The lineup for our first card, RAUCOUS, is posted. You guys have until the 29th to RP and send in angles.
Also, the website has been updated to show the "upcoming card" and also all the profiles (besides two) have been added to the roster.
Thank you everyone for helping me start off the promotion strong and I wish you all luck in the Battle Bowl tournament.
-- just to clear this up --
The Battle Bowl tournament goes as such:
There are 16 guys. 8 teams. The first round will eliminate 8 guys. The first 8 guys eliminated are put in the "sudden death" single elimination tournament for the TELEVISION Title. The winners move on to the next round, while the 4 losers from those first round matches are gone. This is where the losers of the second round of the BATTLE BOWL matches come in play. There will be 4 more guys eliminated in the second round of Battle Bowl. Those four guys will then face the 4 guys who made it through the first round of the TV title sudden death round. The reason they have a leg up is to reward them for making it to the 2nd round of the World title tournament.
From then on in, its a single elimination tournament for the Television title a la King of the Ring. Winner of the tournament wins the Television Title.
As far the remaining four guys in the BATTLE BOWL match, those four guys are in the finals. There will be a battle royal between them to determine the first World Champion.
I haven't decided what kind of rewards I will offer them. Most likely, the next to last guy in the ring will win a World title shot. The 1st and 2nd guys eliminated from the Royal will most likely win title shots at the Television title..
I am looking for your input on what to offer the 3 guys who lose in the finals.
The battle bowl pairings were drawn from my lap. I wrote all the names on pieces of paper.. picked them off my lap because I couldnt find a bag, and paired them on the ground. The team matchups were decided by doing the same thing, except assigning each team a number to do so.
Once again, thank you all for joining and I hope we show the rest of FWCentral what we're made of!
