"I'm just saying, maybe you should contact Chaz before the event and see if he could maybe lay off the stipulation. It could be for the best, you know? Maybe he'll listen."

Suki's voice of reason could be heard throughout the massive living room of the hotel room. The size was more then either of them needed, but it would suit them just fine for their stay. It was most certain of course, that this hotel was pulling out all the stops for it's HWF customers. Biggest rooms, best service, the works. They wanted to be remembered, it would seem.

They're not alone in that matter.

"Suki...if there's one thing I've never done, it's try to change a stipulation to a match. I'm going to go out there and I'm going to win, and when I do that kid is not going into any form of female clothing. I'll make myself clear on that, and I don't care what happens to me for not following through with the stipulation."

Suki smiled softly, glad that Dominic was atleast going to not humiliate the poor newcomer. Then again, she didn't really doubt him...just was concerned on how he would handle the outcome.

"What I just don't understand is why Chaz would go so far as to book yet another match that involves the loser wearing female clothing. It's as though he wants to see me in drag or something..." Dominic sighed, rubbing at his temples as Suki stiffled her laughter behind her hand, the very idea of Dominic in drag more amusing then the sight of Matthew Logan in one.

It would certainly be interesting to see him attempting to wrestle in the sundress, that's for sure.

"I just don't know what to do anymore Suki," Dominic looked up now, frowning lightly. "It feels as though I'm starting to get treated like a joke, and I've been trying so fucking hard throughout my career just to get to this very point. I've still got a ways to go before I catch back up to Champion and pull out from under the guy's shadow, how the hell am I supposed to when I'm putting people into dresses? How does this effect my damn image? Don't they realize that all of my hard work throughout my life has brought me to this point, and they're making a fucking mockery of it?"

Suki gazed at Dominic sadly, rubbing his shoulder lightly and then scooting over and hug hi for comfort. Dominic's eyes were glaring and focused towards the ground, but Suki most certainly helped him with calming down a little.

"You're not going to be turned into a joke, Dominic...even if they actually wanted you to be, you're just too stubborn to let it happen. Who's the guy who won two matches against two different people at Eve? Who's the guy that, since losing a world title match, has never lost a match since? You've changed in so many ways since I finally got to see you again last year; mentally, emotionally, physically...you've changed. And in every way you've changed it's been good for you, and your'e going to keep getting better in time...better then Sharp, better then Champ...better then everyone. I can tell, Dominic, you have more potential then anyone else in this place right now..."

Dominic smiled a little at her words. She truly believed in him, that was always something that could ease his mind and disrupt his negative thinking towards himself.

"The fact is...you just have to keep fighting, Dominic. You can't let things change you, you have to develop the changes on your own. That's why you've came this far, that's what you've done. You've brought so many good things upon yourself, so don't let them bring in bad things. Don't let them make you into a joke if you think that's what they're doing, Dominic...fight back. Give them hell, and don't let them forget that you're on a mission you've been on all your life. You're fighting for a dream you've had since you were a child...that's all you have to do, Dominic. Stop going easy on everyone, and show them what you're really made of."

Dominic blinked, as realization had finally kicked in. All of his career he was glad to keep things simple in the ring, to give the fans the best he could. And that's what he did, and that's why they enjoyed him so much...but he'd always held back. As a matter of fact, anytime he gave it everything he had, he still felt as though he could have done better afterwards. Dominic was a harsher critic on himself within his mind then any wrestling critic to write an article on him.

They were trying to make him out to be a joke? Some sort of a clown that everyone loves, and they can just feed people to to be embarrassed? No, Dominic was not a joke...he would not be forgotten--and neither would his dreams.

If he had to remind them, then so be it.

"You're right, Suki..." Dominic whispered quietly, staring intently towards the ground before lifting his head up and looking into her eyes with a slight smile. She returned the smile and Dominic sighed softly, nodding his head and bringing her close to him in an embrace.

"You're right."
