MATCH OF THE NIGHT

Stalker/Daymon was a big time match. Straw always writes big time matches.

WRESTLER OF THE NIGHT

The First, sole survivor of War Games was pretty friggin' amazing, thanks for the honor.

FACE OF THE NIGHT

Shawn Hart, did everything I could to rally people to his side during his comeback attempt.

HEEL OF THE NIGHT

Stalker retires Daymon...That's pretty heeltastic

SEGMENT OF THE NIGHT

The poker game, which I will not comment on the poker played as per an agreement with Edmunds.

BREAK OUT STAR

I dunno who really fits this...Think everyone was pretty established...Sorry

LINE OF THE NIGHT

Rocko's speech at the end of Stalker/Daymon

Match of the Night
Wargames. Even though there wasn't a prolonged backstory going into this match this really had me gripped throughout, and was the perfect length to tell the story.

Wrestler of the Night
This is a toughie. After the first read-through I was tempted to give it to First, but I'm going to give this one to Stalker. I enjoyed his little rant at the end of the Last Man Standing and I thought there was more viciousness in him there than I've seen in a good long time.

Face of the Night
Rocko. He went out on a high and gave the fans a nice image at the end.

Heel of the Night
None of the heels really stood head and shoulders above the pack. I was a little surprised at that but I think it shows the depth and variety of the heels (and the difficulty in face/heel dynamics in matches like Wargames between two strong feds).

Segment of the Night
I never thought I'd see poker on a pro-wrestling show in a competitive manner. Then again with Sean involved in the card you never know what to expect, and once again the crazyness didn't disappoint.

Break-out Star of the Night
Michael Bastard and Steve Burke tie for this one.

Line of the Night
JIVE: “WHAT?!! I HAVE FORTY POINTS!!! 10 JACK QUEEN KING!! I WENT OUT!! THOSE ARE 10 POINTS EACH!”

(Behind Jive we see Tom Gheorghe physically restraining Dean Julius.)

JULIUS: “THIS IS POKER YOU DIP****… NOT RUMMY!!!”

Match of the Night
I thought all of the matches were solid and very well-written. Match of the Night goes to the Wargames Main Event just for its sheer star power. I thought Karl Brown vs. Entertainment takes a well-deserved honorable mention.

Wrestler of the Night
The First came up strong for EPW at the end of the Wargames match. He really shone as the star of the night. Shawn Hart gets honorable mentions.

Face of the Night
I'd give this to Shawn Hart. Though he came up short in the main event, he faced insurmountable odds, overcame the EPW World Heavyweight Champion, and had some of the best spots of the night. It really felt like he had the bulk of the fan support. Cameron Cruise gets honorable mentions.

Heel of the Night
I liked Mr. Entertainment heeling it up in his match with Karl Brown. Felt like a return to form for the character. "Triple X" Sean Stevens gets honorable mentions.

Segment of the Night
The poker competition between Matthews and Jive was classic.

Break-out Star of the Night
Layne Winters made a pretty big impact in the main event. I also felt Copycat and Steve Burke had pretty solid showings.

Line of the Night
Anything involving Neely ranting about wanting a full sweep over the New ERA team.
