The chirping of the birds in the daylight sun was all that could be heard throughout the park. The place was very, very green and very, very flower garden-esque. Green grass and trees, flowers and bushes all over the place, shrubbery surrounding a playground with a sidewalk leading throughout the area. It was a massive park, and on this day was a very nice place to take a walk through.

Of course, it was also a nice place to think to yourself.

On this day, with the sun beating upon his covered back, Dominic had decided to go for a walk. The park had attracted his attention due to the serenity of it all--serenity that he had needed to find for awhile. He had been happier then ever after Eve, he won his matches and got the rest he needed for his wounds. He was able to spend more time with Suki, and now he was set to face off against a newcomer on Suicide.

This...of course, was what he needed to think upon.

"Carnival Cutie..." Dominic muttered, a frown on his features, "What the fuck are those people thinking? Why on Earth would they put me in such a match with this new guy? We don't want to embarass the guy...shit, this is just too much. It's like they think I was the one who wanted that stipulation added against Logan."

Dominic kicked a small rock down the sidewalk, sighing softly. The sun tried it's best to bring a smile upon his features, warming his body but not beating down on him too hard. The clouds watched as their leader did his best to inspire Dominic to bring his mind to ease, but all for vain.

Blissfully unaware was he who did not know the heaven's intent. Dominic wiped the sweat from his brow and watched a few birds fly through the trees, chasing one another in some sort of a game. Atleast, this was what it appeared to be. It could be noted that they were fighting over food just as well, but this did not play much into Dominic's thought pattern. He was far too focused on the upcoming events at hand, events that he was actually quite reluctant to participate in.

"Suddenly it's like they're trying to make me out to be the guy to watch out for. I can just hear it now, 'Hey bud, better watch out for that Pericolo guy...he'll put you in a dress'. What the hell? This kid's a rookie, just like I was a year ago. They shouldn't just book him in a match like this, he doesn't deserve to debut in that fashion."

Dominic ran his fingers through his hair, sighing and shaking his head softly. This was very frustrating, he didn't want to humiliate anyone. The only reason why he wound up facing Logan in that match was because Manson decided that it would be a funny stipulation to put into the match. He'd heard of what had happened, wasn't too appealing to know that he then faced the possibility of being forced into a dress.

Thank God he had only faced Matthew Logan, and not someone who would have actually challenged him.

Dominic smiled a little, the thought amusing him enough to prompt the expression. Dominic of course did not mean these thoughts, for Logan had given him a challenge as per usual--the problem Dominic saw in it however was that it was only as difficult as their past encounters had been. Logan seemed to be stuck in a rut, not advancing forward or backward in any way whatsoever. It was dissapointing, really, because they had both came in at the same time and people had high expectations. Being the lone wolf at his level wasn't that fun, and the fact that Champ had surpassed him all ready left him stuck in the middle.

And now a guy from the bottom of the ladder was reaching up and nipping at his ankles, trying to bring him down in one of the greater ways one could do so. It was bothersome really, considering this poor guy probably didn't want the match anymore then Dominic did.

"Hope this guy knows I didn't ask for the damn thing, and I swear if Chaz booked this then I'm going to have a few words with the guy."

The sun had finally given up on attempting to persuade Dominic's emotions to lighten, calling forth the clouds to block it's view of the land below so it could atleast find others more willing to accept it's help. Was that a small child crying? A little sunlight should help her just fine, perhaps her mother will get her a new ice-cream too.

"Ugh, fuck it...I can't stand this anymore." Dominic said, his eyes narrowing to a glare as he gazed down upon the ground below. The frustration building within him was beginning to crescendo in a way that he certainly hadn't wanted it to, but truthfully had no means in which to stop it.

"I am not going to humiliate anyone. I am not going to end this guy's career before it even got the chance to take off the ground. If Chaz wants me to keep getting into matches where the loser wears female clothing, he can put the clothes onto them himself. I sure as hell am not going to do it, I refuse to let my name be tarnished by something so fucking stupid."

Dominic stopped next to a rather large tree, leaning against it and looking up at the sky with a frown on his face. Today was a nice day out, a day to be happy. A day to share with your loved one. A day to not be standing in a park under a tree, thinking about an upcoming fight.

But, then again, that was who he was. That...was Dominic Pericolo.
