SJ Funk and cZw part ways. - It has been announced today that SJ Funk's contract with American Wrestling Company Combat Zone Wrestling has come to an end. SJ Funk who has had a bad year with injuries has announced that he and cZw officials have come to the conclusion that while SJ is recovering from an operation on a torn Knee Cartlidge, there is to be no renewel of his contract. However it is unknown whether contracts will be re-negotiated once SJ has made a full recovery. 

SJ Funk has recently undergone major knee surgery to repair a torn knee cartlidge. The injury accured while SJ Funk was playing football (Soccer) for an amatuer football team based in Wigton, England named West Cumbria.
