RULES

1) USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT. I'm pretty sure that you guys are familiar with e-feds and I'm pretty sure that you guys know how to act in an e-fed. If you use your heads, then we should be fine. If you think something is a bad idea, don't do it. Rules shouldn't even be needed, but I have to include the main ones anyways because Lord knows that someone will be a tard and find a way to break them.

2) No use of other people's character(s) without permission. This is one thing that everyone should know, but still. Like I said before, don't be stupid.

3) If you copy any other people's work, you will be kicked out. You won't be able to return, either. By copying other people's work, you know what you're doing. Don't come crying to me when I job your character and kick you out.

4) The XWC has the right to use your character in shows. Most of the time it will be used to give you an angle and/or to make the show run smoothly. If you have any special requests on not being used, email me.

5) No complaining about losses. The decision of the management team is final. Plus, you look like a tremendous baby to the rest of the roster.

6) You will be suspended for no-showing. If you no-show your first match, you will be removed permanantly unless you notify me with a reason. If you're a roster member and have proven some consistency, I won't mind if you no-show once. But if it becomes an issue, I will talk to you and warn you. If you continue to no-show, you will be suspended. There's no reason for you to be here if you're not going to do your part.

7) The OOC Timeout System: This is a system that I personally created that went into use with the last fed I was in, DW. If you're becoming an annoyance on the boards, you will receive a one week ban from the OOC forum. You'll still have access to the RP forum, though. Like Rule 1, just use your head and you'll be just fine.

8) CREATED CHARACTERS ONLY. Sorry, HHH, you can't join as yourself.

9) Have fun. It's why we're all here. It's not going to be an uptight attitude backstage, so just have fun.

About RPs

1) There will be no word limits on rps. But, that doesn't mean that long rps will be judged as better just because they're longer. Whatever rp is more entertaining or more well written will win, even if they are smothered by their opponent in words. Words do matter if a contest is close, but it's only a small thing.

2) The rp limit for all Combustion events will be 3 RPs. If the match is for a title, the limit may be raised to 4. That's only if it's a huge match, though.

3) All PPVs will have a rp limit of 4. PPV main events will have a limit of 5.

4) THE ANTISANDBAGGIN RULE: If you don't post a rp 24 hours previous to the deadline, you will not be allowed to rp at all. You have six days beforehand, get them in.

5) There will be no censoring of rps whatsoever. Use curse words, write about the grossest thing you can imagine, I don't care. If I think the rp is good, then I don't care what you put in it.

6) RPs hosted on layouts are not only accepted, but encouraged. It's much easier to read rps on a webpage. If you need a layout or some HTML help, don't be afraid to ask other roster members or myself.

7) The rp deadline will be on midnight Eastern time, the night before the event. That makes the rp deadline for Combustion midnight on Fridays and for PPVs, it's midnight on Saturdays. There will be no Combustions on the week we have a PPV.

This might bring up some questions on how to win matches. While we don't have a set rubric or a point tally, rps will be judged with the following things in mind:

- Originality: RPs that explore areas of writing that haven't been previously explored before will definitely catch my eye. Don't get me wrong, if you do something common but take it above where it's been taken before, by all means do it. I just encourage you to try new things that will keep me interested.
- Well-written: How well do you play your character? If he's a jerk, do I hate him? If he's funny, do I laugh? If he's a murderer, do I fear him? If you play your character well, that will win you many matches.
-Grammar: I'm not an English teacher and won't try to be one, but if I see loads of mistakes then it might take some points of. If you make a couple of mistakes here and there, then I won't care. I'm not a stickler for grammar, I just don't like reading clusterfuck rps.

Also, if your well-liked backstage it could help things. In a close match, it's much easier to give a win to a person whom everyone likes than to an asshole.
