As was seen live during SLAM 39 (available here), the closing moments of the Dynasty Cup tag team match between Myth and Legend and The Creede Brothers saw Mark Mercury viciously slam the younger Creede's head down against the steel steps ringside. The match was immediately halted by official Jerry Peterson who declared Ace Creede was unable to continue.
We now know that following the match and confrontation afterwards, Ace Creede was taken to the back where he was attended to by chief physician of the NBW, Dr. Randall Quest. During this time it was confirmed that Ace Creede had suffered a concussion, the severity of which remains unknown at this time.
While he was indeed responsive to questions and testing, Ace will be undergoing more extensive tests within the next couple of days.
As of this article's posting we can officially state that Ace Creede has been removed from the Pinnacle Rumble. His elder brother, who while was indeed attacked himself, remains healthy and is expected to be a part of the upcoming Pinnacle II ppv event, and participant within the Pinnacle Rumble.
We hope to have further information as it becomes available. Until then, keep your eyes on thenbw.com for the latest breaking news and announcements.
