A huge multicolored pyro display goes off behind him, culminating in a pyro spelling 'Denton' in the air.
Announcer:Now making his way to the ring, from New Orleans, weighing in at 312 pounds. 'The Self Made Billionaire' MATT DENTON!
Matt continues to make his way down to the ring. Matt still getting booed by the monster crowd in attendance. Matt looks to the fans, with a sneer on his face. Matt reaches the end of the ramp. The Announcer is standing in the ring like a big buffoon, Matt shouts at The Annoncer to hold open the ropes for Matt as he leaps onto the apron ala Brock Lesnar, and he pushes The Announcer halfway across the ring. Matt climbs up the turnbuckle and does a Shooting Star Press move off the top rope, grabbing the crowds attention before landing cleanly on his feet. Yet the display doesn't gain him any fanfare. Matt stands awaiting the beginning of his match.
.:Associates:.
Wayne Robinson:- The main bodyguard of Mr. Denton. He is usually calm and confident, but can let his temper get the better of him. Wayne is usually decked out in a black suit, with earpiece. He carries a canister of pepper spray just incase. IF it doesn't control the situation, he uses his brute strength to beat some sense into threats.
JC Denton:- Brother of Mr. Denton. A former wrestler, left the business because of some bad blood. JC makes his living now in law enforcement. He does go back into the 'squared circle' occasionally to beat some sense into people he likes to call 'Stupid Fuckwits'.
Jack Lomond:- Mr. Denton's wrestling coach. Jack was blacklisted as an actual competitor for using steroids. Now he helps other up-and-coming wrestlers get into the business. The reason he hangs around Mr. Denton is because he likes to try and fight him.
.:History:.
Matt Denton was born on December 24th 1980, in the suburbs of Houston, Texas. Matt was a very athletic child, taking part in all sports that were available to him. He was very tall for his age and was recruited by the Basketball team. Matt on several occasions single handidly won matches for his High School. Matt currently holds the record for the most three pointers in a single game. Matt also started to play American Football too, Matt wasn’t as good as that, within his first season, Matt was sidelined by a broken ankle. Matt hit the gym to help his recovery, where he started to work on his upper body aswell. Matt did well in his recovery, coming back to the grid-iron way stronger by before. He tore through oppsing teams like a hot knife through butter, gaining many wins for his team. Matt then was asked by a friend to accompany him to a ECW event. Matt did so and they saw a hell of an event. After that night, Matt knew what he wanted to do. He started to train at the old ECW House Of Hardcore, where Matt learned most of his high flying and hardcore style. Matt eventually got an offer to join the FWA, a small time federation in Texas. His first night involved a Triple Threat match, the winner would face the winner of another Triple Threat match, in a Ladder match for the vacant FWA United States Championship. Matt prevailed in that match to move on to that Ladder match. His opponent happened to be a FWA Veteran called Havoc. Havoc pretty much dominated Matt, that was until Havoc pulled off a huge back drop from a 20 foot ladder and landed awkwardly. Matt took advantage and climbed the ladder and won the FWA US Championship. Matt was subsequently attacked by one of the former US Champions, Lawrence Liberty. Matt ended up being carried out on a strecher that night. This started a monster feud between Denton & Liberty, that ended when Laurence left the FWA. Matt wasn’t defeated for that championship, instead, the federation took a short hiatus, and restarted, with all champions being stripped of their gold. Matt tried to petition this but he couldn’t, with the boss in his corner, he couldn’t put his career in jeopardy. Matt was then put into a company wide Battle Royal with all titles on the line. Matt outlasted 17 other people before being eliminated to capture the FWA International Championship. Matt wasn’t able to defend the title before the FWA went on hiatus again, and came back forcing all Champions to hand over their gold AGAIN. Matt took this as a huge slap in the face and finally took action against the boss. Matt and the boss were in the ring during a public firing session, and Matt took out the boss with the Death Ride. Matt grabbed the microphone to announce that he quit. Matt was out of a job, until WCF came calling. Matt entered the national federation, and completely dominated the competition. Matt was the first man to have won all the titles at one time or another. Matt held onto the WCF Hardcore Championship, beating down on all comers, racking up a total of 154 wins in all 4 of his title reigns. Matt Denton started to feud with the WCF Champion Joey Partick after he lost his WCF Hardcore Title to Myst. Matt and Joey had a number of classic matches for the WCF Championship, including Matt’s speciality match, the Hellfire match, which was basically a normal Cage match, but the cage is on fire. Matt and Joey started to trade the title seven times within a year. The final match was a 60 minute Iron Man Match with the WCF Title on the line. Both men put on an impressive performance, including Matt who hit a massive 450 Corkscrew Moonsualt from the turnbuckle through the French Announce Table. By the end of the 60 mins there was 30 seconds on the clock, Matt was down 5 to 4, Matt hit a desperation Death Ride. Matt and Joey were both out as the final ten seconds began to count down. At 4 seconds left Matt got an arm over Joey for the 1, 2, 3. The referee announced that Joey retained the title. Matt got up and shook Joey’s hand. Matt left WCF for bigger heights, joining the SSE, SCW & IRW. That’s where we leave this for now.
