BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIP WRESTLING

[FONT=&quot]British Championship Wrestling or “BCW” for short is a new e-fed opening its doors. Although it is a new e-fed, it does have history. In 2012 there was an e-fed called “Hardcore Championship Wrestling” or HCW which was open for 3 years, consistently having shows and pay-per-views before closing its doors in 2015. Nearly a year later and the staff of HCW are coming together to create the BCW. Being run by two e-fedders with over 10 years experience, both from being RPers and being staff. With match writers and staff ready to join, the future looks bright for BCW, all we need now….is you![/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]What makes this e-fed different from the others? There will be planned storylines along with communication between staff and e-fedders to discuss not only potential storylines but also how to help their characters. With a create rapport being built between e-fedders and staff, we are hoping to create not only a great environment to enjoy our hobby but also a bond of trust, trust that we will not abuse our use of your characters and trust that we will entertain with great storylines in return.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]A fortnightly schedule which most of the time will be our TV show “Ignition” will allow to build storylines before quarterly pay-per-views end or continue those storylines. The aim is to have a storyline driven e-fed with results determined by RP scores and opportunities abound for people to become stars.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]About the Product[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]We will run a bi-weekly show named “Ignition”[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Quarterly there will be pay-per-views, taking the place of the TV show “Ignition”[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Right now we have 3 championships:[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]1. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]The BCW World championship[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]2. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]BCW Tag Team championship[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]3. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]The Dynamic championship, which will be our cruiserweight championship.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]We have more championships waiting in the wings, including a Women’s championship, but they will wait until we get a big enough roster and enough viable competitors.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]We are an RP based fed with the results of matches being determined by the roleplays of competitors, unless specific storyline situations arise. In the circumstance, both competitors in the match will have been contacted by the staff and reasons would be given. If both competitors can’t agree to the result of the match, the storyline plans will be put aside and the result of the match will be determined by the usual way, roleplays.[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]The Rules[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]1.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] The name of our main TV show is Ignition. Cards for Ignition and the various PPVs will be posted in the Arena section, typically a week or so before the date of the show. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]2.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] If your CAW (aka the wrestler/character you've signed up with and portray) is booked for an event, you will submit a promo/segment in character regarding the match itself and your opponent/opponents. The creative team will then grade your promo against your opponent's submission to determine who wins that particular match. Promos are graded on the following categories:[/FONT][FONT=&quot][/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
* [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Creativity/Originality[/FONT][FONT=&quot]: Probably the most important out of the criteria. If your promo is creative and/or something we've never seen before and executed well, it will most likely grab our attention quicker than one that might not be as creative. Experiment with new ideas, explore your character in different ways...you're only limited by your imagination when it comes to presenting yourself. Obviously no plagiarism, anything plagiaristic will be null and void and will lead to punishment.

* [/FONT][FONT=&quot]Relevance[/FONT][FONT=&quot]: It's all right to branch out, but ultimately it's important to keep your promos on topic with the match at hand or the opponent you're facing. Otherwise, it just looks like you're rambling about everything other than the matter at hand, and nobody likes that out of their wrestlers.

*[/FONT][FONT=&quot]Background and Scene-Setting[/FONT][FONT=&quot]: Don't be afraid to flesh out the details of where your character is at the time of the promo. And don't limit yourself to simply stating "backstage" or "at the gym." Where precisely is your character? What is he doing at the time?

*[/FONT][FONT=&quot]Spelling/Grammar/Formatting[/FONT][FONT=&quot]: Obviously we're not going to be nitpicking every single grammatical mistake, but a clear and easy-to-read promo will usually beat out a messy, clunky, and hard-to-read promo. Think of it in terms of a wrestler cutting a promo. If he mumbles, stutters, or rambles on incoherently, he's not going to get the attention that a wrestler who speaks clearly and cleanly will. Same applies for written promos.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]
[/FONT][FONT=&quot]3.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] Promos are due on or before the assigned due date (typically three days before the show's date). Extensions can be allowed if asked for before the show, but it's best not to abuse that. Late promos will also be accepted, but will be docked a few points as a result. Bottom line: try to be on time with promos.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]4.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] Unless given permission by the owner of a CAW, do NOT use another wrestler in your promos. The only exceptions are characters who have been inactive for quite a while, as we tend to use them as "jobbers" for various reasons. If you're not sure of who you can or cannot use for a promo or segment, it's best to either ask the CAW's handler or one of the e-fed staff members.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]5.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] New sign-ups are allowed one singles wrestler and one tag team at a time. This is so that one person doesn't flood the fed with CAWs. If there's any exceptions to be made, it will be made by the e-fed staff.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]6. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]NO EXCESSIVE PROFANITY[/FONT][FONT=&quot]. BCW is on Satelite TV, so the lesser swear words like "ass," "damn," "crap," and "hell" are fine. But please try and avoid the heavier swears. Using these words may result in points being deducted during grading. If you absolutely have to use stronger language, at least censor it yourself.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]7.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] [/FONT][FONT=&quot]The "Backstage" area is a place where you can post blogs, journals, or various other things to give your character some more depth. You can also use things posted in the "Backstage" section for promos and segments for the shows themselves, but anything posted in the Backstage area will not be counted or considered when grading for wins and losses match-wise.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]

[/FONT][FONT=&quot]8.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] The e-fed staff has final say on anything e-fed related. If you have questions, concerns, or ideas as far as CWA is concerned, feel free to shoot a staff member a PM with the details. However, it's best to not complain or bitch about your character in public, as it's not likely going to earn you favor with the Creative Team.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]9.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] After every show there will be a “feedback” thread for that particular show, in this thread it will give you the chance to give feedback on the show itself and each others promos. Treat these threads with respect and each other with respect. It is NOT a thread for you to belittle each other or “slag off” the show writing or match results. It is for constructive criticism to help each other get better and the fed get better.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]10.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] The results of matches will 99% of the time be down to roleplays and the scoring of said roleplays. There may be the 1% in which a creative decision is made for storyline purposes but if this is the case, there will be communication between the owners and the members of that match. There will be an explanation and if both members can not agree to go forward in this, changes will be made for the storyline.[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]11.[/FONT][FONT=&quot] “3 strikes and you’re out!” rule applies. First step will be a warning, second step will be 30 day suspension and the final step will be expulsion from the federation.[/FONT]
