I'll give a shot at the ole feedbackin' machine:

- I am always impressed by NFW openers, time and time again they actually do a remarkable job of getting people (me) hyped for the show while reading them. In a way it's such a simple thing but it's really tricky to do right. If I was writing something like that I'd offer as much depth as "HEY GUYS STUFF IS HAPPENING. WHOOOOOOOOP STUFF".

- Bit of a squash to start things off, which is disappointing as I've heard rumour that Helga loves Finish House Music and would've happily taken those fine Northern Frontier gentlemen under her wing. Point of View lack theme music at the moment but I've managed to do some hard work and track 'em down some: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps_4tmuilmg

- There is something oddly cute and endearing about the hope that cupcakes can make NFW a better place, bringing everyone together as they enjoy the delicious frosting. Sadly the NFW is filled with complete wreakage zones of human beings so this was going to fall on its face sooner or later. Not exactly sure a sledgehammer to the face is the most suitable comeuppance for a cupcake thief like Nova. Hanging would probably be better suited. The cupcake segments were just fun little things, enjoyed 'em

- IMPULSE HAS A LIVE MIC! HE'S BURYING EVERYONE! OH GOD DUCK OUT OF THE WAY! Seriously, cool face promo that played in well to the "turns your back in JJ" gimmick that has already starting developing. Things eventually need to move on and this promo done the job of pushing Impulse forward with an "onwards and upwards" sort of attitude.

- Since I've started reading NFW again, I've not quite got the Legion/Stalker and The Fallen stuff, probably because I just didn't read far back enough to get there, which is my fault but to me, obviously The Fallen are a group of characters but they all just seem to sit there and serve the same purpose when I read this but as I said, that is more my fault than anyone elses for not following the stuff too closely. Good win for Teddy here that doesn't really take the steam or momentum away from Legion either. Always good to see a brief moment of uniting against a common foe before going back to smack each other in the face some more.

- I never got a chance to get a cupcake. DAMN YOU NOVA.

- Okay, my return... yeah. That happened. Emmm... enjoy? I guess? I think I sent it to Katz with the mindset of "oh no, this is far too ridiculous" and thought he might step in at some point. Oh, how wrong I was. Now I get to run with the idea without trying to **** up shows! This will be a delicate balance. I fully expect Rupert Murdoch's chair to also be a jetpack.

- God damn is JJ DeVille for me, the best heel on the show. I mean, given the power he has, it's hard to overcome but there's just something about the writing that just wants you to smack him all across his smug little face. Continuation of the new exciting method of turning your back on the most evil man in NFW is fun too. The Cruise stuff really feels like an old school wrestling angle and a great way to rehabilitate a character who aligned themselves with the "big bad" stable. Getting smacked up, down and all around is really a great way to try and build sympathy and fan support. I suppose the only problem with that was it kinda happened twice on the show, as NeinNineNein and Harmen came across in that way too but hey, if it works, it works.

- DAMN RIGHT YOU GET SMACKED IN THE FACE NOVA! I wanted some cupcakes.

- So yeah, to follow up what I was saying with Cruise, all it took for Harmen to be forgiven in the eyes of the NFW fans was to be thoroughly smashed up by a crazy German. I enjoyed seeing it all progress over the course of the match, from the start with the fans still a little unsure about our formerly high flyin' friend until the show of support as Nova came up to save him from the bat**** crazy man. Not sure if it was the intention but it certainly came across as a double turn kind of situation with Harmen getting a bit of sympathy and Doc being just a little bit too bat****. Certainly came through that way.

- It's interesting to see a gimmick of "dream come true" and "is a dick" come and be merged together with Beachy but I'm interesting in seeing more from the team. Not sure if in real life insulting an autograph hunter is considered a sin worthy of pitchforks but really, I'm not one to take about "in real life" with regards to NFW events.

- I'm interested to see where the Dynasty goes from here. I've loved the team as it has a great old school feel (yes Billy, free Blaine) and that is something that NFW does great. Given the events at the end of the match, I feel like you almost have this Heyman/Cornette kinda deal with the Midnight Express but rather leading to co-ownership instead. The Carlton family feud has been a fun one to follow and I do like the options that the post-match events offer, there's a lot of comedic potential in a co-managerialship between the Carltons and I do hope it goes that way. The match itself was excellent at being complete manic and excellent in its own right. Surprised to see the rematch cash-in, not sure if this was a write-out job or not. I've been following the shows but not the ins and outs of NFW.

- Contract signing was mixed for me. I felt like you could have really cut out most of the stuff leading up to getting to the conference room as it just seemed to be taking pointless shots at stuff outside of NFW. Just seemed unnecessary to me and I agreed with Billy's view of the Blaine/Zero decision. Maybe I was missing some true genius there but it seemed like a good page or so of "I'ma gonna write a dumb character called Chadwick because Chad is a dummypoopoohead for letting Zero win". Also wasn't really keen on the Impulse/Ryan shots but really, normally I'd view that as good heelin' but after the Chad thing, it's easier to take it as dumb shootin'.

With that said, I enjoyed Castor touring his former property and seeing the damage brought about by Dane. The post-agreement shenanigans were great, just a complete feel of the hero trying to escape the super villain's lair and having to go through his henchmen to do so. I loved having the mental image of Eric Dane driving about town with a Castor Strife hood ornament as he goes to pick up his shopping, get some gas, all the things a fancy man about town does even if it did invoke the mental imagery of Big Show riding his father's coffin as Bossman drove him about. Although nothing wrong with picturing that great moment in wrestling history either.

Overall though, good show, looking forward to being part of NFW again and indeed onwards to Brawl and Reloaded.

Awesome feedback, thanks for your thoughts Colin. Just to clear up my intentions with the Chadwick character and all the shooting, before it grows a life of it's own: I like Chad, I created Chadwick as a way to rib him all in good fun. Chadwick is really just a bizzarro world Chad Merritt with horns, i.e. nothing like the real guy. Just a super-polite drinkmaker who get very angry at impoliteness. However, the silly t-shirt was, in fact, me outright making fun of a handful of Ultratitle judges whom I have little to no regard for. Names are withheld to protect the innocent, but yeah, I'm a mean old shooter.

I also agree that it took a little focus off the main point of the segment, but it made me and two other people laugh, so I left it in for selfish reasons. Mostly I just wanted the segment to be all types of crazy, combining elements from many classic/cheezy summertime wrestling segs. I expect few of you will really like it, but that's OK, I had a blast writing the damn thing!

I think it stood out more because, maybe as a segment mid-show it's just silly and fun but as part of the main event segment, main event feud and title build it just seems like it over-powered your own build. Dane/Strife should be great and I look forward to it, it just seemed like it under-cut the hype.

But hey, I'm a big proponent of "write for yourself, hope others enjoy it" so I can completely understand why you would do it.

Feedback from Biron

Welcome to the Show! - Standard NFW show opener, which demolishes anything that any other fed does. It sets the tone for the show and, honestly, makes you feel like you've just flipped on the TV. I've come to expect this from Katz, but he's still a fuckin' wizard. (keeps towing the company line)

POINT OF VIEW vs. NORTHERN FRONTIER - JTTS Match and it served its purpose. I really like the potential of this team. They've got some similarities to the Suicide Kings, but also great differences. Looking forward to what Steve does with these guys. (We already know what Mueller did with Beachy's mom! Oh snap!)

Cupcake Revolution - Good girl in a very bad place and she's selling cupcakes. Yep, that's Rosie. I obviously enjoy reading Rosie. She's one of the only characters that JB has actually interacted with in a civil manner. I like where Pete is going with this and I know he's going to have a lot of fun doing it. Pete chose three good characters to involve ... Harmen and Nova 'cause they're a hoot and Cameron 'cause he needs to be shown in a good light.

Onwards - First in-ring I've ever really seen from Impulse, which I think Pete mentioned in the segment. Good stuff. Puts a bow on the interaction with JJ DeVille as Impulse begins to setup his next endeavor. I'm sure people are catching where he's headed, but I'm not really going to elaborate on it. Looking forward to this, however!

TEDDY ALEXANDER vs. LEGION - I wrote this. Teddy and Legion both look good. Keeps pushing along the Legion/Stalker business. Teddy shines through as a neutral and a force to be reckoned with. Glad to have you back in the mix, Vossman!

Oh, This Does Not End Well for Nova - Hilarious. I can't believe Rose trusted him with the cupcakes! It's Nova!

A Royal Return - Atken is back! I always liked him (though I haven't seen a ton of him). Billy once wrote an awesome match between Atken and Tarano, where the T'Wolves mascot got heavily involved. I'm going to reread that one tonight. Anyhow, I had no idea what Atken would do and, no bull, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. Welcome back, Colin.

I'll finish the rest tomorrow.

Thanks, mate. It's good to be back! I'm actually really pleased you made a point of the neutral thing because one of my KEY goals with Teddy Alexander is to play that true neutral (ala Stone Cold). I'd seen previously on forums where people were saying there is "no such thing as a true neutral" and talking about how it was simply sitting on the fence and I took that as a challenge to try and make a real neutral character work. So I'm hoping I can achieve that with Teddy and glad you pointed that out!

My feedback is pending. I'll hope to get it up tonight :) (and the feedback - BADUM TISH!)

Voss' Feedback of BRAWL: TAMPA

Okay, since there are five letters in BRAWL you're rating will come from that.

Welcome to the Show
The intro to the show was really cool. Sets the pace and our expectations for the night and it only excited me more to go through it. I like how it flashes to what we're going to see as well and sets some of the storylines' roots in our minds for the show. Solid and entertaining. I love NFW intros.
BRA

Point of View v. Northern Frontier
The first match was a solid opener as you'd expect from an opener and gave us what we'd expect for a debuting tag team that we're expecting to see some big things from. I really want to see where Point of View go here in NFW, who, by the way, has a fantastic tag team division most feds would have to envy.
BR1/2

Cupcake Revolution
I have to say, I'm the first one to grab a spatula and join a cupcake revolution. That out of the way, the segment was cool. I liked how the superstars were taken aback by the offerings of said frosted snacks and the whole idea of Nova guarding the cupcake table just threatens for some zaniness. The style of the segment threw me off since most of NFW comes through in teleplay but I can live with that. Pete's style reminds me of Tim Winton except a little less flowery (if anyone has ever read his stuff) - and that's a compliment.
BRA

Onwards
I really enjoyed Impulse in the ring. He did what I would expect to see in a promo by showing me the history, telling me the present and giving me what the future will hold. I knew everything about the storyline without having to wade through months of NFW programming. I really enjoyed the promo and I'd really like to see Impulse get in the ring and talk more often and hope this is that next step from him as a character to really stamp his brand on NFW.
BRA1/2

Teddy Alexander v. Legion
I really enjoyed this match, how Biron pieces it together. Ben really gets Teddy's style so it makes it more enjoyable for me. Actually, Ben gets everyone's style (when they give him the detail he needs) and writes great matches. Kudos to Biron. I enjoyed them standing side-by-side and going toe-to-toe with the Fallen then turning on one another again. It worked really well and the finish worked well for everyone involved. Great job!
BRA3/4

Oh, this does not end well for Nova
And there's the cupcake pay off. Is it 4/20? I guess we had to see that coming from Nova however I would have liked to see some pay-off for Nova out of his own storylines getting into some sort of cupcake fight. That would have been amazing.
BR

A Royal Return
LOL. I really enjoyed the first part of the segment with Atken referring to himself as a King of Shoes and talking of saving NFW from sticking it's head up it's own arse. I really enjoyed that. The Dirk Dickwood stuff seemingly came out of nowhere for me (maybe since I'm not very familiar with the character's history?) and I'll be interested in seeing how him becoming the "Prime Minister of the UK" has an effect on NFW. I liked the cut-to to Murdoch to end on. LOL. I would have expected a Montgomery Burns style "Nyyyyye-excellent" complete with hand rubs. Solid segment and welcome back, Phil Colins!
BRA

The Power Compels
This segment was solid and really puts JJ over as one of the major heels on this show. It was done well and showed me the history though it probably went on for a bit long. Cruise coming out to defy them was good and the whipping thing was a nice touch. The segment probably put Cruise over more than the Clan and I enjoy seeing Bobby Jack come out each week. I'm looking forward to seeing their feud develop some more.
BRA1/2

And this ends curiously for Nova
More payoff from cupcakes? WIN! And in comes the pay-off I think I was looking for earlier. I think this could have been cooler with a cupcake fight and NUMBER NEIN overcoming Nova in that segment. The third segment probably wasn't required for this but was still kinda fun.
BR3/4

The Superfly Express v. Dr. Curiosity & 9
The mistaken identity thing is cool. The snapping into craziness from Curiosity/NEIN is cool, too. I'm really digging where this story is going but I'm hoping it finds it's way into the tag team scene since Curiosity seems to be some sort of singular entity. The match was cool and the cut-to spot for some real-time was awesome as well. I really like the format for BRAWL like this. Give us the key points to watch and summarise the rest. This was a good match.
BRAW

Even Sonic Day Managers have Groupies, too
The segment was cool and gives us a little insight to Point of View and where they're headed as characters. Didn't REALLY have any point to being on the card for me outside of introducing them. It was still cool and like I said earlier, I'm looking forward to seeing how they fit in with NFW.

Re: Voss' Feedback of BRAWL: TAMPA

Thanks everyone for the kind words about JJ. I'm really glad everyone's getting and liking the character and his smugness and douchiness is getting over.

One of my favorite ECW bits was when The Sandman (w/ Woman) won a match against Tommy Dreamer and had the right to cane the hell out of him afterwards. Woman said they'd stop if Dreamer would kiss her foot. He refused. Mind you, this was right when ECW was blowing up. Dreamer was kind of a cast-off -- before then, he was a pure babyface who wore suspenders and a bowtie. That angle really got him over with the crowd as the tough-ass "Heart and Soul of ECW" he became. They also did something similar with Sandman and Mikey Whipwreck later on that made Mikey seem the same way and gave him legitimacy when he held the world title for a bit.

I replaced a whip with a cane because whipping feels more Biblical to me. I'm far from a Bible expert but whippings just feel more dark.

Another subtle thing I've done that, that wasn't in this match, JJ's now from Arlington, Virginia. I did this so he can be near DC and give him a "master politician" rub. But, naturally, he's a coward and dreads living in an actual city with the crime and drugs and the like. I have a friend who lives in Arlington, too, and it's kind of one of those soulless places of new condos, a fake downtown area and office parks. Having lived and worked in places like that, they're a total nightmare to me and I can see a douche like JJ thinking he's sooooo awesome for being in such a phony place.

I can totally see Cameron Cruise as Mikey Whipwreck. Great comparison!

Also, there's a chance I move to the Arlington-D.C. Metro Area. Thanks for getting me excited about it! :) Been to D.C. though, I thought it wasn't bad, but then again...I'm a soulless kind of guy.

Re: Voss' Feedback of BRAWL: TAMPA

THE POWER COMPELS ...
I've said it before and I'll say it again, JJ DeVille is my favorite character in the NFW. A program between JJ and Ryan should be pretty good, if Brunk is into it. I don't know if I hate Bobby Jack more than Tebow, but it's close. There's the Cameron Cruise face turn that I mentioned earlier. It's not quite SCSA not tapping out, but it's somewhere on the same playing field. The Windham Clan still has a little power, but it's certainly lost it's punch. It's more name now than anything.

AND THIS ENDS CURIOUSLY FOR NOVA ...
A case of mistaken identity! The 9 deal is solid and listening to the Beatles' track only helps you understand how ****ed up Doc is in the head.

THE SUPERFLY EXPRESS vs. DOC CURIOSITY & 9
I wrote this, minus the setup parts by Katz, so I won't say much about the actual match itself. As far as the story goes, it's a good spot for showing how Nova and Harmen have each other's back. Gets over Doc/9's bloodthirst and how crazy he actually is. Also, Eegor in the house sells tickets. TRUTH.

EVEN SONIC DAY MANAGERS HAVE GROUPIES TOO
Good moment with the two young guns realizing where they've gotten to. The Murray "ring size" line had me thinking Hoosiers. Beachy is obviously doesn't have much filter between his brain and mouth. He's definitely cocky, but so is Murray. I think they're going to be a great team. The Beachy/Mueller/Beachy's mom situation has legs and obviously a feud between the two teams seems to be brewing.

DYNASTY DUST-UP
Trouble has been creeping to the surface in the Dynasty for some time now and I think it's about to rear its ugly head. Blaine isn't very dedicated to the HWC and Malik has been picking up steam as the main team member. He's always done most the heavy lifting, anyhow.

ANDERSON/BANDIT vs. THE ORIGINAL SHOWSTOPPERS
The two team match quickly transforms into a three-way as the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels w/ Shaniqua crashed the party immediately. Katz writes great highlight-style matches and this scuffle was no different. The big move comes in the form of Shaniqua bashing/turning on Saafir and allowing Malik to pick up the win for Anderson/Bandit. The Dynasty takes a hit in the form of losing Malik to Shaniqua. Where does Bandit end up in all this? Should be interesting. 187 are manager-less ... is that a first? Also, Fargo misses out on a chance at the Ebony Goddess. Looks like it's back to sloppy seconds with Beachy's mom at the Sonic!

DANE/STRIFE CONTRACT SIGNING LIVE!
They definitely had fun with it ... we finally get to see the match they've been talking about, which is always good.

CHADWICK: (looks at Castor, whispers harshly) "And I didn’t bring you NOTHIN’!"

I pee'd a bit after that line. Good stuff.

On to BRAWL 52 and RELOADED 12 - can't wait.

Re: Voss' Feedback of BRAWL: TAMPA

RE: DRS Managers
Biron, the DRS always went without a manager - Saafir was the loud and verbose mouthpiece of the team, until Shaniqua appeared. Shaniqua attracted to thugs, latched on to Muhammed and then led them down a road to NFW for the second time (the first was when they were here as part as the SDS - Seven Deadly Sins which also included the HWC!) to easily snatch up the tag belts and get in Calvin's way.

A big issue with the teams' success in NFW is that Shaniqua was involved at-all -Saafir has softened since being around her, and their team has probably suffered from it.

We'll have to see what happens with DRS and her after this recent turn of events.

Frankie Fargo is not pleased with his sweet Ebony Goddess' choice!

Also, since you've been lured out of hiding, who else was in SDS besides Prosser?

(Throws the Big Book of NFW onto the table, opens the spine, blows a dust cloud off)

Hmm...according to All-Star Night, Season 1:

O'CONNOR: "Avery Prosser leads them, the Hollywood Wrecking Crew - Malik Anderson and Blaine Hollywood, the Oblivion Express - 'Dr. Doom' Jeff Cummins and 'Railroad' Lionel Reese, and last but NOT least the Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - Saafir Muhammed and 187. We're talking about at least 1600 pounds of PURE EVIL that the league and certainly the NFW North will have to deal with..."

WILDSTAR: "Its downright scary, Kerry."

Three tag teams plus Prosser = 7
