scene six, and now I'm spent

I offered Michelle a smile as the red lights switched off on the cameras, a collective sigh throughout the room sounding from several of the staff members. I shook hands with Michelle and stood to stretch my legs, nodding my head to a few of the clapping staff members as I made my way once again through the crowd of workers, some of the cameramen patting me on the back.

I made my way to the door and opened it carefully, stepping out of the room filled with the murmers and mutterings of the staff inside, still frantically working on preperations for Slamfest. An empty hall greeted me, as I needed to find my way back to the front office and then to the exit of the building, where I could finally go home and spend what little time I have left until Slamfest with Suki.

I sighed, going down the hallway and viewing the posters as I passed. For the past many years, the NLCW has held host to some of the greatest wrestling events the world has seen. This company has provided wrestling fans with brilliant shows, brilliant workers and an amazing desire to succeed from the roster and the staff alike. It's seen it's fair share of high's and low's... and it's witnessed some of the greatest battles in all of wrestling.

On Sunday, December 17th... Dillon Durst and I shall set the new standard for the new year. He and I will bleed, we will shed sweat and tears... and when the night is over, one of us will be crowned champion.

All my life, Dillon... all my life I've waited for this moment.

And I'll be DAMNED to let you take it away from me.
