And the winner of EPW Show of the Year 2010... this one!

Some great matches, great segments, and a lot of really interesting stories coming out of it. I especially liked the pacing of this show, it had the Mega Event feel but didn't seem to be trying to go full-speed all night. Great work from everyone involved, and I'm looking forward to the next show :)

Re: Aggression 50 Feedback

Let's get the template out

Match of the Night

Wrestler of the Night

Face of the Night

Heel of the Night

Segment of the Night

Break-out Star of the Night

Line of the Night

And I'll fill it out

Match of the Night

Stevens/First- Told the story of First being the guy Stevens has trouble with, but First also can't get the belt off him, and Cruise getting revenge for his removal from Anthology and staking his claim to the main event is an interesting new dynamic.

Wrestler of the Night

Man, a packed crowd tonight, Stevens, Cruise, First all could win...But really my pick is Layne Winters, mostly because I enjoyed his rampage and I loved his his parts in the Brown Segment and his interactions with First and HOPE before and after the Main Event.

Face of the Night

The First, with Hart and Fusenshoff always lurking.

Heel of the Night

Winters, followed by Stevens

Segment of the Night

I loved every segment. I loved that Stevens had a Batmobile inspired car, since The First was wearing Joker face paint I marked when I saw that. His going over history was great with Stalker was great. Winters segments were epic, the HOPE thing at the end I felt everyone wrote good stuff.

Break-out Star of the Night

Heirs of Wrestling. Out of High Flyer, Michael Bastard, and HoW, HoW had the highest on the card opponents, and they won, hell they out-heeled Winters, my heel of the night...So they had to do something right.

Line of the Night

A tie between pretty much anything Winters said while beating the crap out of people and Anarky's final dig on The First.

"Nobody needs your permission to take what is theirs, kid. Someday you’ll understand that. Until then, enjoy your humiliation. Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll find something to blame your next failure on. You always do."

Overall thoughts

This was a big show and it felt big, yet at the same time it was designed to build towards Black Dawn as being the blow-off of things. Hart/Edmunds looks set for a re-match at the PPV. Stevens, First and Cruise will have two cards to map out what exactly Black Dawn's main event will be, who knows what Winters will be doing besides burning the company to the ground during all that, while I see the Heirs of Wrestling going for tag gold and Fusenshoff continuing to elevate himself.

Now let's get this joint card up and running so we can get moving again. ;)

Feedback to come but awesome show all around. Winters is your man of the hour, ready to continue choking *****es in the main event sooner than later.

Match of the Night

Gotta go with The First vs. Sean Stevens. These two threw everything but the kitchen sink, with run-ins by everybody including a kitchen sink at one point. I told Brunk this already, but this reminded me of the Triple H/Shawn Michaels feud from way back in 2003-2004 where Shawn had Triple H beat in his own hometown, only for the decision to fall to Triple H based on a technicality. When Sean couldn't beat The First straight-up, he used a technicality to win. And now with Cameron Cruise thrown into the mix and guiys like Anarky, Layne Winters, and even Shawn Hart throwing their names into the hat, it's looking to be some crazy **** in the EPW World Title scene.

Wrestler of the Night

Tie

Fusenshoff - defeated Karl "The Dragon" Brown and earned himself a very big win. I wrote that match and hopefully, I did both characters justice. If it sucked and they send hate mail... direct it to my name on the forums, LQJT86C.

And speaking of, other one has to go to Layne Winters. An upset forced him to go on the warpath, which I gotta say, was entertaining as all get-out. Winters is a ticking time bomb ready to explode and nobody is going to want a part of that when the powder keg on HOPE is ready to explode.

Face of the Night

The First- took Sean Stevens to the limit and walked away with the win, albeit not the one he wanted

Heel of the Night

Layne Winters and his path of destruction followed very closely by Sean Stevens getting himself disqualified to retain the championship.

Segment of the Night

The near total breakdown of HOPE. They may have the numbers as of last show with Larry Tact being fired, but Anthology came out smelling like roses, keeping the Tag Team Titles from a very game Fallen while Stevens retained his title. Nice preview of what's sure to come.

Break-out Star of the Night

Gotta give it to both Michael Bastard and High Flyer, each one coming off some pretty big singles wins. I mark for just about any HolzerCreation and Ford is awesome as always and a fellow n00b like myself. :p

Line of the Night

Didn't have a particular one that stuck out.

I put together a review on the blog: http://fusenshoff.blogspot.com

If you read it, you have to post a comment afterward. I don't make the rules.

Match of the Night I'm gonna go with Hart/Edmunds because it was well-written and sets up some potential with Edmunds attacking Hart at the end.

Wrestler of the Night The First who not only nearly beat the Champ, he also was the voice of reason in all the HOPE bickering.

Face of the Night Shawn Hart got a solid win over Edmunds and a nice IC Title defense.

Heel of the Night Winters was a one-man wrecking crew and really established himself backstage. Obviously he can back it up too.

Segment of the Night I really liked the Stalker/Stevens seg. I liked the transition between angles and the two stables forming an alliance.

Break-out Star of the Night It's a tie between the Heirs of Wrestling and High Flyer, both with huge wins. I also think Dishon put out a great showing. There's a hell of a lot of rookie talent right now.

Line of the Night I had to mark out when Winters did his best Sam Jackson impression...

WINTERS: COME ON YOU DUMB BASTARD! HIT ME AGAIN! YOU SHOULDA KNOWN BETTER; I AIN’T SEAN STEVENS! I AIN’T SHAKING ANY F[BLEEP]KING HANDS MOTHER[BLEEP]KER!

Also, on a side note- Dave, all I can read from your avatar is 'Sand? In my vagina?' Please post it here so we can all read the rest...
