Wrestler(s) Information
Please take note of a couple things. It is highly likely that a few roster members will critique your moveset. Please don't be offended. We take that shit seriously here - we don't want a moveset full of finishers and a finisher so ludicrously over-elaborate that it couldn't be done in real life. This goes double if you're applying as a female wrestler. We also check to make sure your finisher(s) and theme song aren't currently being used. It's first come first serve when it comes to those.
And if you're one of those handlers who hates doing movesets, just say so and Jeff will do it for you.

Ring Name: Jimmie “The Southern Sling” Rix
Height: 6’0
Weight: 215
Hailing From: Stephenville, Texas
Alignment: Face
Gimmick: Jimmie Rix grew up on his father’s well established ranch just outside of Stephenville Texas. A ranch hand who would help wrangle livestock, Jimmie, became proficient in pistol shooting and marksmanship which would later earn him the name “The Southern Sling” for his trademark of speed of removing a revolver from the holster and fanning it towards his target.

His time on the ranch was spent wrestling with other hands for fun and laughs. But when his father passed Jimmie had decided that there were bigger dreams he wanted to pursue having given the ranch to his younger brother to run.

After leaving all that he knew, Jimmie began circuit wrestling around Ft. Worth making his way to larger venues but never on a professional level.

In his early thirties now the window of opportunity is closing and having been in the business ten years now and never breaking through he is often called the “Indy Veteran” by other wrestlers in his circle.

Wrestling Style: Jimmie isn’t the fastest wrestler or the strongest. He’s a brawler, a guy who wants to go punch for punch. Nothing more than a few old school moves- he’s a traditionalist. Very keen to chain wrestling.

Three Weaknesses:
1) Lack of Professional Experience- This is his first time in the more pro divisions. Having wrestled independent and not receiving real proper training, Jimmie is behind the curve. He can hold his own, but blunders and being overzealous catch him more often than not. This includes a lack of ring presence.

2) Lack of Agility- He can be outworked, outran, and outmaneuvered. Put a high flyer in the ring with Jimmie and they will run circles around him, put a well-conditioned wrestler in the ring, they will outlast Jimmie. He isn’t the buff, tough, rough son of a bitch we see this day and age. Just a normal guy, undefined trying to make it.

3) Glass Jaw – “The Southern Sling” can pack a punch with that right hook of his, but tag him on the button back and it’s lights out. You won’t see a match that takes two or three finishers to put Jimmie out, Average Joe (Jim) is Average Joe (Jim).

Three Strengths:
1) Punches in Bunches – The Rix can hit, and when he does he hits hard. Having trained lightly on the ranch in boxing and being a general brawler his main offense (and defense really) is the one-two to his opponents mouth. It’s also leaves him vulnerable because of how much he does depend on it.

2. The Unbreakable Lock – Having worked as a wrangler on the ranch Jimmie has some powerful hands, this allows him to hold onto submission locks fairly longer than his opponents- he is known to yank a competitor grabbing the ropes and drag them back to center ring with force to reapply locks.

3. Raging Bull - Hulkamania hulks up, Jimmie Rix see's red. When "The Southern Sling" reaches a point of frustaration he usually throws a basket full of wild punches, kicks, and forearms to his opponent. Damage is high but it blows him up, gassing him out faster. Positive is that during this moment of fit he can take a few good shots with out going down.

MOVESET

Ten regular moveset moves:
1) Headlock Takedown
2) Arm Drag into Wristlock
3) Belly to Back Suplex
4) Fireman’s Cary Takedown
5) Hammer Lock to Front Leg Trip
6) Shoulder Thrusts (in corner)
7) Throat Punch
8) German Suplex
9) Snap DDT
10) Hiptoss

2-5 trademark moves:
1) Standing Vertical Suplex
2) Spinebuster Slam
3) Forearm Smashes (while on top of an opponent)
4) Drop Toe Hold to STF

1 Finishing Move: Culling the Herd – Front Face Lock

Seeing as I've only just been accepted myself, I hope nobody thinks I'm overstepping myself by voting. I like the application and I think a good old fashioned babyface is good to have around. I'd say yes.

Sorry I took so long, but welcome to DEF!

PM me a desired login and password for the website and I'll get you hooked up.

Do up a micro-description in the proper thread and we'll get you a cute little picture of your dude.

Hey, did we ever get a backstage login for Jimmie Rix's handler? I'm updating the website and noticed he's not in backstage yet.

EDIT: We're all set now.
