Results:

I went ahead and recorded the results of my cards so far. These are after the "playtesting" days, where everyone has the same stats as those who purchased the game. All of it was legit a part of the game, the most surprising being the ending (I didn't have a clue that a battle royal would be on the card, but it made the most sense when one of the matches started with a Wild Card).

Card 1

Card 1 – Rating +4

JW welcomes the fans to the first ever show. Steed interrupts and runs down JW for the poor accommodations in the back (the snacks aren’t filling enough). Napoleon Drake comes out to defend JW and put Steed in his place.

Steed vs. Napoleon Drake – 8 minute Counter-fest! Drake proved to be a tough guy, even when spotlights found BATT in the rafters above the ring and he got a bit distracted. During the match, Mark Maverick came down to refocus Drake but it was too little too late as Steed hit his finisher. And Napoleon kicked out! But a heavy running powerslam ended the match one move later leading to Steed mouthing off at Mark and making an example out of Drake, or trying to, until Mark made the save and Steed ducked and ran.

Ivy League & Eldar Magnusson vs. LE & XS – 16 minutes. After an initial flurry of offense that took Eldar out, coupled with Sands of Pain coming down to watch the “first tag match” and mouthing off to Eldar, the Ivy League made a match of it. Eli tagged in but was stymied by the LE’s tag expertise. However, when JW came out and announced he wanted the match to be a “no DQ”, the Ivy League went to work as only they can. Eli ended the match with a count out after executing a reverse DDT to Ethan Hale on the stairs outside the ring.

Xerxes is in the backstage area talking to some of the workers. He’s asking about BATT, but no one will talk about him. Xerxes gets frustrated and says that he needs to know where BATT’s lair is, and if this BATT is the one. Drake comes back, still hurting from his match, and says he’s fought BATT for years and though he’s not seen him here, he knows it’s the only one who’d dare wear that mask. Anyone less would get killed. As they leave, BATT stares down at Xerxes from the rafters.

Peyton Lake vs. Tiburon – 5 ½ minutes. The old-school master, Peyton Lake, entered the arena demeaning Lucha Libre style (and the fans). Tiburon interrupted him, or his music did, and wasted no time in starting the match. Peyton opened by showing off a bit, going for 2 quick pin attempts that Tiburon kicked out of. Tiburon didn’t get off his game though, he overwhelmed Lake, at least until he went for his finisher. Lake moved (or used the referee to help him move) and Tiburon fell outside the ring. The ref was out. Lake uncharacteristically went out of the ring and did some damage before tossing Tiburon back in the ring and putting on his finisher, the Cobra Clutch. It took several rounds for a replacement ref to make it into the ring. By the time the ref did, Tiburon was out of it. When the ref checked, it seemed an elementary ending but Tiburon got his hand up at the last moment. Peyton locked it in tighter though and Tiburon had nothing left in the tank but a failed final attempt.

Sands of Pain assaulted Ivy League in the back yelling about how the Sands of Pain should’ve been in the first official tag offering, not these kids. Alpha Dawn made the save and the brawl led to the refreshment stand being emptied and wrestlers scattering everywhere, leading to a bigger brawl. We cut to...

Jamiliah Creed vs. Nigel Hawthorne – Match never gets started. Sands of Pain’s riot explodes down the rampway and into the ring as seemingly everyone from the back is entering for a major war. JW comes out and tells the crowd that he was going to save this surprise for later, but since everyone is in the ring now, he’ll move his timetable up.

JW: This new circuit needs a champion, and the only way to decide that is in the ring. The board has already ok’ed a concept, round robin style tournament, with people earning points for victories – 2 points for a pin or submission and 1 point for a victory via count out or DQ, with the top 2 point getters challenging for the title in 12 weeks at Origins. However, if we’re going to start this tournament early, we need to start big. 5 points will go to the winner of this… battle royal! And since it was the tag teams that started it, if one of them wins the battle royal, they’ll get to pick their opponent for next week’s Circuit Tag Team championship match.​

Battle Royal – Steed was a machine in this matchup, staving off multiple attempts to eliminate him and frequently turning the tables on his opponents. He eliminated exactly ½ of the competitors in this battle royal (including fellow Main Event caliber competitors in Deacon and Mark Maverick). But as it got near the end, the tag teams seemed to have survived. Yasir of the Sands of Pain and both members of Alpha Dawn (Afano & Ayasha) were among the final 5 (w/ a surprising Peyton Lake rounding out the group). In the final flurry, Afano and Ayasha got the last laugh on their Sands of Pain enemy and then turned their attention on the dangerous Steed. With some quick double team moves, they were on their way to getting a free shot (and picking their opponent’s) for the tag titles until Peyton Lake caught Afano from behind and sent him outside the ring. Steed thanked Peyton for the help by sending the elder Lake over the top leaving only Steed and Ayasha. The Native American, Ayasha, made a run, but Steed proved that he was the MWC’s most dominant force when he tossed the last competitor out to gain 5 points and an early lead in the Point’s series.

Card 2 Rating: 0

Show opens with Steed commandeering the ring, calling JW out, and telling him that he should just give Steed the first spot in the World title match. JW refuses, introducing Steed to his first opponent – Eldar Magnusson.

Steed vs. Eldar – (4 minutes) Steed got control early on, but Eldar did a massive counter and then hit Steed with several power moves until the LE come down, taking Eldar off his game and emboldening Steed to take back over, winning the match with finisher.

In the back, Alpha Dawn is discussing their missed opportunity from last week. As they do, Sands of Pain arrives and make some crap with them. If this isn’t enough, the Ivy League arrives and it becomes an even tenser moment until JW arrives and tells the teams that everyone is going to get a chance at the tag championships, starting tonight. Each team will face the other in a 3 round round robin tournament with the finals taking place at their special show (the 5th show and final in this cycle). Just like the World title tournament, the top 2 teams will be put in the main event and the top point getter will get to pick the stipulation for the match.

Sands of Pain vs. Ivy League (less than 1 minute). Eli took control of Yasir from the onset, did a power move and then slapped on his finisher. Habib came in for the save and in the resulting chaos, everyone was in the ring and the ropes broke, ending the match in a no contest. The tag scenes chaos continues.

Jammy vs. Drake – (3:30 minutes) Jammy started strong, but Drake’s toughness kept him in the game until he got a counter and then overwhelmed Jammy with the Traplex that left everyone in the arena wondering if Jammy would be left sillier than he normally was, a full 45 points OVER Jammy’s END score.

Alpha Dawn is in back prepping for their match against the LE. Grant and Ethan enters their room. Ethan lets them know how much he admired their work in the battle royal, ALMOST making tag wrestling the focus of the MWC. But they shouldn’t worry, where Alpha Dawn failed, the LE won’t.

Maverick vs. Peyton Lake – (4:30 minutes) Peyton stayed in the match with a series of counters and because his experience allowed him to avoid any of Mark’s BIG moves. But in the end, Mark got a facedriver and the pin, but he had to work for it.

Xerxes is in the back still on the hunt for BATT. As he looks, someone comes up behind him and scares the life out of him. But it’s not BATT, it’s his 1st opponent in the tournament, Nigel Hawthorne. Nigel makes fun of Xerxes jumpiness and assures him that if Xerxes is worried about anyone in a mask, saying that Xerxes must be scared of Contessa as well. When he leaves, Xerxes takes a deep breath and leaves as well, as BATT watches from above.

Deacon vs. Tiburon – (23 seconds) 2 moves and Deacon grabbed 2 points in the tournament. After a poor showing in the Battle Royal, he was ready to remind everyone why he had been listed at the top of the card.

In the back, Sands of Pain and the Ivy League are in an argument that nearly comes to blows, at least until JW arrives and tells all of them that they will get a match tonight, in the main event, and it’ll be in a steel cage.

LE vs. Alpha Dawn (10:21) Alpha Dawn owned it early on, but a bump that took out the referee put the match squarely in LE’s favor with both interference from their manager and some special double team moves. Grant hit his patented Superkick to get the pin and end the match, just as the new ref entered.

Tsunami vs. XS – (6:05) The youthful XS started fast, getting a quick (and surprising) counter followed by a Signature move that shocked everyone in the crowd when he almost got a 3 count. He continued to hang in, at least until Tsunami got a counter of his own that turned a springing moonsault into a driven backbreaker on XS. Tsunami’s finisher ended it, so much so that not even XS’ valets dared try to keep this match going.

Xerxes vs. Hawthorne (11:41) The match went back and forth, with Xerxes powering his way forward only to be countered when he’d get near pulling off his finisher, made more frustrating as BATT roamed free above the ring, spotlights following him and drawing the crowd’s (and Xerxes) attention. At the 10 minute mark, JW entered telling everyone that this was the match of the night and the victor would receive 1 extra point. It wasn’t much longer than that when Hawthorne did a devastating top rope knee drop and grabbed the pin.

Tag team Cage match – Ivy League vs. Sand’s of Pain – McGinnis got one move off and then was surprised by Yasir, who ended the match in short order, garnering the Sands of Pain and the LE an early lead in the tag Round Robin.

Card 3 Rating: +4

Show opens with Nigel Hawthorne in the ring goading the crowd. He talks of how everyone has been talking about Steed’s lead in the World Title tournament, but right now, Hawthorne put on the best match and though his points aren’t as much as Steed, he has already put himself into position to face Steed for that title. All is good until Jamiliah Creed’s music hit and Jammy stepped through the curtain. He reminded Hawthorne that they never did get their match, but they’re going to tonight where Jammy can get his first 2 points and if Nigel got a bonus point for last week’s match, Jammy’s going to get 5 bonus points for what he’s going to do to Hawthorne.

Nigel Hawthorne vs. Jamiliah Creed (1:05). Hawthorne played the classic heel, keeping Jammy from getting any moves off, and when the referee stopped Jammy, Nigel slipped an eye rake, quick slam, and quickly moved in for his finisher, causing Jammy to tap out quickly. Not exactly what anyone anticipated.

Eli Flair (of the Ivy League) and Afano (of Alpha Dawn) are in the locker room. Neither are talking, just taping off their wrists and getting in the zone. Eli gets up and stretches his neck before walking passed Afano as the camera fades.

Ivy League vs. Alpha Dawn (4:22) Afano got early control but Eli did a counter that nearly knocked him cold. Eli followed that by quickly slapping on his finisher, forcing Ayasha to make the save, forcing McGinnis (Mr. Self Destruct) to jump in the ring and force both of them to tussling outside the ring (lots of force, huh?). Eli must’ve thought it was a good idea cause he sent Afano out there as well, whipped Afano into the security railing and then sent a big boot that knocked Afano into the crowd. Eli followed with another whip into the railing then an Overhead belly to belly suplex where Afano hit the concrete and barely made the ref’s 10 count. Eli went for finisher again, but Afano countered out, getting a submission of his own until Eli got to the ropes for the break and Afano locked on a Straight-Jacket suplex with a bridge for the pin and victory.

Steed vs. Peyton Lake (10 seconds) After last week’s near-war w/ Mark Maverick, Peyton got caught immediately with a running shoulder in the corner which hurts a lot worse from Steed than most anyone else. The elder Lake collapsed to the ground unable to continue, Steed getting the easy pin and yet another 2 points.

Steed takes the microphone and runs down Lake, reminding everyone of how hard it was for Maverick to finish him. “Why am I even out here? Is that the best the MWC can offer? I’ve been slapped harder by B-movie actresses in the bedroom than what I’m getting here. And who do I get next week – Tiburon? The Mexican luchador who was changing his kid brother’s diapers and wearing them as a mask when I was dominating his sport in Mexico? Just sign me up for the World title at Origins and be done with this stupidity.” Tiburon comes out, pointing at Steed before getting in the ring and the referee calling for the bell for the next match…

Eldar Magnusson vs. Tiburon – (6:01) Tiburon took early control and got one of the closest “near pinfall” attempts ever, but when Eldar did get out of the bind, he took that power straight at Tiburon. He got a power move of his own, and even his finisher, but Tiburon kicked out of the splash and went on to regain control of the match. Tiburon went for his finisher, missed, and that was the beginning of the end as Eldar did 2 power moves and put Tiburon down for the count.

After the match, Tiburon lay there trying to recover as Steed entered the ring, verbally throwing him down. Tiburon struggled to his feet, still staggering, when Steed knocked him down again with a Stampede. Deacon and Napoleon Drake left the gorilla position and ran Steed out of the ring before turning to one another and with a nod, asking for the bell to ring.

Deacon vs. Napoleon Drake – (3:52) Deacon got early control, only to get countered, then countering out of Drake’s attempt. It went that way for the first minute or so until Deacon hit a strong move, and got a 2 count. He followed that with a Chokeslam that got a closer 2 count and shocked everyone in the arena, but the Deacon knew what to do – one more chokeslam and he called it a night.

Steed was in the back complaining about Deacon and Drake trying to steal his thunder, getting in the backstage reporters face when Mark Maverick’s Barroom Brawl segment began and Mark called Steed out. Incensed, Steed went to the ring, or started to, before Mark leapt over the top rope and crashed down on top of him. A fight ensued, not ending until Mark knocked Steed completely out by “Givin’ the horns” on the ringsteps. All of which segued nicely to…

Maverick vs. XS – (8:05) Maverick hit one of the hardest opening hits ever. By all rights, XS wasn’t even in the same timezone after this one, but his ladies saved the day. Mark didn’t slow up, but was able to maintain control until Donna got in the ring and tore at his eyes while Prima and Muse keep the ref at bay. It didn’t last long, as Mark was able to hit a counter that led to the ending of the match.

Segment with Xerxes finding Tsunami and telling the Japanese legend how much he hates wrestlers in masks. He’s wasted 2 weeks focused on finding BATT. He’s not making that mistake tonight, he has no eyes for anyone but Tsunami Shiretsu. Unfortunately, BATT is watching.

Tsunami vs. Xerxes – The match barely got started when the arena went black. The lights turned back on and BATT was standing in the middle of the ring, barbwire wrapped cane in hand. Xerxes is knocked out and Tsunami is missing.

The LE vs. Sands of Pain (12:24) – Yasir & Ethan Hale started off. Though their styles clearly clashed, it ended up with a series of counter moves, counter to counter, and so on. Ethan would get control, sometimes sizably so, and at one point got Yasir down, forcing Habib to come in for the save (and Grant Essex to knock both of them outside of the ring). Alpha Dawn entered the ringside area at this point, but didn’t involve themselves in the matchup, just studying their opponents. Inside the ring, Ethan kept going, even getting his top rope sunset flip finisher option, but Yasir did kick out of that and another flurry of counters happened until Yasir powered with a devastating slam before tagging in Habib. Habib had control from the point of entering the ring, and should’ve gotten a pin if not for the LE’s manager, William H. Bradley III getting the ref’s attention (and getting a roll of quarters to Ethan who plastered Habib with it). The ref turned around and seen an exhausted Ethan covering Habib. Yasir went to make the save but it was too little too late. The ref made the count and the LE are in the lead heading into an important next bout.

Warren Note: Sorry for the delay. Between working LOTS of hours and trying to prepare the Origins expansion, it took me a bit to get back to actually playing the game. Glad to have finally made it over that hump!

Card 4 Rating: +6

“Where were you?” JW asked.
Tsunami didn’t respond. Maybe he didn’t understand. Maybe he didn’t care. Regardless, after BATT interrupted Tsunami’s match with Xerxes, bloodying Xerxes with a barbed wire wrapped Singapore Cane, Tsunami was completely missing.
“I need to do something with BATT,” JW continued, “and I need to do it tonight because he’s messed up my tournament, something I can’t have in crowning the first champion.
Tsunami stared blankly at JW, got up, cracked his neck, then left.
“And I need to do something with that missing match in the tournament. Tsunami vs. Xerxes needs to happen, but they’re already wrestling tonight.”
“You could main event them after they face Jammy and Mark,” Mercedes said.
“Or I could do something I’ve never tried before,” JW said with a smile.

Peyton Lake vs. XS (16 seconds)– In a shocking turn of events, the Professor Peyton Lake did a counter and quick steamroll slam to get a pin. Even XS’ entourage couldn’t believe it when the ref’s hand smacked the mat for the 3rd time. Experience slaughtered youth in this bout!

Segment – BATT is in the back, but this time, he’s watching JW’s assistant, Mercedes Devon.

LE vs. Ivy League (14:54) – And the shocks in the ring kept coming. Undefeated LE was facing a winless Ivy League. The match, in many respects, went as expected. Eli Flair continues to carry most of the match, taking the brunt of the punishment and the lion’s share of dishing it out. The LE did what they did best – Ethan taking more punishment than anyone that small has any right to be taking and Grant coming in to get things handled so the tagging advantage they almost always have can be used against their opponent. But when the ring ropes broke, that changed everything. Next thing you know, the LE’s finisher is hampered. The chaos led to an opportunity for Mr. Self Destruct to bring a table in the ring and put Grant into it. Ethan was in the ring and put in Eli’s submission Finisher. He was done for, it appeared, until Grant made the save, leading to both he and Self Destruct tussling on the floor. Eli then went for finisher again but Ethan squirreled out of it, landing a quick offensive move and then Eli avoiding a splash and when Ethan started to get up, punting Ethan in the face for the unbelievable 3 count.

Eldar Magnusson vs. Napoleon Drake – 11 minutes with a great back and forth, much better than expected for Eldar (with both men currently tied in the standings, this was a pretty important match). Ref got knocked out early. Extreme action happened galore. And BATT showed up. Drake got a finisher off and was making the cover when BATT pulled him out of the ring. Did a bit of damage, the referee didn’t give the DQ, probably because the damage was nothing that was that difficult for Drake to overcome once in the ring again. Once again, Drake got the upper hand, got his finisher, and BATT came in the ring with a weapon. BATT swung it. Drake got out of the way. It hit Eldar, and this time, the referee gave the DQ victory to Eldar, garnering him 1 point for the victory (and the lead over Napoleon Drake).

Segment – Napoleon Drake hits JW’s office door, incensed over what BATT just did. He wants BATT, and if that means everyone of the rest of his matches is a Triangle match with BATT as the 3rd opponent, he’s plenty fine with that. JW says to chill out, he’s on it and will have a plan for BATT very soon.

Deacon vs. Nigel Hawthorne – 30 seconds. Deacon started out going straight at Nigel, but the wiley technician countered, got a move off, but Deacon was back up, the move barely stunning the Deacon. But barely counted as Nigel took advantage with a simple schoolboy (and maybe a pull of the tights) and a surprise 3 count.

Segment. JW Announces his plan for the main event. Starts as a Tag team match. First person pinned is out of the match. Person doing the pin/submission (or the other legal person if DQ is reason that person is out) gets the point(s). Match morphs to a triple threat, elimination style. Each pin gives more point(s). Overall winner also gets 1 additional point.
Steed comes out to complain about this unfair ruling. “But Steed,” JW says, “you’d best not worry about the main event that you’re not involved in, and worry about your opponent coming out… now.

Steed vs. Tiburon (45 seconds) – But the match itself didn’t offer much. Tiburon did get a reversal, but in whipping Steed into the corner and going for a splash, he got ran over with the Stampede instead.

Sands of Pain vs. Alpha Dawn (1:22) – Yasir got the early advantage, but Ayasha’s film study had paid off and he hit a counter outta nowhere that took Yasir’s head off! Yasir did kick out, but Ayasha kept it going with a serious neckbreaker. Habib had seen enough, rushing into the ring and attacking Ayasha, and getting the Sands of Pain DQ’ed. No one expected that, but after weeks of craziness in the tag division, everyone knew something was about to change. It seems the referees are trying to regain control.

Mark Maverick & Jamiliah Creed vs. Xerxes & Tsunami (22:23) – Mark &Xerxes started. Xerxes could hang with him, but was unable to get the upper hand so frustrated, he tagged out to Tsunami who had much better luck. The match went badly for Mark, most of the time. He’d get a solid run going only to lose it again, getting 3 near falls against him as he tried to carry for his team. Maverick and Tsunami went back and forth like old hands, 2 guys who really knew one another and how to outwit the other, neither getting the advantage but both getting the crowd into it, causing even JW to come in and add a stipulation – the one who wins this tag portion will get yet another point. Tagging out to Jammy, the jokester came in against Tsunami but never really got ahead of the game, the faster, more agile Tsunami going beyond what Creed could handle. Match ended w/ a quick submission from Tsunami.

Tsunami – 3 points (2 for winning and an additional as designated by JW).

Now the match was morphed into a triangle match – Maverick vs. Tsunami vs. Xerxes. Mark hit the ring and knocked both guys out of the ring, getting an early advantage on both and starting on Xerxes. He was doing well until Xerxes got a counter just as Tsunami recovered. He then went after Mark and hit a series of moves, the 2 going back and forth as before, neither getting the upper hand. Tsunami went for another submission but Mark used it as an opportunity to catch Tsunami, staggering him, and putting him in “Giving the Horns” faceslam. Mark got the pin.

Mark Maverick – 2 point

And finally, the match became Mark Maverick vs. Xerxes. Xerxes took the surprise over Mark, getting a few moves and a pin attempt, but Mark was able to counter out and go for a series of BIG moves, finally hitting his finisher and making the pin attempt, ending what was undeniably an amazing main event.

Mark Maverick – 2 points

Overall winner: Mark Maverick – 1 additional point.

Leading into the first MAJOR show, and what for many would decide the fate of the MWC, the Circuit put on its most successful show to date. Surprises, memorable matches, underdogs going over in TWO separate matches – they threw out all the stops to make their final push into a double length show that would be pay per view, if they could only warrant such a situation. But if they keep going, signing a TV deal where they’re getting paid by a cable company is certainly in the cards!

MAJOR WEEKEND SHOW

Napoleon Drake vs. Tiburon vs. BATT – Triangle (3) - After last week, BATT’s attack that cost Drake a match in the tournament led to BATT getting admitted into this week’s match. Drake wanted it. He got it. But the match didn’t go the way he’d planned. He did get his hands on BATT, quite a lot actually, but each time BATT would counter (or Tiburon would impose himself into the match leading to a counter), BATT would then ignore the hurt Drake and focus on Tiburon. After some crazy action, including several broken tables, the match ended w/ BATT picking up the victory with a pinfall over a diminished Tiburon.

Segment – Jammy worked a practical joke out completely, well… almost completely as his target turned it around, the joke catching Jammy instead.

XS vs. Steed – Kendo Stick (3) – In this match, the weapon never came into play. XS got a surprise counter on the much favored Steed, and took that opportunity to go for the weapon, but in climbing to retrieve it, Steed knocked him to the outside, adding a bit of extreme action for good measure. Steed then decided to get the Stick, but XS did the same to him, tossing him into the steel ringpost and then back into the ring to try his finisher. Steed countered. Hard. And then took over with a thorough beatdown in the corner that left Steed battered, bloody, and his entourage to clean up the mess.

Peyton Lake vs. Xerxes – Hardcore (3) – In a match you’d never imagine from these two, the two veterans took it to one another. Xerxes brought a table into the ring. Peyton put him through it. Xerxes tossed Peyton out of the ring. Peyton sent Xerxes into the ringpost. And then locked on his cobra clutch finisher. Xerxes survived, getting to the ropes, and then was able to get back in control of the match until one mistake led to the cobra clutch again, and then end of the match. Lake goes over in a huge upset.

Segment – Ivy League are in the back. McGinnis asks Eli why they’re there w/ nothing to do. Eli says he always has something to do, which of course brings in Habib from the Sands of Pain. “Like lose,” Habib says. “Not last week,” Eli responds, “that would’ve been you and Yasir.” The situation gets heated for a moment, at least until the other lumberjacks arrive, to make it a standoff.

Nigel Hawthorne vs. Eldar Magnusson – Cage (4) – Eldar had some early power, but as he would get closer to getting in control, the crafty Hawthorne would outplay him. Eldar got caught in a few submission holds that wore down his joints, and though his massiveness was helpful, it wasn’t enough. Nigel did a humiliating move and then left the cage through the door.

Mark Maverick vs. Jammy – Ladder (4) – Mark dominated this match, largely due to Jammy still flustered after his failed joke. He gave it a try, but Mark was more focused on getting the win, and the 4 points toward the title hunt.

Deacon vs. Tsunami – Lumberjack (3) – After a heartbreaking (and surprising) loss last week, Deacon rebounded by taking it straight to Tsunami, overwhelming the Japanese extremist. The lumberjacks didn’t even really get a chance to impact the match, Deacon getting it over so quickly.

LE vs. Alpha Dawn – MWC Tag Championship
The dominant LE entered the tag match with some clear advantages in the tag department, as well as a huge amount of experience. Alpha Dawn had youth and some strength advantages – as well as Afano who had proved to be a powerhouse in several matchups. It led to an amazing Main Event that went for over 15 minutes, 2 referees needed, and a finish that you can write home about. Grant made the tag, setting up for their finisher on Afano. But Afano wasn’t a willing participant, knocking Grant out of the ring and suplexing Ethan into next week. In Ethan true fashion though, he didn’t get pinned, but the next suplex only added to it. This one, Ethan was senseless but he still had Grant, at least until Ayasha took Grant out of the ring, leading to the MWC’s first tag team champions – Alpha Dawn!

[Deacon]

I've been out for a bit due to family issues, but wanted to get back to the actual game - not creating for others but enjoying for myself. Given it's been a few weeks, I decided to just do the matches w/o so many storylines (call it my purerosu wrestling week). Which is good, because from a ratings standpoint, this match would've been a week start to having a minor cable deal - no match really stood out, even the ones that should've been close.

Card 6. Rating:
Segment - Opens show with Alpha Dawn celebrating until LE interrupt, demanding a rematch. Alpha Dawn lets them know maybe next time, but right now, they’re going to carry their titles and enjoy what they’ve accomplished against “the greatest tag team in history.” Fans rejoice and LE fume.

Segment – In the back, Drake is attacked by BATT. He fights BATT off, but the damage is done as he heads out to the ring against Steed.

Steed vs. Napoleon Drake – 2:45. Drake had only a small amount of offense as Steed continued his domination in the Championship Round Robin, winning w/ his finisher.

Eldar Magnusson vs. Tsunami – Tsunami took early control, but Eldar’s power proved a challenge, Eldar hitting Tsunami with a speed move backed up with his size that nearly led to a victory. Tsunami survived, and was able to counter, and hit his finisher. Eldar kicked out! But Tsunami’d been there before. He just hit it again and this time, that was it.

Xerxes vs. XS – Xerxes started fast. XS was able to slip out of the way, using his speed, and get some offense but he got cocky, going for the same move too many times, and Xerxes powered him around for a bit and got the pin after an interference attempt by XS’ girls.

Ivy League vs. Sands of Pain – No DQ – Self Destruct started out against Yasir who overwhelmed the smaller wrestler, tagging out and hitting a Boston Crab/Splash double team that would’ve gotten the pin if not for Eli interfering, taking Yasir to the floor where they continued their fight. Yasir went for a big finish on his own, but the time Eli bought had allowed him to recover. Self Destruct did about 3 moves then a moonsault flip that stunned the giant Habib, getting the quick pin and out of the ring before more trouble hit.

Pierce Hawthorne vs. Tiburon – Hawthorne showed why he is currently ranked #2. Did a cheat move and followed it w/ immediately latching on his finisher for the easy submission.
Jamiliah Creed vs. Peyton Lake – As if trying to follow Hawthorne’s lead, Jammy dominated Peyton from the outset, getting a quick pin.
Winner: Jamiliah Creed

Mark Maverick vs. The Deacon – Deacon put up a fight, but not enough of one as Mark kept the counters going and kept Deacon off-balance, garnering a victory with his finisher after Deacon kicked out of several attempts.
