October 5th,
2008 Ray Dees - What brings you lovely ladies here tonight? Rose - We came to watch Ricky and Julian. Ray Dees - They are not scheduled to wrestle, though. Jeannie - Really? But this is a big night and they are big stars. Ray Dees - Well, you're half right. Rose - What are you trying to say? Ray Dees - They have not exactly been setting the CWA on fire since they got here. Jeannie - So you're slamming our men? Ray Dees - Your men? The way they tell it, they barely even like you girls. Rose has heard enough and
she clotheslines Ray down. Her and Jeannie put the boots to Ray
before we cut to Ricky Simms and Henry Lesher ready to call
tonight's action. "Shut Your Mouth" by PAIN plays as Frank Merritt steps out onto the stage, though he is already brawling with Jack Spade. They exchange punches to the head as the fans cheer and then Frank gives Jack an eye gouge and then a knee to the gut before giving him a DDT to the stage while referee Mark Davis hurries up the ramp, calling for the bell to get the match started. Frank is already going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Jack Spade. Ricky Simms - Fantastic way to open the show, a brutal battle between two top superstars in this company! Henry Lesher - Frank is going to make this quick, so don't get your hopes up for Spade here. Frank picks Jack up, then slams him to the steel stage. Frank then goes for a leg drop on the fallen Spade, but Jack rolls out of the way and Frank's tailbone strikes the steel instead of his opponent. Frank then struggles to ger to his feet while Jack Spade starts to crawl down the ramp towards the ring. Frank regains his composure and starts putting the boots to Jack Spade. Frank then pulls Jack to his feet and takes a thumb to the eye from Jack who then lands a low blow on Frank. Spade then gives Frank a series of forearm smashes to the side of the head before giving him a clothesline to the ramp. Jack then grabs Frank's legs and pulls him down the ramp towards the ring. Ricky Simms - Looks like Spade has his hopes up. Henry Lesher - Spade is the CWA's Sarah Palin. Near the top, yeah, but he sucks. Ricky Simms - No politics on the air, Doc. Henry Lesher - I am voting for Frank Merritt in November. He'll fix everything or necks are going to be snapped. Ricky Simms - Pay attention to the match, Doc. Jack reaches under the ring and pulls out a table and starts to set it up at ringside. Frank uses the nearby guard railing to pull himself to his feet. He then starts trading punches with Jack Spade again, then lands a low blow on Jack, picks him up and gives him a power bomb through the table! Frank goes for the pin. 1...2... Jack rolls a shoulder out. Frank stands Jack up and rolls him into the ring before he lifts the apron and pulls out a two by four. Frank smiles as he carries it into the ring and then he stands over Jack Spade. Spade starts to get to his feet only to take a brutal shot across the back from the two by four which Frank then starts choking him with. Spade grabs the bottom rope and manages to pull himself out of the ring, flipping himself over as he does so to throw Frank off. Both men on the floor, Jack grabs the two by four and holds it with both hands as he gets to his hands and knees. Jack then spots Frank who is almost to his feet and drills him in the back of the legs three times with the two by four. Jack then tosses it aside as he gets to his feet and then starts putting the boots to Frank Merritt. Ricky Simms - Jack is bruised up already in this one and he's sending Frank to the same fate. It's still unknown why Myst sent Frank out last week to attack Jack, posing as his tag partner briefly. Henry Lesher - There is a simple reason. Frank is awesome. That is all you need to know. Vote Merritt. Jack stands Frank up and whips him shoulder first into the steel corner post. Jack then gives Frank a belly to bellt overhead suplex to the floor and then he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Frank. Jack then stands Frank up and rolls him into the ring before he looks under the ring and pulls out a steel chair. Jack then slides under the bottom rope into the ring and then rears back with the chair as we see Myst sliding into the ring behind him. She grabs the chair from Jack's grip and then hits him across the forehead with it before she slips back out of the ring. Ricky Simms - What the hell was that about? Henry Lesher - Myst is making sure this win goes to the right person. I applaud her courage. Frank slowly sits up and sees that Jack is out cold. Frank then picks up the chair Myst just used on Jack and slowly gets to his feet, standing over Jack. He then rears back with the chair to drill his opponent with the steel weapon, but Shannon rolls into the ring behind Merritt, pulls the chair from his grip and then lays him out. Shannon then pulls Jack onto the fallen Merritt and shouts at the referee to count the pin. 1...2...3! Jack Spade gets the win in a bizarre and twisted end to this match. Ricky Simms - The Shannon-Myst battle starts here! Jack Spade won, but both men paid the price in this one. Henry Lesher - Frank is going to pull Shannon's tongue out and strangle him with it.
Shannon leaves the ring and his eyes lock on Myst who is glaring
back at him. He shakes his head and starts to make his way up the
ramp towards the back, Myst watching him leave. Neriah Sweet - JC. can I have a moment of your time? JC Michaels - No. Neriah Sweet - Everyone is buzzing backstage about your mystery partner. Can we get a hint? JC Michaels - No. Neriah Sweet - Is there a BLPW faction forming around you or is this extending farther back than that, to Japhy Ryder's XWA? JC Michaels - Look, you're new. I will cut you some slack once and only once, so listen up princess. When I say I don't have time for this, that's exactly what I have. I am a busy man and I am not playing twenty questions with the new set of fake tits on the roster. He storms off while a pouting Neriah briefly looks down at her cleavage. Neriah Sweet - They're real, you know!
JC Michaels - *off camera* I don't care! "What I've Done" by Linkin Park plays as AJ Cameron makes his way onto the stage, the crowd giving him a warmer reaction than he normally receives. He stands on the stage for a few moments and takes a few deep breaths before he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He then pulls himself onto the apron before stepping through the ropes into the ring. We then hear "The Eleventh Hour" by August Burns Red and the crowd has a mixed reaction for the return of Pyro to a CWA pay per view. Ricky Simms - It's odd that Pyro returns a week before a pay per view which contains his name in its title. Henry Lesher - They should have changed the name then. Pyro makes his way down the ramp to the ring, slips under the bottom rope into the ring and then gets to his feet while referee Francis Clarke calls for the bell to get the action started. Pyro moves in and locks up with AJ Cameron. Pyro backs AJ into the ropes where the referee demands a clean break. Pyro takes a step back, then shoves AJ. AJ responds with a knee to the gut on Pyro and then throws him through the ropes and out to the floor. AJ then goes to the ropes and quickly climbs to the top. He leaps off and lands a flying cross body to the floor on Pyro. AJ then stands Pyro up and slams his head into the ring apron before rolling him back into the ring. He rolls himself in and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. AJ stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a dropkick to the mat. AJ then goes to the ropes and quickly makes his way to the top. He then leaps off and lands a flying dropkick to the chest on Pyro before he again goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Ricky Simms - AJ is in complete control, but Pyro won't stay down. Henry Lesher - Like a true diva champ, Pyro is fighting to stay alive here. AJ stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and Pyro ducks a clothesline and then gives AJ a vertical suplex to the mat. Pyro stands AJ up and gives him a second vertical suplex and then stands him up to go for a third, but AJ blocks it. Aj and Pyro then start trading punches and then Pyro eye gouges AJ, then gives him a gut wrench suplex which ends in a back breaker before Pyro goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by AJ Cameron. Pyro then stands AJ up, whips him into the corner buckle and then gives him a monkey flip back to the middle of the ring. Pyro then jumps to the second rope and levels AJ to the mat with a clothesline from there before he again tries for the pin. 1...2... kick out again by AJ. Pyro then stands AJ up and whips him off the ropes and then ducks his head for a backdrop to the mat, but AJ kicks Pyro in the face and then gives him a face buster to the mat. Ricky Simms - Good back and forth action really has the fans into this one. Henry Lesher - The fans are easily entertained then. AJ stands Pyro up only to take a jawbreaker to the mat from Pyro who then places AJ's neck over the middle rope and chokes him with it while the referee counts towards a possible disqualification. Pyro then releases the hold and then he whips AJ off the ropes and then misses with a dropkick when AJ grabs the ropes. AJ then lands a knee drop to the chest on the fallen Pyro, then stands him up and whips him into the corner buckle. AJ goes for a shoulder block there, but Pyro side steps it, whips AJ shoulder first into the corner buckle and then rolls him into a small package, holding the ropes with one hand for added leverage out of sight of the referee. 1...2...3! Pyro wins his first single's match back in the CWA! Ricky Simms - Pyro used the ropes to get the pin! Henry Lesher - Pyro starts building back to his former diva glory. Ricky Simms - You just cannot admit he looked good in there, can you?
Pyro exits the ring and starts to make his
way up the ramp while AJ explains what happened to a referee who
refuses to reverse his decision. Julian - Where are you going? Ingee Shmelky - I have an interview with Frank Merritt. Ricky - You're going to get killed, Ingee. Julian - Merritt is out of control. The attack on him by Shannon snapped whatever little sanity the man had left. Ingee Shmelky - But it's my job. Julian - No, you need to forget this for tonight and hang with Olivia. We talked to your wife about a few things and you should talk to her. Ingee Shmelky - I was asked to do an interview and I will do it. I'm not scared of Frank. Frank comes out of nowhere and clotheslines both Julian and Ricky down before he drills Ingee in the face with a big boot. He looks down at the fallen Shmelky Brother and shakes his head. Frank Merritt - Are you scared now? We then see static on the screen. The static gets stronger and then we see a face inside the static. It's been darkened and distorted so we cannot make out who it might be through the static. We then hear a child's voice speak to us. Voice - Do you believe in ghosts?
The static then grows stronger for a few
moments before it cuts back to ringside. "Where Eagles Dare" by The Misfits plays as Moose comes out to the loudest ovation of the night. He stands on stage for a few moments while fireworks explode throughout the arena. Moose then makes his way down the ramp and high fives a few fans at ringside before he pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. We then hear "Indestructible" by Disturbed and Kannon steps out onto the stage and the crowd boos him as well as Garth Rivers, who is clad in a suit and walking closely behind Kannon towards the ring. Kannon reaches ringside and has a few words for Moose from there as does Rivers. Moose points to Rivers and then to Kannon and clearly is not intimidated here. Ricky Simms - This should be a bruising match. Moose has to avoid being caught in between Kannon and Rivers here. Henry Lesher - They have a lot of confidence right now, too, after defeating the greatest tag team in the history of wrestling, Tommy Purr and the next president of the United States, Frank Merritt. Kannon steps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring which allows referee Steve Blake to call for the bell. Kannon moves in for a test of strength with Moose. Moose smirks before locking hands with Kannon and Moose immediately appears to be winning the test as he quickly bends Kannon's hands backward while Rivers is seen screaming at ringside. Rivers jumps onto the apron and Moose turns his head to say something to Rivers, which allows Kannon to kick Moose in the chest and then break the lock up before placing Moose in a headlock. Ricky Simms - Moose allowed himself to be distracted and it cost him there. Henry Lesher - I thought he was smarter than that. Moose backs Kannon into the ropes, then whips him off the ropes and gives him a shoulder block, but that doesn't bring Moose down. Instead, Moose gives Kannon a head butt and then gives him a series of knife edge chops that back him into the ropes. Moose whips Kannon off the ropes and gives him a knee to the ribs before giving him a swinging neck breaker to the mat where he goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Kannon. Moose then stands Kannon up, whips him into the corner buckle and charges in for a shoulder, but instead he takes a clothesline to the mat from Kannon who then lands a knee drop to the chest on Moose before going for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Moose. Kannon then stands Moose up and whips him through the ropes and out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Close calls for both men and now Moose is in enemy territory. Henry Lesher - Oh, he needs to get into the ring fast or he's going to get destroyed. Moose gets to his feet on the floor and is face to face with Garth Rivers. The referee shouts a warning at Rivers and Rivers grins and backs away from Moose. Moose then turns his attention back to the ring and pulls himself onto the apron only to take a clothesline off of it and back to the floor from Kannon. The referee has words with Kannon about that and Rivers uses the distraction to put the boots to Moose. He then stands Moose up and whips him shoulder first into the ring steps and then rolls him back into the ring. Kannon pulls Moose to his feet, the damage done while the referee's back was turns. Kannon whips Moose off the ropes and gives him a shoulder block down to the mat. Kannon then goes to the corner and makes his way to the second rope. He goes for a splash from there and lands on raised knees from Moose. Ricky Simms - Great defense shown here by Moose. Henry Lesher - At least he's more of a man than most of the roster around here. Moose uses the ropes to get to his feet and then gives Kannon a series of punches to the head before he can get up. Moose then manages a scoop slam to the mat on Kannon and then kicks him in the gut repeatedly. Kannon rolls onto his stomach and starts to pull himself up, but Moose is on him and locks in the Moosemission which brings the crowd to their feet. Moose holds his grip on Kannon as the big man struggles to reach for the ropes and Garth Rivers jumps onto the apron again. The referee and Moose both ignore Rivers as Kannon is forced to tap out and the referee calls for the bell, the crowd cheering wildly. Ricky Simms - Big win for Moose as he continues to add to his legacy. Henry Lesher - I'll admit he's good, but he's not presidential material. Vote Merritt!
Ricky Simms - Give it a rest, Doc. Neriah Sweet - Jack, we want your reaction to what happened earlier tonight. Jack Spade - Myst wants to play games with me? She has no clue what she's doing. I am not done with Frank Merritt and I am not impressed with appearing weak and needing help from the owner. I am a former CWA champ who has yet to call for a rematch. I am team player and this is what I get for that? Neriah Sweet - All eyes are on you and Frank now for Shannon's match with Myst later tonight. Jack Spade - That toxic couple can kill each other. The crazy train is off the rails for the rest of the night. I am out. Neriah Sweet - Will you watch the match? Jack Spade - Shannon and Myst both have it in for me. Why would I care who wins? I am going to focus on making sure this doesn't happen again.
Jack storms off and we head back to the ring. "Switch 625" by Def Leppard plays as Hoshi Yakamoto makes her way onto the stage. The crowd gives her a warm reception as she makes her way down the ramp towards the ring. Half way to the ring, she is attacked from behind by Daniel McCoy who gives Hoshi a chop block that brings her down and then he picks her up and slams her on the ramp. McCoy then stands on her chest for a few moments while referee Mark Davis rushes out and threatens to disqualify McCoy before the match has even started. McCoy steps off of Hoshi, stands her up and whips her into the ring apron before giving her a German suplex to the floor. McCoy then stands over Hoshi with a twisted smile on his face while the crowd boos and starts a chant for Hoshi. Ricky Simms - The champ is in trouble before the match has even started. Henry Lesher - I like McCoy. I have always liked McCoy. McCoy stands Hoshi up, rolls her into the ring and then rolls himself into the ring where the referee then calls for the bell. McCoy picks Hoshi up and gives her a spinning power slam to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Hoshi Yakamoto. McCoy stands Hoshi up, whips her off the ropes and gives her a spinning heel kick to the mat. McCoy then goes to the ropes and makes his way to the top. He leaps off and misses with a flying elbow smash when Hoshi rolls out of the way before she then kips up to her feet. Hoshi then gives McCoy a knee to the head and then she stands him up, whips him into the corner and then does a hand spring into a head scissors that brings McCoy down to the mat where she quickly applies a sleeper hold. Ricky Simms - Hoshi is showing a lot of spirit in this title defense. Henry Lesher - Hoshi is further proof that the CWA is circling the drain. Daniel McCoy refuses to submit in the sleeper. He reaches for the ropes and fails the first time, but still refuses to submit. McCoy lunges a second time for the ropes and manages to grab the bottom rope which forces the break. Hoshi lets McCoy go and he rolls himself out to the floor for a breather. McCoy gets to his feet on the floor and signals for a timeout. The referee refuses and McCoy shakes his head and paces on the floor. McCoy then pulls himself onto the apron where he then takes a kick to the gut from Hoshi who then gives McCoy a vertical suplex back into the ring. Hoshi then stands over McCoy while the crowd cheers. Ricky Simms - Hoshi is showing a lot of intestinal fortitude tonight. Henry Lesher - I don't want to see any of Hoshi. Hoshi stands McCoy up, whips her into the corner buckle and then goes for a bulldog to the mat on McCoy, but he instead tosses Hoshi across the ring to the mat. McCoy then charges at Hoshi and kicks her in the back of the head and then gives her an inverted DDT to the mat. McCoy then stands Hoshi up, knees her in the chest and then gives her the Southern Comfort to the mat and rolls her over for the pin. 1...2...3! Daniel McCoy is the new Aerial champ of the CWA! Ricky Simms - In what has to be seen as an upset, McCoy gets the win here and becomes the new champ! Henry Lesher - I love this man. He took the belt from Hoshi. McCoy is a real man. McCoy rolls himself out to the floor and picks up the title belt and places it over his shoulder, then starts making his way to the ramp. He takes a vicious chair shot to the head from 6Pac Dudley. Dudley stands over McCoy, then shows the camera that he is wearing a Total Darkness shirt. He smiles as security rushes in to get him away from the fallen new champion. 6Pac tells McCoy that he'll see him soon. Ricky Simms - 6Pac makes a rather rude entrance here and apparently he has turned back to Total Darkness.
Henry Lesher - Hey, he's not Hoshi. Let's
focus on Hoshi losing her title. It is all about the positives. Ingee Shmelky - You know, guys, we can let Frank be tonight. Ricky - Ingee, this is why you're a jobber. You can't let that ape get one over on you like that. Julian - Guys like Merritt can't run around unchecked or there's anarchy. Ingee Shmelky - That's happened before. Olivia Shmelky - My sweet, you cannot allow Frank to do this and get away with it. I will defend you. Ricky - Olivia, just let us handle it. Julian stands on one side of Merritt's locker room door while Ricky stands on the other. Julian then throws it open and we find that Frank isn't there. Instead, we see Sal Clemenzo who raises his eyebrows at what he sees. Sal Clemenzo - May I help you? Julian - Where's Frank? Sal Clemenzo - I was ready to start asking the same question. We're old friends, Frank and I. Ricky - He jumped us earlier and we need to find him. Sal Clemenzo - I am surprised he bothered.
Sal leaves the locker room, shaking his
head while the Puck Slappers and their crew all look confused, so we
head back to the ring. "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" by Type O Negative plays as Scavenger, Malk and Dragon make their way onto the stage. The crowd cheers as they take a moment, discussing strategy and who will start the match before they make their way down the ramp towards the ring. They then all pull themselves onto the apron and step through the ropes into the ring and then talk to referee Steve Blake about how this is supposed to go while their music fades. We then hear "Hollow Man" by The Hollow Men and Gary Barber and JC Michaels make their way onto the stage where the crowd gives them the loudest boos of the night. They then march down to the ring and Dragon is seen stepping out onto the apron while Malk does the same, leaving Scavenger inside the ring. He backs up to his corner where Dragon and Malk both slap him on the back. Ricky Simms - They look like a team. It will be interesting to see if the third member for JC and Gary is on the same page as they are. Henry Lesher - JC and Barber are no fools, Rick. Their partner will be more than enough for that collection of losers. Both JC
and Gary are standing in the ring when JC asks for the ring
microphone. The fans are booing as JC grabs the mic and looks out at
the crowd. Ray Dees - Well, I guess congratulations are in order. Daniel McCoy - They were in order. I won this title and it should be the greatest moment in my career and, instead, 6Pac Dudley emerges out of nowhere and clocks me?! Ray Dees - It would appear he's returned to the Total Darkness stable. Daniel McCoy - Well, he is messing with Business Inc. and he'll wish he hadn't. I am sending a warning to 6Pac to stay out of my business. He has already proven he isn't man enough to hold this title. Ray Dees - Strong words.
Daniel McCoy - I'm the champ now, Ray. The
rest of the CWA has to deal with that. "Sic Transit Gloria" by Brand New plays as Shannon Skanes makes his way onto the stage. He takes a few deep breaths before he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. He then rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring and then paces as his music fades and then we hear "A Place For My Head" by Linkin Park and Myst comes out to a mixed reaction from the crowd. She looks down into the ring at Shannon as she marches down the ramp towards her biggest match in her career. Ricky Simms - I never thought I would see the day that these two fought. Henry Lesher - I am glad we finally get to see that Shannon really is the woman in this relationship. Myst makes her way up the ring steps onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Referee Francis Clarke calls for the bell to officially start the match. Shannon and Myst circle one another. He offers to shake her hand and she slaps it away. She moves in to lock up with Shannon. She backs him into the ropes where the referee asks for a clean break. She backs off a step and then drills him with a knife edge chop and then another. He looks ready to punch her, but he hesitates and then drops and rolls himself out to the floor instead. Ricky Simms - He just can't hit her. Henry Lesher - A real man is willing to hit a woman. Look at the next US president, Frank Merritt. He hits everyone. Shannon paces on the floor while Myst yells at him from the ring. Shannon then pulls himself onto the apron and then steps back into the ring. He circles his wife and she moves in at him. He ducks a right hook and she catches him in the chest with a knee and then turns him around and scratches her nails down his back before ramming his head into the corner buckle. She then rolls him into a school boy and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Shannon Skanes who then rolls himself out to the floor again. Ricky Simms - Myst forced this match. Shannon didn't want it and has not encouraged Bombshell at all. Henry Lesher - Stop trying to blame her for his being a bad husband. Shannon paces around the ring, but Myst then rolls herself out to the floor with him. She pursues him and, when he sees her coming, he rolls himself back into the ring. She rolls in after him, gets to her feet and finds Shannon with his fist cocked. He cannot bring himself to strike her, so she smiles and slaps him across the face, then slaps him again. She then tosses referee Francis Clarke out of the ring to the floor and then knees Shannon below the belt. She gives him a clothesline to the mat and then we see Frank Merritt slipping into the ring. He has Myst stand him up and then gives him a heart punch that sends him to the mat in a heap. Myst goes for the pin as Tony Parizi slips into the ring wearing a referee's shirt. 1...2...3! Myst gets the win and Frank and Tony raise her arms in victory while the crowd boos loudly. Ricky Simms - Myst won and the crowd hates it. Henry Lesher - A heart punch from Frank sent the owner to the unemployment line. I love Frank. Vote Merritt! Myst exits the ring with Parizi and Merritt close behind her as she is announced as both the winner and the new owner of the CWA. At the top of the stage stand both Wyatt and Jordan Gibson applauding her victory. Ricky Simms - I see the slimy GMs are choosing to support the winner. That's typical.
Henry Lesher - They like job security.
You're clueless. Olivia Shmelky - Ladies. Lauren Strong - Did you see what that bastard Dragon pulled on my husband? Olivia Shmelky - We were kind of busy, but we heard through the grapevine. Lauren Strong - I tried to tell him to be more careful and this still happened. Jen Hawkins - Steve thought it was funny. Lauren Strong - Not funny, Jen. Jen Hawkins - I said Steve found it funny. He said he has had Eternity's number before, so he's not worried. Ingee Shmelky - Where's Frank Merritt? Lauren Strong - Just saw him leaving the ring entrance area with Myst, actually. You should be safe. Ingee Shmelky - I am starting to realize I am never safe. Maybe it's time I leave wrestling. Jen Hawkins - You wrestle?
Ingee shakes his head and we return to the
ring. "Gold Dust Woman" by Hole plays as Kathy Smith makes her way onto the stage. She then starts down the ramp towards the ring shaking her head, no doubt upset by what she just saw inside the ring. She then makes her way into the ring and takes the microphone from Kosmic Kitty. Kathy Smith - Myst, I am ashamed of what you just did to your husband. He may not be perfect, but he deserves better than that and he deserves better than you. Oh and before my opponent gets her ego inflated over this, he deserves better than Yvonne, too. Kathy hands the microphone back to Kosmic Kitty as "Piece Of Me" by Britney Spears plays and Bombshell runs down the ramp and slides into the ring where she starts brawling with Kathy. They trade rights and lefts while the crowd cheers. We then see Kira Yakamoto running down the ramp to the ring, not waiting for her music to play as she hopes to catch both opponents by surprise while Kosmic Kitty bails out of the ring. Kira slides under the bottom rope into the ring and sweeps the feet out from under both Kathy and Bombshell. She then knees Kathy in the forehead and goes for a quick pin. 1...2... kick out by Kathy Smith while Bombshell kips up to her feet and referee Casey Braun calls for the bell to get the match officially started. Ricky Simms - This should be a brawl. Henry Lesher - It's crap. Admit it. It's a crap match. Bombshell grabs Kira by the hair and whips her around, through the ropes and out to the floor. Bombshell then drops and rolls herself out after Kira. She slams Kira's face into the guard railing and then whips her shoulder first into the ring steps. Bombshell then picks Kira up and slams her to the floor while we see Kathy climbing the ropes behind her. Bombshell turns and takes a flying dropkick to the chest from Kathy Smith that brings her down to the floor. Kathy then stands Bombshell up and whips her shoulder first into the ring steps and then she grabs Kira and rolls her into the ring before doing the same herself. Kathy stands Kira up, whips her off the ropes and dropkicks her down to the mat while Bombshell rolls herself into the ring. Kathy climbs the top-rope, but Kira crotches her on the turnbuckle. Bombshell rushes up and hit’s the Head Over Heels modified Stratusphere on the legendary Diva. Kathy separates Bombshell’s legs and lifts her up, so Bombshell is now straddling Kathy. The two trade rights and lefts as Kira runs up and shoves them, knocking them from the turnbuckle. Each Diva grabs for a rope as they tumble onto the apron and down to the arena floor. Kathy is the first to get up, but Kira reaches through the ropes and grabs her by the hair, pulling her up onto the ring apron. Bombshell climbs up onto the ring apron as Kathy hit’s a Shoulder Block to Kira’s mid-section through the ropes. As Kira releases her hold, she gets hit in the face with a Bitch Kick from Bombshell who is on the apron! Kira is laid out in the ring as Kathy looks up, only for Bombshell to snatch her head and hit the modified RKO, The Taming of the Shrew, on Kathy from the apron and down onto the arena floor! Ricky Simms - Amazing action between these divas tonight. Henry Lesher - No it isn't. It's filler until the real champ, Tommy, comes out here. Bombshell stands Kathy up and rolls her into the ring before rolling herself into the ring. Kira slowly gets to her feet and rolls herself into the ring as well. Bombshell gives Kathy a body slam to the mat and then she stands Kira up. Bombshell whips Kira to the corner, but Kira counters it and whips Bombshell into the corner. Bombshell jumps up onto the turnbuckle and hits a reverse head scissors from the corner on Kira. Kira yanks Bombshell’s legs, and Bombshell saves herself, avoiding hitting the canvas face-first by tucking into a Victory Roll and tumbling between Kira’s legs. Bombshell then lifts her legs while on her back and hits Kira in the back end, shoving her face-first into the turnbuckle! Kira cradles her head and stumbles around, and Bombshell stands up and drops Kira to the mat, locking her the modified Crippler Cross face renamed The Iron Maiden! A rested Kathy grabs Bombshell by the hair and pulls her off of Kira before she has a chance to submit. Ricky Simms - This match has the potential to be match of the night. Henry Lesher - No, it doesn't. Tommy Purr isn't in it and neither is our next president. Kathy whips Bombshell off the ropes and gives her a dropkick that sends her down to the mat. Kathy then stands Bombshell up only to take a thumb to the eye from Bombshell. Kira slowly gets to her feet with the aid of the ropes and then lands a kick to the ribs on Bombshell before slamming her head into Kathy's. Bombshell then gives Kira a vicious knife edge chop to the chest. Bombshell hits a Northern Light Suplex on Kira as Kathy climbs the turnbuckle closest to the downed Divas. Bombshell scurries to her feet and gets in between Kathy and the turnbuckle. The crowd cheers as Bombshell pulls Kathy off in the Powerbomb position and executes her lethal maneuver Droppin’ Da’ Bombs, but instead of hitting the mat on impact, Kathy hits Kira’s prone body, effectively squashing the smaller Diva! Bombshell then rolls Kathy off Kira and over for the pin. 1...2...3! Bombshell wins and retains her title belt. Ricky Simms - Bombshell is still the champ. Henry Lesher - I don't care. I haven't cared during this entire match.
Bombshell exits the ring and starts up the
ramp towards the stage. Noah Skanes - Was it worth it, Mom? Myst - You're taking your father's side? Noah Skanes - Of course not. I am on this family's side. I agree that Dad was taking you for granted, but it didn't have to go this far. I was willing to work with you and Dad on this, work things out. Myst - It's not that simple. Noah Skanes - Not anymore, no. Congratulations on winning the company. From here on, Mom, I just can't be there for you. You went over that fine line and I don't know if there's any coming back.
He exits the office, shaking his head while
Myst is at a loss for words. "Psychosocial" by Slipknot plays as we see NC-17 stepping out onto the stage. He receives loud boos from the crowd while a confused Kosmic Kitty announces Eli Ryder as the competitor getting the title shot. NC-17 makes his way down the ramp and looks at the ladder surrounding the ring and nods his head before he pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Ricky Simms - Where we expect Eli, we get his alter ego instead. Henry Lesher - NC-17 is far more interesting than Eli. This should be a tremendous match up. As NC-17 paces inside the ring, we look to the stage while "Crazy Bitch" from Buckcherry now plays and defending champ, Tommy Purr, makes his way onto the stage where the crowd gives him a loud ovation, Mrs. Robinson following close behind with a smile on her face. Tommy stands on the stage for a few moments, looking down at NC-17 and shaking his head before he makes his way down the ramp towards the ring. Tommy hands off his belt to the timekeeper and then rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring which allows referee Steve Blake to call for the bell and get things started while Mrs. Robinson picks her spot at ringside. Tommy gets to his feet and locks up with NC-17. NC-17 backs Tommy into the ropes where the referee asks for a clean break. Instead, NC-17 knees Tommy in the gut and then gives him an eye gouge before whipping him off the ropes and then he gives Tommy a backdrop right over the top rope and out to the floor. Ricky Simms - Nc-17 showing his vicious nature right off the bat here. Henry Lesher - It's not a dance competition, Rick. This is wrestling. NC-17 climbs the ropes in the corner and waits for Tommy to stand before he launches himself at the champ. Tommy ducks out of the way and watches as NC-17 crashes to the ground. Tommy then stands NC-17 up and rolls him into the ring. Tommy enters the ring, stands NC-17 up and whips him off the ropes before ducking his head for another backdrop, this time sending Tommy to the mat. NC-17 locks Tommy in a Body Scissors and Sleeper Hold. Tommy struggles to break free, but NC-17 refuses to break the hold. At ringside Mrs. Robinson brings the crowd to live in an attempt to recharge Tommy. The crowd starts clapping in unison as Tommy grits his teeth and strains to get back onto his feet. Suddenly, it begins small, but continues to grow as the crowd chants, “ELI’S PSYCHO!” followed by two claps. NC-17 looks frustrated as he yells at the crowd, allowing Tommy to hook NC-17’s legs that are wrapped around his waist. Tommy climbs to his feet and then thrusts backwards, squashing NC-17 against the canvas and breaking the hold. As NC-17 lies prone, Tommy hurriedly gets to his feet and runs the ropes, hitting the middle-rope for an Asai Moonsault. NC-17 moves out of the way and Tommy lands on his feet. Tommy goes for a Bitch Kick, but NC-17 catches him and tosses Tommy’s foot up in the air. Tommy again lands on his feet in a back flip and NC-17 goes for a Clothesline. Tommy hits his Tommy Tuck backbend evasion. NC-17 turns around and is met with Tommy following the backbend through with a handstand Whirlie Birdie. Tommy spins and brings NC-17 down to the canvas with the move he calls Yellow Feva’. NC-17 rolls out of the ring to collect himself and yells at the crowd as they cheer on Tommy and continue chanting “ELI’S PSYCHO!!” Ricky Simms - Eli... NC-17 needs to keep his mind on the match and not let chants get to him. Henry Lesher - Tough to do, especially when the fans are so loud and stupid. That's why I am voting for Merritt in 2008. He will outlaw stupidity like this. NC-17 pulls himself onto the apron and then steps through the ropes into the ring. Tommy steps over to him and takes a thumb to the eye from the challenger. MC-17 then gives Tommy a series of forearm smashes to the chest and then gives him an upper cut to the jaw and then follows up with an inverted atomic drop before pulling the feet out from under Tommy. NC-17 then places Tommy in a Boston Crab which causes the fans to start chanting Tommy's name. NC-17 tries to hold Tommy in the middle of the ring while Tommy reaches for the ropes. Tommy drags himself towards the ropes and then reaches out again, this time able to snag the bottom rope to force the break. NC-17 then stands Tommy up and takes an eye gouge from Tommy. Tommy whips NC-17 into the corner and hits a Handspring Back Elbow. As NC-17 stumbles forward, Tommy cradles his rival's head and tries to run the ropes. NC-17 stops him and flips him backward over his shoulder. Tommy lands on the mat on his feet and then snatches NC-17’s head once again, hitting the ropes for the Springboard Bulldog, The Tomcat! Tommy then rolls himself out to the floor and grabs one of the ladders and slides it under the bottom rope into the ring. Ricky Simms - The match will be won or lost at the top of a ladder. Henry Lesher - About time one of them got a ladder into the ring. Now this is going to get even better. Tommy slides himself into the ring and starts to set the ladder up under the belt. NC-17 uses the ropes to get to his feet and charges at Tommy, giving him a spear to the mat. NC-17 then crouches and charges Tommy, but Tommy pulls down the ropes and causes NC-17 to crash to the outside of the ring with nothing to break his fall. Tommy steps out onto the apron and waits. NC-17 gets up and turns to face Tommy, he launches off of the apron with a Purricanranna that brings NC-17 down to the arena floor and sends him crashing into the ring barricade! Tommy then rolls himself into the ring and heads for the ladder. Tommy starts to make his way up the ladder while NC-17 dives into the ring. Tommy reaches for the belt, but NC-17 grabs the bottom of the ladder and causes it to topple, sending Tommy right over the top rope and down to the floor. Ricky Simms - Tommy took a bad fall there. Henry Lesher - Maybe I should go and check on him. Ricky Simms - Just stay out of it, Doc. NC-17 sets the ladder up under the title belt and slowly gets to his feet before he starts crawling his way up the ladder. Tommy is on his feet on the floor and slips under the bottom rope into the ring. He starts up the other side of the ladder, even while NC-17 is reaching towards the title belt. Tommy reaches the top and then gives NC-17 a head butt. NC-17 then starts trading punches with Tommy as the ladder becomes unstable from the motion. The ladder falls sideways and Tommy and NC-17 both land on the top rope and then become tangled in the top and middle rope, each with a foot caught between them. The referee struggles to free them while the crowd starts another chant for Tommy Purr and Mrs. Robinson encourages the chant from ringside. Ricky Simms - Very good match between these two, exactly as we expected. Henry Lesher - Did we expect Eli to be insane tonight? Ricky Simms - With Eli, there's no telling what you will get from night to night, even minute to minute. Both NC-17 and Tommy are freed and manage to land on the apron and then crawl back into the ring. Tommy folds the ladder they had been on and then clubs NC-17 over the head with it. Tommy then drops the ladder and whips NC-17 off the ropes and goes for a backdrop, but NC-17 kicks Tommy in the face and then gives him a Rock Bottom onto the fallen ladder. NC-17 then rolls himself out to the floor and picks up a second ladder and slips it into the ring. NC-17 slides into the ring and then slams the other ladder on Tommy, sandwiching him between steel ladders. NC-17 then starts to climb the ropes. He reaches the top and then poses before he cannonballs off and lands a 450 splash onto the ladder which impacts Tommy on both sides, between the ladder beneath and on top of him. NC-17 is also rolling around on the apron, the top ladder having impacted against his ribs. Ricky Simms - That's as suicidal as I have seen inside a CWA ring. Henry Lesher - Anytime anyone faces Frank Merritt, they're on death watch. That's why I am voting Merritt in 2008. Ricky Simms - The broken record continues. NC-17 gets to his feet, still clutching at his ribs. He then pulls the top ladder off of Tommy Purr and sets it up underneath the belt. NC-17 starts up the ladder, one hand on the ladder while the other clutches his ribs. Tommy slowly gets to his feet and he heads for the ladder. He starts up after NC-17 and manages to snag his foot and starts to pull the challenger back down. NC-17 turns himself around and then jumps down, clearing over Tommy and giving him a vicious looking clothesline to the mat off the ladder. NC-17 then gets to his feet, picks up the other ladder and then waits for Tommy to stand before hitting him in the head with it. Tommy falls out through the ropes to the floor and then NC-17 reaches the ladder over the top rope and throws it down onto Tommy Purr. NC-17 then turns his attention back to the ladder inside the ring and starts to make his way towards the top. Despite boos from the crowd and Mrs. Robinson helping Tommy to his feet, NC-17 reaches the top of the ladder, grabs the belt and then jumps off the ladder to the mat as the referee calls for the bell. Ricky Simms - Oh my God, Eli NC-17 Ryder is the new world champ! Henry Lesher - If anyone not named Merritt was going to win the title, I'm glad it was NC-17 and not that simpleton Eli Ryder. Ricky Simms - But Doc, he is... never mind. It doesn't matter. NC-17 exits the ring and starts up the apron while Tommy collapses at ringside and the referee signals that they need medical attention for Tommy Purr. The crowd boos as the new champ holds his belt high and we wonder what it will take to take the belt from the off-kilter version of Eli Ryder. Ricky Simms - Fans, tune in next week for Overdrive and see just what the CWA has in store for it now that Eternity is here and Eli has become the champ! We fade out on a shot of NC-17 exiting the stage area, title belt over his shoulder. |
