a face buster to the mat and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Eli. Ricky Simms - Early control goes to Moose here. Henry Lesher - Even drunk, Moose is better than Eli. Moose stands Eli up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a tilt a whirl backbreaker before he again goes for the pin. 1...2... Eli rolls a shoulder out. Moose then stands Eli up, whips him into the corner buckle and charges in for a shoulder block, but Eli is able to get out of the way and he then gives Moose a series of double axe handle smashes across the back. Eli then places Moose in a headlock and then gives him a vertical suplex to the mat, then stands him up and gives him another vertical suplex before he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Eli then stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a round house kick to the jaw that sends him back down to the mat. Eli then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. He then leaps off and misses with a flyinf elbow smash as Moose rolls out of the way. Ricky Simms - Eli goes high risk and misses as Moose anticipates the move. Henry Lesher - Even drunk, Moose is quicker than Eli. Moose gets to his feet and puts the boots to Eli who rolls himself out to the floor for a breather. Eli paces on the floor for a few moments and then pulls himself onto the apron. Moose gives him a series of punches to the head from the ring. Eli gives Moose a shoulder block through the ropes and then steps back into the ring. Eli gives Moose an eye gouge and then rakes his eyes along the top rope. Eli then whips Moose off the ropes and then gives him a backdrop to the mat. Eli then opts to climb the ropes again. This time, he manages to hit his mark with the flying elbow smash and then goes for the pin. 1...2... Moose kicks out. Ricky Simms - I really thought Eli had him there. Henry Lesher - Even drunk, Moose knows when to kick out. Eli stands Moose up, whips him off the ropes and Moose ducks a clothesline before he gives Eli a reverse neck breaker to the mat. Both men lay in the center of the ring for a few moments and then Eli kips up to his feet. Moose rolls over and gets to his hands and knees where Eli then kicks him in the ribs. Eli kicks Moose a second and third time, causing him to roll himself out to the floor. Eli drops and rolls himself out after Moose. Eli starts trading punches with Moose on the floor. Moose slams Eli's head into the ring apron and then gives him a body slam to the floor. Moose then stands Eli up and whips him shoulder first into the steel guard railing before Moose rolls himself back into the ring. The referee continues the count he had started on both men while Eli struggles to get to his feet. Eli grabs the middle ropes and starts to pull himself into the ring as the referee reaches the ten count and calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - It appears that Moose won this match by count out. Henry Lesher - Even drunk... Ricky Simms - Oh shut up! Moose rolls himself out to the
