So, Diablo 3 told me my GFX card was out of date so I updated it...well now my screen is all messed up so I've attached a screen shot...maybe someone can tell me why it's doing this. Also screen shots of my info.

I see your problem: you're using an integrated graphics chip on your motherboard.

It's too weak to allow you to play some modern games. Looks like you need to buy a graphics card.

Let me guess, you have a pre-built computer from one of the big names like HP or Dell?

He has an Inspiron, it's a Dell laptop line. He appears to have a dedicated graphics cards, but not a great one, so Diablo 3 might be a little out of range. But I'm not sure why updating your graphics driver would suddenly break everything. Go to support.dell.com and go to the Drivers page. If you use IE they can detect your service tag and offer updated drivers. Maybe see if that works.

See that's weird...I had my friend on the phone when I bought the thing (he's a computer science major dudes like genius level) and when I told him the GFX card he told me "It'd last 6 months to a year, should pull Diablo 3...you'll need to upgrade eventually." I just bought the damn thing too...it's a desktop. That's ****ing depressing.

It looks like you can run the game, unfortunately it's going to run like **** at a very low resolution.

Those integrated graphics chips just suck for gaming and are more for multimedia, like videos.

Your best bet is to go for a more powerful dedicated graphics card and a high-wattage PSU.

The reason you want a new power supply is because the ones that come in those pre-built systems are just too weak to power a graphics card that will run the game.

This is the reason why I build my computers. Nevertheless, go on Newegg and see if you can get something cheap. If you need more help, you know where to find me Justin.
