Great job on the card, gang.

I *LOVE* Eric Dane. Awesome character.

So many great twists. Nova's attack -- awesome stuff. I also love Dan Ryan giving warning to everyone -- especially JJ.

The wrong side of the bong slide.
Good, fast-paced, fun read to move the arc along. I think BRAWL shows have come a long way since their introduction in v3 in 2007. They seemed more disjointed then, with the sole purpose of keeping some action going between big shows. Now they're legit vehicles for storyline development and surprises, and I dig it.

BEST MOMENTS: I loved the August De La Rossi/Eric Dane/Peter Windham show-opener. August continues to win me over with the heel take on ultra-liberalism, nothing I've really seen before. Eric Dane has the chops to make it as a serious sport-oriented superstar, like Dan Ryan. Speaking of Ryan, another great moment was his take on recent events. I swear, Brunk could have Ryan come down to the ring and rap for fifteen minutes about how when you buy a garden hose from Home Depot, you expect it not to have tiny holes which cause water to mist out the side of the hose, so it's real disappointing when you spend the money and the hose is f*cked...

...he could do that, and it would still feel natural. Also, no complaints about the ending. I really enjoyed mixing it up in the RP cycle prior to posting of the show, since a lot of it wasn't specifically match-oriented, so people were just doing it to do it.

Thanks Chris!

Over the last year, I've tried to hone in on the simulcast show style. College Gameday, Mike/Mike in the Morning, Dan Patrick Show, Scott Van Pelt -- from a hosting/studio desk 'look', I've been using those shows for a little inspiration.

I feel the Highlights packages are working really well for the format as well. Even if I get something in narrative, it's easy to break it up into the teleplay format to match this show style.

And with the end of the show, I tried to play up alot of the RP I had seen leading up to the Brawl.

FYI -- Eric Dane is actually a HOF character from another community (WfWA) that Justin has so graciously brought here. Unfortunately, Billy didn't tell me that Justin wrote his own mic spot for the match he was in...SO APOLOGIES FOR EDITING YOUR WORK, JUSTIN! In my defense, I've become an OCD editing freak lately as I don't write the matches but still want to make the best show possible. :)

I once again didn't write my own character... and, once again, it was better than anything I would come up with.

I actually take it as a compliment that people feel comfortable enough writing my characters. I've always been really willing to let people do that. I don't remember anyone ever writing stuff my guys wouldn't say. I also think it's a good sign that the characters are defined and clear enough for folks to use properly.

I've always thought it was fun to see how people write my characters, but not everyone may feel that way...so I just wanted to throw out the reason why that got edited in case Justin cared.

Let's face it...there have been bad moments with this in our long forum history.

Who could forget Tard's response to feedback on him writing Eddie Mayfield in CSWA? "What do you mean, he's not black?"

But I'm definitely with you GG -- it's alot of fun to see others' interpretations, when they're done well. Luckily, we got a good crop of writers paying attention!

Don't worry about it AT ALL sir.

You remember, up until a week ago I was a fedhead myself, and I was also an editing NAZI. When I wanted a segment to come across a certain way, if it didn't, I would scratch it and re-write it myself if I had to. All you did was take what I gave you and made it better. You didn't change all that much and what you did change just worked. I'll be honest, I thought the segment was a little flat when I sent it off to Billy, and I'm glad you juiced it up some.

Mad Phat Stupid Dumbass props, sir, and zero offense taken.

You're the second fedhead in history to ever get Dane right, take a bow.

Oh, and I'm in the NeWA HoF too, *****es.
