Background Information:
APPEARANCE:
At six feet and three inches in height, Sands bears a passing resemblance to Sean O'Haire, though he's more slender and his face is narrower. His nose and chin are strong and quite sharp, while his green eyes are slightly angular. He has dark brown-black hair that tends to be drawn back into a braided ponytail. His skin is an even bronze, accenting his already pronounced musculature. Christian's neck is quite thick, and his shoulders are pretty broad. A small death's-head is tattooed over his heart.
Sands' ring attire consists of a pair of glossy black biker-style shorts with red stripes down the outside of either thigh; the shorts have a sort of leathery texture. He wears tall black boots that tuck into black kneepads, and his hands are protected by fingerless black gloves. Black elbow pads protect his elbows.

PERSONALITY:
In many ways, Christian Sands is an enigma. Silent and withdrawn, he keeps to himself most of the time and speaks only when he needs to. When he does speak, however, Sands displays a surprisingly cultured exterior that mingles with a cold, calculating air. Quiet rage seems to seethe within him, adding malice to his words. Intelligent in a vicious sort of way, Sands seems almost a dark mastermind of some sort, an unholy amalgam of the occult and the cutting edge.

BACKGROUND:
The story of Christian Sands is wrought with pain. As a youth, he wrestled amateur-style for a team in Barrie, Ontario. He wasn't all that good, but he was just a kid, after all. He grew up with his brother Devon, whom he loved to distraction. Sadly, this was not to last; a drunken semi-truck driver smashed his vehicle into the car of Christian's family while they were driving to pick him up from a tournament. Both of his parents were killed in the impact, and Devon's body was never recovered.
The deaths of his loved ones sank Christian into a black depression. He was juggled from foster home to foster home and placed on antidepressants. Finally, at the age of eighteen he abandoned his then-current foster parents and drove off in his blue Pinto to find some way to vent his frustrations. Eventually he decided to become a professional wrestler, hoping to follow his childhood dream and forget all about the pain of the past. He trained in Calgary for a few years before hitting the Canadian indy scene with a bang, making a name for himself and rising to become one of the hottest independent superstars north of the US border.
In an attempt to capitalize upon Christian's abilities, Global X-Treme Wrestling signed him to a one-year deal. Christian came in as a dark, grim individual given to mindless acts of wanton destruction; he rapidly carved his way through the ranks of the lower midcard and established himself as a superstar in matches against Boogie Smallz, Randy Cobb, and John Miller. Meanwhile, he signed a contract with Superior Championship Wrestling and came in with his GXW brethren as a member of the GOD stable. He teamed with Rob Sampson a couple of times before defeating Scott Johnson for the International Title and going on to defeat SCW mainstays such as Kendall Codine, Dallas Winston, and Sean "Triple X" Stevens, and later feuding briefly with mega-star Dan Ryan. Back in GXW, he was involved in a bitter war with his returned brother Devon, which involved several attempted murders and ended in an unsanctioned match, which Christian barely escaped with his life.
Battered and wearied from the rigors of his travel schedule and the ferocity of his own matches, Christian opted not to renew his contract with GXW and returned home to Barrie, where he recuperated an injured shoulder for six months. At the end of that time he put his resume back out into the pro market, signing contracts with MCW and NFW before approaching GXW owners Chad Dupree and Erik Zieba. After some extensive deliberations, the three came to an agreement to renew Sands' contract. Upon his return he immediately found himself in a triangle match against John Miller and Boogie Smallz, which he lost; however, he bounced back with a victory over Rob Sampson and went on to challenge world-caliber technician Jean Rabesque to a match, which will be decided at Battleground Britain.

Titles Held:
- SCW International Champion x1 (retired the title)

Enterance: "Dark Machine" by Paul Oakenfold cues up, and the lights in the arena go out; the GlobalTron lights up with an image of Christian Sands gazing down from a distance, his face illuminated as if by car headlights through a window. After the first fourteen seconds of the song, a red strobelight kicks in. Smoke machines begin blowing a drifting mist horizontally across the ramp as Christian Sands emerges, striding down the ramp with the mist curling about his feet. He vaults into the ring over the top rope and stretches his arms briefly before boosting himself up to a turnbuckle, seating himself there facing inward to await his opponent.

Normal Moves: Style: Hard-hitting power/technical seguing into submissions. Sands can wrestle extremely long matches and is overwhelmingly technically sound for his size. Recent Quote: I'll tell you what, Chester. You come in and ride that little phantom train of yours - by the way, did you know that the Phantom Train is a boss in Final Fantasy 6? Either way, you ride your little choo-choo into Aggression, and I'll stand at the switch and send you rolling happily along the track leading straight to the bottom. Maybe while you're down there you can work on your promo skills - you know, picking a first- or third-person mode of address and sticking to it.

Now run along and go tape some more of your workouts. Meanwhile, those of us who don't need to resort to such nonsense to prove our motivation will sit back and laugh at you.
