Here's the poop on IWF...

Marketing ideas for Mary-Lynn Mayweather vs PerfectionIn the new NAACP issue featuring a piece on a day in the life of Spooky Doom, the IWF executive says they are looking to the Twilight movie series to market Mary-Lynn Mayweather vs. Perfection at Chain Reaction #7. 'Think Team Edward vs. Team Jacob,' they said.

IWF wants Eddie Whisky back
Eddie Whisky says IWF is knocking on their door but they're staying put. When a fan asked Eddie Whisky if they would be showing up at IWF's Chain Reaction #7, they replied:
'Nope! I'm Happy Where I Am. No Chain Reaction #7 for Me!!! IWF Is Knocking On My Door, But I Won't Answer."
Earlier in the week, Eddie Whisky told Vizier ta Seti :
'I love cake. Except cheesecake'
Eddie Whisky also wished Mary-Lynn Mayweather much success in IWF, after making comments in the past about Mary-Lynn Mayweather using the Single-Arm DDT.

Vizier ta Seti on adapting to the IWF style of wrestling
Vizier ta Seti : I can say that I'm a better wrestler now that I'm in IWF because the way we work in IWF is totally different than what you see anywhere else. Here, we work with Imag-I-nation, and there's a reason for everything we do in the ring. Whether it's a Single-Arm DDT or a punch to the Knee, there's a reason for everything. Before I would do moves because Eddie Whisky drank the gate from our last show, but there's no carpenter's glue or anything. That's why I think I'm a better wrestler now.

"A day in the life of Spooky Doom" seems like a lovely title for a hype promo.

So I tried my hand. Bolding mine:

Backstage morale is said to be very bad in IWF these days. Some of the wrestlers who IWF used at the set of tapings before Chain Reaction 8 who weren't regulars have been telling friends that they couldn't believe how bad morale is in the company.

The general consensus behind the scenes is that many of the \"top names\" in IWF from the early 2000's era are simply working for to collect paychecks with little regard for the longterm direction or health of the company. Many of IWF's Women are afraid that they are either entering or in the middle of their athletic primes with no sign of their careers going anywhere. Many IWF stars are weighing their options and considering jumping ship when their contracts expire, even those who have been with the company from the beginning.

The majority of IWF's Women are completely fed up with Eddie Whiskey, Mary-Lynn Mayweather and Vizier T'Seti. The resentment towards Eddie Whiskey and Mary-Lynn Mayweather is that they have all the COCAINE necessary to bring real change to IWF, but haven't seemed to come up with any good ideas on their own. As for Vizier T'Seti, the Women has lost whatever confidence they had. Most wrestlers on the roster will openly say that IWF should have hired Kerry Kuroyama last year when they had the chance, because they wanted to focus the entire promotion on Women.

tried my hand at this...kind of funny.

Derrick Allen holds a meeting with Seattle Natives
Derrick Allen reportedly held a meeting with IWF talents on Tuesday before Chain Reaction 8, where he stressed that the Seattle Natives need to step up their games when it comes to telling stories in the ring. Apparently this is a common theme of Derrick Allen's in meetings. It's said that the Seattle Natives on Tuesday weren't very receptive to the speech as they've heard it all before. Scott Douglas asked the Seattle Natives if anyone had questions and nobody did. It was noted that Courtney Allen and sidekick Courtney Paz were the only two people not in attendance for the meeting.

UPDATE Courtney Paz trial
Courtney Paz's court case has been continued once again, PETA program administrator Derrick Allen told the court they needed until needed to finish Courtney Paz's evaluation but sources report that it's been pushed back again. Itlooks like the case might finally be coming to an end later this month. Courtney Paz was arrested a year ago for posession of several quantities of painkillers.

Rumours on Scott Douglas & Vizier ta seti tag team
Despite several botched attempts at establishing Scott Douglas and Vizier ta seti as a viable tag team, IWF officials are said to be committed to getting them over on Chain Reaction 8. The dynamic between Derrick Allen and Courtney Paz is being seen as a blueprint for what IWF will do with Scott Douglas and Vizier ta seti, with Vizier ta seti doing Scott Douglas’s dirty work for now and then eventually turning babyface and feuding with Scott Douglas

Update on Derrick Allen following Head related injury
Derrick Allen announced this evening on Facebook account that they had suffered a Head related injury and missed their scheduled matches in Seattle as a result. Despite loss of muscle function, they worked a match at tonight's Chain Reaction 8 taping, wearing a Thong while competing.

Derrick Allen on adapting to the IWF style of wrestling
Derrick Allen: I can say that I'm a better wrestler now that I'm in IWF because the way we work in IWF is totally different than what you see anywhere else. Here, we work with pride, and there's a reason for everything we do in the ring. Whether it's a Shooting Star Press or a punch to the Head, there's a reason for everything. Before I would do moves because I would blame it on my ADD, but there's no painkillers or anything. That's why I think I'm a better wrestler now.
