I have a confession to make. My heart really hasn't been in this for awhile now. The match you just read was Michael Bastard's last for the foreseeable future. It's also my last e-fed match for at least awhile now. I'd like to say that if this the last time I'm here as an active handler, it's been fun. EPW (and A1E and NFW and NEW and AWC and ACW and MBE and LVW and CSWA and UXW and TEAM) have all been indelible parts of my life, and e-fedding in general has provided me with some good memories and better friends.

The last thing I wanna do though, is get all schmaltzy, because who knows, I may be back some day. And if I am? It'll more than likely be here or in A1E, which a bunch of you have been in or are in now anyway. But if not, I just wanna say it's been a hell of a ride. Thanks to Brunk for thinking I had some talent and giving me a big stage to shine, and thanks to everyone who's pushed me over the years to be a better writer and handler.

And I'm not really going anywhere far. I'm still on Facebook, Twitter (@tholzerman) and I got that wrestling blog that I write. But I just won't be handling in an e-fed for the time being.

So, yeah, so long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu and such. Thanks for everything and keep the ship running as smoothly as it is now. It's not one of the best feds, if not the best, I've ever been in for nothing, y'know?

Let me also add, in case there's ANY doubt, that Tom let me know about this quite a long time ago - I want to cut any "this is because he lost" talk off right off the bat.

That said, Tom's one of the best, and has done a hell of a lot for the hobby in and out of this particular e-fedding community. Sorry to see him go, but glad he was part of EPW history. His characters are all over the EPW record books.

Thanks, Tommy. :)

Later, Tom. You are, perhaps, one of the most influential handlers I've ever experienced. Your dissection of story and character in order to find what makes professional wrestling GOOD has been nothing short of enlightening to me as a handler.

I really do hope you come back, in time. I think you'll find that as you continue to watch wrestling develop, your mind will just come up with new ideas that will leave you begging to try them out. I don't doubt that a brawling badass like Michael Bastard was one such example.

Anyway, I'll still be tuning in to your blog. As they say in this business, "Good luck in all of your future endeavors."

Listen, Brett Favre, we all lose sometimes, you can't just quit because you drop the IC belt.

Hahahaha nah I'm just kidding. You'll be missed, but I suspect, sooner or later, that bug is gonna bite you again and we'll see you before too long has passed. In the meantime, best of luck with the blog and all of your various projects and hope to see you back in FW real soon.

I know the feeling when you need to step away. I hope it's not permanent and you'll find the desire to step back into the active FW circle, Tom! Until then, another unique and successful Holzerman creation to be remembered, and I'll keep getting my regular wrestling blog fix with TWB. Thanks for your creative insights.

Sorry to see you go Tom, you have been one of my favorite handlers because of your creativity. I wish you the best.
