Wrestler Name:
Dragon Assassin

Real Name: Dragon Assassin

Height: 5'10" Weight:219lbs

Hometown: Asahikawa, Japan

Enterance Music: "Big In Japan" - Alphaville

Alignment: Heel

Background Information:
APPEARANCE: The Dragon Assassin is a masked wrestler; he wears a brilliantly coloured lucha-style mask that is not part of his original costume (it belonged to El Martyr, a luchador whose career Dragon Assassin ended). He wears a full, form-fitting black body suit with a weblike pattern along the neck. His gloss-black gloves are wrist-length and appear braced along their length, making his forearms seem larger. A pair of black denim shorts are worn over his body suit; they come to knee length and bear deep pockets. He wears tall black leather boots and black knee pads, as well as a black belt and and black elbow pads. The elbow and knee pads each bear the image of a small white dragon.

PERSONALITY: Dragon Assassin takes himself rather seriously. He is a firm believer in honor and dignity in the ring - often to the point of taking offense at jokes. DA loves being in the spotlight and will do whatever he can to mock the fans, often taking huge risks with the intention of making himself look good. He is quite evil, displaying a mean streak a mile wide and a tendency to rant and rave a lot. Because he grew up watching talented Japanese workers, DA doesn't think that highly of American wrestlers; he respects them for their effort, but he believes that the Japanese are more talented.

HISTORY:
Little is actually known about Dragon Assassin; he has removed his real name from the GXW logs for security purposes. However, it IS known that Dragon Assassin was inspired to get into wrestling by watching ring warriors such as the Great Muta. He is known to have trained under a retired wrestler known as the Crystal Sensei alongside well-known Japanese indy personality Kaitaro Satahashi, whom Dragon Assassin parted ways with soon after. Dragon made a name for himself on the Japanese indy circuit, wowing crowds with his spectacular high-flying antics and chain wrestling skills; he fought to please them. However, when he came to America to wrestle for GXW he realized that the fans didn't care about him. He became bitter and angry, going from crowd-pleasing nice guy to crowd-insulting heel almost overnight. To put an exclamation point on it, he ended the career of GXW talent El Martyr on an episode of Onslaught. He now wears El Martyr's mask as part of his ring attire, thus disgracing the crippled luchador's heritage and offering a constant reminder of what he is capable of.

Enterance: As "Big In Japan" by Alphaville cues up, the GXW-Tron lights up with anime sequences of Dragon Assassin with a full moon at his back. Dragon Assassin rises up from the ramp on an elevator-like platform, his hands folded before him as sizzling red and white pyro rises in a ring around him. 26 seconds after the music cues up, the pyro cuts out and an explosion of red and white smoke goes off behind Dragon Assassin as he stalks down to the ring. He enters the ring and plays to the crowd atop the turnbuckles in order to build up heat for the match.

Set up move: Dragon Kick -OR- Dragon Revenger '02

Set up Description: DRAGON KICK:
THIS MOVE IS USED **ONLY** TO SET UP THE DRAGON'S WINGS. It's a stiff martial arts kick to the jaw. Boom.

DRAGON REVENGER '02:
THIS MOVE IS USED **ONLY** TO SET UP THE JAPANESE KNEE DROP OF DEATH. Dragon Assassin pulls his opponent up onto his shoulder with a gutwrench, then drops him with a reverse Emerald Fusion (the opponent faces outwards as they would for a traditional piledriver). In short, a gutwrench reverse Emerald Fusion. This move is what REALLY does the damage when Dragon pins someone with the Revenger/Knee Drop Of Death combo.

Finishing Move:
Dragon's Wings -OR- The Japanese Knee Drop of Death

Finishing Move Description:
DRAGON'S WINGS: A modified Shooting Star Press. Dragon flies off the buckle as he would for the Shooting Star Press, but keeps flipping to land in the position of a senton splash. He winds up flipping a total of 450 degrees. This finisher is typically employed if the opponent is too heavy to hit with the Dragon Revenger.

THE JAPANESE KNEE DROP OF DEATH: This is a taunt finisher, much like the People's Elbow used to be. Dragon Assassin drags the fallen opponent into the center of the ring, then folds his hands and does a Japanese bow. He then runs to one side of the ring and bounces off the ropes, executing a handspring over the opponent. He hits the opposite ropes while handspringing and bounces back, flipping his knee down into the opponent's sternum as he comes back. He then goes for a cover.
