This is where the backs can be fed for this arc! Let us know what you thought!

Keep in mind, there are no rules to feedback. You do not have to do a segment by segment run down, but EFFORT in this department is great for the community and product, AND still is a big part of discerning looks most rocket-able. You need a strong back for the rocket to be strapped too and that back is ... FEEDBACK! Boom. See what I did there?

DEFtv 101

OLD FRIENDS
Wrote it. Fences are mended, but all manly like.

RUNDOWN
Wrote it with Ford.

DEMAND TO FLEX
Solid segment. Harmon is has to take the bald walk of shame before he can demand Elise?s head ? as the Faithful make fun of his. PCP coming out the Flex is different but it worked well between the reading of the note and the whispering in the ear. Some funny lines in here as well, which is pretty normal when it comes to anything Billy and Ford. This set up the next match as well let us know, Harmon isn?t done with Elise, not my a long shot.

Jack Harmen vs. Flex Krueger
The first joined in progress match I?ve seen in DEF! Certainly not something we want to overuse but with the match being a foregone conclusion at the end of the last segment, it?s perfect. Quick TV match, Alliterate Alliteration punchlines that you wouldn?t get if you were the set up, loved it. Harmen pulls the classic heel walk out and furthers the story between Jack and Elise. Good stuff.

Angel Trinidad vs. Reinhardt Hoffman
Angel striking out as a singles and makes quite the statement taking out Hoffman, one of BRAZEN?s best and at least in recent months the most seen on DEFtv. Hell, he was a part of WAR GAMES. Solid match, perfect for TV length and clearly this is a building block to something larger.

TOO THE MAXX
Sawyers here and in everything I?ve ever read, he is extremely annoying. So of course he?d be the perfect mouthpiece for this new heel team. Given the gimmick you can almost assume they can?t talk. This was a solid introduction to the team and I can?t wait to see more. Atomicdropcast.com

Scott Douglas v. Scott Stevens /UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Wrote it, with Stevens and Will.

BREATH OF THE WILD
Great Fuse Bro?s segment Perfect way to pull their story/direction out of the tailspin that was the closing. Roland always writes these too extremely entertaining and I?m glad to see them with the straps in what I?m foreseeing as a strong tag div. I kept waiting for the to drop a ?open world? reference directly but maybe that was better left not directly on the nose. What I assume is a nod to what happens when Mario Brothers starts over, was great - and the Princess deal was a good laugh. Good stuff.

Brutal Force Attack Vs Toybox
Second tag team debut of the night, in action this time rather than an interview. BAF hasn?t had the nicest ride since getting up to the main show, and coming out of the FUSE segment - the already in the ring (and you know what that means ? atomicdropcast.com) was a nice touch right off the bat. So far this show has a great feel continuity wise, feels like a real show. Solid debut from Toybox. I like that this wasn?t a complete squash and the debuting team still goes over - and give who they went against - no one was thinking any different. But this is the pro rassle graps and so this was a solid way to debut Toybox. Again, this Tag Div is looking strong!

Good Luck? Champ
Great segment, Stevens looks to be on his way out but can?t help but to be a prick while he does it. He sheds some UTA dead weight on his way out in the name of prickishness ? and the every so loveable Burns has bigger and better things on his mind. If this becomes something, perfect initial (re)contact and if it isn?t - it?s still little piece of world building that hypes the main event AND ties in to the continuity of Douglas/Stevens as well as the Rundown. Great work.

NOTHING TO PROVE
Wrote it.

FIST: Cayle v. Oscar
Fantastic match. Given circumstances, it had almost no build but I think the surprise of the match met with the ?surprise? of the finish worked perfectly. Hell of a match and especially for a TV main event at the start of an arc, I think they made this one feel big. Needless to say, no one wants to see Murr go but Cayle goes out looking like every bit of the champion he was and passes the torch to Burns (see what I did there.) This is the perfect jump start to a new era of DEF as it?s been called. After such a stellar title run as Cayle had Bruns has big shoes to fill but I have all the confidence in the world when it comes to Seth and his writing. And hopefully Murr will be back sooner than later. Great job, guys.

OVERALL
Successful show. I think commercials were a plus in aiding continuity and flow, all Tom's idea by the way! Matches were good TV length and no match felt like it was completely for nothing. My goal was ?100 percent ?? ? getting back to stability and business as usual and this was the step in that direction. Everyone came in hot and didn?t miss a step. We had very few late things and notice on most - show still went up a night earlier than normal. So, end all be all ? there is that. We had very few formatting issues, probably the biggest one is the centering of themes, which I know centering is long been an issue with the Backstage script, so no big beef there, but everyone try to be mindful of that. That being said, hopefully this continues and everyone does the beefs (it is important)! But yeah, great job, everyone. Let?s keep it rolling!

COLD OPEN Seg:
Title (if known): Old Friends
Who is Involved: Scott Douglas, Kerry Kuroyama
*bare with me here, tbh last arc I was pretty much tuned out. Last I remember Kerry was Reaper Green, with a feud with Scott. So I know pretty much their history. Gather this segment easily meant to bring back their friendship. It will be interesting to see where Kerry goes from here.

Seg:
Title (if known): RUNDOWN
Who is Involved: Angus, Keebs
Writer: Brian/Tom
*This helped catch me up a bit.

SEG:
Title (if known): TBD
Who is Involved: Jack Harmen, Elise Ares, Flex Kruger
Writer: Billy/Tom
*Adding Flex to PCP, on top of which denying Jack his match with Elise unless he beats the newest member of the PCP. Good way to display Flex in a different light this time.

MATCH:
Who vs Who: Jack Harmen vs. Flex Krueger
Writer: Tom
*Jack refusing to play Ares game. Giving Flexy a win.

MATCH:
Who vs Who: Angel Trinidad vs. Reinhardt Hoffman
Writer: Seth
*So Seth if u can catch me up here, have Team Hoss split? In any case good hard hitting match by the two. Gonna be interesting to see where Angel goes from here.

SEG:
Title (if known): To The Maxx
Who is Involved: To The Maxx W/ Jamie Sawyers
Writer: Mikey
*Jamie leaves the junkyard dog Hightower, and pledging to introduce a new tag team. Look forward to seeing them in action. Kind of got a bit of The Revival in Jamie's introduction look forward to seeing them in action...in 2 weeks.

MATCH:
Who vs Who: Scott Douglas v. Scott Stevens
Writers: Brian, Stevens, Will
*Stevens was rather brutal here, working over the SoHeR’s eyes, something you don’t see a focus as of much these days. It was a nice change, but man Stevens just continues to be one mean Texan. Douglas took a hell of a beating here.

SEG:
Title (if known): Unfinished Business
Who is Involved: THE Jay Harvey, Scott Douglas, Scott Stevens
Writer: Will, Brian
*Ugh the Reaper(s), the only thing I could think of atm before the unveil was their departure mid arc. Thankful it was a rouse by good old THE Jay Harvey. And boy did Jay finish off Douglas after Stevens brutally beat him down. I can see this becoming a blood bath in the future. “Sidenote” just a little tweak i think ya should of added but probably was not involved in your plans. I would of teases it being Kerry beating him down as Reaper Green. Considering the earlier segment with Kerry and Scott, until Jay reveal but ah that's my train of thought. It worked how ya guys did it too.

SEG:
Title (if known): Breath of the Wild
Who is Involved: Fuse Bros
Writer: Roland
*The Tag Champs trying to figure out what to do after becoming champs. Seems a bit odd, but I can see from their gimmick perspective how they would be stumped. Just seemed rather odd on first read.

SEG:
Title (if known): Good Luck?.Champ.
Who is Involved: Scott Stevens and Oscar Burns
Writer: Seth/Stevens
*Stevens appears to be trying to get into Oscar’s head, maybe some mind games to take Oscar off his game when he faces Cayle later tonight. Stevens is just gold as a heel.

SEG:
Title (if known): Nothing to Prove
Who is Involved: Scott Douglas, Kerry K, Terry Anderson
Writer: Brian
*I swear it has not gotten old Douglas sure spends a lot of time in the medical office. Kerry seems a bit upset with Scott not caring about Harvey’s beatdown of him, or the words of encouragement for him for 102 when he faces Harvey. Could there still be a bit of unresolved business between the two…?

MATCH: CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Who vs Who: Cayle Murray vs. Oscar Burns
Writer: Seth
*Hell of a match, all around technical spectacle. Did make me feel pretty good that CL elevate Oscar this high. Had a ear to ear smile when he won it. Gratz bud. Great main event

OLD FRIENDS
Good to see fences mended.

RUNDOWN
Loved the rundown. Especially how they stressed the removal of the UTA stuff reminded me of WWE removing all WCW and ECW references when the Invasion lost and they were still using the titles.

DEMAND TO FLEX
Making Harmen wait to get the match he wants is classic booking 101. Good stuff.

Jack Harmen vs. Flex Krueger
Liked the ending. I wonder if we will see more of this from Harmen until he gets what he wants.

Angel Trinidad vs. Reinhardt Hoffman
Sucks to see Team HOSS split for now but excellent showing by Angel in his singles endeavors.

TOO THE MAXX
Jamie Sawyers needs a new meal ticket with Hightower gone so I'm looking forward to seeing where this new tag team goes and does.

Scott Douglas v. Scott Stevens
Hope you all enjoyed Scott Stevens last match in DEFIANCE.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Got to hate those Reapers. Don't know who could be under those masks. Lol. Good to see THE Gay Harvey back. ;-)

BREATH OF THE WILD
Loving the Fuse Bros. Enough said.

Brutal Force Attack Vs Toybox
Solid debut from the Toybox and great to see Jestal back. He was a very underrated character in UTA and I enjoyed working with him against him during our brief feud. Character has untapped potential.

Good Luck? Champ
Wrote it and then rewrote it thanks to some major critiquing from Brian and I greatly appreciate it. Hope you all enjoyed it.

FIST: Cayle v. Oscar
Hell of a match. Cayle has been a great champion taking on all comers and making not only the championship top notch but elevating a hot, young contender into a credible champion. Oscar made himself relevant by defeating Crimson Lord and establishing himself as the man by becoming the undisputed champion. Sucks to see Murray go IRL but he left the FIST in good hands.

Scotty… (nods) Kerry and Scott are good to go, cleared the air. Good. This feels simple…. Simple is good.

Run down.
AWESOME! Good Stuff, Angus feels so fucking excited, good bit here for whomever wrote, this was a fun read and brought a smile to my Mikey face.

Demand To Flex
HAHAHAHAH PCP is giving Jack Harmen is giving the silent treatment, Flex Kruger is their new spokeflex. Nice set up for the match, love the silent gimmick. This was a lot of fun!

Flex vs Harmen
Wow, this was a surprise, Flex wins when Harmen walks away, even though he has Kruger exactly where he wants him at one point. Interesting…. Harmen has other plans. Intrigued.

Angel Trinidad vs Reinhardt Hoffman.
Fun little match, felt it was missing some sort of storyline but not every match has to be filled dwith drama. Angel gets the big win over a returning Hoffman. I can dig it. Well written and smooth match for sure.

Too The Maxx
Wrote this. Trying something new, Haven’t quite found the voice yet.

Scott vs Scott
Scott was really good in this match, but you gotta take your hat off to Scott on the other hand...wow! ;-)

Stevens wins the match when Codename Reaper appeared. I thought Justin was gone? Interesting! Stevens “the only non contracted employee” I like that!

Unfinished Business:
OHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh OK I bit on this. Good shit. Very DDP/La Parka! Harvey is under the codename reaper deal and is here to get what he wants the SOHER.

Breath of the Wild:
Hahaha fun little fuse bros segment the possibilities are endless! Good one. These characters are fun.

BAF vs The Toybox
Need the

1…
2…
3… gimmick. Otherwise this was really fun. Im familiar with the characters from Utah, Scott does a great job using their size against them. Makes them more entertaining to read when you know they are a distinct disadvantage from the word jump. LOL Good stuff buddy, llooking forward to see how they transition all the way into DEF.

Oh also, call a move by a “technical name” not another persons finisher. Example: Ghetto blaster. I didn’t know what that was, had to look it up. But if you would have said something like. Flying Enziguri or something I would have got it.

Good Luck Champ….

Scott Stevens and Oscar Burns have a little heated moment, Loved what Stevens did in the end here. Good schtuff. MAYBE….JUST MAYBE…. STEVENS isn’t leaving :p! Good stuff guys this played well.

Nothing To Prove:
AWEESOME Face Segment. GREAT reaction from Scott Douglas, YEA! Thats how you treat an annoying pissant! Loved this bit.

Cayle Murray vs Oscar Burns

Holy fuck what a match. Talk about Suplex City. This was a lot of fun, always weird reading face vs face, but this one works, ESPECIALLY with the “end of WrestleUTA angle” and the merging of the titles. Good writing here from Murrr and Seth, Seth is the new Fist, Congrats to murrr on his run. Hats off brotherman.

Gunter vs Angel
Thought this was a nice match here.
Gunther proved to be a challenge for Angel
Nice flow throughout the match
The post match interview answered my question about Team Hoss, which was great. Angel having a goal 8n mind and fighting for his son. Good CD work here.

Steven's interview
Steven's came off like his usual self a really prick
Loved it, playing a free agent role is a interesting route to take Steven's whole maintaining his character during the invasion
Good work bud

Toybox interview
Enjoy

Like to see the staff used, like Iris. She seems like she’d be a great pediatrician, but a no-nonsense adult doctor. Glad to see Douglas and Kerry get back together. Might not have followed enough to get 96, but a solid restructuring of alliances as a cold open is good future fodder.

Rundown
This was primarily Brian. Like, 99% Brian. He’s got the voices down and the celebratory nature of DEFIANCE staying alive without McFuckass. Couldn’t have done it better with cliff notes and 100 monkeys typing on typewriters for 10 years.

Demand to Flex
Written by Billy and I. It’s a treat to write with Billy. Flex is a great mouthpiece. Paul Heyman levels.

Kruger vs. Harmen
I like having my guy “win” but have the decision overturn. Keeps heat on both dudes.

Angel Trinidad vs. Reinhardt Hoffman
Like the concept of these big men facing each other. Wanna see Reinhardt get some shine back, but like what this match does to build up Angel. Neither man really loses a step. Seth always writes an engaging graps, whether it’s tech or powerhouse or whatever. Seems Angel is flyin’ high this match though. Dropkicks and cross bodies. I expected more power graps. Where’s the DOC title again? Oh right, burnt at the stake by JFK.

Too the Maxx
Reminds me of the Vaudevillains meets the Revival. I hope it has a better run on DEF than either team has had on the main roster. Cowabunga.

Scott Douglas vs. Scott Stevens/Unfinished Business
Nice back and forth with a fubar ending. Love the concept of Harvey underneath the guise of the Reapers. Nice tie back without convoluting the story. Solid match that helps Stevens get a bit more over while keeping Douglas’ shine.

The Fuse Bros - Breath of the Wild
I hope they find their princess. It’d be cool to have a female manage them and try to, I dunno, challenge their worldview that this is all a video game? Be interesting no doubt. Straight men help preposterous concepts (not that I don’t enjoy Fuse, I love preposterous, why Klein wears a box). Of course, if Roland gets Renner to rehash the Codemaster I’m cool with them never saving the princess. Get on it :)

Brutal Attack Force vs. the Toybox
I would also echo the statement that I had to look up what a Ghetto Blaster was, rather than just calling it an enzeguri. Granted, certain moves can be used based on their wrestling superstar (Rock Bottom is a Urangi, Stunner is a ? cradle sitdown neckbreaker), but the Ghetto Blaster didn’t translate through history of wrestling for me. (IN ADDITION - DEFIANCE doesn’t actually have the WWF or WCW as history in their timelines -- so there is no Rock, no Austin, no Flair, no nWo, no… what was it, bad news brown?) I like how their opponents under-estimated them and Toybox took the victory. Solid writing. Could lead to a future rematch too, which is always a good thing.

Good Luck Champ
I kinda wish Oscar said “gotta stop talking to yourself” and had someone else in frame who just stood silently, like… a Lance Warner… or even Klein, just waving happily to him. Either way, solid promo, even as it looks like Stevens is on his way out.

Here is where I notice, I would have loved to have Cayle have a last promo before his match with Oscar, but we all know why that didn’t work out.

Nothing To Prove
I kinda wanna know how Iris is when she gets drunk. JUST SAYIN’ - UNCUT baby. Nice book end to the Cold Open, although I wouldn’t have minded a bit more of a personal / storyline payoff. Does the job of ensuring Kerry and Douglas’ issues are put to bed. Still, I imagine Iris can drink ‘em both under the table. Guess we ain’t gonna know.

Cayle vs. Oscar
Seth always writes fantastic pro graps, and he loves the technical nature of Burns. Fits like a glove with Cayle and his style. Burns gets a run of submissions and pins that winds up with Cayle bouncing on his head and we have a new championship. And Cayle does the right thing, shaking Oscar’s hand as he raises the FIST high. The titles coming together here was the drama, as it’s hard to have personal animosity when you have face versus face. But the match had heat and ups and downs, and that’s not only a testament to Seth’s writing, but both Cayle and Oscar as characters, and how they’ve progressed into their roles.

OOC: Murr is a mensch, and go check out whatculture.

Overall: I think commercial breaks are a good thing, and I’m glad to see the roster put forth a solid effort on our first post DEFtv 100 show. Thanks everyone.

DEFtv 101

old friends
- not much was said in this but it was extremely effective with all these guys have been through. friends, then kerry going to the reaper co.

intro - defiance seems to be on cloud nine with winning (ultimately) at the last ppv. nice to see burns is getting a title shot, very deserving since burns has been super hot as of late.

demand to flex - a solid fucking segment here. harmen is all business and aries and the pcp make light of just well everything. sold the shit out of the hair loss on every level, the fans, the announce team, and pcp. good shit. we get out first match of the night out of this, a good impromptu martch.

harmen vs flex - love the tactics from harmen. not playing the game like ares wants him to. harmen has been a great character and he continues to get better.

trinidad vs hoffman - good match with trinidad getting the victory. looking to see what angel can do from here.

too the maxx - kowabunga dude. nice preview segment for sawyers new tag team. the defiance tag team division was one of the highlights of the last 2 arcs, these guys are going to factor in in a big way imo. sawyers is a great mouthpiece and i can't wait to hear what he has to say after their first match.

stoovinsvadouglas - stoovins had the advantage for most of this match, which is to be expected. douglas is a fighter and always seems to find a way back into things. The lights go out and things get more interesting. B is a workhorse, everyone knows. good shit from him.

unfinished business - super easy to write, props to b for getting things together and making it a breeze.

breath of the wild - those fuse bros. weird dudes but this segment sets up the fact that their quest isn't over, it's really just beginning. the tag teams are a force and the fuse bros need to stay on top of the heap.

BAF vs the toy box - more tag teams?! the tag teams are running the show! nice to see jestal back in a wrestling ring. even those they look like clowns, smell like clowns, act like clowns... they r winners.

good luck... champ... - fucking nice seeing these two face to face. i hope something comes out of this and quick. good job.

nothing to prove - kerry wants to challenge harvey. douglas does a good job of shrugging harvey off. nicely done.

burns vs murray - i found myself taken out of this for a minute because i 100% forgot about murr. it's been since a no brainer these past few months that cayle was the fist and thats just how it was. when i read burns won i went "holy shit" but then i realized why. burns is a deserving guy to be the new face of the company. a well written match and an awesome capper on cayle's time as champion.

good job boys. i like where things appear to be headed.

DEFtv 102 feedback

unleashed - so yeah. crimson lord is crazy. i've never been into this split personality thing from crimson if i can be honest. things look real bad until gage blackwood comes in to make the save for iris. the two, of course, get into things before being separated. this sets up the match that takes place in a bit.

rundown - angus and keebs basically just comment about the previous segment and go into their match.

blackwood vs crimson - loved this, solid story told. crimson lord bashes blackwood but gage shows what a fighter he is. i've been a fan of gage blackwood since i arrived and he's gaining more and more momentum with each arc. mushi makes the save at the end before blackwood could be any more injured.

p-a-r-t-y? because i gotta! - burnsie gets his moment with the fans and goes on in a classic face champion way about defending the title and then, of course, he gets challenged right away! elise ares has been hot lately and she puts out the challenge, not before some heated rock-paper-scissor combat. solid segment with both serious and comedic tones to it.

to the max vs the dibbins- to the max coming out of their debut with a victory. sawyers helps out and to the max are off running. good short match. i thought it was extra funny that mikey beat himself in this one.

mystery box found - the toy box are making their claim for the tag titles in a very joker-esque segment. i love how dandellion doesn't talk and jestal just has convos with himself.

harvey vs kuroyama - i wrote things!

i told you... - i wrote another thing!

the man in the mirror - goddamn these defiance tag teams are everywhere and that's not at all a bad thing. im psyched to see the interactions between these two teams, especially knowing the guys involved. plant those seeds, boys.

the d vs harmen - jack harmen is doing everything right. he gives zero fucks right now and i like it.

blokes and
blokettes - everyone wants a piece of oscar burns, obvs. it never gets any easier when ur the big dawg. nice segment going over the upcoming match and angel wanting a shot at the next DEFtv.

playing the game - kuroyama is injured, old man anderson isn't pleased with what's going on. solid backstage segment, selling the match before and the on going feud.

burns vs ares - a real good match with a lot of back and forth. loved the pinning predicament spots that alternated between the two. harmen interferes and burns is able to retain. loved everything about this.

another great shows bois. tag team division is still hot. the title pictures are hot. crimson lord is fucking crazy.

EDIT: i didn't see the end of the show where stoovins attacked burns. my bad for that. the mask thing was already done with harvey. seems weird to do it the next show. i just hope these two title storylines don't seem like mirror images of each other.

UNLEASHED
And Crimson Lord is up to some shit again, this time going off the rails and Gage Blackwood looks to be his next victim. I don't mind another segment being the cold open aside from the Rundown and this looks to be an interesting direction for Crimson Lord.

RUNDOWN
The Rundown goodness continues. I kind of laughed at FIST and Turns Oscar Burns sign thinking it was an inappropriate joke until I remembered... duh, right, I have the title.

CRIMSON LORD VS. GAGE BLACKWOOD
A good win to get Crimson Lord back to his badass self. And I am most intrigued about the post-match. Mushi NEEDS to get back to form with a good feud to sink his teeth into and I think him and Crimson Lord hossing it up can be great. More of this, please.

P-A-R-T-Y? BECAUSE I GOTTA!
I writed dis with Billy and Ford. We put words on the pages and hopefully fun was had by all.

TO THE MAXX VS. THE DIBBINS BROUSINS
Hahaha, this was great and I fucking love this team already, Mikey. The tag team division looks fucking great and I can't tell you how bad I want to get back into it, but sadly this will have to wait.

MYSTERY BOX FOUND!
This worked on every level and I told Scott this already, but I love The Toybox already as grand shit disturbers and can't wait for The Fuse Bros/Toybox feud to progress.

Side note, I think I'd love to see a stable of Crimson Lord with Toybox as grand shit disturbers of DEFIANCE.

THE JAY HARVEY VS KERRY KUROYAMA
This was a very well-written match and enjoyed Kuroyama getting to look strong before THE Jay Harvey rightfully ran him down. Harvey is one of our best heels going right now and with DEFIANCE getting to continue, I hope he really has a chance to thrive.

I TOLD YOU...
And I can tell that thriving is already happening with this feud with Scott Douglas. This was fucking great and I love this feud. I don't think I fellate this feud any more, but this has been awesome.

THE MAN IN THE MIRROR
More tag team goodness and I love it. And both of these teams seem tailor-made for feuding with one another, as do Fuse Bros and Toybox. This has all the potential to be really good, too.

JACK HARMEN VS. THE D
A Tom Ford Guy vs. A Tom Ford Guy! Oh, the humanity!

...This was great and I absolutely love the "Give No Fucks" Harmen we've been seeing since the tail end of the UTA invasion.

I didn't touch on this from 101's feedback, but I fucking loved Flex Kruger being part of the group and I hope we get more of that if possible.

BLOKES AND BLOKETTES
I also writed dis.

PLAYING THE GAME
Decent follow-up for the Douglas/Harvey drama from earlier. No way Douglas is gonna let this slide. If he did, then it probably wouldn't be professional wrestling.

BURNS VS. ELISE
I writed this (with small assist from Billy). Hope you all enjoyed it and the post-match to set the tone for the remainder of the arc.

Overall, these last two shows in the new era have been easy reads and flowed very well. I like that all three title divisions have good angles surrounding them now with the non-title feuds being just as interesting. Let us keep doing great things.

unleashed – Nice opener to set up a match later on, but not sure what to make of Crimson talking to himself and ranting about crayons when he’s a stone cold killer who enjoys hurting people for fun.

rundown - angus and keebs basically just comment about the previous segment and go into their match.

blackwood vs crimson – Loved this match. Story telling was on point and showed the Crimson we all know and love and how Gage continues to be an underrated talent ready to break out. The reverse finish reminds me of Shamrock and Rocky.

p-a-r-t-y? because i gotta! – Classic face championship promo. Well written and sets the tone for the Main Event and that Oscar wants to be a fighting champion.

to the max vs the dibbins- Enjoyed the match but I thought the Dibbins got too much offense in for my liking and kind of watered down the victory of the hyped up new tag team.

mystery box found – I’m a Jestal mark. Loved the character from back from UTA and glad to see the trademark smiles being applied to someone else not named Scott Stevens. Lol. I like the act and the conversations between the siblings. It’s creative and unique and know they have a focus and that spells disaster for the tag champs.

harvey vs kuroyama – Jay Harvey being Jay Harvey. Good stuff.

i told you... – Top feud in DEFIANCE right now.

the man in the mirror – Seeds have been planted.

the d vs harmen – Love the D….wait a minute…..didn’t mean to say it like that….get your mind out of the gutter people!!!! Enjoyed this match. The D is a character I’m becoming a fan of and I’m waiting for Harmen to just completely snap out.

blokes and blokettes
– Everyone wants a piece of the champion and Angel wants to test his mettle against the FIST and with his recent success why not challenge the top guy when you’re the Guru of HOSSness.

playing the game – Solid segment.

burns vs ares – Good back and forth match with lots of near falls you would expect in a high profile match. The Harmen drive by was well executed. Enjoyed it.

Yellow crayon = Oscar burns
Silver crayon - Iris davine
Outer Space Crayon = Gage Blackwood
Lime Green Crayon = Chris Ross
And I have officially lost my cotton pickin mind

CRIMSON LORD VS. GAGE BLACKWOOD
When I read Will’s match...I want to go to DEFIANCE Labor relations about Benny Doyle being prejudice to seven footers

P-A-R-T-Y? BECAUSE I GOTTA!
Oscar with a good first promo as champion, The PCP seem to take a bit long, but it kind of reminded me of Goku and Vegeta deciding who fights was a nice twist on a group debat

TO THE MAXX VS. THE DIBBINS BROUSINS
Eric wilson I got a feeling is going to be my fav of this team. Loved the match, To the Maxx makes a impressive debu here look forward to seeing this team develop in the coming shows

MYSTERY BOX FOUND!
You know what your problem is reader?

THE JAY HARVEY VS KERRY KUROYAMA
Fuck you Benny Doyle! Prejudice to us seven foot monsters! I liked the match and the ruthlessness of Jay….but given the ending CL did the same thing to Gage, and Benny quickly reversed his decision whereas he sort of let Jay have his way. Again not much ya can do here given the circumstances

I TOLD YOU...
I swear me,rob, will, brain knew nothing of our plans this week. This with a slight adjustment was exactly what me and rob did earlier….great minds think alike I suppose

THE MAN IN THE MIRROR
The seeds of a potential rivalry in the future have been planted. I dig it

JACK HARMEN VS. THE D
Well, Jackie is off his rocker, poor D and Klien being hsi personal punching bag. Surprised he just didn’t deck Carla while he was at it. Love the YO ADRIENNE! I DID IT! Line by D lmao

BLOKES AND BLOKETTES
Oscar just continues to pick up where Cayle left off, now Angel wants a piece. This guy better slow down before he burns out.

PLAYING THE GAME
Douglas and Kerry spending quality time with Iris again...Eventually Douglas is going to have to play Jay’s game, Jay better be ready for it cause I got a feeling Scott to give Jay everything he has coming to him.

BURNS VS. ELISE
Another classic here, Oscar has turned up the notch since becoming champion, far more different style then when he was up against CL for the last few months. Good balance between a intergender match up too nothing really unbelievable great job. I knew it that prick Stevens was not going anywhere...he seemed to interested in Burns, and his hot streak, to just leave it alone.

FEELING STROPY
Enjoyed Oscar's parts, although Steven's snorting cocaine was a bit too much. Alot of his dialog came off rather childish. Not the Steven's I have enjoyed so far.

OSCAR BURNS VS. STEVENS DYNASTY
This really did not flow well with me either. You would thinking after snorting all the drugs not even five minutes ago, Steven's would not be in any condition to really be much of a threat...then again I never did any of what he did previous segment. Oscar challenging both angel and Bo in a triple threat seems way out in left field. Usually situations like what happens it would lead to a tag team match playa. So Burns making it a triple threat just came off weird. Sorry fellas so far this show just not feeling it between the two

COLOR COMMENTARY
Nice rundown of the show, and rundown of what happened with stevens, angel and oscar

DANDELION VS. TYLER FUSE
Wrote hope ya like

THE AVENGER
This was a good build to mushi/cl match later. Connecting shows is always a good plus, something I enjoyed in Oscar's promo earlier bringing the unwatched uncut to forefront

PCP VS DUBBINS
Good tag match with a tease by To The Maxx. Glad they just teased rather than quickly move into a brawl.

ACT II ANOTHER MONTAGE
after I finished this idk how I felt about it specifically the last two lines of it seem to end abruptly. See what u guys thought.

BREAK THE SILENCE
This was a damn good segment here. You could literally feel the emotion coming from Elise toward Jack. Very well done fellas.

THE BRUV SHOW
AH YA MY BOY JFK BACK! Love the idea of having a talk show in Defiance. Gives a new median to work on stories. Only thing I probably would of added is faking Douglas theme song with him not showing up and the three could have a laugh at the faithfuls expense. But that's just me loved the segment regardless.

CRIMSON LORD VS MUSHIGIARA
Wrote the ending to it, didn't expect it to be too long saving it for the big show.

FLASH FROM THE PAST
Decent promo, laying out the challenge for PCP.

BURNS VS. ANGEL VS BO
Hell of a match, Burns is able to survive….but Steven's is going to wait a year to challenge for the title? Next ppv is Accession not Acts of Defiance ;)

feeling stroppy
loved the burns portion of the segment, classic face champion style. when stevens comes in it loses momentum a little. him doing blow off some bitches tit is unnecessary here, do that in a promo/propaganda. there it would be more fitting. that took me out of it but stoovins putting in his family to challenge burns is an okay wrinkle. the night starts off blazin'

burns vs bo
match is going a long, of course the all 16 (i kid) of the stoovins' have to do some fuckery and angel trinidad comes out to even the odds and the match gets turned into a triple threat later in the night. i didn't hate this turning into a triple threat but it did make me scratch my head.

color commentary
finally some sort of rundown.

fuse vs dandelion
solid match right here. classic fuckery from the heel tag team, face takes his eyes off his opponent and then pays for it. this feud is getting hot and i like it.

the avenger
good promo setting up this upcoming match. dante lays it down for crimson lord and these two monsters will battle later on in the night.

pcp vs the dibbins
short and sweet.

another montage
this was pretty funny. i had to read it a twice but it was real good. i member scott doing something like this in wrestleuta with jestal. i'm not 100% sure why burns was involved... Besides that this seeed to fit more of a face character than these shit-heels that have been attacking the fuse bros week after week. i guess blur the lines.

break the silence
this segment seemed emotional between the characters involved. jack harmen continues to be the best heel and possibly character in the company. i can't wait for this match to happen.

the bruv show
woo!

mushi vs crimson lord

crimson lord gets the win but this war is far from over. lord goes for the brass knucks and gets himself a count out victory. kind of out of character for lord but it reminded me of something kevin nash would do.

flash from the past
that promo was fire. mikey hasn't lost a step and to the max are gunning for pcp. the defiance tag division has continued to be the top story for the last 2-3 arcs. i'm super excited for all of these matches.

bo vs bruns vs angel
lots of false finishes and times where you thought burns was going to lose. burns retains and stevens puts him out after the final bell. stoovins and burns for the FIST at... acts of defiance? did i miss something?

good show guys.

Playing some catch up. DEFG Radio is still planned to happen but for now here is DEFtv102.

More to come. UNLEASHED
Interesting segment. Since Crimson Lord first got to DEF it?s been clear he is a bit mentally unstable so this felt like more down that lane but with the involvement of Iris Davine and the contractual psych eval feels like this is going somewhere. I?m certainly interested to see where.

RUNDOWN
I wrote this. It?s shorter than normal but Scott had sent me over his opening piece beforehand and I felt like coming out of that cold open we should just get right to resulting match.

CL v. GB
Given, the medium, I thought the two theme songs was a typo at first glance, but of course it isn?t and the deal with the two Darrenses right after sell it. Nice touch. I feel like Blackwood has been injured in one way or another since the beginning of the Invasion. He may have beat the DDP/Ribs gimmick from WCW. I like he gets his asskicked quick but then out maneuvers the big man and nearly gets a pin. Given the pacing of this show so far, I almost wanted to see him get the three count there. They really sell the shoulder here which is great, the Douglas/Kerry/Harvey situation is similar and Tom actually brought this to my attention not long ago. At the time I thought they were different enough to not worry about it but now reading the show on whole - they are extremely similar, which is my fault. I should have addressed it before. So we?ll live and learn from that mistake and I?m confident both angles are going to split in such different directions that by the time we get to the blow off this double down won?t be as remembered.

P-A-R-T-Y? BECAUSE I GOTTA!
Burns is a fantastic face and so far a super solid champion so no surprise this works as well as it does. Angus? early praise and only a few lines later, he?s over it. Perfect. I?m lost on the GC reference but I really dug this in-ring. And of course why else would be in there but not to ? incite a reaction, this is pro wrestling after all. Elise?s opening bit had me as confused as she was for a second but then in made sense of course. If PCP is involved, the humor ensues and this didn?t let down. Harmon?s car being keyed, R/P/S, Klein?s reaction all good stuff.

TO THE MAXX vs. THE DIBBINS BROUSINS
Strong debut here for Larry and Eric, beating the Dibbins BROUSINS. Which is hilarious all on it?s own. I like these guys gimmick, especially Eric?s and the unimpressed Faithful spots in here were great. Solid match and good debut, can?t wait to see these guys get a little further into the arc.

MYSTERY BOX FOUND!
This was an interesting read. I don?t know if this is something I would have enjoyed watching if this were a real TV show, but in this medium it was an interesting read. We see a little bit more of Jestal and Dandelion?s dynamic here and now they?ve stolen the Tag titles it would seem.

THE JAY HARVEY vs. "THE PACIFIC BLITZKRIEG" KERRY KUROYAMA/I TOLD YOU...
Helped with this but Will did the lion's share. Hope everyone dug it. I covered the double arm thing above.

THE MAN IN THE MIRROR
I really can?t stand Jamie Sawyers, which is a good thing. ?Woah woah woah there girls name,? I popped for that line.?Seriously, just like, use words.? Quick little segment before commercial, works perfect and seemingly lays some groundwork for the future. Bong Bong.

THE D vs. JACK HARMEN
Good quick match. Keeping the Harmen v. PCP going. I?m digging Harmen?s mean streak here as The D somehow pulls one out. Phrasing. The D celebrating a win via DQ so hardcore is pretty perfect.

BLOKES AND BLOKETTES
?I said when I won this title earlier tonight this line confused me considering Burns won the title two weeks prior. Other than that question and I don?t know if I?ve mentioned it before or not, but I have no line on the ?GC? ref? but suuuuper solid babyface deal here with Angel stepping in toward the end to makes sure things keep moving forward. Great champ work.

PLAYING THE GAME
Shit, through and though.

OSCAR BURS vs. ELISE ARES
The lonnnnng running babyface champ dropped to the new fresh and quirky babyface so it only makes sense this would be face/face. Fighting champ and all. Solid match and it keeps Elise looking pretty strong and keeps the heat with Harmon.

The afterward ? I can?t say I?m crazy about. Mostly because one week prior we just ran some masked heel gimmick ? so either someone or all ... aren't reading the shows or has decided what they are doing is bigger than continuity? or idk, something. Either way, not a big fan.

You have to be ready to pivot? always. Anyone who was around for the Reaper/Douglas stuff ? that was planned out for 4 months at a clip, and everything always changed ... always ? It?s tough to get ANY heel over if we?ve got two doing the nearly the same exact shit.

OVERALL:
Good show. Two overlapping issues ... which needs to be addressed at the start of next arc. I have some ideas to remedy it. But everyone is doing very well and I'm glad this thing is still going.

FEELING STROPY

I guess first things first, the cocaine thing was a little odd. DEF certainly has some laxed TV rules in story, given the cursing and etc. And this was later followed up with the potential of investigations of some sort. My main issue with the stunt is it doesn’t do anything to really put Steven’s over or get him any heat… (unless this is the lead in to him falling into a crippling drug addiction, that could be interesting.) But it just comes across like a stunt that I don’t think really does anything for Stevens or the fued.

Burns is everything you want him to be here and we get a slightly different show open then normal, and it’s good to shake things up every once and awhile.

OSCAR BURNS VS. STEVENS DYNASTY
And just like that we are off and running and in the first match of the night. Some of the action in the early going of this was a bit confusing. I had to read it a few times to keep up with what was going on. I would have expected this not-a-match to go a littttle bit longer before the inevitable fuckery would break it up. I like the idea that Angel would come save Oscar and mostly so he can get his match tonight. That being said, Oscar might be spreading himself a bit to thin accepting this match in the first place with another already scheduled in the night. And now we have a triple threat. Commentary calls it pretty perfect, Oscar may be biting off more than he can chew.

COLOR COMMENTARY
Gotta get that run down in. Douglas is here tonight? Wait, why am I reading this? … kidding.

DANDELION VS. TYLER FUSE
Dandelion looked so strong here I was expecting her to lose. Decent match. I think the commentary is a little stale here, sort of generic. It reads like I remember wrestling game commentary. All the cliches that could fit any match - no other story building comments or etc. That being said this is still a super solid match. I’d just suggest in the future use DDK and Angus more to your advantage in telling the story of the match and feud on whole. Angus especially, he has a very specifically opinionated way about him, while DDK can keep the match on pace and also add as well.

THE AVENGER
Solid promo. Pushed the match, hyped the feud and what’s caused the two to class. Made it personal … and sort of business. Mushi’s building intensity/one word (OSU? Is a word, right?) responses punctuate Dante’s rhetoric. Although Mushi functions decently as a face, and Dante is talking like one … something about the mouth for a big man just always feels heel. But like I said solid promo.

PCP VS DIBBINS
PCP is always good for a laugh … and then you add the nonsense that is the Dibbins to that mix? Some solidly funny moments in this match. PCP pick up would should have been an easy win but Too The Maxx poke their head’s in on the proceedings and make it a little tougher.

ACT II ANOTHER MONTAGE
Great tie in line at the top. Keeping the continuity going. Lotta of people to keep up with in this one, but manageable. It’s tough to type out a montage and this reads pretty well but I do this is read a bit long … that being said this or something like it would be a PERFECT fit on the currently underused Uncut show.

BREAK THE SILENCE
“Don’t change the channel, folks,” DEF is currently on HULU and Ondemand sort of service I am told. We can chalk it up to Darren being an old TV guy, hard to break old habits and we do have the commercials now … but that because no one watching DEF is paying for HULU Premium or whatever they call it.

I always pop for the Lake Placid references. Great segment. Elise and Harmen are set to do it once more, legs vs respect … or at least a hand shake feigning respect. This feud has something behind it, something tangible and makes it feel that much more important.

THE BRUV SHOW
Glad that Stevie is still around in any capacity and this segment type great. Hoping to see it again in future arcs. Stevie and Will handled this one and they did a great job. Given I’m involved in the feud it’s pushing, I’ll leave it at that.

CRIMSON LORD VS MUSHIGIARA
This was super short and a bit of a tease… but given they are two of biggest BIG MEN in the company - I can get behind that booking. Tease it, get everyone hype but don’t let them have the pleasure until it’s being paid for.

FLASH FROM THE PAST
Love the old school quick promo style. Fits these guys perfectly! Solid work.

BURNS VS. ANGEL VS BO
Honor boner. I misread something earlier I walked in thinking this was going to be Scott rather then Bo, on some “if you want it done right, do it yourself” kind of thing. I must of read what I wanted to see because that is what I’d prefer here. Heel-nanigans 101? Not a fan of that line. This is a solid match though. There was a lot to juggle here; Stevens Dynasty is using the numbers game on the outside, triple threat situation, the second set of brass knuckles in one night. I think it all plays well, the cheating doesn’t get Stevens the result he would prefer so he goes into what I can only assume is a cocaine fueled rage and attacks the champ. Good tv build for pay per view, the bad guys having smited the good: stand tall as we go to black.

This might be all over the place it's a mix of 104 and Accession

104
The showcase of Brazen continues in a fatal five way. Nice write up lots going on and Levi gets some momentum going into Tourney.
DEFTV 104 - GO TEAM HARMEN
Jack trying to get the Dibbins on the right page, even brought them a slop bucket...nice touch. Go Team Harmen
DEFTV 104 - PCP (ELISE ARES, THE D, KLEIN) vs. JACK HARMEN & THE DIBBINS
The match itself was full of action, surprised Jack didnt take into account Flexy Kruger

ELISE ARES VS JACK HARMEN
I by far have not thought of doing this format myself, but the one thing I felt might be a issue would be following it as a reader. Now if I were watching this probably would of seemed fitting for the show. From what I can say about this match is the DEFIANCE CREW are rather incompetent. It was hard to believe that they could not find a cameraman after they lost feed the first time and not get it back rather quickly. Instead it went into a match with To The Maxx and PCP which was a pretty decent length, not to mention a segment with a promo on Clash of the Brazen. So I find it hard to believe they could not find SOMEONE to catch up with Ares/Harmen. Now when I say the little foreshadowing of them possibly showing up during this match I was like ok that's manageable. However that did not happen. There was just way too much of a huge gap between this match for me to really enjoy it. I would get into the match only to not get a ending and be moving to segments in the show. So by the time I was finished reading those segments I had to get back into a matchup I already forgot what happened earlier.

CLASH OF THE BRAZEN
This is on my list of reads, and I?ll be beefing it as well.

To The Maxx Vs PCP
This was a pretty well done tag match, from the blind tags to the clueless ref figuring out what was a legal tag and what wasn?t. Classic Tag team stuff here.

ANGEL IN THE OUTSFIELD
Stevens Dynasty continue to become a thorn in DEFIANCE. This time Angel takes a brutal beating at the hands of Stevens family. Do I smell a bit of retribution later possibly?

IM IN CONTROL
Good stuff here by Jay, feeling like he has Douglas's number and tonight both Catalina and himself feel a championship celebration coming on. Good hype up for their match later in the show.

DEFTV 104 - AMUBULANCES P1 & 2
Rob headed this up, I was fighting a nasty flu at the time. I enjoyed what he did. Felt my idea might of been a bit too much, this way was a better option.

CRIMSON LORD VS MUSHIGIHARA
Hope you enjoy it.

ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES
Miss Evans laying down the law against The Stevens Dynasty, Bo and Cary are now banned from ringside well that one less thing Oscar has to worry about tonight.

DEFTV 104 - CHARACTERS UNLOCKED: THE TOY BOX
Conor blaming himself for all their failures. Seems they unlocked new characterS and had no idea they were A bad guy & gal

THE FUSE BROS(C) VS THE TOYBOX
I wasn't expecting Roland to have Dandy be the workhorse in this match, but it actually worked out perfectly for the story we wanted to get off Conor finally getting his hands on Jestal. I added a few spots but for the most part all Roland and I enjoyed it

104
Jay quest to get a soher championship shot, reaches its finale. After Jay trying to make it personal he finally gets Douglas to give him the chance at the title. The whole series was built pretty well and a nice switch from cl/mushi story which we were practically running parallel with.

DOUGLAS/HARVEY PROMO PACKAGE
Good hype up for the upcoming match. This type of segment needs to be done alot more. This is always a plus when you give a brief review of everything that has happened between the two this arc. Love these types of segments I did this earlier with CL/Mushi for Burns and Stevens (more of a mentioned).

SCOTT DOUGLAS(C) VS THE JAY HARVEY
I loved this match by far the best match thus far. Classic heel Harvey and classic baby Douglas style. Jay was methodical and Douglas brought the fire. Harvey was long overdue for a championship run since his first appearance in UTA. Great write up fellas

104
Decent main event

BURNS VS. STEVENS
This had a good story with Steven's working on Burns throat leading to the killshot. Have to say I was shocked when I first read the match I did not expect Oscar to drop the title so quickly. I am also surprised the rest of Steven's family did not come out to celebrate with Scott. Maybe get a few pot shots in on Oscar as well. The ending just shows the brutality of Scott Stevens and I dig what the character has evolve to since the UTA days.
