First off, I would like to thank you for taking the time to read this thread.
My name is Sean Edmunds, and I have been in fantasy wrestling for 12 years now. I have been an active member of the FWCentral community since it moved over to the web in 1998. Before that, I was an active member on the *PRODIGY Wrestling BB.
I would hope that some of you know who I am off the boards, as I do talk to a lot of you over IM and whatnot. If we haven't talked, my AIM name is SECandido. Give me an IM sometime if you want to find out more about New ERA of Wrestling, or just to talk.
This thread is about my new promotion, New ERA of Wrestling. After debating a while whether or not to open a new promotion, I decided that if I did, then I should at least make a webpage first. The current website can be located at http://fwrestling.com/host/neweraofwrestling .. I have updated a bunch of images last night on the site to make the logos more clear and crisp.
New ERA is looking for dedicated and motivated RPers who want only want to RP against the best. We've set a roster limit for ourselves and will be scrutinizing each and every application to the toughest degree.
Cards are on the following cycle: There will be a week to RP. After the RP deadline, the card results will be posted within 3 days. The total turnaround is 10 days per card. That amounts to 3 cards a month, and 1 pay per view every 2 months.
There are three titles, the World Title, the Television Title and the Tag Team titles.
There are 6 slots open for tag teams, and Tag Teams will generally be accepted without question. However, there is a limit that a handler can only have ONE singles wrestler in the promotion at this time. If circumstances demand, New ERA may increase their roster limitations, but as of this moment we're sticking with the current number.
The application can be filled out directly on the website and sent from the website.
I want to take this time to thank all those people, especially Paul Miller, Joe LeBron and Ryan Aston, who helped me with the site design and what looked good and what didn't. New ERA of Wrestling will be starting soon, with the tentative date set as soon as we fill our roster requirements.
Once again, I thank you for checking out this thread, and I hope you'll check out the website. If you've checked the website out in the past few days, I beckon you to go back and check out the new logo and whatnot.
Hopefully I'll find your application in my inbox and we can work from there. New ERA is based on the quality of Roleplay, and I'm striving to make its boards a place where every member can interact and improve.
