Appearance: Normally, you can find Angel of Death dressed in black jeans, black shirts and black boots. His long black hair is always hanging down over his face, hiding the unpainted face behind it.

Ring Gear: In the ring, Angel of Death wears a black ribbed t-shirt, black cargo pants, and black boots, with black kneepads and elbowpads. Three quarters of his face is painted with a skull pattern, leaving simply his mouth and chin unpainted, yet framed in a black close-cut goatee.

Background: Angel of Death was born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, the son of a poor, battered woman who staggered into the Emergency Room of Kingston General Hospital with no identification. The woman died shortly after childbirth. Luckily, before she died, she was able to scrawl out a name for her child. At least, a first name for him. Officially named Dante, he was adopted right away by Jacob and Susanna MacLane who named him Patrick. The three of them lived as a happy family for many years. Shortly after his eighteenth birthday, Patrick was driving his parents to the train station so they could visit friends out west when they were broad-sided by a delivery truck. The car careened off the road, and into a telephone pole, killing both Jacob and Susanna instantly. This led Patrick on a path of self-destructive activites, including a fight directly in front of a boxing/wrestling school. It was this fight that caught the eye of the head trainer, and a career in professional wrestling was born.

Fresh out of wrestling school, Patrick, now professionally called Angel of Death, caught the eye of new promoter Adam Douglas, who was opening up a promotion in Kingston called Limestone City Wrestling. Immediately after his debut match with LCW, Angel of Death was approached by sister promotions EUWC and CFPW to work for them. It was in the LCW that he was paired with his first and only manager, Black Widow. Over the next couple of years, his work in the three promotions began to get more and more accolades.

Shortly after the closure of CFPW and the temporary hiatus of the EUWC, LCW became a part of the National e-Wrestling Alliance. There they stayed for several months, and enjoyed a somewhat successful run. The LCW's biggest success, however, came from Angel of Death, who captured the NeWA World Cruiserweight Championship shortly before the LCW was released from their NeWA contract following some political movements in the head office.

Now independant, the LCW's star rose quickly, and with it, the fame of Angel of Death. He captured the LCW World Heavyweight Championship early in 1999, holding it for four months before dropping it to his most hated rival The Wraith. It was during this golden period of the LCW that things began to change backstage for Angel of Death. His long-time manager, Black Widow, with whom he had a strictly working relationship due to personality conflicts, began to show more interest in him personally, and he in her. This led to a fast and furious courtship, and the two of them married in January 2000. It was through this relationship that Angel of Death discovered something shocking. His most hated enemy was in fact now his brother in law. It was also at this time that he found some old documents in a drawer, including his birth certificate. Knowing only his true first name, he now has a new perspective on life, with a happy marriage, loving family (his in-laws) and successful career.

Enterance: The house lights fade quickly to black as the opening beats of "Angel of Death" by Slayer test the arena speakers. A white spotlight shines on the entranceway as Angel of Death and Black Widow step from the back. They pause at the top of the ramp, allowing the crowd to take in the image of the pair of them silhouetted in the spotlight, Black Widow carrying Angel of Death's weapon of choice, a barbed wire wrapped sledgehammer. They begin their deliberate descent towards the ring, ignoring the jeers and shouts from the fans. They slide into the ring under the bottom rope, and pose in the center of the ring, again silhouetted by a white spotlight, before retiring to their designated corner.

Finishing Move Description:
Angel Lust: Angel of Death sets his opponent on the top rope. He climbs the ropes to the top, and sets up his opponent for a piledriver. He leaps off the turnbuckle, pulling his opponent off the ropes into a sitdown piledriver.

Going Home: An inverted implant DDT

Dark Trick: Angel of Death catches his opponent in a bearhug, then flips him overhead in a German-style belly to belly suplex. Upon landing, he bridges his back, holding his opponent's neck back, crushing their face into the mat, and holds for the submission.

Recent Quote: ... in your comments about our match, you made some promises. How did that go? Oh, right. "I will break my neck, and both arms, before I let AOD out of that match alive." You know, it's funny, because breaking your neck and both of your arms would be a distinct pleasure for me. Hell, if it makes you feel any better, I'll break both of your legs for you too.

Description of Manager: Wrestler's Appearance: Outside of the ring, she dresses casually, usually in jeans, a t-shirt and her hair in a ponytail. As a manager, she wears a long black dress with grey lace in a web pattern, and long black satin gloves, with her face painted in a black and grey web pattern.

Ring Gear: To wrestle, she wears a pair of blue cutoff jean shorts, a white t-shirt, and black elbowpads and kneepads, with black thigh-high boots. Her hair is tied back in a pair of braided pigtails, and her face is painted in her familiar black and grey web pattern.
