"A Pericolo never gives up, a Pericolo never says die."
A true cliche... yes, that is true; however it was the words uttered by his father to him as a child, and they were words which stuck throughout his life, words to live by and never give up on. This Pericolo could never give up, this Pericolo could never say die. Even when he'd lost the love of his teenaged life, even when the world seemed to cave in around him... this Pericolo simply couldn't gave up.
He's slipped, he's fallen... but he's forever picked himself up once again.
Many years ago he'd finally began the life of a dream he'd had as a child, he'd taken the first big step in fulfilling that dream and finally reaching what, back then, he perceived would be complete happiness. Yet down the road he'd met many people, he'd made many friends, and he opened himself up to love one more time.
That one time was all he ever needed... and his angel, Suki Minamoto, was able to step into his once cold heart. She was the one who brought the fire of determination back into his eyes, and she was the one who pushed him most to succeed.
From the HWF to the NLCW... Dominic never gave up. Though his roads sometimes twisted away from what he knew was right, he still continued as steadfast as ever. He did make his mistakes, but he well made up for them, and now he is ready to embrace his dream one more time.
It's time that this child can finally rest, and make way for the life of a newborn man. Dominic Pericolo has fought through his demons, he has fought through everything that ever held him back just to obtain a happiness that was always just a single step away.
To enjoy his life... to have a family, this is what he truly desires now. Yet that childhood dream still remains important to him, and he does still intend on living it out to its finish... but the importance of things in his life has shifted, and he's finally ready to make way for the future.
No prince will tell him he cannot continue, no black rain shall fall and obscure his visions of the truth. There is nothing left to stop him, and the roads ahead are clear to walk down.
After a lifelong struggle, after so many times of success and dissapointments passed... his time has finally came.
All hail the fallen prince, all shame the faded storm, and all make way for the child of old; for it is his dream that has brought Dominic this far, and it is his dream which shall now be realized.
Through love and happiness, not fear and doubt... this is the rest of his life.
This is what he's fought so steadily for.
This... is the future, of the NLCW; and that future lay in steady hands.
