(Here we go one more time. Once again it is another familiar setting. Another Pay Per View has finished by the CSWA and, once again, a familiar man who takes his loss finds his way to another liquor establishment to drink away his frustrations and continue to contemplate why his luck is worse than any inmate who sits on Death Row.
That would be expected to be seen right now, but that isn’t the case this time.
Strange …
Pacific Beach Bar and Grill where, in a few days, the CSWA will host their Primetime card. Popularly known as ‘The Grill’, the establishment is located several blocks from Crystal Pier. And, because of them having one of the largest patios, ‘The Grill’ offers a unique dining experience for one and all, but eating isn’t the only thing people come here for cause there are MANY other things.
From NTN Interactive games to Satellite TV to different beers and finally the dancing club ‘Tremors’ ‘The Grill’ is THE PLACE to go while visiting San Diego.
No wonder ‘Good God’ Kevin Powers found his way here.
As the camera focuses towards the bar scanning for Kevin the only thing it is picking up is other people sitting down and having a good time.
CUTTO: Tremors. The dancing establishment within PB Bar and Grill. As another camera scans it finally sees its’ target. Dancing in the center of the dancing floor, with beers in his hands and ladies all around, ‘Good God’ Kevin Powers looks as if he is having the time of his life. Not a care in the world can be seen on the face of Powers who, not more than a couple of days ago, lost to Evan Aho to secure his promise of retiring from the CSWA.
As the song slowly finishes before mixing into another, Powers and some of his newly found ‘friends’ make their way back towards a reserved table obviously for him.)
KP: LADIES! As the night gets a little longer the drinks are gonna get a little bit stronger! And you know what that means right?
Ladies: (together) We gonna see the house that Good God can build!
KP: (puts his arms around the two girls) I couldn’t say it better myself.
Woman 1: I hope we can make you feel better than what you looked and felt like at Anniversary.
KP: (still laughing, but now annoyed) What are you talking about? That’s the best thing of my life right now. No longer will have I have to be a puppet on the strings of CSWA Front Office management.
No longer will I have to see cruiserweights run rampant in the CSWA … dirty Luchadors.
No longer will I have to look at Triple X and Eddy Love and guess who is going to win the Kojak contest. Hell, for that matter, if they put their heads together can they compare to Teri’s chest!
No longer will I have to see ‘The Wolf’ hump the legs of people he hates.
No longer will I have to hear Sammy Benson and his Sphincter Love Adventures …
Woman 2: Oh I heard what he was saying about you when you were facing that cute Evan Aho. He was so mean ..
KP: (more annoyed) Evan Aho? Cute? Well I suppose he is, but he’ll never show any affection. Lord knows EVERYONE knows that cause McCave basically put her stuff on a silver platter and he passed it up time and time again. If he was just more focused on his chances for women than grappling with men he might have a chance to be a man finally.
Woman 1: Oh Kevin you sound so jealous …
KP: (now upset) WHO ARE YOU CALLING JEALOUS? Do you think I need you two bimbo fly-bys? Get the HELL away from me!
Woman 2: But Kev …
KP: (pointing) Get … away … now …
(As the two women, frantic, get up and walk away Powers reaches for a bottle and takes a quick swig.)
KP: Merritt … you rotten Son-of-a … MAN I’m gonna hate Primetime …
