However, I accidentally ripped our curtain rail off the wall in the bedroom, so given that we're going to get the landlord to fix it (a fair chunk of wall came with it... it's a big rail), much of my time for the next few days will be spent tidying the flat and making it look like we clean the place regularly.

I don't know why I say these things considering how much last minute insanity has happened around me recently.

I have my graduation tomorrow, so it'll be with you Saturday, as work can't call me in last minute then, thank god.

Nah, I did, I have a pretty BEng (Hons) after my name now and everything and had a great day with a lot of my family getting drunk and what not.

I thought there's no way I could be called in to work on a Sunday shift. Then I get called saying there's an illness and can I come in, also there's no one else to do it so you kinda need to come in.

Basically my part time job cut down pretty much all shifts to two people all week, a lot of people are on holiday just now, I'm not. So if someone is ill, I have a "choice" but not really about being called it. I get overtime but it's irksome.
