When I Stop Repeating the Same Title, Only Switching Two Words

The smell of bacon in the kitchen... how long had it been since the alarm rang before? My eyes reluctantly opened, my love no longer beside me but instead preparing breakfast for us, the smell bringing a smile to my features. Everything just seemed so very perfect... like it had all came together.

I think I'm beginning to understand my dreams, too.

Ash... the final obstacle. The only loss I've yet to redeem myself for, the only person who's beaten me yet not been beaten by me.

If I surpass him... I finally stand at heaven's gates strong and proud, the NLCW title slung over my shoulder with Suki at my side.

And I'll be damned to let the Flock hover over the wings of the angels.

It's time for me to step things up and prove myself for who I am. I am this company's leader, by God, I am this company's champion. I'm the man who for God knows what reason has instilled hope into the hearts of these people who cheer for me week after week, and I REFUSE to let someone like Ash strip that away from me.

I'll be fighting like this title was on the line, and I'll make sure Ash realizes that the man he cheated to defeat before is not the same man who would fall into that kind of a trap again.

With tired muscles, I pulled myself up out of bed to begin my day...

And with still tired muscles, I will leave tommorow night to begin my new life as a redeemed NLCW champion-- a man who can truly say that for his pitfalls and mishaps... he never gave up, never threw in the towel, and shoved as hard as he possibly could.

The belt stared me back in the eye and brought yet another smile to my features, as I shook my head and let out a sigh of relief.

It's not over... not yet. This angel won't fall yet, Capital City still needs it's hero...

And I won't let anyone down again.
