scene six, believe what you will
One thing is for certain-- we may never know what happened on that day all those years ago... but whatever happened, it sparked a change throughout the land, bringing forth the 'Age of Wanderers'.
Samurai began training beneath the sun once more, they began to travel the lands in search of enlightment, much as the Wandering Samurai did. What we, as historians, are uncertain of... is why. Was it to honor the new right-hand man of the emperor? Was it to admire his victory over Deng Tuo? Or was it in protest to Deng Tuo's ways? Of his greedy nature and thirst for power? Perhaps it was a final outcry of the samurai against the oppresive power of Deng Tuo after he'd defeated the Wandering Samurai, and then finally shunned them as well.
The legend of the Wandering Samurai is a tale told by many, passed down generation to generation... it is a true story of a samurai of the past, but many wonder just how far the truth is stretched in these tales. From his healing abilities, to the warmth he could emnate from his body... there were many a strange thing the Wandering Samurai was able to do, many an unbelievable thing.
However, the very idea that a wayward samurai would go against the teachings of the majority to bring forth a positive change in an entire empire? That, too... is unbelievable.
And so our story ends here for now... let us remember the words of the Wandering Samurai, and start looking to that rising star on the horizon.
"Perhaps it is time that we, as people... start believing the things our mind says is impossible. After all... how else can all our dreams be realized?"
