Re: EPW PRESENTS: KING OF THE CAGE: TAG TEAM EDITION

I reckon he would have ended up in the tournament regardless, but you can throw Aaron Jones into the fray.

Re: EPW PRESENTS: KING OF THE CAGE: TAG TEAM EDITION

Here's a quick look at the signups in this thread so far.

KEEP IN MIND: If you are already in EPW and don't sign up, I'd like to be honest, I'm probably throwing you into the lethal lottery anyway. Bottom line is, this is what we're doing next cycle. If you insist on not being part of the tourney, that's fine, but the emphasis will undeniably be on this tournament and the fallout from each round.

The list:

Singles

Alceo Dentari

Oblivion

Teddy Alexander

Sam Turner, Jr.

Malcolm Joseph-Jones

Impulse

The First (c)

Boogie Smallz

Paladin (Kendall Codine Jr.)

Aaron Jones

Sean Stevens

Larry Tact

Steven Shane

Cameron Cruise

Teams

The Animezing Dragons (cc) (Karl Brown & Otaku)

World’s Longest Tag Team (Rich Mahogany & Pete Whealdon)

Los Luchas Frescas (Fishman Deluxe & Mascara De Muerte IV)

The Heat Seakers (Curtis Penn & Tyson Burke)

Dirk Dickwood Presents (Cecilworth Farthington & Hank)

Team Viagra (High Flyer & Tony Davis)

The Mexi-CATS (El Gordo Grande & Pedro the Camera Guy)

Politically Incorrect (William S. Powell & Reginald V. Lovecraft)

TBA (Michel LaLiberte & “The Last Nighthawk” Christian Light)

The Sons of Tradition (Pat Gordon, Jr. & Shane Rothenstein)

The Stone & Steel Syndicate (“The Jersey Devil” Troy Matthews & Alex “The Sentinel” Markham) – Saori Kazama (manager)

South and Central American Renegades of Fire (SCARF) (Umpiro & Big Dave Barista)

Point of View

Rezin & Anarky (c)

The Dreamstealers

The Wolves of the Sea

If there are any corrections that need to be made to the above, let me know.

Re: EPW PRESENTS: KING OF THE CAGE: TAG TEAM EDITION

The threads have been merged and the full current list is in the post preceding this one.

Here's how the set-up will work:

- 24 teams

- Three brackets of eight teams

- The Final will be a triple threat match

- All matches will be in a cage

- Win by pin, submission or cage escape. If the match is a World Tag Team Title Match (IE, the champs are your opponent), you can only win the titles by pin or submission. A cage escape wins the match, but not the titles

- The first round will consist of 12 matches. The first six will be on Aggression 68. The second six will be on Aggression 69. The full second round will be on Aggression 70. The full third round will be on Aggression 71, and the finals will be on Aggression 72 for the right to main event the PPV.

I will be drawing the lethal lottery pairings tonight, as well as the bracket pairings and sending the information to Ford and to Stanton for reveal on the Thursday night podcast.

The current plan is to begin roleplay next Monday, August 20th.
