October 12th,
2008 "Suicide Messiah" by
Black Label Society blares over the PA system as the fans start
booing. With that, Gary Barber, JC Michaels, Dragon and Eternity are
making their way to the ring. Tony Parizi - Look what the rat dragged in. Sal Clemenzo - Hey, Tony, saw what you did last week. You're in no position to call me a rat. Tony Parizi - I am just doing what a man has to do. I play for the winning team. Sal Clemenzo - You're a cancer, Parizi. Tony Parizi - You fancy yourself as the cure? Sal Clemenzo - Just letting you know that I am keeping my eye on all the goings on around here. Tony Parizi - If you're smart, you'll stay out of it. Sal Clemenzo - You can't threaten me, Parizi. You're not the tough guy you once were. Sal turns and walks away
from a seething Tony Parizi. "Southtown" by POD plays as 6Pac Dudley comes out onto the stage, drawing a mixed reaction from the crowd. He then makes his way down the ramp towards the ring, He stops at ringside and looks around at the crowd for a moment before he pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. We then hear "Firefly" by Breaking Benjamin and the crowd boos as new Aerial champ, Daniel McCoy, makes his way onto the stage. He is followed down the ramp by Ebony Fairchild and he hands her the belt when he reaches ringside. He then pulls himself onto the apron and takes a dropkick from 6Pac which sends him right back to the floor. 6Pac then slides out of the ring and goes after Ebony who has the belt. He starts to shout at her, telling her that is his belt while Daniel McCoy gets his bearings behind 6Pac. McCoy kicks 6Pac in the back, turns him around and then slams his head into the steel ring steps before rolling him into the ring and then rolling himself into the ring which allows referee Rob Rai to call for the bell to get the match started. McCoy boot chokes 6Pac while holding onto the ropes for added leverage while the referee warns him he could get disqualified. Ricky Simms - I don't imagine we'll see a lot of technical wrestling in this one. Henry Lesher - Well, one can't wrestle and the other has only beaten Hoshi, so there you go. McCoy releases the choke and then stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick that sends him down to the mat. McCoy then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. He then goes for a flying elbow to the chest on 6Pac, but Dudley rolls out of the way. Dudley then quickly gets to his feet and then starts landing rights and lefts to the head on McCoy before he then whips the Aerial champ through the ropes and out to the floor. 6Pac then drops and rolls himself out to the floor and then he stands McCoy up and then gives him a snap suplex to the floor. 6Pac then stands McCoy up and whips him shoulder first into the steel corner post. Ricky Simms - 6Pac is really showing some serious aggression in this match, Henry Lesher - I would be pretty difficult if I had wrestled for years and years only to lose to Hoshi, too. 6Pac rolls Daniel McCoy back into the ring and then himself and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by McCoy. 6Pac then stands McCoy up, whips him into the corner buckle and then runs in for a shoulder block, but McCoy steps aside and drives 6Pac shoulder first into the corner post before rolling him into a school boy pinfall attempt. 1...2... kick out by 6Pac Dudley. McCoy stands 6Pac up, whips him off the ropes and then does a handspring into a head scissors that he uses to bring Dudley back down to the mat. McCoy then places 6Pac in a sleeper hold and the referee checks for a submission, but 6Pac is unwilling to give up. Ricky Simms - McCoy here is one week removed from chocking the CWA with an upset win to become the Aerial champ. Henry Lesher - It didn't upset me. 6Pac rolls himself to the ropes and manages to grab the bottom rope to force the break. 6Pac then gets to his feet and starts trading punches with McCoy. 6Pac whips McCoy off the ropes and gives him a backdrop to the mat. McCoy then rolls himself out of the ring looking to regroup, but 6Pac is again on the floor with him. McCoy reaches under the ring and pulls out a crow bar and then clocks 6Pac with it, in plain sight of the referee who calls for the bell. McCoy then drills 6Pac in the back with the crow bar and then starts choking him with it while security rushes out to break the proceedings up. Ricky Simms - McCoy has been disqualified, but he apparently is set on payback for last week's attack. Henry Lesher - Good move by McCoy. I like people who beat 6Pac down like this. Security pulls McCoy off
of 6Pac while the crowd boos and we look backstage. Shannon Skanes - The Parizi daughters have jobs here now? Why does this not surprise me? Lydia Parizi - You're wrestling Ghost tonight. Your thoughts? Shannon Skanes - This company is going straight to hell. Its fate was sealed last week with a heart punch. Cordelia Parizi - This is hardly an answer to what she asked you. Shannon Skanes - Girls, I don't have the patience for this right now. Lydia Parizi - You're just a wrestler now. You can't make us leave. Shannon Skanes - I can tell you to piss off though. I was trying to be nice about it. Cordelia Parizi - Myst said you would be like this, moping about losing the company. Shannon Skanes - Who's moping? I'm glad she has the damned thing. She can keep it. I feel better than I have felt in years, maybe a decade. Shannon then gets up and leaves the locker room. When the Parizi sisters start to follow, they are headed off by Bruce Miller who simply smirks and shakes his head. Bruce Miller - He's done talking for tonight. I won't be as nice as he is about it either. Back off. They back down and we
return to the ring. "A Torrid Love Affair" by Boy's Night Out plays as Ghost makes his way onto the stage, drawing a mixed reaction from a crowd who are uncertain of his motives in coming to the CWA. Ghost makes his way down the ramp towards the ring and then pulls himself onto the apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. He then tests the ropes while his music fades and then we hear "Sic Transit Gloria" by Brand New and Shannon Skanes is walked out onto the stage by new manager Bruce Miller. They then make their way down the ramp towards the ring, talking to one another as they do so. Shannon then makes his way up the ring steps onto the apron while Bruce takes his spot at ringside and looks around for any possible outside interference. Shannon then enters the ring and referee Mark Davis calls for the bell to get this match started. Ghost offers to shake hands with Shannon and Shannon looks to the fans and then back at Ghost. He shakes hands with the masked superstar without any incident and then the two men lock up. Ricky Simms - Seems like going back in time with Shannon and Bruce together again. Henry Lesher - Well, no one on the current roster will be seen with him, so he had to find a fossil to stand at his side. Ghost backs Shannon into the ropes and then the referee asks for a clean break. Ghost backs off and Shannon nods before moving in and giving Ghost a series of forearm smashes to the jaw. He then whips Ghost into the corner and gives him an inverted atomic drop from there and then whips him off the ropes and gives him a knee to the gut followed by a swinging neck breaker to the mat where he goes for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Ghost. Shannon then stands Ghost up, whips him off the ropes and misses with a clothesline when Ghost ducks it and then he gives Shannon a knee to the side followed by a gut wrench suplex to the mat. Ghost then stands Shannon up, whips him off the ropes and then gives him a dropkick that sends him down to the mat. Ghost then goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shannon. Ricky Simms - Good back and forth action in this one. Henry Lesher - Yeah, I find it boring, too. Ghost stands Shannon up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a hip toss back to the middle of the ring. Ghost then lands a knee drop to the chest on the former owner and again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shannon. Ghost then stands Shannon up and sets for a vertical suplex, but Shannon blocks it and then delivers a vertical suplex on Ghost instead. Shannon then stands Ghost up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a shoulder block that rattles him, but does not bring the masked man down. Shannon and Ghost then start trading knife edge chops to the chest. Ghost then eye gouges Shannon, whips him into the corner buckle and gives him a knee to the gut before delivering a double under hook suplex to the mat where he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shannon. Ricky Simms - This newcomer is giving Shannon all he can handle. Henry Lesher - I know. It's horribly boring to watch. It's like a Two and a Half Men marathon in there, just without any actual men. As Ghost stands Shannon up, we see Frank Merritt making his way out from backstage and making his way down the ramp with a baseball bat in hand. He has a twisted grin on his face. Inside the ring, Ghost gives Shannon a body slam to the mat while Frank continues marching his way to the ring. Frank is then caught with a chop block from behind by Sal Clemenzo. Sal then grabs the baseball bat from Frank and rears back as if he might strike Merritt over the head with it when we see Myst emerging onto the stage with a microphone in hand. Myst - No you don't, Sal! No you don't! If you do that, you're suspended! Your match with Frank is later tonight. Sal shrugs, places the bat over his shoulder and starts making his way towards the new CWA owner while Frank is unable to stand on his now injured knee. Myst - Don't even think of striking me, Sal! I swear, if you hit me, I will.... Sal simply walks past Myst and into the backstage area. Inside the ring, Ghost and Shannon have been completely distracted by what's been going on and it's Ghost who reacts first and rolls Shannon into a small package for the pin. 1...2...3! Ghost gets the win in surprising fashion over Shannon Skanes tonight. Ricky Simms - Shocking twist at the end of this match. Myst sent Frank out to cost Shannon the match and that's what happened, though not how she intended. Henry Lesher - Sal is a
decent guy, but hitting Frank like that is career suicide. Wyatt Gibson - Sal, we can talk about this. Sal Clemenzo - Who the hell does she think she is, talking to me like that? Wyatt Gibson - Sal, this is Myst's car. You can't just smash her car up like this. Sal Clemenzo - Or what, tough guy? What are you, a general manager, gonna do to me? Wyatt Gibson - I... uh..... look, I am just doing my job. Sal Clemenzo - And I am doing my job. She said I can't touch her bitch partner Frank and that I can't touch her either, so I touch her car. I touch it as I choose to touch it. Wyatt Gibson - But you work for the CWA. Sal Clemenzo - I work for no one. She won't touch me because I am a former champion. I make her money. She knows it. Go ahead and ask her what she's gonna do to me. Sal turns and starts to walk away and then smiles as he turns back to Wyatt. Sal Clemenzo - Gibson, you try being the boss of me again and it will be the end of your career as glorified gopher. You got that? Wyatt Gibson - Yeah, sure, whatever you say Sal. Sal Clemenzo - Damn, you're spineless. I wave a little gun around and you're afraid to die. Where do they find these people, honestly? Sal storms off and we
return to the ring. "Piece of Me" by Britney Spears plays as Bombshell makes her way onto the stage, the Diva Title over her shoulder. She gets a warm reception from the crowd while carrying a picture of Shannon Skanes in her hand. She kisses the picture and then hands it to a fan in the front row. She then continues her march to the ring, waving to the fans and appearing to be very happy with her current situation. She then steps up onto the apron and then leaps over the top rope into the ring before she does a few jumping jacks, her music fading. We then hear "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men as Gary Barber comes out to loud boos from the crowd. He is accompanied by Eternity and they make their way down the ramp towards the ring, looking out for any possible attackers tonight. Ricky Simms - These guys got more than they bargained for when Lone Star showed up earlier tonight. Henry Lesher - Well, that does even things up a little, but Scavenger is a mongrel idiot and Malk tends to wear his shirts inside out. They're not the brightest bulbs around here and that's saying something with Pyro back on the roster. Barber steps up onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Referee Mary Sanderson calls for the bell and the match is underway. Barber moves in to lock up with Bombshell only to take a knee to the gut from Bombshell who then gives Barber a jawbreaker that sends him falling back to the ropes, his arms getting tangled between the top and middle rope. Bombshell then lands a series of kicks and knife edge chops on Barber while the referee struggles to free him from the ropes. The referee frees Barber and then Barber gives Bombshell an eye gouge and follows that up with a choke slam that brings her down to the mat. Ricky Simms - That's a disadvantage Bombshell has against men inside the ring. They don't have to be big men to choke slam her slight frame. Henry Lesher - That's why she usually sleeps with them to destroy their talent. 6Pac lost to Hoshi, Spade isn't champ anymore and Gerry is dead. What more proof do you need? Ricky Simms - What about Tommy? Henry Lesher - Tommy is a God, not a mortal man. Gary Barber picks Bombshell up and slams her down to the mat and then gives her a leg drop across the throat before going for the pin. 1...2... Bombshell rolls a shoulder out. Barber stands Bombshell up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a backdrop to the mat, but Bombshell manages to land on her feet and then gives Barber a dropkick to the back that sends him out through the ropes to the floor. Bombshell then waits for Barber to stand before she jumps to the top rope, leaps off and gives Barber a Hurricarana to the floor which draws loud cheers from the crowd. Henry Lesher - That move is half way to Barber sleeping with her. Ricky Simms - Give it a rest, Doc. Bombshell stands Barber up and rams his head into the ring apron before she rolls him back into the ring. Bombshell then has a few word with Eternity on the floor before she pulls herself onto the apron, then jumps to the top rope and goes for a leg drop from there only to have Barber roll out of the way. Gary Barber then quickly gets to his feet and places Bombshell in a headlock and then gives her a DDT to the mat before rolling her over for the pin. 1...2... Bombshell gets a foot on the bottom rope. Barber glares at the referee as he stands Bombshell up and then he whips her into the corner buckle. He then gives her a big boot to the chin that causes her to fall to her knees in the corner. Henry Lesher - Looks like she wants to seal the deal here. Ricky Simms - You're a sick man. Barber then pulls Bombshell to the middle of the ring and then gives her the Crown of Lead before he goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Gary Barber scores another win this week as he continues his march towards the top of the CWA. Ricky Simms - Impressive win. Henry Lesher - Barber overcame Bombshell's sexual advances and his career is intact. Barber leaves the ring
and he and Eternity start to make their way up the ramp, clearly
still concerned that an attack could be coming at them from any
angle. Though they are concerned, no attack is made as they continue
to the backstage area. Myst - You should knock first. Frank Merritt - I am more important than this twig. Hoshi Yakamoto - Thanks for your time. Myst - I'll see that you get your shot at McCoy. Hoshi makes her way to the door only to be blocked by Frank. Frank Merritt - Vote Merritt in 08 or else. I know where you live. He then steps aside and Hoshi can't escape the office fast enough. Myst - You really should change the campaign slogan. What do you want? Frank Merritt - I want Sal inside that ring. Myst - You and me both. I have been looking things over and the answer to me is simple, kill two birds with one stone. Shannon teams with Sal Clemenzo next week to face you and Tommy. Frank Merritt - Tommy's not a fan of your regime. Myst - If he wants a paycheck, he will be a good lap dog and do as he's told. Frank Merritt - If he backs out, I can take them both myself. Myst - If he backs out, both Shannon and Sal will get a worse fate than next week's loss. Frank Merritt - Just give me a shot at Sal. Oh, and tell Jack Spade I said he can go to hell, too. Myst - Will do. Frank is satisfied with
her response and leaves the office, allowing us to return to the
ring for the main event. "Suicide Messiah" by Black Label Society plays as JC Michaels makes his way onto the stage for the second time tonight. He is followed closely by Dragon as they make their way down the ramp, the crowd greeting them with the same warmth they gave Gary Barber in the last match. JC and Dragon pause at ringside and have a few words. Dragon then waves to the back and Eternity and Gary Barber start to make their way down the ramp which causes the booing to get louder. Ricky Simms - This isn't good for Moose. Henry Lesher - Maybe he'll be smart and just stay out then. Ricky Simms - Moose never backs down from a fight. Henry Lesher - Which makes him likely to get badly hurt tonight. JC Michaels rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring, his allies covering three sides of the ring. We then hear "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits as Moose makes his way onto the stage. He shakes his head as he looks at the number of men he's going to have hunting him in this match, but he makes his way down the ramp towards his destiny anyway. Moose stops at the bottom of the ramp and smirks at Eternity and has a few words for him. Moose then makes his way up the ring steps and steps through the ropes into the ring which allows referee Steve Blake to call for the bell and officially start the match. Ricky Simms - As I said, Moose never backs down. Henry Lesher - So he is going to get killed then. JC moves in and locks up with Moose. Moose then breaks it by shoving JC backwards and then gives him a head butt before whipping him off the ropes. Moose then gives JC a backdrop to the mat and then lands an elbow smash to the chest on JC. Moose then stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and tries for a shoulder block, but neither men budge. They then start trading rights and lefts to the head and then JC eye gouges Moose. Moose eye gouges JC and whips him through the ropes and onto Dragon, sending them both to the floor in a heap. Moose then shakes his head and invites Dragon into the ring. Ricky Simms - Moose knows Dragon well. Henry Lesher - I don't remember Dragon being on his Christmas card list. Dragon has a few words for Moose as JC pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Moose greets JC with another barrage on punches to the head and then gives him a clothesline right back out to the floor. Moose then looks around the ring and appears to be challenging all four men at once. Barber and Eternity climb onto the apron, but we then hear "Voices" by Rev Theory and Malk runs out onto the stage and down the ramp. JC Michaels slides back into the ring while Malk starts fighting Gary Barger, Eternity and Dragon by himself. His punches meet their mark, but he is soon overwhelmed as Eternity catches him with an upper cut and Barber then spears him to the floor. Inside the ring, Moose stands JC Michaels up, whips him off the ropes and JC ducks a clothesline and then gives Moose a reverse neck breaker to the mat. Ricky Simms - The fight inside the ring is getting a run for its money with the scrum outside the ring. Henry Lesher - Malk is a complete idiot, charging out here alone like that. Outside the ring, we see Scavenger charging down the ramp to come to the aid of Malk. He is soon joined by Lone Star and the odds are even on the floor while inside the ring, JC stands Moose up and whips him off the ropes. JC gives Moose a clothesline to the mat and then looks onto the floor where the one sided battle has been evened as it was to start the night, as well. JC shouts out to his allies at ringside, then turns his attention back to Moose. He stands Moose up and takes a knee to the gut and then Moose picks JC up and power slams him to the mat before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by JC Michaels. Ricky Simms - Despite the carnage at ringside, the battle inside the ring continues. Henry Lesher - Someone should have informed Lone Star about how much Scavenger and Malk both suck. He has aligned himself with idiots. Moose stands JC up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick that sends him back down to the mat. Moose then goes to the top rope. Gary Barber spots him on the top rope and pulls the feet out from under Moose which causes the referee to call for the bell. JC Michaels starts putting the boots to the fallen Moose while Eternity and Dragon roll themselves into the ring. Scavenger soon follows with Lone Star and the ring has turned into a mosh pit. Ricky Simms - This fight is nowhere near over. Henry Lesher - Moose has to get out of there or they'll think he's aligned with Scavenger and Malk, too. Security rushes into the ring to separate the wrestlers inside the ring as everyone is in the squared circle now. We then hear "A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park and Myst makes her way onto the stage. Myst - Wow, that's a lot of man meat inside that ring right now! Normally Wyatt Gibson would come out here to make an announcement, but it's my turn tonight. Four on four, in two weeks, JC teams with Dragon, Eternity and Gary Barber against Scavenger, Malk, Lone Star and Moose. If you want to have a brawl, we'll make it a brawl. I could care less if you guys all kill each other. You'll have your chance to di it in two weeks. See you then, fellas. Ricky Simms - That match will be huge! Henry Lesher - And heavily favoring JC and the boys. I told you Moose would end up lumped with the losers. It's his own fault, I guess. Ricky Simms - Well, fans, next week we will crown a TV champ. A tournament will happen inside that ring and a new title will be added to the CWA. Henry Lesher - No Hoshi allowed, I hope. We fade to black as security struggles to keep the warring factions apart. |
