The Best, what does it actually take to become the best? People around here claim themselves as it, but from what I see they are far from being it. People talk and talk, but they don’t prove themselves. Since the beginning of my career I have come across many people like this, many people who think they are the best, but their not. I have always said that I was on my way to becoming great, and I have done that, unlike most of these people around here, I proved myself. After I left the WWED, I sat home as the absolute greatest they have ever seen, I proved myself, I defeated the man they thought was unstoppable, and now, I find myself in the federation known as XWF, and from what I have seen, there aint a damn person here that is going to stop me in my journey to the top. It wans't even twenty four hours after RHW closed that I began getting phone calls from all over the place, every damn federation out there wanted the legendary Shaun Cabalar to be part of their active roster; unfortunately there is only one one Shaun Cabalar out there and he could only be at one place at the time. So after thinking about where I should go for a long time I finally came to a conclusion and joined the Xtreme Wrestling Federation. So I gave Vince a return call when I made up my mind and told him that I was in. To spice things up here, Vince has booked me versus The Undertaker, Hardcore Championship on the line. Now that’s interesting, considering how I have just joined and signed my contract, but then again, everyone must be wondering why am I not going for the World Heavyweight Championship, nor for the Intercontinental Championship for that matter. And well, it's simple, I don't want it. I don't want to hold a major Championship, atleast not yet, so I told Jay and Chris who came along with me to go for the World Championship and Shane for the Intercontinental Championship. And anyway, I wanted to go back to my old roots as the extreme hardcore wrestler I once was. So with that said, if these people want proof of how good I am, then they will get it Sunday Night, when I end The Deadman, and make history by becoming the first ever Hardcore Champion. The time is ticking…
It’s been days, weeks actually. I haven’t been in the so called squared circle for awhile now, and it’s been bothering me. Inside I have the urge to once again fight, and prove myself to everybody, I have that dream everybody has upon signing a contract with a company, I have the dream to get to the top. Is it possible? Yes, of course it is. Can I do it? Time will tell. A little while ago, I had a contract with the company known as the Real Heavyweight Wrestling, it was a few days after the pay per view, entitled Halloween Havoc, at the time Jay O'Neil and I had our first tag team match, we were slowly becoming a force to be reckoned with. I was getting ready to cut a promo on my opponent one night, standing atop a brick building in my hometown of Manhattan, it was a different scene from what most people usually see, no backstage area, no ring, just me on top of a seven story brick building. I began speaking, sharing my thoughts on my upcoming match when someone gave me the four one one on what had happened to the RHW. So after I found that out I went home of course, I rested, I enjoyed the time off. I looked around for another decent running federation to hopefully sign with, but found nothing, no competition, but fortunately for me I did find the XWF, now with myy first match will come soon, which I must have patience for. My weeks off has led me to have a little ring rust, but nothing I can’t shake off. The XWF is my home now, it is my battle ground. New faces, new goals, new everything. But most of all, this is my time, yet again to stand on top of the world, as the king...
The scene setting represented a small parking lot, located somewhere near the mountains. Cameras panned around the scene and saw some trees in the background, snow on the ground. It was obvious that winter has just arrived. The cool wind blew by as XWF's camera crew were looking around. The reason they were in such a place is because earlier in the day, they were sent a note requesting them to meet here, by who, we don’t know. In the distance, we hear tires screeching, cameras zoom in and a car is seen approaching the lot, coming up a small narrow dirt road. As it got closer we were able to see that it was a Red Dodger Viper. It pulled into a closer view as it skidded out and parked. Dust and smoke filled the area as cameras moved in a little bit. The ignition turned off, and we see the driver’s side door open up. From the car stepped out a man wearing baggy blue Roca Wear Jeans, and a black hooded sweatshirt with an Explicit Content logo centered on the front. The man was revealed as one newest superstars, Shaun Cabalar. As he got out of the car and looked around, a smile came across his face as he closed the door from behind him. He stood there for a second as he took a deep breathe. Shaun was finally back in a federation, after a few week’s absence he now finds himself here in XWF, a federation in which he thinks has some serious potential and competition. Shaun Cabalar like many superstars has goals, and now in XWF, he plans on achieving those goals. Ever since leaving the World Wrestling Entertainment after it’s Summerslam Pay per View, Shaun Cabalar hasn’t found a federation which he can truly call “home”. Everything’s new. When he was in the WWED, he accomplished two high goals he has always wanted, he captured a World Heavyweight Championship, and he led the most dominant stable ever known to mankind: High Definition. Unfortunately that has a sad ending but now it isn't time to go over it. XWF starts a new beginning, but what is Shaun Cabalar made of now? Is he the same man that he once was? Or has it finally caught up to him. Right now, in XWF, our answers will come. Shaun finally moved, walking to the front of his car, he sat on the hood as cameras focused in. It was time, for him to speak his first words officially as a XWF Superstar...
( ..::| Shaun Cabalar| ::..)
Scared yet? You will be. Shaun Cabalar was always a man who backed up what he said, since day one, he stuck with his words. He has now arrived here, for what though, he wants to show people what he’s made of, and send all the fakes face first into the mat. He wants to be the leader of this federation and it will happen. The XWF fans don’t know what their in store for, but then again nobody does. Shaun Cabalar was a superstar that hasn’t had his chance to shine yet, but he hasn’t even had his first match. Will that be the time to show himself and everyone else that he speaks the truth? You damn right it is. XWF watch out, The Hardcore King has arrived. With the final words said from Shaun for now, we were left with nothing but dust from the road, as Shaun took off in his car, and cameras faded to black.
Is this the place? The place I have been searching for quite some time, the place with new surroundings, new people, the place I can call home? That is a question that is unanswered, and won't be answered for awhile now. The Xtreme Wrestling Federation has yet to see what I am capable of, and until they do, I'm just considered another new guy like everyone else around here, but just because I am not that well known, doesn't mean people should underestimate me, and if they do, then their in trouble. I showed myself to the world of XWF the other day, and I bet people are still trying to find out more about me. They want to know more because I am one of the "true" wrestlers in this business. I don't just do this for the money, I do it because I love it, and because I can. Being a professional wrestler was not my choice for a career growing up, but someday it just came by, and here I am today. It's been two years since I started, way back in a federation known as the New Wrestling Organization, which is now defunct. When I made my debut, people said I would never amount to anything, amazing how I proved them wrong huh? Yeah, you see, people have always doubted me, but no matter how much they said, I continued to fight, because I had a goal to achieve, and that was to get to the top, which I did. I hold a few career championships, and my career victories stands ar 70. Despite being in XWF with my Explicit Content members, I am.. well I was, an official member of a stable that is well known throughout the wrestling business, a stable known as High Definition. I have made a name for myself everywhere I have gone, and XWF just so happens to be the next chapter in my book. How it will end however, I don't know, or will it end? Not one person can answer that question, I could be here for eight months, or I could be here for eight days, time will tell, but for now I can say, I plan on staying, because there is some business I have to take care of, and some more championships I have to capture. My top goal right now in my career is to achieve a total of 100 wins, 30 more, and I got it. With federations closing their doors lately, I have had trouble finding the right company to stay with, I am hoping XWF can last, so I can get what I want done, done. It's only a matter of time, but for some reason, I feel unsatisfied, I need more. I'm hungry, hungry for another Championships. And I have my first title shot this upcoming Sunday. This upcoming Sunday I get to once again hold a Hardcore Championship, there will be no stopping me. I am getting that Hardcore Championship no matter what. You see when the staff made this match they thought about it for a while, Superstars come and go, I am staying, but if someone around here wants to step up and try and find out what I am all about, then let them, but I won't be able to help what I do to them. To me, winning is everything, losing is not an option, so I will do anything to win, no matter what it takes I will do it. My new path starts now the question is.. are you all ready for it? Only time will tell...
Cold, dark, windy, it was your usual early winter, November a little bit of snow fell from the blanket of clouds that moved over the city. Cameras opened up in the middle of the city, in the streets, only the small light of a nearby streetlight showed us where to go. It was quiet, no one around, as if we were set up in some abandoned city, but as cameras panned to the left, we noticed someone sitting on the steps of a few floored apartment building. Since the figure was sitting in the dark, it was unclear who it was. All that was visible was some old school pair of Black and White Converse Shoes that were stretched out onto the sidewalk. Above the apartment building on the telephone pole, another streetlight was seen, but it was very dim, then it sparked and just shut off, leaving us with very little light. The figure was seen standing up, it began walking down the sidewalk as cameras followed closely. As it cut a corner we saw light shine upon him, and the man was revealed as none other than Shaun Cabalar. He was wearing typically all black, from black jeans to a black jacket with white lines across it, and underneath that a black shirt with some sort of logo on it. Shaun walked with his head down staring at the ground wherever he was, until we followed him into what looked to be a small port of some kind. The port had been abandoned for years, all that was there was a few empty warehouses, with broken windows, and some even halfway burned after teenagers tried burning it down earlier in the year. Shaun walked by some of them, but as he came to the end of the port, he stopped in front of one in particular. A shutter door was seen, as Shaun looked over at it. He reached into his pocket of his jacket and pulled out a remote of some kind. He pressed a button and a small light came on as the shutter door was seen opening. Once it was fully opened, Shaun walked in, leading us into nothing but pure darkness. Somehow cameras managed to follow him through a door that was on the right side of the room. As we made our way into it, Shaun pressed the light switch, and to our amazement, the room lit up as if it was the fourth of July. Seeing as what the building looked like on the outside, many would believe the inside would be broken down, and messed up but it wasn’t, it was nicely furnished. Centered in the room was two black leather couches, a leather reclining chair, in front of them a huge oak table, all set up on a nice grayish type carpet. In front of all that on the wall a huge flat screen TV was placed. Cameras went to the left and we noticed four cars, with covers on them, and hanging above them on the wall was a huge white and black flag with an Explicit Content symbol centered on it. Shaun walked over past the furniture and all and approached a small bar, which had a phone placed on it. He looked and saw a light blinking on the answering machine aside it and pressed a button. As a voice was heard..
( ..::| ???| ::..)
As the message ended, Shaun looked at the machine with a look of curiosity. He had a feeling he knew who it was, his face showed so, but was it who he was thinking? The possibility is there. Shaun scratched his head for a second, and then just let it go as he walked over to one of the couches. He sat down and grabbed a newspaper that was sitting on the table; he just glanced at the front page and threw it back down. Something wasn’t right; Shaun wasn’t in one of his usual moods. Something was bothering him, on the inside, but he didn’t say anything about it, or what it was, he just went about his day as usual. For a few minutes Shaun sat there on the couch, staring into the unknown. Five passed by and he finally snapped out of it, he looked over and saw the cameras red light turned on, and nodded his head, but then, began speaking..
( ..::| Shaun Cabalar| ::..)
Truth, something Shaun always spoke, he was different than these other superstars, he wasn’t in the business to be famous and have everyone like him, he didn’t care what the people though, all he wanted to be was successful, and so far in his career he has been. Right now though, in this point of his career, it’s like starting all over, all from the beginning. XWF may be new, everything may seem different than previous federations he was in, but in reality it’s not. Besides the new faces, the only thing different was him, he changed, but not for the worse, for the better. He had that feeling again, that determination to be number one, and in his heart he knew that nothing was going to stop him from being just that. He always gave his opponent a good fight, and throughout his whole career, he was mostly always the one who fought the most. Six years, four career losses, one career draw, seventy career wins, it can’t get worse than that, it can only get better. This could mean that it truly is Shaun’s time, again. Already he has begun to dish out words towards the guys in the back, many will respond negatively to his words, but very little do they know about Shaun and what he has accomplished. Nobody knows much about Shaun, but soon they will all find out, because Raw is right around the corner. Before you know it, it’s going to be over, and everybody will be looking forward to the next Raw. How far can Shaun go? Will he start off as good as he did in his past federations? He managed to maintain quite an undefeated record, or will Undertaker show Shaun what he is made of, and defeat him? Many have tried, and many have failed, and Shaun knows that he has faced far harder opponents than the man known as Undertaker, that’s what makes him so confident about the match. He knows he will get the best of him and walk away Sunday Night with his first win and his first Championship from XWF. A new era is about to begin, and no one even knows it, but they will see soon enough, because Shaun Cabalar has officially arrived, and he has the desire to make it far here, the first chapter of his book will be written Sunday..
The scene opened up to a cold night that was covered by a gray blanket of clouds in the sky. A mix of rain and snow fell from the sky as cameras were just outside of an old house whose front door was halfway off the hinges. The cameraman made his way up onto the porch underneath a small roof that was above it, which was just barely being held up by two long narrow wooden boards. The cameras shifted to the right and in the distance we see quite a few old, what seemed to be broken down warehouses. No lights were on in them, and we can see a few windows shattered as well. A small street light that was in front of the house on the far sidewalk flickered on and off, as most of the area was dimly lit. Cameras turned back around and walked through the door as we found ourselves in what seemed to be the living room of the house. On the far wall a flag was tacked on it, with the Explicit Content logo grazing the center of it. A small television was placed in the corner and to the left of that was an old maroonish looking couch, which seemed to be beat. Walking further into the house, cameras went down a narrow hallway which led into the kitchen. A few cups and plates were seen in the sink, and to the left a black phone was placed on the wall. The hard wood floor in which the camera man walked on was a bit cracked, and one spot even had a hole in it which was just covered by a wooden board. The man walked to the left scoping out the area he was in until some noises were heard. He walked a little bit out of the kitchen and found a door, in which he opened. The noises became louder as in front of him was a wooden staircase leading down. The man cautiously walked down them as small creaks were heard, the sound of people getting closer and closer. Suddenly as the man reached the final step the room filled with silence, and he stopped, as he looked around. A light was turned on in front of him as he made his way towards it. As he got closer he noticed yet another door. The room in which he was in had a few benches for lifting, and some steel chairs which were folded up against the wall. The cameraman reached out to open the door, when suddenly it flung open and all that was seen was bright lights, In front of him stood none other than Chris Hunter, as he stared at the cameraman with a stern look. He walked further in as we noticed a wrestling ring in the center of the room, inside Jay O'Neil and some unknown person were having a match. Chris Hunter closed the door behind him as from the man’s left Shaun Cabalar walked into view. The man paused where he was and look over a bit more as seven steel chairs were placed in a row, sitting in one of them was Shane White, beside her on the next chair was Chronus. Cameras the quickly went back to Shaun Cabalar after getting a view of it's eviorment.
( ..::| Shaun Cabalar| ::..)
Cameras turned to the ring where Jay was beating down Scott in one of the corners. He kicked him numerous times in the stomach and then lifted him up by his hair, which was pretty long, hanging just a bit below his shoulders. Jay threw Scott into the far ropes and when he came back delivered a spear. Jay stood up and looked down at Scott who was holding his ribs in pain. Jay grabbed his hair again and pulled up up so he was in a sitting position. And yelled at him.
( ..::| Jay O'Neil| ::..)
Jay slapped Scott across the face twice as Scott was obviously beat up and tired. Jay lifted him up to his feet and pushed him against the ropes. He set his arms over the top ropes, and pulled the middle ones over them so Scott was unable to move his arms. Jay grabbed Scott by the chin with his left arm and looked into his eyes before speaking.
( ..::| Jay O'Neil| ::..)
Jay lets go of Scotts chin as he lets his head down trying to catch a breath. The sweat pours off his face as Jay seems to get disgusted. He lifts Scotts head up again and begins lighting his chest up with numerous chops. Scott’s face show he feels every strike, and his eyes begin to light up. Once Jay stops after a few, Scott looks at him and laughs then screams as he releases his arms from the ropes. He charges at Jay as Jay’s mouth opens.
( ..::| Jay O'Neil| ::..)
Scott takes Jay down with a hard right clothesline, but Jay immediately gets up, when he does Scott attempts another but Jay ducks, and when Scott turns around, Jay lifts him up on his shoulders and nails a Sike Out, instantly knocking Scott out. Jay stands up and looks down at him as his eyes are shut and his head leans towards his side. Jay laughs and then helps him up, as they roll out of the ring. Cameras switched back to Shaun who was now sitting in a chair close to Shane White and Chronus who were talking about something. Shaun leaned back in his chair with his arms spread out. Shaun smiled as Jay and Scott were over near the ring discussing the match they just had. He then looked back towards the camera and once again began speaking.
( ..::| Shaun Cabalar| ::..)
Shaun then looks back in the ring where now, Jay O'Neil and Chronus are in the ring practicing. Shaun then goes close to the ring and just silently watches them wrestle as the camera slowly fades to black...
