Portland, OR
It's a near capacity crowd tonight in Portland, many of which are wearing CWA T-shirts. Backstage we see Vesuvius entering the office of Hector Braun.
Hector Braun - Wow, the show hasn't started yet and you're already prepared to cause problems.
Vesuvius - I don't want Moose at Security Breach, Hector. I want Scavenger. I want to end his career. He's been running from me long enough.
Hector Braun - I wasn't aware he was the one running.
Vesuvius - Keep being a smart ass, Hec. Look, give me Scavenger next week.
Hector Braun - You got it, V-Man. Scavenger against Vesuvius for next week's pay per view.
We then head to our opening credits where we see images of Slim Pickens, The Parish, Leech, Moose, The Authority and Smooth Kriminals as "Breaking the Habit" by Linkin Park plays before we head to ringside where Ricky Simms and Henry Lesher are once again all set to call the action tonight.
Mordecai Darius vs T-Rex
"American Jesus" by Bad Religion plays as Mordecai Darius comes out to a chorus of boos from the crowd. He curses a few fans in the front row as he makes his way to the ring. He then steps into the ring and has a few words with the ref about how this match is supposed to go. As he does, we hear "Can't Get the Best of Me" by Cypress Hill and T-Rex is walked to the ring by Mercedes and Lexus which brings the fans to their feet. He says something to the camera about the money he has made and the money he will make. He has a few words for Darius inside the ring. As he steps through the ropes, Darius attacks him and the bell sounds to get the match underway.
Henry Lesher - Well, Darius is anxious to get things going and who could blame him?
Ricky Simms - Darius hasn't been the same since the casket landed on him.
T-Rex is whipped off the ropes by Darius and then T-Rex ducks a clothesline and gives Darius a reverse neck breaker to the mat. T-Rex goes for the quick pin as the girls at ringside applaud. 1...2... kick out by Darius. T-Rex then quickly stands Darius up, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. T-Rex smiles and looks to the ropes. He makes his way to the second rope and lands a double axe handle smash to the back of Darius, knocking him face down to the mat. T-Rex then stands Darius up, whips him off the ropes and then uses that momentum to toss him through the ropes to the floor. T-Rex steps out onto the apron and then delivers a double axe handle smash to the back of Darius before letting out a scream to the rafters.
Ricky Simms - T-Rex is pumped for this match.
Henry Lesher - I was backstage last week and met this guy. He had that funny Flockish smell to him.
Ricky Simms - I'm not surprised.
T-Rex stands Darius up, whips him into the guard railing and then puts the boots to him there as if curbing him against the railing. He knee drops the side of Darius' head and then stands him up and rolls him into the ring, rolling himself in just before the ref reached the ten count here.
Ricky Simms - T-Rex toying with a count out in the match.
Henry Lesher - Looks like he is sending a message that he's going places and the Parish is a good place to make your case.
T-Rex boot chokes Darius in the ropes as Mercedes and Lexus voice their approval from ringside. T-Rex releases the choke, stands Darius up and whips him into the corner buckle. Darius then comes out and clotheslines T-Rex to the mat and boot chokes him in the ropes. Darius releases the choke and stands T-Rex up, whips him into the corner and gives him a snap suplex from there to the middle of the ring. Darius then lands a leg drop across the throat of Rex and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Darius. Rex stands Darius up, whips him off the ropes and Darius ducks a clothesline, then the two start trading rights and lefts in the center of the ring. T-Rex thumbs Darius in the eye, then gives him a knee in the gut. T-Rex then places Darius into an abdominal stretch and the ref starts asking Mordecai about a submission here. Darius refuses to submit and reaches for the ropes with his free hand.
Ricky Simms - T-Rex showing some good skill here.
Henry Lesher - I don't believe it will last, though.
Darius gives up on reaching the ropes and instead starts working on battling out of the hold. T-Rex's hold weakens as Darius fights and winds up hip tossing T-Rex to the mat. Darius then places Rex into an arm bar. He twists Rex's arm as the ref starts asking Rex about a submission. Rex responds by standing up and landing a series of knife edge chops with his free arm on Darius to break the hold. He then head butts Rex into the corner and then sets and lands the Rex-Plex on Darius and then goes for the pin. 1...2...3! T-Rex scores himself an impressive win here to remain undefeated in the GWO.
Ricky Simms - I must say that was a good showing for Rex, a man who appears to be going places in the GWO.
Henry Lesher - Yes, hopefully he'll be leaving.
Backstage we see Slim Pickens entering the building. He is headed off by Shannon Skanes, already clad in a referee's shirt and black pants.
Shannon Skanes - All set, Slim?
Slim Pickens - I was the first ever Canadian champion here in the GWO. Of course I am ready for tonight.
Shannon Skanes - Leech is more than just another match. He's the nastiest wrestler I have seen in any ring.
Slim Pickens - He is about to become a statistic.
Slim then pushes past Shannon and heads to his locker room while Shannon shakes his head and goes the other way.
TJ Mercer/Pyro vs Halloween Jack/Devo
"The 20th Century Was Entirely Mine" by Fear Before The March Of Flames plays as Pyro leads TJ Mercer towards the ring, the crowd cheering for the most part. Pyro rolls himself under the bottom rope into the ring as TJ leaps onto the apron and looks around at the capacity crowd, soaking it all in. We then hear "Back In Black" by AC/DC and Halloween Jack leads the way to the ring with Suende and Devo close behind. Suende starts telling Jack how this match is going to go tonight and Jack takes issue with a few things she says. He and Devo then get into it and it appears they are ready to fight each other in the aisles. The crowd cheers as they anticipate a fight, but they are disappointed as the reluctant tag team resumes the walk to the ring. Devo enters the ring and Jack heads around the ring and then hops onto the apron in the corner and the bell sounds with Devo and Pyro locking up in the middle.
Ricky Simms - Odd tag match here.
Henry Lesher - Parish dragging Jack up from the gutter and J dragging Pyro down into it, from the looks of things here this week.
Pyro places Devo into an arm bar, breaking the lock up. Devo then head butts Pyro into the corner and gives him a fisherman's suplex out of it. Devo then stands Pyro up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a knee in the gut followed by a gut wrench suplex to the mat. Devo then tries for the early pin. 1...2... kick out by Pyro. Devo stands Pyro up, then tags in Halloween Jack. Jack enters the ring and gives Pyro a kick in the ribs as Devo holds him open for it. Jack then places Pyro into a full nelson in the middle of the ring and the ref starts asking Pyro if he submits here. Pyro refuses to submit as TJ cheers on his partner from the apron. Pyro starts to power out of the hold, so Jack releases it. Jack then tries for a bulldog on Pyro, but Pyro shoves Jack hard into the corner buckle. Pyro then lunges for and makes the tag to TJ Mercer. TJ enters the ring and backdrops Jack to the mat and then backdrops a charging Devo to the mat as well. Both Jack and Devo then opt to roll themselves out of the ring to regroup.
Ricky Simms - A bit of housecleaning there by TJ Mercer.
Henry Lesher - Fluke. He had offence and it confused Devo and Jack. It won't last.
Devo steps onto the apron with Jack next to him. Jack steps through the ropes. He and TJ circle each other as Devo makes his way back to his corner. Jack locks up with TJ. Jack breaks it, placing TJ into a headlock. TJ elbows Jack in the ribs, then hip tosses him to the mat. TJ follows that up with a leg drop across the throat of Jack before going for the pin. 1...2... Jack rolls a shoulder out in time. TJ stands Jack up, whips him off the ropes and then both men clothesline each other to the mat. The ref starts counting them both down as the fans seem split on who to cheer for here to get up first.
Henry Lesher - Maybe they'll both stay down and end this here. They bore me anyways.
Ricky Simms - Nothing meets with your approval unless it's Leech these days.
At the four count, TJ shows signs of life, grabbing the ropes and starting to get to his feet. Jack does the same at the six count. On the eight count, TJ stands free of the ropes and the count is stopped. TJ then takes a clothesline over the top rope from a charging Devo. Devo then lets himself out of the ring as Jack steps out through the ropes and then down to the floor where he puts the boots to TJ Mercer. Jack then stands TJ up and whips him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. Jack then rolls TJ into the ring before rolling himself inside the ring just in time to beat the count out. Jack then goes for the pin on TJ. 1...2...3! Devo and Jack win the tag match between the unlikely tag teams. Jack rolls himself out of the ring, then high fives fans on his way to the back. Devo and Suende are following close behind and appear to be satisfied with this week's victory as Devo continues his trek towards the world title match with Max Cameron next week. we see Pyro standing over TJ as he does we see coming down the ramp Gerard Angelo. As he slides into the ring TJ gets to his feet. As the three men stand there it is like an old fashioned stand of as the three look at each other confused.
Ricky Simms - What is this all about?
Henry Lesher - I don’t know but If I were TJ I would be very nervous right now.
TJ looks at the two men as they all circle the ring. After a few moments the lights go out.
Ricky Simms - Now what?
Henry Lesher - I have no idea but there go the dam lights again. Better see Q or Dante in the ring when they come back on or I'll be very disappointed.
After a few minutes we hear the sound of a bell. As this happens the spotlight comes on. Then another bell the crowd starts to cheer as they think they know whats coming. Then the guitar riff of "Hells Bells" kicks in as the spotlight shines at the entranceway. Out from behind the curtain we see Max coming down to the ring the crowd cheers but then it is short lived as they see he is still in a wheelchair. There curiosity is peaked though as they notice who is pushing the wheelchair.
Ricky Simms - Hey why is Maxine pushing Max’s wheelchair?
Henry Lesher - I don’t know. Do I look like a damn psychic? I'm still ticked it wasn't Dante or Q.
As she gently places Max at ringside she slides into the ring carrying a bag. She then places herself directly in the middle of the three men.
Ricky Simms - What is she doing? They're going to kill her!
She grabs a microphone as we see Max sitting at ringside looking out of it.
Maxine - First of all Hector your time of control over my husband is up. *loud cheering* Your month is over now he will get the proper treatment he needs.
The crowd again cheers as the three men in the ring look on.
Maxine - Now as for the three of you.
As she says that Pyro steps in front of her and grabs her hair. Gerard just looks at him and smiles as the crowd looks on stunned.
Ricky Simms - What is this all about there not going to hurt her.
Henry Lesher - Oh this is going to be good.
As Gerard steps forward he looks at Pyro and raised up his hand. Pyro high fives him.
Ricky Simms - What is that all about?
Henry Lesher - Looks like they have formed something.
Ricky Simms - So it was them who were behind all of this.
As TJ looks on stunned he goes in to stop them but then he stops. He then smiles and he high fives the both of them.
Ricky Simms - what the hell?
Henry Lesher - What is going on here?
As the three men taunt Maxine in the ring. Pyro looks over at Max and smiles.
Pyro - Max this one is for you.
As he goes to pick up Maxine the lights go out again.
Ricky Simms - Now what?
As the lights come back up we see Maxine is now standing there and the other three guys are just looking around confused. As they do the crowd erupts.
Henry Lesher - What are these morons cheering about?
Ricky Simms - Henry look Max’s wheelchair. Its empty.
As the crowd looks on TJ notices this and points to it. Pyro and Gerard look around the ring confused. The lights go out again. As the do there is another sound of a bell as the lights come back up we see Max standing in the ring and Maxine standing behind him. The crowd erupts as they see this. Max grabs a Mic and smiles at the three across from them.
Max Cameron - I’m back.
The crowd cheers him on as the three men stand there ready to fight. Max stands there seemingly unconcerned.
Max Cameron - So what were you guys going to do to my wife anyway?
As Max looks on TJ smiles and steps forward.
TJ Mercer - Max I am so sick of you. You always getting in the way. So I have reformed your most famous creation. Your looking at the new version of Youthful Aggression.
Max looks on and laughs as the crowd boos.
Max Cameron - You reformed what? So I suppose you were behind all of this lights going out stuff and taking out Bobby and Devin.
TJ looks on confused.
TJ Mercer - Well no but they were they told me they had it all under control. I trust these two they hate you as much as I do.
Max stands there smiling. As he does TJ is not amused. Max looks over at Pyro then at Gerard and nods as he does TJ looks at Max as Max smiles.
Max Cameron - Well TJ alls I can say is you better be careful who you trust.
As Max says that Pyro and Gerard blind side TJ. They start taking him apart to the shock of the crowd. As they beat him down the hold him up for Max as TJ looks beating and battered as Maxine look on.
Max Cameron - You did nothing you ignorant Fool. It was me the whole time. Remember the Vision I told you and the other regulators about. Well this is it. You didn’t reform Youthful Aggression I did.
As Max says that the crowd is in shock. Max then takes TJ and throws him out of the ring. He then looks out at the crowd as the remaining four members of now YA look on at the now booing crowd.
Max Cameron - You should have known never to trust me. I told you before I cant be trusted yet you did. Man you people are stupid. You see YA is back together this time stronger then ever. This time its not just about taking them on this time its about taking them out. That’s right this time we are here to take what Shannon so desperately wants and what Hector so desperately wants to hold on to. This time we are taking control and were taking out everyone including the Regulators to do it. So Devo come to the PPV bring everything you have. Because I am coming to the PPV not as the drooling idiot you thought but as the man who is your next World Champion.
As Max says that "Youth of the Nation" by POD starts to play over the PA system as Gerard and Pyro stand next to Max with their hands raised in victory as the crowd looks on stunned.
Ricky Simms - I cannot believe what we just witnessed here.
Henry Lesher - Neither can I. Max outsmarted someone? Last time that will happen.
We head to commercial.
We see Frank Merritt looking at shoes at Foot Locker. He looks at a pair of white Nike's and frowns. He then faces the camera. "Man, these shoes are screaming to get their asses kicked. I realized the need to decent shoes ages ago and now we have it." He tosses the Nike's aside and picks up black runners that bring a smile to his face. "Say hello to the Shit kickers 3000. These runners have steel toes, pepper spray built into the right toe with easy release mechanisms for those times when you want to blind people. With each purchase of Shit kickers, we will send five dollars to the fund to get Richard Simmons ass kicked just because he's a pussy. Frank Merritt ain't gonna make no pussy ass shoes. Buy them today or watch me kick your ass."
Zack McCracken vs Rod Gordon
"Diamonds and Guns" by The Transplants plays as Rod Gordon makes his way to the ring to a mixed reaction from the Portland crowd. He quickly slides into the ring and poses on the second rope in the corner, clearly anxious to get his first match started here. As he steps down, we hear "Beautiful Stranger" by Madonna and Zack McCracken is walked to the ring by Felicity. The crowd catcalls her and cheers the lovable loser Zack as he steps onto the apron and waves to his fans. His smile is taken away as Rod clotheslines him off the apron to the floor. Rod then leaves the ring and starts putting the boots to Zack on the floor before rolling him into the ring. Rod rolls himself back into the ring and the bell sounds to make this match official.
Ricky Simms - Rod not wasting any time here this week in his debut.
Henry Lesher - Hopefully this ends that idiot detective for good.
Rod stands Zack up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him to the mat. Rod then heads to the ropes, makes his way to the second rope and scissor kicks Zack across the back of the neck just as he was getting to his feet. Rod then rolls him over for the attempted pin. 1...2... kick out by Zack McCracken. Rod argues with the ref about whether or not that should have been a three count. Rod stands Zack up, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. Rod then goes for an elbow smash which misses when Zack rolls out of the way. Zack then rolls himself out of the ring. Rod follows Zack out. Zack turns, knees Rod in the gut and then whips him shoulder first into the steel corner post before rolling himself back into the ring. Zack then goes for the pin on Rod Gordon. 1...2... Rod kicks out and reverses the pin into a small package on Zack. 1...2... Zack grabs the bottom rope to stop the count. Rod and Zack then both get to their feet and start trading punches. Rod eye gouges Zack, then knees him in the chest, driving him back to the corner before monkey flipping him back to the center of the ring.
Ricky Simms - Zack showing some fight this week.
Henry Lesher - Yeah just to piss me off.
Rod places Zack into a camel clutch in the center of the ring. Zack manages to raise his back which weakens the hold as Felicity cheers him on from ringside. Rod releases the camel clutch, stands Zack up and whips him off the ropes. The two shoulder block each other, neither moving. Rod then head butts Zack backwards and then gives him a body slam to the mat. Rod then stands Zack up and then drops him with a lightning DDT and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Rod Gordon grabs himself the win here this week over Zack. Rod then stands over Zack with a sadistic smile on his face. He boot chokes Zack in the ropes as the crowd boos. Felicity rolls herself into the ring and pleads with Rod to let Zack go. Rod turns to her and smiles, grabbing her by the throat. He appears ready to choke slam her when we see Tony Parizi and daughter Cordelia charging into the ring. Tony clotheslines Rod down as Cordelia puts the boots to him as he rolls out of the ring.
Ricky Simms - Why would the Parizis come to the aid of Zack McCracken and Felicity?
Henry Lesher - Because they've gone soft. That's why.
Backstage we see Max Cameron with Ray Dees.
Ray Dees - Max, this week you shocked the world by reforming Youthful Aggression once you were freed from your wheelchair. Next week you face Devo. What plans have you got for that match?
Max Cameron - If it wasn't for Myst, I would have been champion already. If it wasn't for Hector Braun's manipulations after that, I would have been champion already. Next week I cash in. Next week, I will finally be champ.
As Max walks away from Ray, Devo charges in with a chair in hand and attacks Max. This quickly escalated as Pyro and Gerard Angelo enter the scene and Celia and Vesuvius do the same soon after that with security trying in vain to split this brawl up. Ray wisely steps away from all of this.
Jake Evans vs Scavenger
"Headsprung" by LL Cool J plays as Jake Evans makes his way to the ring to the cheers of the crowd and with Matt Classic taking his place at ringside. Jake stands on the second rope and poses for the crowd as he bangs his head to the music. As he steps down, we hear "My Girlfriend's Girlfriend" by Type O Negative and Scavenger makes his way to the ring with Fixxxer and Lauren Strong leading the way. He high fives fans and appears to be in good spirits as he enters the ring. The bell sounds and he and Jake shake hands to get the match underway. The two lock up. Jake pushes Scavenger back into the ropes. The ref asks for a break in the ropes. Jake backs off and we have a clean break. The two lock up again in the center of the ring. Scavenger breaks it and places Jake into a standing side headlock. Scavenger then bulldogs Jake to the mat and rolls him over for the pin. 1...2... Jake manages to kick out.
Ricky Simms - Always good to see Scavenger in the ring.
Henry Lesher - I guess that depends on your point of view on the subject.
Scavenger stands Jake up, whips him into the corner and then gives him a sidewalk slam. Scavenger then heads to the ropes and climbs to the top in an unusual move for him. He leaps with an attempted flying head butt that misses when Jake rolls out of the way. Matt Classic is seen nodding his head at ringside as Jake then gets to his feet and knee drops Scavenger in the forehead. Jake then stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and dropkicks him to the mat. Jake then stands and does a somersault onto the abdomen of the fallen Scavenger before trying for the pin himself. 1...2... Scavenger manages to kick out in time. Jake then stands Scavenger up, whips him off the ropes and tries a dropkicks, but only dropkicks air as Scavenger sidesteps the move from Jake. Scavenger then sets himself in the corner and looks ready to end things. Jake is slow to his feet as Matt Classic shouts from ringside. Jake turns and takes a spear from Scavenger who then goes for the pin. 1...2... Jake gets a shoulder up in time.
Ricky Simms - I thought that was it.
Henry Lesher - I had hoped that was it.
Scavenger then heads to the ropes and climbs to the top again. This time, he waits for Jake to stand and face him and then he launches himself into a spear from the top and Jake hits the mat with a huge impact as the crowd cheers. Scavenger again goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Scavenger with a win here over Jake Evans. At ringside Matt Classic is seen shaking his head. He enters the ring and checks on Jake as Scavenger leaves and high fives fans on his way to the back.
Ricky Simms - The top rope spear was just a bit too much for Jake Evans to handle this week.
Henry Lesher - He has everything you want in a wrestler except talent.
We then head to commercial.
We see Trevor Linden of the Vancouver Canucks skating around the ice. He then skates to the bench and smiles for the camera. "Right now, there's no hockey. We're all locked out. You see, the problem is the owners want us to take a pay cut. We only average 1.8 million dollars a piece and I don't have to tell you that's tough when raising a family. Just the other day Markus Naslund was telling me his measly four million per year wasn't enough for him to keep his house in the Cayman Islands. This is unacceptable and the owners expect us to accept a salary cap? You would never accept a pay cut from four million to three million and a half, so why should we? Think about it." He skates away and we see on our screen that this message was paid for by the NHL Players' Association.
Sephiroth vs Steve Stryker
"Destroy All" by Static X plays as Steve Stryker makes his way to the ring to the boos of the crowd. He steps onto the apron, spits on the floor and then steps through the ropes and tests them as we hear "Episode 29" by Mushroomhead and Sephiroth makes his way to the ring to a strong pop from the crowd. He races into the ring and the two start going toe to toe as the bell sounds. They start trading knife edge chops to the chest, then eye gouge each other at the same time, both retreating to the ropes. Stryker head butts Sephiroth and Seph answers by hip tossing Stryker over the top rope to the floor. Sephiroth then climbs to the ropes and lands a flying body press on Stryker at ringside. Sephiroth then stands Stryker up and rolls him back into the ring before pulling himself back into the ring as well.
Ricky Simms - These two had quite the exchange last week and it continues here this week.
Henry Lesher - I don't find myself caring much, though. I would like to. I just don't care.
Sephiroth goes for the pin on Stryker. 1...2... kick out by Steve Stryker. Sephiroth then stands Stryker up, whips him off the ropes and gives him a clothesline to the mat before landing a series of punches to the head of the fallen Stryker. Sephiroth stands Stryker up, whips him off the ropes and Steve ducks a clothesline from Seph and then gives him a kick in the gut followed by a gut wrench suplex to the mat. Steve then stands Sephiroth up and gives him a German suplex, keeps it locked on, stands Sephiroth up and gives him a second German suplex. Steve then holds Sephiroth's shoulders down for the pin 1...2... Sephiroth rolls out to avoid the pin here. Steve Stryker then stands Sephiroth up, whips him hard into the corner buckle and then gives him an atomic drop before clotheslining him from behind to the mat, face first. Stryker then stands Sephiroth up, looks to the crowd and lands the Stryker Spike on Sephiroth and then goes for the pin. 1...2....3! Steve Stryker pulls off the win here to remain unbeaten in his GWO career.
Ricky Simms - Stryker looking quite impressive here tonight.
Henry Lesher - I guess. Clearly Sephiroth was drunk.
Steve Stryker grabs the microphone from the ring announcer and looks unimpressed.
Steve Stryker - I want a challenge! I want a match with someone who has the nerve to try and stop me!
"Down With the Sickness" by Disturbed plays and out comes Garth Rivers to more of a positive reaction than he's used to. Garth steps onto the apron and then into the ring and grabs the microphone from Steve.
Garth Rivers - Challenge accepted.
The two then start brawling in the center of the ring and we see referees charging into the ring to try and break things up. We then head backstage where we see Dan Jalldoff with Hector Braun.
Hector Braun - You're on the verge of being fired.
Dan Jalldoff - Based on what?
Hector Braun - Your inability to do anything since I hired you.
Dan Jalldoff - It's fine. I hear what's going down soon and it should all work out for everyone.
Hector Braun - What are you talking about?
Dan Jalldoff - Your continuing insistence of pushing CWA stars out of the way.... you're making enemies, Hector.
Hector Braun - They can't do anything. Dizz owns the show.
Dan Jalldoff - Where is he this week?
Dan chuckles as Hector searches for the answer and finds nothing. He then heads to his office where he slams the door shut and we hear him lock it.
The Moose vs The Dawg
"If You Want Blood You Got It" by AC/DC plays as The Moose comes out to a very mixed reaction compared to what he normally gets when entering a GWO ring. He steps onto the apron and looks out at the crowd for a moment before stepping into the ring. He then stands in the corner and waits as "Who Let the Dawgs Out" by Baha Men plays and The Dawg makes his way to the ring with a smile on his face. He is talking the whole way to the ring about how he is ready to tear The Moose apart here and make a name for himself. Dawg steps onto the apron and is greeted with a knee in the back from Moose who then pulls him into the ring and lands a series of forearm smashes across the back as the bell sounds to get this match started.
Ricky Simms - Moose wasting little time in attacking The Dawg here.
Henry Lesher - Dawg is a filthy man with little in the way of looks. Moose is aligned with Leech. Thus I am cheering Moose on as disturbing as that may be to some.
Ricky Simms - I honestly don't care one way or the other.
Moose places Dawg across the middle rope and chokes him with it, breaking the choke before the ref has a chance to reach the five count for a DQ. Moose then pulls Dawg to his feet, whips him hard into the corner buckle and spears him in the back. Dawg falls forward, his face bouncing off the middle rope and Moose rolls him up for the pin. 1...2... Dawg manages to kick out. Moose stands The Dawg up, whips him off the ropes and Dawg ducks a clothesline attempt and head butts Moose into the ropes. Dawg then knees Moose in the gut three times and gives him a vertical suplex to the mat. It is then The Dawg's turn to try for the pin. 1...2... kick out by The Moose. Dawg then stands Moose up, whips him into the corner and charges into the corner shoulder first. Moose sidesteps the charging Dawg and gives him a Rock Bottom to the mat. Moose goes for the pin. 1...2... Dawg manages to roll a shoulder out. Moose argues with the ref about the speed of his count.
Henry Lesher - Clearly that was a three count.
Ricky Simms - If it was that clear, the match would be over.
Henry Lesher - The match was over before it began. Dawg is out of his league here.
Moose stands The Dawg up, whips him off the ropes and boots him in the face, knocking him back down to the mat. Moose then heads to the ropes, climbs to the second rope and lands a knee to the forehead of The Dawg from there and again goes for the pin. 1...2... Dawg again rolls a shoulder out. Moose shakes his head and rolls The Dawg out of the ring. He then grabs the steel ring steps and holds them high above his head. Dawg spears Moose into the corner post to avoid the shot with the steps. Dawg then tries for a clothesline on Moose against the steel post, but Moose ducks it and Dawg clotheslines the post instead. Dawg grasps at his shoulder while Moose grasps at his back. Dawg rolls himself into the ring as Moose again grabs the ring steps and then rolls himself into the ring. Moose takes a series of kicks to the head from Dawg while not letting go of the ring steps. Dawg pulls Moose to his feet and Moose clubs him in the gut with the ring steps, causing the ref to call for the bell. Moose again slams the steps into the gut of The Dawg and then places the steps before him and smiles.
Ricky Simms - Evil intentions here by The Moose.
Henry Lesher - I bloody hope so. We've been overdue for those.
Moose stands on the ring steps and sets Dawg up for what appears to be an impending Pedigree on him. The move is never executed as Halloween Jack races into the ring and clotheslines Moose off the steps. As he beats Moose down, we see Hellfire Jack rolling into the ring and then helping Halloween Jack with the beat down on Moose. It's then that we see Leech charging into the ring to make the save as Dawg rolls himself out of the ring, clearly winded from the shots with the ring steps. The two Jacks then have a few words at ringside. Leech stands in the ring challenging the two Jacks to get back into the ring, but they are too busy squabbling among themselves. We then hear "Money" by Pink Floyd and out comes Hector Braun.
Hector Braun - Well look at this. Moose's party ruined by the two Jacks. Leech all looking for a fight before his match tonight and poor Moose left lying there. I think next week at Security Breach we can make everyone happy. Since the two Jacks seem to be on the same page and all, you two will tag up to meet Leech and Moose at Security Breach. The winners then get title shots against the tag champs the week after the pay per view is over. This should make for great fun next week, shouldn't it? I knew you would love that.
The two Jacks continue to squabble as if not even having heard the announcement as they make their way to the back and Leech continues to demand a fight here.
Ricky Simms - Hellfire Jack is moving up fast here. If he beats Gerard Angelo, he is set to get a TV title shot the week after Security Breach. It's entirely possible he could have two matches that week for two titles.
Henry Lesher - Not against Leech and Moose. That won't happen.
We head to commercial.
We see NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman in his office. He gives us a smile and addresses the issues. "We have locked the NHL players out and we know you've heard the players' side. Now hear our side. The NHL is run by billionaires. Our owners were allowed to sign players for any price they wanted and overspent themselves into the ground. We blame the owners' screw up squarely on the players. The owners clearly cannot manage themselves so we are asking the players to manage them for the good of the league. We have expanded into territories where no one even gives a damn about hockey like the United States and we believe the NHL has 30 strong franchises, even those playing to empty buildings. They all generate good revenues, though not enough under this present system. NHL players are greedy. We're just looking for what is fair to make us richer than the billionaires most owners already are." The shot then fades and we see this message was brought to us by the NHL owners.
Garth Rivers vs Vesuvius vs Radd Matthews
"Down With the Sickness" by Disturbed plays as Garth Rivers makes his way to the ring to the cheers of the crowd. Garth steps onto the apron and looks around, shaking his head as he takes in the audience adulation. He steps through the ropes and starts talking to the ref as we hear "Mine Teil" by Rammstein and Vesuvius makes his way to the ring. Vesuvius gets a negative reaction with Xandra leading the mountain man to the ring. He steps onto the apron and has a few unkind words for Rivers. As they exchange pleasantries, we hear "Vindicated" by Dashboard Confessional and Radd Matthews comes out to the cheers of the crowd. Vesuvius and Garth are nose to nose inside the ring as Radd stands at ringside and watches this develop. The start trading knife edge chops and Radd smiles as he steps onto the apron. Radd makes his way to the top and calls out to Vesuvius and Garth and then lands a flying body press on both of them as the match starts with the bell sounding. Radd stands up Rivers, whips him off the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. He then ducks a straight arm from Vesuvius who just got to his feet and gives him an inverted atomic drop.
Ricky Simms - Fast start here for Radd.
Henry Lesher - He's on the fast track to the bottom. This quick start is a mirage. It won't last.
Ricky Simms - Glad you're not a weatherman. It would rain every day.
Henry Lesher - No, I would have hurricanes wiping out people like you. There are people in Florida that piss me off. Look what happened to them.
Ricky Simms - That's right. You control the weather.
Henry Lesher - Oh ye of little faith.
Radd whips Vesuvius through the ropes to the floor and then stands up Garth Rivers and whips him into the corner. He then charges straight into a big boot to the jaw from Garth who then climbs to the second rope and delivers a forearm smash to the jaw of Matthews from there. Rivers then picks Radd up and power slams him to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Radd Matthews. Garth then stands Radd up and Vesuvius rolls himself back into the ring. Vesuvius pulls the feet out from underneath Rivers and then punches Matthews in the gut before whipping him through the ropes to the floor. Vesuvius then steps out onto the apron and lands an elbow smash to the chest of Radd from there before standing him up and rolling him back into the ring where Garth Rivers is waiting and goes for the pin on Radd. 1...2... Vesuvius breaks it up by pulling Rivers out of the ring and once again the two of them start trading rights and lefts to the head. Vesuvius eye gouges Garth and then slams his head into the ring steps. He then rolls Garth into the ring and quickly follows and tries for the pin. 1...2... Garth manages to kick out. Vesuvius then gets to his feet, grabs Garth by the hair and totally forgets about Radd Matthews who delivers a super kick to the back of the head of Vesuvius and then whips Garth off the ropes and both men clothesline each other to the mat.
Ricky Simms - All three men down here.
Henry Lesher - Good, I hope they all stay down. I might have cheered for Vesuvius at one point, but he's gone soft.
Radd Matthews shows signs of getting up first and then Garth Rivers does as well as the ref reaches a five count. On six, Vesuvius also shows signs of life here, using the ropes to start pulling himself to his feet. Radd makes it to his feet first and grabs Vesuvius by the hair and head butts him back into the corner. He then starts landing kicks to the gut on Vesuvius as Garth approaches behind Radd. Garth chop blocks Radd to the mat and then takes a kick to the face from Vesuvius who goes for the pin with his feet on the ropes. 1...2... the ref notices Vesuvius using the ropes for leverage and refuses to continue the count. Vesuvius has a few words for the ref as he pulls Garth to his feet and whips him off the ropes. Garth ducks a clothesline and then tosses Vesuvius out of the ring. Radd then starts sparring with Garth in the middle of the ring as Vesuvius gets to his feet on the floor. He turns and gets a face full of chair from Scavenger who has Shannon Skanes following close behind and he levels Vesuvius with a clothesline which he then tells Vesuvius is payback from months ago.
Henry Lesher - That's hardly fair!
Ricky Simms - Look who is talking about fair.
Radd gives Garth a spine buster to the mat as Vesuvius is rolled into the ring by Shannon Skanes. The ref has a few words for Shannon, but Shannon points out that he is wearing a ref's shirt and appears to give the ref of this match scout's honour that he did nothing to Vesuvius.
Henry Lesher - That man was never in scouts!
Ricky Simms - How the hell would you know?
Radd Matthews grabs hold of Vesuvius and lands the Eraddicater on him and goes for the pin. 1...2...3! Garth Rivers then grabs Radd and whips him out of the ring, clearly not happy with this result. He starts brawling with Radd outside the ring as Scavenger enters the ring and has a few words for the fallen and somewhat out cold mountain man about seeing him next week.
Henry Lesher - That's a great injustice!
Ricky Simms - Whatever. You cheer for Leech.
Henry Lesher - Leech is a real man.
Backstage we see Slim Pickens with a strap in his hand and Kelly Buchanan at his side while maintaining her distance.
Kelly Buchanan - Slim, tonight you get your shot at Leech.
Slim Pickens - Tonight Leech bleeds! Tonight his dreams die against me! Tonight I show the GWO how a hero acts! Tonight... I destroy Leech!
Kelly Buchanan - Any comments on the ending of your ally Dawg's match earlier?
Slim Pickens - Moose is on my hit list, too! Just remember that anyone beating me is at best... a slim proposition!
Kelly nods as Slim exits the area.
Gerard Angelo vs Hellfire Jack
"Hell Song" by Sum 41 plays as Gerard Angelo makes his way to the ring with a smile on his face and the TV title over his shoulder. The fans boo him once again, but he doesn't seem to care. He has a T-shirt on which proclaims him as a member of Youthful Aggression as he steps onto the apron and looks out at the booing crowd. He steps into the ring and then we hear the theme from The Magnificent Seven and out comes Hellfire Jack. He looks to be deep in thought as he makes his way to the ring, though he does pause at the ringside area to soak in the cheers of the fans. Jack then steps up onto the apron and then through the ropes.
Ricky Simms - If Jack wins this match, he gets a shot at the TV title the week after Security Breach.
Henry Lesher - I keep hearing people backstage going on and on about this guy and I don't get it. He's just another wrestler.
Ricky Simms - You may think that, but a lot of people have him pegged for big time stardom.
The bell sounds and the two lock up in the center of the ring. Gerard kicks Jack in the gut. Jack then lands a forearm smash to the jaw of Angelo. He then whips Gerard into the corner and gives him a sidewalk slam out of it to the mat. Jack then gives Gerard a knee drop to the forehead and then places him in a sleeper hold. Gerard gasps and reaches for the ropes as the ref asks him if he submits. As Jack applies the hold, we see Leech coming out from the back to which the crowd reacts with loud booing.
Ricky Simms - This can't be good.
Henry Lesher - It's not good. It's great!
Leech makes his way around the ring as Hellfire Jack's eyes follow him the whole way while maintaining the sleeper on Gerard. Leech grabs a headset from the announce table and takes a seat beside Ricky Simms with Lesher on the other side.
Henry Lesher - Great to have a fine announcer on board.
Ricky Simms - What are you doing here?
Leech - Rick, enough of the paranoia. I can come out and watch a fine wrestling match if I want to, especially since I face the two Jacks next week.
Ricky Simms - That's what I am worried about.
The ref checks on Gerard, but Angelo refuses to submit here and his arms are not dropping. He then elbows Jack in the gut twice to loosen the hold and then gives him a fall away slam to completely break it altogether. Gerard then quickly gets to his feet and starts putting the boots to Jack. Gerard headlocks Jack and goes for a bulldog only to have Jack stop it and give Gerard an atomic drop. Jack then sets Gerard for a pile drivers, but Gerard straightens up and backdrops Jack to the mat. Gerard then elbow drops Jack and goes for the pin. 1...2... Jack manages to kick out. Gerard then stands Jack up, whips him into the corner and then gives him a dropkick back into the corner. Gerard then sets for a monkey flip, but Jack holds the corner rope with one hand and shoves Gerard to the mat with the other.
Leech - Shame Gerard doesn't have a damn clue how to finish someone off.
Ricky Simms - He does have a title though.
Leech - So do I, prick.
Ricky Simms - Yours is dead.
Leech - I'll show you dead.
Henry Lesher - Pay him no mind. He doesn't appreciate true greatness like I do.
Hellfire Jack knee lifts Gerard in the face and then gives him a side Russian leg sweep to the mat. Jack then rolls Gerard over for the pin. 1...2... kick out by Gerard Angelo. Jack stands Gerard up and whips him through the ropes to the floor. Jack then heads over to the side of the ring where Leech sits and has a few words for him.
Leech - Mind on your match, buddy! You're not man enough to take me down! Keep your mind on your match, idiot!
Ricky Simms - And I am flanked on both sides by impartial commentary.
Gerard rolls himself back into the ring. Hellfire Jack turns his attention to Gerard and puts the boots to him. Gerard then shoots for a leg and takes Jack down and applies an ankle lock submission on him. Gerard tries to tighten the hold as Jack struggles to free himself. Jack rolls over on his back and kicks Gerard in the chest with his free leg and quickly gets to his feet as Gerard charges at him and knees him in the chest. Gerard then snap mares Jack to the mat. Jack gets to his feet, turns and kicks Gerard in the gut and then gives him a stunner to the mat and goes for the pin. 1...2... Gerard gets a foot on the ropes. Leech then gets up from his announce position without a word of explanation why.
Ricky Simms - What the hell is he doing?
Henry Lesher - Stop being nosey. He can do whatever he wants to.
Jack stands Gerard up, whips him off the ropes and then Gerard ducks a clothesline, elbows Jack in the chest and then whips him to the ropes where Leech drops the top rope down and Hellfire Jack tumbles over the ropes and to the floor as the ref calls for the DQ here. Leech starts laying the boots to Hellfire Jack. Gerard Angelo is ticked at losing this match that way, so he climbs to the top rope and leaps off, drop kicking Leech in the back and sending him flying. Gerard then tosses Leech over the guard railing and Leech scurries off into the crowd. Gerard swears and slams his fists on the announce table before he grabs his title belt and heads to the back. Hellfire Jack then gets to his feet and listens to fans in the area telling him which way Leech went and charges off after him.
Ricky Simms - Another match ruined by that man.
Henry Lesher - He puts the fun in wrestling. He really does.
We head to commercial.
We see Xtasy reading a book in his large home. He smiles at us. "I am proud to announce the release of my new book, 'The Joy of Being Xtasy.' It is 500 pages about how great I am and how to be as cool as me. Now I know GWO has expanded into the international market and that's because I was there. Any wrestling organization that has greatness like me becomes something excellent. That is because I am excellent." We then see Frank Merritt with a torn shoe in one hand while covering his eye with the other. "How's your investment doing, Frank?" "Fuck you, X." Xtasy shakes his head. "Shit kickers indeed. The shit they kick might be yours." He goes back to reading his book as Frank attends to the pepper spray problem in his eye.
Max Cameron charges into Hector Braun's office.
Hector Braun - At least knock first.
Max Cameron - What's with the rumour about the world title match being changed?
Hector laughs.
Hector Braun - You see, you and Devo have done nothing lately. You have shown me precious little to show me you're world champion material and you seem to think you outsmarted me. Therefore, I am dealing with a quandary. Do I reward sloth?
Max Cameron - You kept me in a wheelchair!
Hector Braun - Yes, but you were foolish enough to wind up there. Therefore I needed someone who has been screwed over as much as you. I needed someone who just plain doesn't like you and I figured Myst was the perfect choice. She has beaten Devo recently and proved she can end you if she gets the chance.
Max Cameron - Not this time, Hector. That title is mine.
Hector Braun - Then you will have no problem with Myst being in the match, will you?
Max Cameron - You'll pay, Hector.
Hector Braun - I don't think so.
Kosmic Kitty vs Rated R
"Scandalous" by Mis-Teeq plays as Kosmic Kitty makes her way to the ring, tossing out Twinkies one way and Payday bars the other. She is also carrying leaflets that proclaim the wonder of Twinkies and the need to save the bankrupt pastry snack. As she hands her basket off to a young fan and asks one young man in the front to hand out her flyers, we hear "I Hate Everything About You" by Three Days Grace and Rated R makes his way to the ring with his newly won Pacific title over his shoulder. The crowd has a more mixed reaction to him. He steps into the ring as Kitty takes her place in the corner of the ring. The crowd cheers as the bell sounds to officially start this match. The two lock up. Rated R then breaks that and places Kitty in an arm bar. She does a standing somersault, but Rated R grabs her by the hair and pulls her to the mat. The ref orders a break of the arm bar as the fans boo Rated R here. Rated R stands Kitty up, whips her into the corner and charges into the corner only to have Kitty jump onto the ropes and then gives Rated R a hurricarana to the mat.
Ricky Simms - Rated R not showing any mercy here against the lovely Kosmic Kitty.
Henry Lesher - Why should he? That's crap!
Kosmic Kitty places Rated R in a head scissors submission hold on the mat. Rated R's shoulders are on the mat, so the referee counts. 1...2... kick out by Rated R who then rolls over and out of the hold and then quickly places Kitty in a sleeper. It doesn't last as Kitty reaches for and grabs the ropes to force the break. From there, Rated R grabs Kitty by the hair and whips her out of the ring, again to the boos of the crowd. We then see Radd Matthews on his way to ringside. That brings the fans to their feet. He has a few words with Rated R who laughs Radd off and tells him to leave. Rated R then steps out of the ring, picks Kitty up and drops her on the steel ring steps. The ref immediately calls for the bell as Kitty lies unconscious outside the ring. Radd Matthews charges around the ring and starts going at it toe to toe with Rated R.
Ricky Simms - What got into Rated R? He dropped her face on the steel steps! That was wrong!
Henry Lesher - Kitty never should have signed the contract if she couldn't handle a little brutality. Now boyfriend is out here a moment too late for the save. In fact, Ryan was being perfectly decent until he showed up and pushed the matter further.
Radd Matthews picks Rated R up and drops him face first on the steel guard rail and then goes to Kosmic Kitty to attend to her. Kitty isn't moving and there's blood on her forehead from the shot on the steps. Radd is seen calling for a medic on scene, tears in his eyes as the crowd starts a chant for Kitty. We then see Rated R getting to his feet with a smile on his face as blood trickles down his cheek and off his chin. He smiles as he heads to the back, Pacific title once again over his shoulder and taunts Radd Matthews.
Ricky Simms - What happened here? Since when is Rated R a sadist like this?
Henry Lesher - He has always been that way. You just have a bad memory. I remember him with Zyliss and Cross and the damage they did together.
Ricky Simms - Sickness. Sickness drives a man to these depraved lengths. Rated R is going to do anything it takes to keep that belt, even if it means getting disqualified.
Henry Lesher - Hey, he's the one walking. She's the one getting taken out on a stretcher. Simple facts tell you who won this match this week. It sure as hell wasn't Kitty.
Rated R is still laughing as he heads backstage and EMTs attend to Kosmic Kitty. We then look backstage and see Myst in Hector Braun's office.
Myst - What's the deal, Braun? You give me nothing, declare war on former CWA wrestler and give me a title shot?
Hector Braun - I expect you to end Max Cameron. This week you win the world title and end Max as we know him. It's pretty simple, Myst. Are you up to the task?
Myst - Oh I am up to the task. I just want to know what's in it for you.
Hector Braun - I am the boss around here. People will see that I am not going anywhere. They will learn to fear crossing me.
Myst - We'll see about that.
Myst turns and leaves Hector's office. She shuts the door and behind it we see Noah Skanes, Dan Jalldoff and Tony Parizi waiting for her.
Noah Skanes - The guy's an idiot.
Myst - *nods* Clearly he is. He's in for a shock. Pay back's a bitch.
Slim Pickens vs Leech
As "96 Quite Bitter Beings" by CKY plays, Shannon walks out from the back wearing a ref shirt, with a grim smile on his face. He enters the ring holding a leather strap still with the smile planted firmly on his face.
Ricky Simms - Leech really doesn't stand a chance here.
Henry Lesher - That's blasphemy!
"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns and Roses plays in the arena as Slim makes his way out from the back. He walks to the ring with his head held high getting ready for the match. Slim slides under the bottom rope waiting for his opponent.
Ricky Simms - This should be a good match, it's apparent that Slim is holding grudges. I'd hate to be Leech right now.
Henry Lesher - I'd hate it if you were Leech too.
"Enemies of Reality" blasts on the PA system as Leech makes his way out of the back to the "Boos" of the crowd. Leech storms down to the ring and slides under the bottom rope. Leech steps right up to face Slim, and they exchange a few words. Shannon steps in and secures the strap to the wrists of both Slim and Leech and then immediately takes a cheap shot at Leech hitting him in the jaw. Leech staggers back a step and winks at slim. Leech and Slim turn facing Shannon.
Ricky Simms - What's this?
Henry Lesher - A miracle.
Leech and Slim charge Shannon, and take him down with a clothesline using the strap. Leech wraps the strap around the throat of Shannon as Slim starts stomping the mid-section of Shannon. Leech releases Shannon and begins stomping him as well.
Ricky Simms - I never expected to see this outcome!
Henry Lesher - I'm loving this.
Slim and Leech pick Shannon up and wrap the strap around Shannon's throat. Together they kick Shannon right in his lower back. Shannon falls to the ground, and Slim raises his arms to celebrate over the fallen Shannon, but he does so just as Leech takes him down with a thunderous clothesline.
Ricky Simms - What's Leech doing?
Henry Lesher - What he's best at!
Leech mounts Slim, and starts laying in punches with a twisted smile on his face. Leech pounds Slim until his face busts open, before he pulls Slim to his feet. Leech drops Slim with a huge reversed DDT, as Shannon starts moving on the other side of the ring.
Ricky Simms - If Shannon gets to his feet, this could be a mess.
Henry Lesher - Like the mess on Slim's face right now?
Leech picks up Slim again and puts him in a modified dragon sleeper using the strap to choke him. Leech holds the hold Slim fighting it as Shannon has gotten to his feet. No sooner does he get up Leech makes notice. He drops slim and turns towards Shannon. He tries to run over there but Slims weight is too much to drag. Halloween Jack and Hellfire Jack run out from the back.
Ricky Simms - This isn't good for Leech, now the deck is really stacked.
Henry Lesher - He'll come out of it, I know he will.
Hellfire and Halloween jack hit the ring, while Leech is distracted with Shannon. Slim uses all his strength, to deliver a low-blow uppercut, which drops Leech to his knees. Shannon walks up and delivers a dropkick to the face of Leech. Leech falls back on the mat as the Jacks enter the ring.
Ricky Simms - This is looking like it's going to be three on one!
Henry Lesher - This can't be happening.
Hellfire and Halloween start stomping Leech as Slim gets to his feet joining in. Shannon slides out of the ring grabbing a chair. Leech in the ring is picked up by the Jacks and Slim. Slim climbs while the Jacks execute a double suplex. Slim dives off hitting a huge splash. Leech twitches from the impact. Shannon slides into the ring with a chair.
Ricky Simms - Leech is getting taken apart here.
Henry Lesher - Leech needs help here, where is Moose?!
On the big screen a forklift parked in front of Moose's dressing room. Back in the ring Shannon and Slim are taking turns nailing Leech with the Chair. Slim picks Leech up from the mat, and sets him up for a power bomb, while Shannon sets up the chair, which is leaning on one of the legs from a dent. Slim picks Leech up to power bomb him and Shannon gets behind him and they double-power bomb right onto the chair.
Ricky Simms - It's over for Leech.
Henry Lesher - NO!
Slim makes the cover and Shannon does a really fast count, giving Slim the win. Halloween, and Hellfire Jack head to the back accomplishing what they set out to accomplish. Slim Celebrates in the ring, and turns to Shannon to have him join in, but Shannon nails him in the face with a chair. Shannon than stomps on the stomach of Slim, and goes to the side of the ring to grab a Mic.
Shannon Skanes - Slim, when you turn on me, you turn on me for good. There are smart people, and then there are people like you. If you were wise, you'd learn from this mistake. Soon, I will be running the show.
Having said that Shannon leaves the ring, leaving Leech and Slim both out cold. Nothing has been resolved as of yet as we head into Security Breach.
Ricky Simms - What a week! What an ending! Next week is Security Breach and I, for one, cannot wait! See you then, folks!
