I haven't enjoyed a GTA since the very first, top-down Playstation I Grand Theft Auto. I loved that game like it was a real person. Back when I had to explain to people that there was this game where you could carjack people and no-one believed me.

I've bought all the others (Except IV) and have maybe played 6 hours max of all of them combined, but loved VICE CITY the most, based on the nostalgia of the time period.

I had to fight the urge to copp V because I think this may be the one that I want to sink my teeth in, but... I just can't. NOT RIGHT NOW! I hope to reward myself with it for Xmas, when everybody is done with it.

And BREAKING BAD. I can't stop thinking about it and reading shit.

What's taking up your entertainment headspace lately? I guess this a share thread.

Oh Breaking Bad is absolutely fantastic. It makes me realize that television can be done RIGHT if networks allow it.

If you've not seen Breaking Bad, please, do yourself a favor and check it out on netflix RIGHT NOW.

When season 5 pt 2 started, I went back and rewatched the ENTIRE series before the third ep.

There is NOTHING on TV even CLOSE to it right now.

As for GTA V, I put in 13 hours, but tonight I have the decision. GTA or Breaking Bad?

It's not a decision. It's Breaking Bad. Gotta get my blue fix.

Although I will say, this is the first GTA I'm actually playing the story because it's engaged me. The missions don't feel repetitive, and it's very well laid out. Plus, considering they used Los Angeles as a template, living in the city has really made me want to just explore this environment. There's so much in that game that is just an amalgam of various locations in LA, it's scary.

Did you play LA NOIRE? I loved the setting, but I'm sure the locale pieces work better on someone who lives there.

I picked up GTA V on Sunday, but have yet to play. I'm going to try it in moderation - we'll see how that goes! Otherwise, I'm watching a lot of Big Bang Theory (catching up) and watching some old ECW PPVs that are on YouTube.

Unfortunately my Xbox has the red rings of ghonorrea, so Breaking Bad wins on default. Boardwalk Empire too.

Do they still let people send them in? My old XBOX got that - I was able to send it in, they repaired it for free (or gave me a new one ... can't remember), and sent it back. Maybe that was just older models though.

BOARDWALK is on my list. I probably won't get to it until it's wrapped and over.

Have you seen the pre-order on the full BB collection? It's like 250 bucks and comes in a black drum.

I don't think they still get RRODs since they changed to the black ones  There's mom & pop game shops here that can fix anything... I'm sure you have those too.

I haven't seen Breaking Bad or played GTA.

Has anyone else noticed that the WWE has been amazing lately? Like, the best it's been since the peak of the Attitude Era? And maybe even better because they don't have faces hitting women or borderline porn?

I keep a arms' length with WWE. I've been following things - but not diehard.

I call my watching style "RAW IS DVR". I think I didn't record yesterday.

That's probably because they're trying to use the same storyline from that era. Except trading an anti-hero beer drinker for a beard wearing vegan. Seriously.

COME ON, MAN!

Now, this is in NO WAY a slam on Bryan who I think is doing well w/ the cards handed him, but the "evil owner" just doesn't work for me, at least not as its played. Bryan isn't Austin. McMahon/Austin worked because of what they each represented. Bryan is an outsider, much like Austin, but he's a different type of one. Personally, I would've played this differently, using some "cool heels" to be Bryan's foils (Ziggler springs to mind, but you could probably choose a few others). That way, Bryan could be the outcast from the cool crowd. I'd play on some of the history w/ the Clique and still have HHH involved in some capacity.

But that's just me.

The setting of LA Noire kept me interested when the story didn't. But I just never got into that game. Played about half of it though. It's a much more closed off version of GTA. Like they tried to combine GTA with Phoenix wright.

As to Gregg and WWE, I haven't been able to keep up with it. I am at a point where I delete the raw from four weeks ago every Tuesday from the DVr.

There's some decent stuff going on w/ WWE. I agree with Warren that the evil owner is played out for WWE - especially since nobody will ever be able to one up what Vince did. I do like what they're doing to Big Show though. CM Punk and Bray Wyatt are great. Daniel Bryan is a good watch. I don't watch much, maybe an hour from a show, but there's definitely been improvement.

I fired up GTA V last night - didn't get far, but it looks good.

I've actually reverted and fired up the CLASSIC CLASSIC Grand Theft Auto (PSX) on my laptop.

That was always my favorite anyway.

The best part of the game - was that there were no 'do-overs' that broke the narrative. If you were given a mission and you screwed it up - it was one and done, you'd have to find another way to get paid.

The 3D GTAs broke that and instantly ruined the games for me. If you got WASTED! during a mission, when you got out of the hospital - WOOP! TRY AGAIN! Ugh.

I've only gotten through about two and a half episodes of Breaking Bad, believe it or not - though I do want to make time to watch the series.

As for WWE, I've actually become an NXT mark more than with Raw or Smackdown (SD I haven't watched in years, I don't think). Sami Zayn (formerly El Generico), y'all - he's tearing it up right now.
