Fantasy Football

Ok fellas, Fantasy Football season is coming closer and closer and for those that played last year. We have a slight problem. It seems that Fanball.com has stopped running the leagues for free. Now it's going to cost $9.95 for 2 teams. Now I don't have a problem paying the $10 to keep playing, but I want to know who's sticking with the league and is going to pay the $10 and who would rather I go to Yahoo or Sandbox and sign up for a free league there? The choice is yours.

I was in your league last season and although I enjoyed it (especially the format, keeper teams, etc.), I'm not too sure that I would want to pay in order to participate. The only reason I say this is because I am still a full-time college student and I am still attending wrestling school, so most of my money (which isn't much) goes towards those two ventures. I ran a yahoo league last season and it worked out just fine (EZ was in it). Therefore, I think the better economical choice would be to choose yahoo. If worse comes to worse, I may break down and scrap up $10 to throw in the league, but if you choose to run a yahoo league, then I think it would definitely be easier to find participants.

So all in all, my vote is for yahoo.

Yeah, you know...last year in the other Fanball league I was in they all decided to throw in $10 and give out cash prizes at the end. I couldn't get up the motivation to pay it then, and that was with the incentive of a cash prize to the winner. <g> ...So I really don't see me paying it for nothing. I say go with a free league also, as long as it's comparable in options and features as we're used to.

The GXWFL has moved to Yahoo. Though this can't be a keeper league, It's the best available. To join create a team and join a private league. League Name is GXWFL and the password is punt. There is a 12 team max. so get going

Once we get all 12 teams we'll change the draft format to a live draft. I advise that you still rank your players cause when your pick is up then your ranking of players will pick your player for you.
