Competitor. Warrior. Lunatic. Die-hard. Revolutionary. Leader. Avenger. Any of these words and many more could be used to describe the man known as Steve Jason. Throughout the man's epic eight-year career, it can safely be said that the man has come to literally embody the spirit of competition in the X-Treme Wrestling Federation with such legendary moments as his Lord of the Ring win, the infamous S3 on Shane Carver that cemented his allegiance with the XWF over the CCWF, his historic third Universal title victory, his epic feuds with Bigg Rigg John Gambino, Cyren, the Black Order, Andrew Gibson, the Golden Boy and many, many others. For better or worse, Steve Jason has helped carve the very essence of the X-Treme Wrestling Federation itself.

Steve hails from one of the least likely countries to have a presence in professional wrestling, growing up on the beaches of the Sunset Coast, on the western coast of Australia, where his youth among the waves taught him the disciplines he is now famous for- like the very ocean itself, he's known for being calm yet intense, mellow yet assertive, amiable yet unrelenting. This is only augmented by his study of tactics and strategy, and his knowledge in the martial arts, all of which have helped him gain the complete control and unity of his skills and abilities to rise to success.

After graduating from the University of Western Australia in 1997 with a B.Sc in Psychology and Human Movement, he set out on a journey to train and learn his skills, visiting locations such as Japan, China, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Canada, and even Israel, picking up knowledge as he want. At the age of 23, he entered professional wrestling in the Carver Championship Wrestling Federation, where he enjoyed a short but lucrative career before the folding of the company - which led him to the XWF.

Early in his XWF career, Steve was a small fish in a big pond - and aside from a Canadian title run, had little to his name. It was in 2003 when he suddenly developed a runaway train of success, acquiring World titles, a Universal title, and even the prestigious Lord of the Ring before the year was out. Some credit this to an evolution in his skill, others to tutelage under established wrestlers, others to his advisor Talia Richards. What can be determined is that the train of success ran over the course of several years, and he now stands confirmed as an XWF Legend.

However, Steve is not one to sit on his morals. After a brief retirement from the industry - and a collapse of a corporation he invested in, his security company, a marriage between his two dearest friends - he was inspired by the recent success of returnee Jayzon Williamz to return to the XWF and continue his legacy - and take it to heights never before seen.

Every fighter has their man-behind-the-man - but Steve Jason's is certainly not what most people would expect. Behind the well-oiled combat superiority machine that is Steve Jason is the petite, graceful and lovely Talia Richards - not a combination that most would expect. Having met in Los Angeles at the start of Steve's career, Talia was originally working for her father in the Richards Conglomerate, a large corporation with its hands in many fields including real-estate, entertainment and telecommunications. It was in entertainment that Talia got her start - as Steve Jason's official agent and liaison. In this role, Talia has seen Steve through many achievements - multiple World title wins, an X-Mas X-Treme Tournament win, and of course, three Universal Championship runs. She has been actively referred to by former husband Dougy McNamara as 'Cortana to SJ's Master Chief'. She is effectively Steve's right hand, moral compass and closest confidante - and a regular source of rumours about the two.

After Steve left the business presumably for good and after the collapse of the Richards Conglomerate - partially believed to be caused by Steve himself - relations between the two were believed to be shaky, a fact reinforced by her divorce from Dougy McNamara earlier this year. However, despite this, she has reunited with Steve at his new base of operations in San Francisco, and it would appear she intends to continue her role as his close advisor and confidante.

Marcus Enderton is a former XWF wrestler and Anglo-Zimbabwean displaced from his farm at an early age by the Mugabe administration. His childhood and early adult years took place all around Africa - first living with his family in Mauritius, then serving in the South African army. He is most well-known for attempting a career in the XWF in 2009 - which, while initially promising, seemed to be a poor fit. He and Steve Jason met on the latter's travels, with the Avenger deciding to accept Marcus as a traveling companion and friend. Marcus accompanied Steve to his base of ops at San Francisco and regularly meets up with him.

Dougy McNamara is effectively Steve Jason's oldest and closest friend. The two of them have been friends since an altercation between the two at a Sunset Coast playground when they were two years old. Originally rivals for control of the park's climbing frame, the two eventually got on well, and went to the same elementary school. Since then, both men have found themselves tied together on the same path in life- with Dougy along for Steve's adventures and more than a few times Steve bailing Dougy out of trouble. Dougy is effectively the stereotypical 'Aussie bloke'- loud, happy-go-lucky and boisterous, the crazy party animal foil to Steve's cooler and stoic straightman approach.

Dougy's managed to make a name for himself independent of Steve, however, as he's started a chain of bar/cafe hybrids known as 'The Shack', based on a retro 1990s feel.

Since Steve's mid-2010 return to wrestling and the aftermath of Dougy's divorce from Talia Richards, he has decided to remain in the two's hometown of Perth, which is Steve's second base of operations, and the two continue to keep in touch on a regular basis.
