The return is set.

After years of living his life on the edge, Vin Cassidy was finally ready to settle down with the only person he loved, Kristy. All things were seemingly going according to plan until Vin was contacted by a man by the name of "The Franchise" Matt Helms.

Helms just happened to be on a recruiting spree and stepped forward to ask Vin to become a part of the team just as Vin's first home, IUWF, had closed their doors indefinitely. Because of a lack of anything better to do, Vin joined the ranks of the Heat Zone hoping to explode onto the scene and take the wrestling world by storm once again, just like his IUWF days. However, what awaited Vin wasn't super stardom and it certainly was nothing like the life he had grown used to.

Vin was thrust into a world where talent was defined by how long you could last in a ring while the other "kids" knocked boots for ten minutes and then became so exhausted they had to be carried away on a stretcher. This was not the CHZ.

The CHZ was full of men from all over the world wishing for their one chance of fame and receiving it as long as they could stand toe-to-toe with some of the best in the business. Vin soon learned that this life is one that he would welcome. The challenge thrust him into the core of the CHZ and he became so entangled in it that he soon did nothing but eat, sleep, and breathe the Heat Zone.

The obsession with the CHZ drove his marriage into the depths of hell, a place nobody expected it to come out of, especially after his love affair with another woman he had met while doing a show at the Garden. This affair put Vin in an especially sticky situation once the woman had a child that just so happened to be Vin's.

His marriage faltered and so did his health. He dropped from the spotlight of the CHZ and soon drugs became his backbone. His relationship with Kristy, surprisingly, grew stronger as the days went by. She stuck by his side through thick and thin and only then did he truly realize just how much she cared about him. He made a vow to himself that he would beat his addictions by voluntarily entering into the Betty Ford clinic and reworking his marriage in a way that worked.

He has succeeded.
