So, here's the deal.

The DVD show will be going out in the next few days.

With that, we'll have more storyline information released.

The WAYstation will be the only way for the train to get metaphorically running. There's no way cards (short or long) will come out without people chipping in for the matchwriting. I've devised the WAYstation as a creative alternative to make the painstaking part of a fed running a little more fun.

The immediate plan is to do a round of house shows and then a little bigger of a show. Ease our way in. The bigger show won't be of Crash proportions, but will highlight 1-2 matches in either highlights or complete long-form. That may depend on how it all works out.

I'm figuring we'll need at least 5-6 matches written by non-staff. These all can be short-form, I'm fine with that.

So, until 5 matches (long or short) signed via the WAYstation, we won't start.

Keep in mind there are various ways to get matches signed. You can find a person you want to face in one forum (The Saloon), you can suggest a match with characters you don't own and get your own character's match written by someone else...in the signed matches forum. (High Noon) If you planned something via IM/PM/email, then just post in the signed matches High Noon area.

I'm not pushing off the cardwriting onto everyone, but as we've all come to realize...if it's more than a certain % on me, we may as well hold 4 huge cards a year. I'm also not doing away with open-styled RP threads where anyone can compete. But we're going to need to keep things smaller in scope, when necessary. It will also make those open events much more important.

If anyone has any questions or Molotov Cocktails, have at it. I'm ready.

So...

Does nobody understand what to do?

Does nobody care?

Does nobody want to write matches? Short-form matches can be 3 sentences, it's not that hard.

Whatever the deal is, we need to start discussing it.

Bottom line: If I'm only going to have one volunteer to write matches, this fed will need to go through some drastic changes. Essentially, never expect more than 2-3 matches per show...which in turn means, never expect to RP that much. It sucks, but that's the way it will have to be to put out shows once a month. More volunteering/planning = more matches = more RP.

I'm back for 22 hours before going off for my final week of Army-related fun (note the sarcasm), but I think I could do something here.

Considering I'm from Singapore, the US Army is a stretch. :p

I've got a live firing exercise on Sunday and a trip into the jungles next week. I'll be back FOR EFFIN GOOD next weekend. :)

Thanks to everyone who got matches signed.

I think we're ready to roll out the tour(s) very shortly. The WAYstation matches will be the showcased matches for those events.

Please continue to use the area or I'll have to start this type of thread EVERY time we run through a cycle of shows. The more we can keep things perpetually moving, the less I have to admin/post about getting matches signed.
