This thread is 2 fold -

1. To direct people already here to where they can purchase Modern Day Gladiators (MDG) wrestling game. It features some of FW's longtime names (Eli Flair, Deacon, Tsunami) as well as more on the way with the first year's expansions (I'd tell you, but that'd ruin some of the fun). So if this is all new to you, following the link below will take you to drivethrurpg:

http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/index.php?manufacturers_id=4609

2. My 2nd goal is for those who have already purchased the game - this will give them a place to visit and ask questions, talk about what's happening, and anything else MDG related.

That'd be all!

I would play this if it were free.

Yeah, wouldn't we all want it for free. OK, maybe not ALL of us, but those of us who like board games and simulations. Anyway, I dropped you a PM. I had thought of you to do playtesting for it, but as it got closer to completion, your time seemed to get zapped w/ the new job. But read your PM. I got your back!

Justin - I sent another PM so check your box. Hopefully it'll make sense and if not, let me know and we'll go from there.

Shenanigans - This is an RPG or Board game style game, not a video game. Sorry if I didn't make that clear, but if you want to see the some of the mechanics to the game, I'll be glad to show you what it looks like. let me know and thanks for the note of interest.

I'm working on the Ladder match for the game (it's an additional match type the player's can purchase - probably run them between 50 to 75 cents depending on how many more hours I have to put into it). I've completed the way the winning item (belt, "X", briefcase, bag of money, whateva) is retrieved, or not retrieved, and got most of the classic spots for that particular part of a ladder match. I've also got where the wrestler goes outside the ring to bring the ladder in and some classic spots that occur w/ that event. I'm still working out when the ladder is used as a weapon (or leapt off of, etc.) Any spots you think would be a MUST HAVE in what a wrestler does when using the ladder as a weapon? What about unpredictable elements that might come into play during a ladder match? - Like the ladder breaks, Ally comes to ringside (anyone else remember Lita, Spike & probably someone I don't remember getting involved in the TLC match?), etc.

Get with me and make this the coolest match type out of any I've done so far!

You have to use the Helicopter spot.

Which, can lead to shenanigans and ref bumps and dizziness, so that can add to your chaos.
