There is only so much one can do before he calls it a day. There can only be so much, after all. I've come to that stage in my career where I can look back and say, you know what, I've had a pretty good run. Perhaps it's not one littered with world titles, Hall of Fame inductions or magazine cover shoots. Perhaps it's one where my name won't be held amongst the greats of our industry. I get that. However, I still think I've done well for myself.

From where I started in rural Australia, I've gone on to fight all across the globe. I've been to places people can only dream of going, all thanks to what I have done within the squared circle. I've headlined Pay per Views, and fought in some of the most gruelling matches in existence.

I innovated the Bushfire Match, a stipulation considered so dangerous that many feds pre-emptively ban it when someone who has fought inside its confines signs to their promotion. That was probably my only regret, but still bears the worth for a mention.

Within every company I have worked for, I've become their youngest champion in history, winning the Tag Titles with my long-time mate Paul Cockatoo at the age of 14 in Townsville. So I guess the question is, if I think I've had such a great career, why not just call it a day? Why put yourself through this one last match?

Well, everyone needs a swan song in this industry I suppose.

That's all I seek from this Battlemania match, not glory or riches. I just want to exit my career on one last high note. To all 29 of my opponents, some of you I have had the pleasure of fighting alongside and against at points. Others, well, this will be the first time I've stepped foot in a ring with you. Whomever you are, no matter what you've done, I will not step down. I will not back away. I refuse to end my dream going easy or feeling intimidated by someone.

Battlemania will be my swan song.

Oh hell. Someone left the door open and a JK got in. Quick, set a trap and bait it with Vegemite.

Sweetheart, you act like I care if I get a reaction from you or that a reaction from you would even be worth anything.

It may surprise you to know- there are worse than even me, I could point you in their direction perhaps... If you enjoy a KFC smoothie or dead fish smothered with lipstick.

When did not caring become the big new thing. Come one people, engage in life, hold people accountable for the shit they say. Stoicism is the most boring of philosophies.

I hold everyone accountable for what they say and also what they imply. When I say I don't care about his reaction or his lack of one, I mean just that. He may react or he may not react, in the end it's all the same: ineffective and inconsequential.

I mean, fair enough, it just seems like a...I don't want to saying boring...unfulfilling? way of going through life in this business. I'll grant you there is an advantage to being able to play them close to the chest, and I shouldn't project, but I just love take it all in. Our job is to kick each other around, why not take it personally? But hey, different strokes, we can't all like it fast, hard, and chafe inducing.
