So the rest of us have to deal with a filter over curse words that aren't as severe because he chooses to write a character that goes overboard?

Yes. Filter isn't going anywhere. In fact, may make it more restrictive just to annoy all of you.

Tell ya what, I'll set up a paid subscription where you can see all the dirty words you want. ;)

Maybe having a trout as a mascot... Fish Wrestling Central maybe?

Seriously, though, apart from having the betting thing back (which was cool!), there is one issue with the site taking an age to load sometimes (as in 10-15 minutes). Could be I've got old computers but it does get annoying. And not good annoying :(

Well I do have that fish logo....

VBookie can return if folks are interested. I believe they created a version that is compatible win the new board version.

See other reply for info about the lag. Should be taken care of soon. In the meantime I'm tryin to keep an eye on it.

...he uses the same words you would, there's no difference.

I just love how he's found workarounds for it.

And I'm just tired of having to self-censor on these boards with the * or the underlines or whatever. Clearly I'm not the only one.

Sorry to hear it. Yet I'll repeat for the masses -- filter isn't going anywhere. There's no need to self-censor, I think most folks get the gist of what the word options may be when they see ****.

Stanton mentioned this to me, but I'd like to see an exact date/time when a post was made for those of us who viciously stack others. You can see it now by click on "Thread Tools -> Show Printable Version," but it's kind of a pain in the arse.

I second this. I would really like to be able to see the time and date of posts.
